During a recent move an 800lb gun safe fell on its side. There wasn’t any way I could lift this. Tyler backed in his truck and with surgical precision uprighted the safe without a single scratch, ding 🛎 r dent. In fact, he may have used his Harry Potter powers as the truck didn’t even seem like it was touching the safe! Amazing job!!!

Contacted Tims after auto insurance roadside assistance service failed on a Sun, and after trying several other services. Call was taken live, processed efficiently, and service scheduled promptly. But then the real magic was Travis. He proactively re-tried jumping our vehicle and succeeded in starting it (avoiding a dealer servicing), and then arranged for us to pick it up at our convenience, even assisting us in vehicle swapping in a torrential downpour. Really above and beyond. Thanks Travis!

I called Renee at Tim’s at 4:45pm and coordinated the pickup of my vehicle. She told me I could pay the driver when he arrived and that he would arrive in an hour and 45 minutes. An hour and a half went by and no call or response from Tim’s. I called back to get an updated ETA for the pickup and they said they hadn’t even dispatched yet and I needed to pay over the phone to confirm. Another hour and a half ETA. Unbelievable waste of time stranded in the 90 degree weather. Won’t waste my time trying to work with them again. I instead called Gordon’s who came in 30 minutes for cheaper.

We had a 22 ft. moving truck stuck in a very tight space with a lot of obstacles hindering a normal tow. John showed up & was the most patient, conscientious, polite & knowledgeable employee I could have hoped for. Had a flat tire that I couldnt manage myself, and on a Sunday of course, when most of the local shops (or at least the ones I called) were closed. I dont remember the servicemans name, because he was very focused in getting there (took about 45/50min) and getting the job done (which took about 20/25 min). $125 later and I was good to go. They accept cash and credit. He was very respectful. I do recommend them!

Truck brake locked up leaving me stranded being new to the area I wasn’t sure who to call for a tow. Went with my gut and called Tim’s based on google reviews. My gut feeling was right tonight. Not only was the pricing extremely reasonable for the tow from Wilmington Island to Pooler but Travis was a godsend. Travis made me feel extremely comfortable to be riding in the truck with him and was very kind and professional. Was told it would be 1 hour before he could make it and Travis showed up in less than 20 minutes and had my truck loaded up and chained in less than 5. More people in this world should be like Travis. He truly cares. I hope to never have to use a tow service again but if I do it’s definitely going to be Tim’s all the way!!

I work for a company that is 24/7 and very reliant on our trucks. One of our trucks would not come out of park at a loading dock so I call Tims towing. They came out late on a Sunday! Quick and fast. Keep in mind that I left the truck there alone with the key so that I could finish my work with another vehicle. Travis (the tow truck driver) gives me a call and tells me that hes has taken the truck back to our shop, in which I thanked him for his fast service. Travis went the extra mile! I was blown away. He crawled under our truck and told me exactly what was going on and how to fix it. Sure enough I crawl under the truck with a couple of tools and fix the issue in about 15 minutes. Im pretty certain that no other company would bother crawling under a truck and diagnosing it for me. We paid them to tow our truck that is it. Truely grateful for Travis. Give him the big bucks Tim!

We had a very positive experience with this organization in August 2014. We needed to move a large handy house (12 ft x 28 ft) two hours to our new home. We called and spoke with Chad who answered all of our questions and gave a competitive quote. Because there were concerns about whether the truck would be able to get into our driveway, Chad actually came by and walked our property letting us know the best route for the truck. They handled all of the permitting, scheduled the job quickly and met us at the moving site on time. The driver, John, was courteous and professional. He was experienced and knew what he was doing. He backed his truck through our narrow driveway and yard over 100 yards and placed it exactly where we wanted it. He delivered our little house without any damage whatsoever. His semi didnt leave any ruts or tire marks in our yard. We will use them again and feel very good about recommending this company. Great Job Tims Towing and Recovery. Thank you!

Our day trip to Tybee turned into a hunt for a tow truck and a hotel. Mind you it is memorial weekend. I called a few tow truck company no luck. I called Tim’s and not only were they available, they also made sure to know where we were at. Visual, our truck broke down on the side of road in Tybee on the long express way, one way in one way out area across from crabs shack. In the dark. Justin was our driver and helped us get our truck to a hotel, to only have them tell me they had no vacancy. Justin helped us get a hotel and was super helpful!!! Thank you all!!!! We got our truck fixed and finally headed home!!!

My company called Tims Towing and John came and got me, pulled my drive shafts in a few minutes and took my trailer to a safe drop location then towed my tractor to Mack and after that dropped me off at a hotel. I liked the driver. I didnt like the phone staff behind the driver. Cheapest tow in the area of Savannah; quoted:470$ for less than than ten miles. Paid $470. Didnt remove the axle. Wouldnt use them again..

I had a dead battery on my motorcycle so dead it would not even bump start. Call Tims said they would be there in an HR and 1/2 and charge me 85.00 for a jump on the side of the road. Shortly after this call my phone died. After 5 hrs standing in the rain with temps below 50 someone stooi to give me a jump because Tims never showed. I will spend my days recommending any service that does not include this company. No concern for peoples safety, no concern of helping people, greed and selflessness rule this company. Please put yourself in the situation that happened to me and see if you would continue to use this company

The worst place on Earth to go. Unprofessional and no class. Damaged the front of my vehicle. Had to get a lawyer just to get the issue resolved because Tim is unprofessional and would not even return my calls until I got a lawyer. Then he begged me not so foul a claim on his insurance. I blew a tire heading home from work late night. After an hour of my man trying to get the 1 last lug nut off I called 2 other companies that were supposed to be 24hr. One never answered and the other the dispatcher fell asleep on the phone with me. Then I got to Tims. From the time the dispatcher answered the phone he was friendly and courteous, even when I had to call back he never sounded annoyed. The driver arrived in a timely fashion, was very professional, kind, and went above and beyond to help us....and it was raining!
