I have always enjoyed the service from the 1st spray! For a long time we havent been able to use our front or backyard but since we have been using the Mosquito Joe service we have enjoyed our yard. Thank you for making outside fun again!

We have had an enjoyable experience with Mosquito Joe. We have used them for several years and had good results. They always notify us when they are coming and make sure not to spray when rain is expected soon. They will also come back and re-spray if asked to do so. Very friendly people!

I have to say my family is really enjoying the evenings thanks to the Mosquito Joes team that has maintained our lawn for the last three weeks. There is such a great difference from pre treatment to now. Its well worth the cost of the service to enjoy our deck once again!

Wonderful service!! This company gave us back our outdoors, now we can enjoy our deck day and night. Also, it rid my flowers of all insect infestations. The only insects we see now are Bumble Bees, Dragonflies and Butterflies - a gardeners heaven!

I sold my house there a year and a half ago and apparently they are still spraying the yard and sending me a bill after I called and cancelled this twice. They did the same thing last year. FYI they are now illegally trespassing on someone’s yard and spraying chemicals; these people may or may not even want the chemicals on their yard. Fix your system mojo. You guys are messed up!

We have a VERY COMPLICATED yard that includes very sensitive plants, vegetables, ornamentals and were in the midst of a major home addition. The technicians worked around our complicated schedule and used care and concern as my wife walked them through the yard explaining her spraying concerns and cautionings regarding the vegetables. As a result we are again in a mosquito free home and yard. I highly recommend Mosquito Joe to even the most discerning of yard lovers to make their outdoor space livable. Even our contractor has put the bug spray away.

I will say the product is 5 Stars but the customer service is no Stars.Horrible communication between the handlers and the folks that spray. Used their service for two years and finally got fed up with them doing drive-by sprays. I called customer service almost a dozen times and eventually ended up with a Manager and still....the handler and the folks spraying are on two different pages.They were always quick to charge my AmEX but extremely slow with customer satisfaction.

Have been using them for about 3 years and have seen maybe 3 mosquitoes in our yard since then. Before then, during our first summer in the house, we could barely go out on our deck or use our pool, without being eaten alive, Friendly staff and it really works!

I really enjoy Mosquito Joe, their customer service is top notch and the gentleman who sprays my yard is very familiar with my neighborhood! He consistently goes above and beyond to make sure my yard is properly treated!

Last year I only got Mosquito Authority which I was happy with. This year I decided to try out Mosquito Joe, who unfortunately didnt quite deliver. Although they are on prompt, and checked in before spraying, they did not spray the whole perimeter as expected. I was disappointed as a lot of mosquitoes have bit us since. Maybe I was just the only ineffective spray but it was enough to not make me come back. When I tried expressing my concern they came up with excuses. Im sorry but I have gotten services before that were much more effective.

Beware of Mosquito JoeI cannot attest to the services that they offer for mosquito control, but I can say that they will create accounts without authorization and will bill you for services that you did not authorize. Then, they will tell you that they can prove they had technicians on your property to provide services by reading dates off of their computer system, but cannot provide any proof that you authorized the service or actually spoke with any of their representatives. And, even though you have a locked gate, they will claim to have sprayed your property. Beware! Apparently all they need is your name and address and they can say they serviced your property, bill you, and then send (or threaten to send) you to collections leaving you to fight the unjust charges to keep them off of your credit report.

Please dont get service with this company. I fell into their trap of their advertisement for new customers. This company creates unauthorised debts. I just learned this weekend that they have been charging me for treatment to my yard without my authorisation. I specifically told them that I wanted the service cancelled and that I was going to call them if I needed the service again. All this information was shared through a phone conversation with one of their representatives. Their representative was very nice and told me that they were very flexible and that they will stop the service. Also she stated that whenever I wanted to resume the service just to call them. I felt that everything was taken care of but instead I kept getting billed for it. I just found out that I have been getting billed since 2015. Also we sold our home on 28 October 2016 and they continued to spray even though we dont live in that address anymore. The latest bill is for 276 dollars from May 2017 to now. I have been trying for Ms. Morris to take care of the situation but so far it seems like I am being avoided. Also please dont give them access to your bank account. I already contacted Navy Federal about this company taking money out of my account without my consent. I called Mosquito Joe Friday night stating that they didnt have permission to take the 276 dollars but instead they rushed and took the money the following day. I am so sad of how companys like this takes advantage of their customers. I read some of the reviews on this page and it just seems like MOSQUITO JOE continues the same pattern of stealing our money!!! I wonder how these people sleep at night? I will pray for you all!!! I will also write to the Better Business Bureau to report this company for stealing the money of a military Veteran that has given so much for this country!!!July 29, 2017Mosquito Joe has resolved the problem and has refunded our 276 dollars back to our bank account. Linda has apologised several times for the inconvenience. We are very pleased with the issue being resolved. It took some time but MOSQUITO JOE came through for us. Thank you Linda for resolving the issue. I recommend that with any company not just Mosquito Joe you keep proof of everything especially cancellation notices.

Mosquito Joe sprays my shop and my mother-in-laws house in Norfolk. Both places were horrible with the mosquitos population. I am happy to say that they have eliminated the mosquitos from both places. My techs are happy that they can go outside and not get bitten and I am happy that I am not constantly batting them in the office, and lastly, we can finally go outside at my Mother-in-laws home in Norfolk to enjoy her backyard with the dog.They keep in touch with you before and after the spraying and are very professional with dealing with us, the customer. A good combination that spells success for any business.I would recommend them to anyone that has a mosquito problem.

I will say the first service went well and they did impact the mosquito population; however they did not seem to have any impact on no-see-ums, in fact I had never seen them as bad. I do not know if the treatment reduced whatever eats no-see-ums but it warrants consideration.My concern comes when the company came by for the second treatment. I did not call and schedule the treatment; they assumed that I wanted the treatment. They where correct, so when I saw the email saying the company would be by the next day between the hours of 8am to 5pm, I decided not to call and cancel; however, the email came in at 4:04pm the day prior to the service so the reaction window to reschedule is small. The email stated the following:You have an upcoming scheduled treatment from Mosquito Joe. Spraying will occur between 8am and 5pm. If you may not be home, please be sure to secure pets and unlock gates so our technician has access. If for any reason you need to reschedule, please give the office a call at 494-3440.On the day of the service at 8:49am, I was outside cleaning up with my son and dog. I did not hear anybody knock on the door, nor did I hear anybody say they were going to start. What I did hear is two blowers start up. I told my son to get in the house and as he was going in the back door from the rear deck on of the individuals blowing rounded the corner and sprayed in the direction of my son. Both company individuals saw me and saw that I was yelling and signaling to stop, which they did. The workers told me that they knocked but nobody answered. I was upset they started the treatment without clearing the yard first and I sent them away. I immediately called the local number, same as above, to talk to somebody in the local shop. I did get somebody in a national call center, who told me repeatedly As I have told you, we can only forward your message.The local rep called me back fairly quickly. My concern was the workers started without clearing the yard first. What I received back was a qualified apology. Sorry but 90% of our clients work during the day. Putting aside the possible escalatory nature of the messaging, I recommended again that the company should call out and check the yard before they have their workers start. The local rep was very focused on the original message, and cut me off a few times to repeat the 90% theme and sometimes we spray the neighbors too, when they pop up from behind a hedge. I stated that they should visual check rather than play the odds that people are not there. She disagreed with me that knocking and blowing is playing the odds. When I tried to interject my point, I was told that I should stop yelling. Bottom line if you are not visually checking and you are blowing without calling out, you are gambling that people are not there, and I did not yell at her.Eventually I did get the local rep to say that it was a good idea to change their procedures to call out and visually clear the yard before they start up the blowers and start spraying. She did not say they would do this, just acknowledged that it was a good idea. Until the procedures are changed I would highly recommend finding a different service.Issues:1. Spraying without clearing they area2. National call center with no immediate local access3. Prioritizing speed over safety as a policy that has been acknowledged but not yet changed.4. Making defensive excuses at the call center and by the local rep.These above policies and practices are showstoppers for me and why they get an F for professionalism.

It works! And in the world of mosquito delivered viruses, it is even more important for people to treat their yards.

Very professional. Product works. We eat on our deck now probably 40 times per year. There is always a few skeeters that find us between treatments but no big deal.

Billing issues made the service not worth having.
