I am not from the area and went down to Dedham to buy a car. After signing a conditional purchase and sale agreement, I discovered through Autocheck, the vehicle I had just bought was previously purchased through an auction with frame damage. I was lost in unfamiliar territory without a trusted mechanic....And there was Mike. My mechanic I use at home shares the same name and this new Mike was just as great. He threw the car up on the lift and showed me the impact area and what had been affected on the car. He pointed out the patch job where there was rust already starting to show. He shared some tips about looking for new cars...to run my fingers over the inside door grooves to feel for new paint, to follow the lines on the rear tail lights, as those determine how a bumper is set and the difference between factory applied bead sealer rushed-job-half-done bead sealer.Not only did he share a fair assessment of what was wrong with the vehicle, he educated me as for what to look for in the future. I will definitely take my car to his shop when I am in the area and give him my full confidence with two thumbs up.Thanks Mike!
