I have been coming here for years and have always been pleased! I moved away a while ago, but still make sure I come to get my nails done here when I am back in town. Hai did my nails today and was so helpful with picking out my colors, provided a great service, and gave me such a good massage!

So I usually go to this salon and I’ve never had any trouble usually they do exactly what I say and it turned out beautiful but this time around it was very frustrating the guy who did my nails he couldn’t understand me I kept having to repeat myself and even though I was telling him what I wanted and it was super simple manicure pedicure no color I just wanted my nail beds cleaned up and taken care of and he literally was pressing so hard during my manicure he didn’t take the cuticle but he was peeling layers of my nail off and I usually keep my nails pretty clean but that day I have been doing some pretty heavy duty outside work and I had dirt under my nails he didn’t clean under my nails so my nails still look dirty and it looks like I have peeling skin all around my fingers because of how he was cutting around my fingernail I asked for square and he rounded them out and didn’t really shape them at all I mean I feel like I walked in there with better looking hand then I walked out with

This is the best place in Virginia beach to get a pedicure and gel manicure. The salon is beautifully decorated. It is a family owned business and everyone works well together. Kim does a beautiful job with a French manicure. The gel nails last a long time and do not come off before growing out. They use quality products and are always on time. I enjoy coming here as the pedicure is so relaxing!

Got my acrylic nails completed there. Have had acrylic nails done multiple times before at other places no issue. This place within a week I am removing them because they are getting snagged and sharp. Upon removal noticed some mold under the acrylic as well. Let alone the design they completed was subpar at best. Never going here again.

I have been going to unwine for the past 3 years and always have had the best service. Kim, Kimberly and their staff are so friendly and do an amazing job. I personally see Kim and she knows exactly how I like the shape of my nails, the length, and even the colors I lean towards.

Been coming to UNWINE since 2013 and have seen it grow through the years. The decor and equipment has changed though however it has always been clean and more than reasonable in the pricing. Offers an array of services. Accepts credit cards. CASH tips. Never disappointed. Due to pandemic and social distancing, masks and appointments required.

Best. Manicure. Ever. I went in with my 9 year old granddaughter for a girls outing. We were treated extremely well, one of the staff even offered to take a picture of us. Breanna did an amazing job on my nails, which lasted over a week. Prices were reasonable and salon very clean. I do not live in the VA Beach area, but if I did I would be a regular at this salon.

I have always enjoyed this salon. However I just a gel manicure and it lasted 2 days! The pedicure was fine but not a lot of attention given to details of care- calluses. Not sure if I will go back this time.

Love coming here! Always busy and occasionally not on top of who has an appointment vs. who walked in however, be always had a great pedicure and manicure here. Certainly the longest foot rub on Shore Drive! Love the owner and location. Everything is very clean and renovated. Will be back as always!

First visit and highly impressed. Kaitlyn did my nails and shaped/tinted brows. She was very talkative, personalizes and sweet. She listened to my complaints of past nail care (fibromyalgia does not like the drill). She introduced the dip to me and even picked a slaying color. She explained the lashes technique to me. We chatted the whole time. I got my all new beauty care in one place not too far from my job. Lots of techs of all nationalities. Highly recommended.

Sean is the best!!! We didnt have an appointment but were able to get two pedicures with minimal wait on a Saturday. Looking forward to coming back the next time Im in town

I enjoy all of the services provided....I had the best facial, pedicure and gel nail application. And today I had the 3D microblading on my eyebrows! What a wonderful experience and affordable! I had over ten compliments about my eyebrows as soon as I left the shop....love them!!!The staff are professional and the spa is very clean. Very rude to us. I wish we had a better experience. Ended up leaving and they have lost a potential customer.

We specifically searched for places open until 8pm. When we walked in at 6:55, everyone in the place just stared at us. When asking about a certain nail design, I got a flat out no as an answer and generally felt like I was a huge inconvenience to them. Someone finally told us they close at 7pm - but only after starting our pedicures - so it was too late for us to say, oh, nevermind then. When I said their hours online say 8pm, she said Yeah, we havent updated that. The only thing listed on their door was their opening time, so Im not sure how we were expected to know that they werent honoring the hours advertised. On the plus side, they did take us. The ladies who stayed after closing to do our pedicures warmed up and ended up being very sweet. I would just rather not have created a hassle for them to begin with. I felt awful. I rarely pamper myself, so leaving feeling awkward and embarrassed was definitely not the mood I was hoping for.

Unwine Nail Spa is an amazing place to get any type of nail service, such as manicures and pedicures. They also do full sets and fill-in. I would highly recommend this place to everyone.

Nail technician was rude and left my cuticle on my fingernails so my gel manicure looks like I painted my own nails. She painted my pinky and I realized the color was too light, and she was MAD. When I went to pay, they apparently didn’t take American Express, no problem. So I checked my other bank account to make sure I had enough transferred in my checking from my savings, and she gets weird and stands behind me looking over my shoulder as I am on my banking app??? I won’t be returning

I always come back here because of the massage. Anywhere else Ive been gives you a 5 min massage max. They give like a 15-20 minute massage. Lets me real I can paint my own damn toenails Im here for the foot rub :)

After a long day at work, I came in not too long ago and got a mani and pedi from Daniela. She helped me pick a color to go with the season and also actually talked during the process of doing my nails. I believe its very important for clients to feel welcomed and opened to conversion while having services. I recommend Daniela for any service!

As a guy I feel comfortable when coming in for the rare pedicure when toenails get a bit too gnarly for me to do myself. This was my 4th visit. I love the friendly staff. Have been fortunate to get Victoria. She pays attention to any special issues and when l walk out my feet feel great and i feel like im walking on clouds. Major relief after the great foot massage that comes with the visit. Highly recommend Unwine and Victoria

I love this place! Everytime I get my nails done here (not often), the staff are friendly and I walk out feeling like a new woman! I did the dip powder on my fingernails and got a pedicure. The dip powder normally stays on for a month or so, totally worth the cost.

About a month ago, I got a pink and white gel set. I was a walk in and I didnt have to wait long at all. Although I didnt have to wait, the lady (who seems to be the owner or manager) who did my nails, acted like it was a burden to do my nails. On top of that, my nails were uneven and poorly done. She definitely rushed. So I thought that maybe Id give yall another try today. Again, I was a walk in and it was a bit busy. I understand that you cant take walk-ins the second they get there. And this review isnt about that. Its about how I felt as a customer when I walked through the doors of your business. I had 2 broken nails that needed fixing. It probably wouldve taken 10 minutes tops. The first lady I talked to gave me the ugliest look and was extremely rude to me. She acted like she didnt care for my business or like I said before, a burden to her salon. So I went to the lady who orginally did my nails the first time and as I was showing her my nails, she rolled her eyes and huffed and puffed. Im not one to leave reviews, but this is the worst nail salon Ive ever been too. So unprofessional. Not only are you unprofessional in your salon, youre replies to the reviews on here suck. Youre entire staff should really take a class on customer service. I will never go here again.

A friend of mine suggested I come with her here to get my pedicure. It was the best decision I made! Victoria did my pedi and she was and is awesome!! She took her time and made sure I was comfortable and my water was a good temp, which is important to me. The massage she gave me on my feet/legs was everything and it felt like I had 2 new feet lol. When she was finished polishing my toes they looked great and she gained a new client. All of the staff in the nail spa makes you feel welcome and gives great customer service. I highly recommend them.

Just went to get a mani and pedi here. Scheduled an appointment and everything. I got terrible service. The lady who did my pedi repeatedly scrapped the skin off the top of my foot as if she wasnt even looking at what she was doing. My toes started to bleed. I brought this to her attention and she began being rough with me and grabbing my legs and ankles to move my feet in the air dryers hard. She even slapped my foot at one point. I asked her what her problem was but she just laughed. Then I was told I wouldnt be able to receive a manicure after all that. Even though I had scheduled one. Not that i really wanted one at that point. Will definetly warn all others from coming here.

From first look, you would assume that this salon is great. It looks clean and open. Unfortunately, I was extremely unhappy with their service. I made an appointment specifically requested an ombre nail design. I understand not everyone knows how to do this but I was told when i made the appointment that they would have no problem doing it, to just bring in a picture of what kind of colors Id like. At my appt, I was told that they couldnt do it. I gave them the benefit of the doubt by just letting them do a simple blue instead. A different employee with a horrible nose ring chimed in with an attitude stating that they never told me that they could do it. And even rolled her eyes. When the woman did the acrylic nails, she didnt push back my cuticles, she hurried putting on the nails and even the gel paint! They werent even and when I tried to tell her this, she told me it wasnt the nails just my fingers that made it look that way. She fixed up and pushed my cuticles back after she was done. They didnt look horrible but definitely didnt look nice enough to be charged $45 for them! And on top of all that, they only last 2 weeks! I thought gel nails were suppose to last longer!!

It was my first time getting gel french manicure and pedicure at this Nail Spa. Jelisha did my nails and Quang did my pedi. Both were very gentle and thorough with my nails. But despite them taking the time to not be rough, i actually got them done faster than usual. I didnt have to tell them to be gentle. I didnt feel rushed like other salons where they dont even wait for the uva timer to finish. Ill be coming back and I hope the service is the same. Oh and dont forget to bring cash for the tip!

I had an appointment set up for 2 on Valentines Day, knowing it would be busy. Ive been here since 1:45 with an appointment at 2 and its currently 2:50 and my sister and I are still waiting. A group of walk ins came in and they put them before us. They completely ignored us. Definately not coming here again or recommending it.

Came in the other day and said that I wanted to get a pedi. She said to have a sit in a chair. I was sitting for bout 5 minutes before someone came and filled it up with water. I waited 35 minutes without someone even saying anything to me. During this time, three ladies came in and got helped right away. After 35 minutes I got up and left without someone saying anything to me what was wrong. I used to come here all the time but lately the service has been awful. I dont mind waiting if I am told when I walked and not completely ignored.

Very relaxing time. I felt great for weeks after my pedicure.

I got acrylics put on with my friends and mine started chipping off in less than 2 weeks and my friends were falling off. The lady who did then was very rude and was not paying attention to what she was doing. She put too big of nails on my nails and did not file them down evenly; one side of the nail is rounded but the other side is sharp.

This place has been steadily declining over the past year. I used to enjoy going in here but something has changed and after what happened to me today, I will never go back nor will I ever recommend them to anyone again. I had made an appointment a few weeks ago specifically requesting a certain technician for a pedicure for this afternoon. When I arrived, the owner Kim approached me- with a mouth full of food- letting me know that my tech had double booked herself and that someone else would have to do my pedicure. When I stated that I only wanted to see her and thats why I made an appointment, Kim shrugged her shoulders and giggled, telling me well shes right over there so you can talk to her about it and then walked away from me. This was one of the most unprofessional situations I have ever been in and the fact that the OWNER laughed it off was pretty heinous. Over the past few months Ive also witnessed the girls eating full meals at their nail stations- some while working on clients, being on their phones while working on clients, the owner gossipping to her clients about her employees, and staff making you feel rushed at the end of the night before closing (one girl asked me to pick my feet up so she could sweep under the desk one evening while my tech was painting my nails). If you are looking for a quality spa with a professional, comfortable, and clean atmosphere this is not the place for you.

I booked an appt for 3:30pm yesterday with Brianna, who always does my nails and is amazing. When I arrived I was told Brianna had gone home sick, did I want to reschedule or have someone else do it? Why didnt you call me befor I drove 30 minutes to get there, oh, we didnt have your number. Well whos responsibility is that. Because I was already there I had someone else do my pedicure, big mistake! I guess her friend was having a pedicure in the next chair so they started talking about her babys daddy had left her and the unborn child, and her friend caught her fiance cheating. I told them I didnt appreciate their conversation, they were quiet for a while and then started talking again after I told them I didnt want to hear about their drama. Im disgusted at the level of unprofessional behaviour, she did my toe and made it bleed and the polish looks like a 2 year old did it!! Kim you need to talk to your staff or fire them and send them to work at walmart!! Im going to go somewhere else to have the polish redone!

I was rudely turned away and told to come back tomorrow because I was a walk-in. What pisses me off more than anything is they took two walk-ins while I was standing there. I will NEVER come back to this place.

I came here to get my prom nails done and when we walked in a costumer was just paying at the front desk afterwards she left I stepped up to tell the employee what I wanted except I didnt have a a chance because she (the employee) left to sit down and text on her phone, mind you none of the 15 workers even welcomed us. I was desperate enough to give them the benefit of the doubt and waited 5 minutes. Another costumer walked in and was immediately greeted and serviced. I hate to think that racism exists but with everything that went down over there I have to. These people ARE RACIST AND RUDE DONT GO HERE!!!!!!

Govon a regular basis, best nail salon in Va Beach.

I chose to go to Unwine nails because they were open late till 8:00PM and had the best yelp reviews and the lowest price points. I called ahead yesterday 1/22/16 and made an appt for 7pm stating that i may be a few min late. however, I arrived exactly at 7 to find that all the lights had been turned out and the door was locked no one was around. I double checked the sign on the door that confirmed that their regularly scheduled hours were Monday throu Saturday 10 am to 8 pm. Needless to say i was extremely dissapointed. To get my nails done in the allotted scheduled time i had to go across the street where the same service was $10 more and the technician was less then thrilled to see me there so late. I want the chance to give Unwine a second chance cause I have heard only wonderful things about them, but its a little unerving to call ahead and make an appointment only to find that no one is there.

I go out of my way to come here because they do such a great job on my real nails and they have reasonable prices. 💅

I called for an appointment for myself and my daughter and her friend. I asked if I could set an appointment. She told me I could come now. I explained I couldnt be there for a half hour. She said okay ... So I asked if there would be a waited I was trying to set an actually appointment. Two 8 year olds waiting is generally no fun. Then I heard a sigh on the phone. So I apparently was annoying her. She then said she would put me down. So I started to give her my name - and before I could finish - she asked if the girls would want a full manicure. I said yes. Then interrupted me again to tell me she had me down. I asked how if she didnt have my name - then another sigh ... So needless to say - I didnt even go to the salon. If I cannot get past a phone call without feeling like I am a burden then they will not get my business. Apparently they dont need it.
