I spoke with Nick the day before my appointment. He was able to convince me to come out for a free check-up. On 9/9/21, I took my 2016 Nissan Frontier Truck to Meineke Store, # 949 Gateway Commons Cir. Wake Forest are due to service replacement. I needed front pads and rotors, along with an oil change. The service Manager and Mechanicals are very professional, work well together making sure the problem with your vehicle, advising their opinion for unnecessary services saving money at the same time, and added discounts. They will provide correct coding if need to be. Friendly, spotless environment, working at a fast pace carefully, checking behind one another for any corrections are services needed. This is a husband-wife team. Amazing service from start to finish. The start encompassed 2 separate phone calls I made to ask about 27 questions. The wife was so patient and kind with me and took the time to answer all my questions. They got me in same day, and I was able to get brake pads and rotors on the front tires. Note: the dealership said Id need brake pads on the rear too, but when this Meineke team performed the brake inspection, it was not needed. Fun fact: if you leave your car there, they will send you pictures of your rotors. If you stay and wait, they will take you back to the bay to have a look. Now thats transparency! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this be your car servicing center!!

Meineke was the closest auto shop to me and had great reviews so I thought I’d give it a try. I like that they’re a family owned business. I called and spoke to someone on the phone about my car problems and they gave me an appointment for just a day later and said I could give them the part I already bought for them to replace in my car. I went to the Meineke car center after moving from San Diego. It was my first stop in Wake Forest, NC for car repair. It being a family owned and operated business, I felt very comfortable with both owner/managers. They were friendly and gave me the straight story on what repairs were needed. While waiting for repairs the team was very cordial. I had questions about my car and two other vehicles having work to be done on them.I was very impressed with their knowledge and honesty. They did what was needed in a two hour timeframe. They had an air conditioned waiting room with TVs and free muffins. Also, I liked the mini phone recharging station. Nick and Jay made my service experience excellent.I strongly recommend Meineke be your first stop for your car needs.

I went in for new rear brake pads and rotors and everything was fixed with a reasonable price. The people up front were very nice and when they called me back with the estimate, they didnt try to sell me something I didnt need (they checked the front brakes and said they were fine). The only negative thing was there was a little grease on the inside of the door, but it wiped right off. I would definitely go back.

Always fast and knowledgeable. I come here for every oil change. Around $25 for my Ford Ranger- no sweat on my part and almost cheaper than me buying the stuff and trying to do it myself and spending an hour + to do so. Saves me in the long run

Needed an inspection and the only time was at 1:30 pm. My kids get off the bus at 2:15 pm and with a 20 minute drive it was cutting it close so I went early in hopes of getting out early. Not only did they take my car early but they completed the inspection fast so I was home in time for the kids. All the staff were super friendly too. Definitely will be back.

I had my catalytic converter stolen from my 2006 Prius. Meineke worked with the insurance guy and got me back on the road quickly. They also let me know there was a hole in my exhaust that they would be able to fix it without replacing the whole exhaust system. I appreciate any time a garage is willing to work with the customer instead of fleecing the customer.

My go to place for honest, dependable service. I had to use a different company for last oil change due to location, and they stripped my Volvo oil plug. They tried to blame it on Meineke who I have exclusively used for 3 years. Lie! I called Lindy at Meineke in Heritage Wake Forest to tell her the situation. She ordered a new Volvo oil plug, set up appointment and Meineke fixed the issue - even though it was no fault of theirs...for the price of the part. Trust this place. I have, and will continue to take my Lexus GS 350, Volvo XC90 and Nissan 370Z to them. This shop has ALL the right equipment to service these brands. Side note: a mechanic there is a huge Nissan 350/370z fan...and is super knowledgeable. All sales service people are great. Get the Meineke app and register and they will send you oil change coupons that beat everyone! :).

I am extremely happy with the experience I had with them. They identified my problems yet I knew about the brakes; which was why I was there. However, they took the long road and identified ANY problems my car had, including the oil leaks as my car was sending alarm bells, but no actual warning indicators. They let me know and gave me a price for all problems and advice for the one I cant afford to fix right now. They never pressured me into anything; and like I said, they gave me advice on a band-aid until I could afford to get the work done. After my brakes and oil change was done, they even test drove my car to make sure everything was fine before I got behind the wheel, again. Great service, with friendly staff! I got a brake replacement appointment right away, and they even drove me home so i didnt have to wait there. After drop off I inquired over the phone about an oil change coupon but it didnt apply. I understood, but when I picked up my vehicle they did the oil change for the promo as requested. A nice surprise and saved me a two hour trip at the dealership for a free oil change. Highly recommend!!

Brought 2011 Ford Edge in for check fuel light and found out fans needed to be replaced. Customer service was excellent.*Edit - Meineke does have excellent customer service as I was contacted and we resolved a concern I had. Incredibly satisfied with my experience at Meineke! For most of my life Ive simply been unable to afford mechanics to work on my cars, so I taught myself a good amount of mechanics and general repair and maintenance and did my own work on my cars. On one of my previous trucks Ive had both my front wheel bearings fail and then had to replace them myself - so I know from experience with just normal home-consumer grade tools a wheel bearing replacement is doable, but you can guarantee yourself busting at least one knuckle and its beyond frustrating. Now that Ive finally got a bit more money at my disposal, when I felt the telltale signs of the bearing wearing out on my new (to me, still a 2006 with almost 200k on it haha) car I felt immense dread about the thought of doing that job again, and decided to use some of my more available cash to just pay someone else, who has the proper tools and a lot more experience, to do it. Im insanely happy I chose Meineke. Talked to them on the phone, set up an appointment, dropped my car off the night before with the instructions to definitely replace the front left wheel bearing, and for them to check for play in the front right wheel bearing and replace that if they think its necessary, as well as an oil change. They called me at around 10 the day of (before my appointment time was scheduled!) And let me know they thought the right bearing was still super solid and that theyll just replace the left bearing for me. That alone impressed me cause I was honestly expecting to potentially get up sold like a lot of mechanics do, even if my right bearing was still good. So I was already super happy about that. Picking up the car was fast and easy and the staff was pleasant, and after taking a look at my receipt I realized that they had in fact installed a Moog bearing, which have a great reputation and is the part I wouldve chosen if I did it myself, and they didnt even upcharge on the part at all. 124.99. I think rockauto might have the Moog one for $119 but I mean thats $6... And you cant expect any local place to beat a big online establishment like that. Not to mention rockauto customer service is astoundingly horrible. That blew me away a bit! And only $120 in labor to have the bearing replaced. All in all I got an oil change and a brand new Moog bearing installed all for only $300 - this Meineke has definitely proven a lot of stereotypes about mechanics shops wrong and I will absolutely be using them in the future for any more repair or maintenance needs!

Great staff. We had to wait on a stud to be delivered and I had my daughter with me. These guys hooked my little girl up with snacks and made our wait very entertaining. I didnt have much work done but Ill be back.

My appointment was easy to make online. When I arrived my appointment time was actually the time they started on my car, which is rare! They were very fast and efficient. Excellent customer service. I will go back for basic maintenance.

As a woman, I’m usually wary of going to car shops because I’m afraid to get taken advantage of. And I always feel like I’m being talked down to. However, Meineke in Wake Forest has been nothing but good to me. They have been with me from my first oil change and through both my accidents and have had no problem breaking down any topics I didn’t understand. They weren’t condescending, and they actually believed I had the ability to understand how car systems worked.Also, as a student, it’s hard to pay for repairs sometimes (I did a number on my car in the past), and worked with me in a payment plan with no pressure. It meant the world to me!I can go on and on, but they have fair prices and excellent customer service. They see you as a person and will strike up a conversation as you’re waiting like you’re old friends. I am afraid to go to other shops because I don’t think any of them will measure up to Meineke. They’re the reason I’m still in the road.

Just went in to get an oil change and tire rotation but they were very fast and fairly priced. I came in before my appointment but they took me right then and got it done, very quickly. Good experience.

The staff is just amazing! Although they are a franchise, they run their business very much like a local mom-and-pop (in fact, went to Meineke from two other locally-owned shops). Never had an issue with the work theyve done on any of our vehicles, and theyve always been straight and honest with the work. Highly recommended!

I had a 12:30 appointment. I arrived about 12:20. I was greeted by a young man who took my information. I was told in would that about 25 minutes to inspect my wife’s car. He was back telling me the inspection was done in about 15 minutes. The inspection has to be done before you can renew your license sticker. The car is a 2020 model with 1350 miles. It stays in the garage most of the time.

Had some issues prior to our vehicle inspection and the team at Meineke worked with us to ensure we got everything repaired and ready for the inspection. Very knowledgeable and helpful staff.

I arrived at my scheduled time for my oil change. The lady at the counter signed me in, said it would be 30-45 minutes. I came back to about 45 minutes and they were just finishing. Everyone was very courteous and professional. All had facemasks on which made me feel good. Price was good and they honored my coupon. I will continue to use this Meineke I the future.
