Jon at Bug-Master is wonderful for many reasons. I called on him for services for the first time and if it were not for him being so thorough and honest during the termite inspection, I would have ended up purchasing a home that would have bankrupt me to fix had the deal gone through. I found another property and needed another termite inspection and despite his busy schedule, Jon made himself available once again within 2 days of receiving my call. I am thankful to Jon for his knowledge, flexibility, and for providing a great service.

These people have your sign a contract, sign a service agreement with terms and conditions which only protects them. Nothing that covers what happens if they do not do the work as agreed upon.Case in point. Seven years ago we contracted Bug Masters LLC. They came to the job site and walked out saying they were not working on these conditions. Three months later we get a bill asking for more money. We talked to Bug Masters explaining what had taken place. Bug masters agreed to let this one go.Seven years later there is a lien placed against us. Asking for the money they did not earn plus 18% interest from seven years ago. Needless to say we are going to court over this one. More to follow.Call anyone other than Bug Masters LLC. Lifesavers! I am a Realtor & needed work done in a crawl space at an honest price & in a timely fashion, and Jon delivered. We had terrible problems with termites for three years running (2018 - 2020). Bug Masters assumed the contract with our previous person. They did a lot of work the other person did not do. Bug Master put in termites traps and put fluid in the ground all around the house. We have no more problems with termites since they did the extra work. We are very satisfied with their work.

The owner was extremely unprofessional, threatened my husband in front of my kids, while in my house. This was a few years ago but we were threatened to take down our review or they would take us to court. Now that I am seeing that this is an ongoing trend I will gladly stand behind my original post. My 1 yr old daughter was standing next to my husband in my house and the OWNER proceeded to scream and yell at my husband while waving his hands in the air, stepping closer and closer, bumping into and knocking down my daughter. I honestly wish we had gone to court but instead I am hoping that I can help save someone from having to go through what we had gone through.

Not only did they ease my anxiety of the termites but they explained each process and what to expect. I really appreciated that they showed up when they said they would. Thats almost unheard of today. They were fast, professional, seemed highly competent and interacted well with my small children which was also much appreciated.

To add to are report that you say was false. The contract signed, said spray both apartment for bugs and lay traps for mice. Unfortunately the downstairs tentants apartment was not clean and your guy refused to go in to either apartment and just sprayed outside. You called and I agreed that he shouldnt go in. We agreed there was nothing more that you could do. We were done you could not fore fill your end of the contract. I evicted the offending tentant and it took two months to clean and paint. Up stairs tenant never saw you. You continued to spray outside, so you say, but I was there every day for two months and never saw you. I had to bug bomb both apartment myself. Seven years go by and now the downstairs tentant had a lean put on her which we switched over to us. With 18% percent interest. My husband tried to talk to you but your hung up on him. So it is off to court we go.

John the owner of Bug Masters has done a great job of getting rid of cockroaches in our house after just one treatment. During his first visit to our home, he identified our problem and treated our house immediately! He came back a few weeks later and gave us a follow up treatment. We were so impressed by that initial call that we hired him to treat our house and grounds for any bug infestation problems. We have been very happy with his continued service so much so, that we decided to hire his company to take care of our 7-11 Store for our extermination contract there, dropping a corporate enterprise we were not happy with. Since he has had our store under contract, he has taken care of any issues noted in a visit. Just today in fact we made the decision to award John our home termite service for prevention and inspection in the future! Now Bug Masters will take care of all our needs both at home and at our business. Great job, John, keep up the good work!

John and Cody are great! I called them and expressed my concerns about the bugs we had around the house, they came out did an inspection and figured out the problem right away. They treated both the outside and inside of the house as well. Couldn’t ask for a better company to work with! John also reassured me that the product he was using was safe for my pup and toddler! All around a great company, great customer service and dedicated individuals who truly want to make sure you are satisfied with their work.

John and Cody came in and blew me away with how nice they both were. Taking care of our problem with yucky bugs as quickly as a few minutes. I was a little nervous at first but my nerves were alleviate by both of their kindness and good sense of humor. For starters, he offers a discount for reviews, so keep that in mind. He is not military friendly. He did not uphold his end of the contract but expects me to uphold mine. He did not give me a yearly termite inspection, as stated he would in the contract. I have had 1 inspection in 4 years, with no written inspection report ever provided. When this was brought to his attention, he directed me to read the front of my contract (because the back “doesn’t apply” to me [???]), which also reads Bug-Masters LLC will conduct periodic inspections (approximately annually). It also states, “If client cancels at any time all stations will be removed” and “The purchaser hereby agrees to the prices, specifications, and “terms and conditions” on the reverse of this agreement”.We sold our house and moved out of state on Military orders (not by choice), asking for the termite bait stations to be removed, after 4.5 years. He had 2 months’ notice that we were moving. When asked to remove them, he threatened to take me to court, stating I take military to court all the time (his exact words.), if I were to remove them myself. He had asked me to send a certified letter (I sent 2), stating a certain date to have the stations removed by, and he was unable to meet the date (which he asked me to send in the first place, promising he would) and refused to take them out any earlier than the letter stated. The entire phone conversation following was unprofessional, with a raised voice, yelling, and threats of being taken to court, along with being called a “pain” (which is what he would call some of his customers, a “pain in the a**” – again, his exact words).Nowhere in his contract does it state to cancel at a certain time period within the renewal, and I am now being charged for services that are not being rendered ($300), as the stations are removed from the property and we are no longer in possession of the house. With his unprofessionalism, lack of timely services and cashing of checks, and the fact that he refers to clients as a pain, I would not recommend them to the future homeowners.I offered to pay him $100 for Cody having to come and take the bait stations back, but he did not want my money. Now he is threatening with collections if I do not pay within 30 days.Military families, beware.I am fully expecting a response from Jon along with some gaslighting. I wish I could share with all of you the recording I have of him yelling at me on the phone.EDIT: I dont understand why you feel that someone who has a problem with you and your services is an unhappy person. I removed the “5 stars” part.You state the stations are “damaged”. I have photos of them, where is the damage? You promised a date and could not meet that deadline. It did not rain for 5 days straight. I wanted those holes filled and seeded before we left town.I will disagree with you and tell you, I was not “combatant and belligerent” with Cody. I have no qualms with Cody, I liked Cody. I let him know I would be removing the stations myself, he advised me not to, I told him I did not care and to have you call me. Your phone call to my husband and I actually shows that you are the combatant and belligerent one, and beyond what one would expect from a professional business owner to a client, former or otherwise.The phone call from my attorney? In response to your threats to sue me.The “warranty”? Are you referring to the one that “doesn’t apply” to me? I quote you: “That part of the agreement doesn’t pertain to you as it is for clients with an annual warranty inspection only “.The “true story?” We sold our home and moved on military orders, severed ties, and were met with hostility and unprofessionalism, and a bill for services not rendered. I offered you $100, you refused to take it, and are now trying to extort me for $300 because the military moved us, after you said you wouldn’t.

So long story short! We left a bag of trash in the garage while on a short vacation! Maggots were all on the garbage bag! I literally used bleach, vinegar, boiling water to kill what I could! I call the Bug Master and he basically gave me information what to do! Very very helpful and honest man! John was his name ! The owner!! I will definitely spread the word!! Wonderful customer service!!!

John and Cody of Bug Masters came out on a Saturday after a late Friday evening panicked call about pest. They were very calming and efficient in the work. They told us what they would advise to fix our pest issues. They gave us an estimate but there was absolutely no pressure into a contract or service. After discussion we decided to go with their annual services. So far we are very pleased. Also they took the time to make sure our dogs were comfortable with them coming into the house and yard. In response to the owner: Please post the dash cam footage, I am well aware of what happened and have a dash cam as well.The driver turned right at a red right light into traffic which had just turned green, I continued traveling in my lane at a constant speed in the second lane from the right. The driver was straddling the far right lane and the lane I was in.As I came to the next light, alongside the driver, he repeatedly yelled and hung his business card out his window (SEE ATTACHED PHOTO).At the next light, he switched from his intended lane to the left turn lane to directly tail me, closely, when he was originally in the far right lane and intending to go straight.It is never appropriate behavior to yell out of your window at a young woman at a stop light from your company vehicle. Let me first say I received a $25 discount to leave a review. but then let me say that except being super busy and my not thinking to leave one without prompting,, the incentive was not needed. I thought I had an account with another company. My partner and I each thought the other was taking care of monthly scheduled services neither of us was! When I saw one little guy who does not belong - I freaked!! Oh Hell no! I started calling everyone in the book but no one could see me till next week. To me- this was an emergency! Not only did Jon answer his own phone, he personally brought a technician with him and met me personally. He set me up a contract and they sprayed immediately! From what I have experience with my fist encounter, I am impressed! Hopefully the service is their standard & and the product is efficient.

Decided to wait a few months before posting a review. However, have not had any issues with this company. They are very responsive and come out quickly if I have any pest issues ie. hornets nest that needs to be knocked down. I have also noticed a huge difference with the amount of insects in my home, which I am very thankful for. Also to be forthcoming I am getting a discount on my bill for this review, however, I will continue to use them in the future.

I recently changed my rating for this company because the owner does not have any type of customer service skills. As with all the other reviews from multiple clients he is very nasty when speaking to you and talks in a condescending tone. He loves to argue and tries to push a contract on you to keep you entangled. He is upset I would not sign another contract and proceeded to raise his voice and try to be little me over the phone. I was not going to elaborate on why I changed my rating BUT since the owner chose to respond and not be completely honest about why I changed it, I am letting any future customer know that there are better more organized companies who will talk to you with respect with quality equipment and people. I wish would of known he paid people for the reviews because there is NO way this company should have 5 stars due to the way the owner treats his clients.

I woke up to a living full of ants! I found Jon on Google. The reviews were good so I called. He was out here within two hours. The ants are gone. Jon was super friendly great with my kid and pets. He took me outside and showed me the nest and gave me some tips on what to do and not do. His treatments are pet safe too so I did not have to leave the house. Another great thing is that you don’t have to be here when he comes to do treatments. That can get hard with work schedules. Very pleased so far. Prices are reasonable. It’s a local small business which I always love to use.

Bug Masters cane out to treat a roach problem at my house within less than a days notice and on a Sunday! They were very friendly and professional and the majority of the roaches had died within the first week and after two weeks I stopped noticing them completely. Thank you.

When I initially called, he answered on a Saturday night and was willing to give up his Sunday family time to check out my possible termite problem. I knew it wasn’t termites because I’ve taken lots of entomology classes and college and I visibly saw ants inside rather than termites. I was using it as a tactic to see if he would scare me into immediately purchasing a termite treatment, like most pest places do when the see any damage. He was honest and really cool about the situation. He said it was old termite damage, but it was nothing to worry about m. He mentioned termites could come back but it’s not active. Then he told me his prices and gave me options for paying. He wasn’t pushy at all. He’s a very cool guy, and his services encompass a lot of pests. Some places I went to only did specific bugs, but he covered virtually everything until the same price. Highly recommend this company

Nothing but positive things to say about Bug Masters! I called inquiring about Carpenter Bees in my Holly bushes They recommended that if that was my only concern and I wasnt on a maintenance package, that I wait because of it being pollen season. I ended up signing a maintenance contract because of other issues and I am more than pleased with the attentiveness and service.

Had roaches, tried bombs and everything but nothing worked. john was able to kill em in a timely manner and keep them away. really easy to work with and far cheaper than the name brand ones (looking at you orkin)

Jon with Bug-Masters responded immediately, and was here within 20mins of my call. He was very professional, courteous, and explained exactly what needed to be done. I was extremely impressed with Bug-Masters and will continue to use them in the future.

After never giving me the option of a 1-year contract, I signed a 2-year contract with Jon Tari. The same day my husband informed me that when he talked to him, he said it should have been a 1-year contract based on their phone conversation the night before. I called him back and questioned him on why he didnt give me the option of a 1-year contract. Jon Tari stated that he felt like it was always a better deal to do a 2-year contract so thats why he didnt mention it. He offered to let us just do the one-time service and tear up the contract or we could convert to a 1-year. I told him I would get back to him within a day. My husband and I decided we would convert to a 1-year. I emailed him to let him know. It wasnt until a few days later when I didnt hear form him, that I realized the email I replied to from his business, was a no reply email. I then called him and left him a voicemail explaining the delay in my response. He returned my call. I told him what we wanted to do and that I wanted my husband on the contract because this joker liked to throw that around and taunt you with the fact that he didnt have to talk to my husband because he wasnt on the contract. He stated we both had to be home and I said we would get back with him to set up a time we were both home. Im home all the time but my husbands is not. I asked my husband to reach out to him and set up the time they were both available. Jon did not return the first call. So my husband called again and Jon told him he would get back to him within an hour. He never called him back. At that point, we were over this week long saga and decided we would take the other option he offered with a one-time service fee and tear up the contract. I called Jon Tari and he exemplified what all of these previous negative reviews discussed. He became very hostile and kept interrupting everything I would try to say. I explained why we wanted out and he became extremely angry, unprofessional, and he went back on his word. He also tried to make me out like I was the one in the wrong. He was the one that conveniently left out the 1-year option talking to me. I told him that I completely understand why he had so many horrible yelp reviews and he ended the call with Welcome to a 2-year contract! Dont trust this joker for one-minute and couples dont let only one of you sign the contract because then he will use that against you. The spouse not on the contract will not have any say at all...even setting up a time to do a new contract or discussing anything to do with pest problems. Hes a nightmare! I was able to see the real guy before I posted my goggle review for my $25 discount. That’s the only reason these other reviews are so great.

Overall good service for the price

Had a spider issue inside our house and after Bug Master came out and sprayed we havent found any spiders in our home. Peace of mind not having to worry about stepping on one in the middle of the night or one attacking you while in the bathroom. The day Jon sprayed I came home to the morgue of spiders on the front porch and my package😂 after that no more issues.

Called and they came out for same day service highly recommend them.

After attempting to go with the big company bug control and was not happy with the price I asked another military spouse and they recommended Bug Masters. Jon was knowledgeable, courteous and timely in helping my bug issue. His pricing is fair and inexpensive compared to the big company bug control. So very pleased with my serviceThank you Jon!
