I wish this facility was better since it’s less than 3 miles from my home. The dumb bell area is too small, and poorly arranged. The personal trainers are obnoxious and rude when training clients on the open floor. The Princess Anne location is worth the extra 15 minute commute.
It was our first time here and all the staff esp the receptionists and the staff at kids place were very professional. We love that theres a basketball court also and all the facilities and equipments are very well maintained and sanitized.
Sorry OneLife.. Too crowded.Too many treadmills, not enough weight lifting machines, and a small free weight section.Movie room could be amazing, but instead its sad with worn down broken equipment and most times no movie is playing and you have to annoy the gym staff so they can play the movie that is scheduled to play and should already be playing.Newport News location is far better and worth the price. This location is not very good, not worth the price. Couldnt even workout most days because too many people, so I just left.Canceled and ate the cancelation fee
My first time getting back into working out and I was nervous but staff was super helpful and friendly. I swam in the pool and wasn’t too sure about it being coed since I’m used to swimming in women’s only gyms but the environment was really good. My kids are in their child care and the people there were nice and thoughtful especially since my youngest cries a lot they got him to calm down so I can keep my workout going
Staff here is very friendly. They work hard to maintain the machines although they do break down sometimes. Nice and clean too. 👍
Had a power outage and not one employee or manager communicated with the members working out the time to address the situation. So people stayed and work out lol thats LIABILITY. hopefullythe upper management sees this. But they posted something on fb after the fact... next time, use verbal communication!
OneLife has been a great place to workout if you’re looking for a variety of space and fitness equipment. Friendly staff, great locker rooms, and clean facility.
I started coming to this gym about 7 months ago. This specific location is my favorite one. It really had everything you need. From different areas where you could get in a great work out, pool, sauna, & not to mention the variety of classes you can sign up for. I joined onelife to specifically train with my personal trainer Jay, but have enjoyed the other amenities the gym offers. If your looking for a trainer who enjoys what he does, who listens to his clients’s needs, & makes sure you achieve all your goals, Jay is the one for you. His vibe is amazing. He cheers his clients on, he laughs, its always a fun but sweaty experience. He wont disappoint. 5 stars for Jay.
Nice and clean gym with a friendly staff, but the real standout at the gym is personal trainer Jay Colston. His unique style of training, the knowledge he brings, and the motivation he gives is what makes him the best trainer at this gym. I have had a couple different trainers but Jay is hands down the best there is.
Great facility with lots of equipment, very clean, and very friendly staff.I did personal training with Jay and he was awesome. His challenging workouts got me in the best shape of my life.
Moved to town and joined 2 months ago, love the classes. The gym has lots of equipment! Friendly employees, trainers and instructors.
They treat you like family, Melissa at the front desk is fantastic!
Customer service significant DROP! I have been going to Onelife fitness for 7 years. From Burke VA to Portsmouth VA and everyone in between. Went to Virgina beach after about a year. Made a reasonable request ( to do alittle work in the front area in between sets) on Friday 6/18/21, at 0900. Was looked at like I was crazy. Then the entire time I was there I was recieving judgmental looks and comments). Again I pay alot of money to go there and have for a long time. Starting to think a judgment free zone would be better. Stop judging your customers!
I used to work there, and my experience wasnt the best at all. The manager was very kind and helpful, but the assistant manager and the staff were not very helpful and stand-offish. They always got irritated whenever I asked a question, as if I was suppose to know what I was doing after working there for a couple of weeks. Some of the the staff werent very patient, and I didnt feel a part of a team when I was there. My first day wasnt the best. One of the employees was not the nicest, I wont say any names but he was rude. They made me feel like I didnt even work there. The patrons were nicer to me than them. I think for the incoming employees, this particular location needs to offer better treatment for their staff because honestly, I did not feel welcomed.
I have been coming to this location since it opened, the maintenance man (paul) takes his job very seriously and follows up on hardware issue that you report and makes sure you are satisfied with his work.
Large, spacious gym; a variety of equipment including free weights, stairclimbers, and weight-assist machines. Has a sauna that seats around 14, as well as a hot tub and 4-Lane swimming pool. A membership here includes all the classes: cycling, yoga, pilates, kettle bell, and more! Private training is available at an extra fee.Kid Friendly!
Great Central location. The facility has everything you need. Very friendly stuff, great classes, especially PAC on Thursday which is the main reason I signed up for Onelife.
If you are joining the gym for the group fitness classes then dont even bother. Its nearly impossible to get into the classes and once you follow their own rules to ensure youre in the class, doesnt mean they wont toss you out anyway. The app they use to register is very faulty and not even the staff is fully aware of how to work it. But that doesnt stop them from enforcing the rules the way that they see fit. I am very disappointed.
I give the gym three stars, only because it has classes, movie theatre, all the right equipment, a pool, etc, etc and only cause $30 a month. And just like everything else you get what you pay for and you really are not paying that much. The good stops there. The works are not exactly rude, but they will not be overly helpful and they are always ready to tell you why they are right and you as a member are wrong. When you report broken equipment they will do nothing. Pretty sad, because this gym has the potential to knock out all others in area, but lacks customer support to do so.
Upstairs and downstairs sections of gym get blocked off for just a couple people to get personal training for only a couple hours a day the time I have off work I should pay for what I get
Anytime I have a question they’re more than happy to answer it!! If one does not know the answer, they find one who does. Laz was EXTREMELY helpful to me this evening when I was asking about kids care and if it was reopened. He was very informative and did his best to answer all my questions and ask if I had any to make sure there was proper clarity within the “new normal” rules. I am very happy to have been serviced by him! GREAT JOB LAZ !! 👏🏼P.S. love your name 😁
Many people including me were disappointed in the lack of care, transparency and decency in handling customers. It was very obvious that they are more concerned about gaining profit and popularity. They are accepting way too may customers than their trainers could handle resulting in poor services from them.
I find it highly ironic that your gym specifically told me that if I had orders you would cancel my gym membership. But I am still paying even after I called multiple times. My advice to people thinking about going here is, dont.
I really love this gym. The people are great. The problem, seems to be that they obviously dont have support from higher ups to take care of the basic things that need to be taken care of.It took months for them to fix the bench in the sauna, for instance, and only did so after they were complaints of people being INJURED.Even now, there are STILL nails and screws sticking out in different places that they dont seem to care about.Currently theyre cleaning the pool, but because today, apparently, cant keep the chemical balance correct, I still will catch an ear infection from their pool if I am not sure to get all the water out.Going to a chlorine pool would solve this problem, but they dont want to do that, so they want to stick with what theyve got, even though they know people are getting sick from it. I just listen to some of the clients talk, the tell you how theyve gotten sick from the waterThen theres the hot tub, it literally has A coating of slime they can be felt at the waterline. The water is often cloudy, and the bubbles, actually have slime on them when they form. Of course, do not get me started on the trap near the steps, the inside of it literally has brown funk, The only word I can think of, growing on it, that has been there for over a year that they refused to clean. And a special section, for the safety issues. The steps going into and out of the hot tub have damaged railings that MOVE and will shift away from you, easily resulting in a mis-step and I have seen multiple people, including myself, fall because the railing slipped out of our grasp. The floor is EXTREMELY slippery when wet, and they refused to do anything about it, instead just putting out signs so nobody can sue them when they inevitably fall and get injured. You better be a partial gymnast because you ARE going to slip, and nearly fall because they wont spend the money to get the floor treated to prevent that. This is true of the floors in the mens locker room, and around the pool. I can only assume its the same the womans locker room as well. I mean, wifes been what would probably be a hefty sum, the treat the floor to prevent slipping, when you can just put a sign out and then say, Screw you when one of your clients inevitably injures themselves. So expect to fall down somewhere and if youre lucky you wont get hurt.None of this I blame on the people that work there, I know its not them its the people that are getting the money that OBVIOUSLY dont care enough about the customers to do basic sanitation and basic maintenance to protect the health and safety of their clients.I personally have decided that the only option I have now is to take photographs and send them to the health department and whatever happens next happens next.Hopefully theyll get some citations that will force them to start taking care of some of this. The pictures are of the filter I was talking about, and you can see how the railing can be shifted around. Both are like this.Hopefully somebody will do something about this. But in closing I do want to say again that the staff is incredible, they just dont have a lot of work with unfortunately
It’s a cool place to work out and the staff are super helpful
Love this location. Clean, friendly. Only thing that could be improved is the variety of group classes offered. Its always the same ones every week.
I joined this Gym, for the locality in correlation to my home! I do love the size of the gym and all the updated equipment! The water area for kids is super awesome!! The staff always friendly! My older son is autistic and the young ladies in the child care area have been so amazing with him! My younger son, loves when the staff in the child care engage in play!He thinks that is the best! I have absolutely no complaints about this gym but I do have a suggestion, it would be really awesome to get a steam room in that gym!! And maybe a women’s sauna! I won’t go into detail why but I do know and I have overheard several women wanting this including myself!
Im new to the area and need to get back into a gym. stopped by one life and was shown around by miss Montana. She was knowledgeable and friendly, able to answer all of my questions. the location is clean and sanitized. definitely made my decision easier. I will be signing up tomorrow
Oliver my trainer has helped me on my fitness journey for 4 weeks now! He is amazing and has taught me how to eat better and work out! He encourages me to keep going! Thank you Oliver ! Jessica
My friend and personal trainer Brian Cavanaugh encouraged me to join Onelife Fitness many years ago and I have always been impressed with how friendly the staff are and how hard they work to make cleanliness a priority. I have had the privilege of training with Brian on many occasions. I enjoy picking his brain and sharing knowledge of the fitness world. His positive attitude is contagious and much appreciated during a straining time in this world.
This va beach blvd club is always in great condition! I frequent this location a lot and I never have a issue here. The club is clean and has many sanitation stations around especially more now with covid. The staff are always friendly and helpful. The daycare is open again too. The pool and sauna are fantastic as well!
I really like this location. Its always pretty clean. Theres plenty of space to workout. The pool is rarely crowded. The staff is generally nice and no one really bothers me during my workout. Everyone keeps to themselves. The child care at this facility is wonderful too. They know my daughter by name and are always wonderful with her. She has such a good time and hates to leave. I have to promise her Well be back tomorrow which of course, keeps me on track as well.
DON’T DO IT! $30/month and can’t cancel. The facility is ok when it’s not absolutely packed but the staff is condescending and hard to work with. I have been trying to cancel but you can only do it by email (not in person or on the phone). I’m deployed and still getting charged every month. Last thing I want to deal with.
I have been coming to this gym since the first day it opened. I love how clean, spacious and nice the staff is always! I recently started training with Jay, it’s only been two months and I’ve noticed amazing changes. He’s very knowledgeable, I’m learning & he motivates me past my zone of comfort every single training session. It has been one of the best things I’ve done for my fitness journey. If you are looking to learn about exercises, about form so you don’t get hurt & need motivation, you need to get a session with him! This is my an amazing gym and i definitely recommend it 100%.
Excellent customer service and friendly staff.
Please warmer pool, a degree or two and heated pool room, especially, now that winter is here. Also, short, older people cannot exit pool on the far end as there is no way way out unless you can propel yourself out..needs a ladder.Other than that, I love the place. Exercise has greatly helped my lower back pain..and hot tub and sauna are wonderful! Thanks for your time!
Onelife VA Beach Blvd has an energetic, upbeat vibe and friendly staff that makes working out fun. There is plenty of equipment, classes, and a nice functional fitness area. I started personal training with Jay about 3 months ago, and he is such an inspiration. He pushes me and encourages me to move out of my comfort zone, demonstrating proper form and safety and how to work out with maximum efficiency. I always look forward to my sessions with him! He is so knowledgeable about fitness and walks the walk. Since Ive been working with Jay, Ive seen nice results in my energy levels and body fat loss, all while having fun and building self confidence! Highly recommend Onelife and especially Jay as a top-notch personal trainer!
The OneLife on Va Beach Blvd have the friendliest and most knowledgeable staff. The trainer Jay goes out his way to educate me on my nutrition and how to train in a proper way. His outgoing personality will make take it up a notch at the gym.
Front desk needs to be educated about their own memberships.I want to know where my money is going and the fact they couldnt tell me a single thing or had no idea what a guest pass was is a poor representation of the gym.I get they have a membership team and had I had time to sit down and chat I would have but the fact they couldnt even tell me a price is pretty sad.
I’ve had nothing but a positive experience at Onelife Fitness VA Beach Blvd. From a personal training standpoint, Devin is top notch. He treats every client as an individual and tailors each workout appropriately. Don’t waste time on a trainer who goes through the motions. I can promise you Devin strives to be better so he can serve his client better. Coming from an athletic trainer, it’s neat seeing a personal trainer who is so knowledgeable on injury prevention and rehabilitation, not only strength training.
Have been working out at this location for 3 months. The facilities are great, well maintained and clean. Plenty of equipment and lots of space. Their personal trainers seem to be really good too. I work out with Jay, in particular, and he is the best! He knows his stuff, pushes me to my limits, and in the time Ive been with him, Ive seen real changes in my strength and stamina. Great value for the money!
The One Life gyms in the Hampton Roads area are by far the best in the area. Super inexpensive and ton of bang for the buck. The equipment is all state of the art, the classes are phenomenal (with tons of options and times to choose from) and great trainers and staff. 🙌🙌🙌
I love the gym overall but I started going here with a goal in mind, just wanting to get back in shape, tone up and getting back to where I used to be so when I found out that they had personal trainers I was excited. So I decided to get a personal trainer and Jay has been a motivation in my life. I have lost almost 18 pounds and I only been here for almost a month, He gives me a reason to come to our sessions because he knows exactly what hes doing. I can be a little hard headed sometimes but he makes sure the work is done . If anyone decides that they want to actually focus on their weight and really want to make a change . Jay will be the person I recommend to anyone . He pushes me to work hard as thats what I like. So I appreciate One Life and I wouldnt change it for the world .
Ive been a member of Onelife Fitness for over a year, and have worked with the same personal trainer for all of that time (Devin). My experience and results have been great and I am very satisfied with my experience so far. I value the environment, knowledge and coaching provided by the Trainer staff.
I have had a reoccurring issue of this gym not canceling my membership, I am literally in another state and they consistently continue to ignore my calls.
Personal training with Jay has been great so far. Even on days I’m not feeling it he motivates me and pushes me to get a strong workout every-time. I’m definitely stronger from when I began. Gym has large number of classes and aerobic equipment which is also a plus. .
Love Onelife and the personal training is top notch. Devin is definitely your go to if you’re looking for someone knowledgeable, motivating, and friendly. He personalizes all my workouts and kicked my butt into shape in under 6 months.
Have to give a 5 star shout out to my trainer Jay Colston. Started with him at the end of April and have seen fantastic results. What’s great about Jay is he motivates but doesn’t belittle you. He also keeps the workouts fresh. It’s been two months and we rarely do the same thing twice. If you’re looking for a trainer who will make you sweat but get you to that level you want, just ask for Jay!-Ken
Great gym, versatile equipment, awesome staff!! My experience with the personal trainer program has been wonderful so far; working with Jay has been unique, as a trainer, he’s been thorough and persistent in helping me reach and expand my personal goals. Every session has been individualized and educational!!
The only real difference between Onelife and Planet Fitness, Blink, Flex is the amenities (i.e sauna, hot tub, pool). It never fails that on a weekly basis one of the three are inoperative. This is a newer gym and people rely on you all to maintain the upkeep so they stay up and running. This is disappointing because for the past two years you all did so well until here recently.
GREAT Gym!Staff is always friendly and willing to help.I signed up to do personal training, My trainer JAY :) Helped/Pushed me to lose 20 lbs in 2 months and at least an inch everywhere! Couldnt be more happy! Thanks !!! 👏🏼👏🏼
I’ve worked with Devin now for 9 months and I am continually impressed with his level of knowledge and his dedication to his profession. His workouts are novel, efficient, and give proven results. I was unable to run for a year due to a knee injury. Within 4 month working with him I was back to my normal mileage.
I love the gym atmosphere and the employees. Always welcomed with a smile, unlimited options. A friend and I do personal training with Taylor and love her. She makes us work. Goals are being met and results are showing.
The amenities this place has is amazing. It is never ridiculously busy and they even have babysitting during work out periods.
This is one of my favorite OneLife locations. They have a ton of group fitness classes that I highly recommend. Their group fitness manager is great and she really works to make sure they have a wide variety of classes. The gym is huge and they have a ton of newer cardio equipment. The weight lifting areas are large as well, they have child care, a splash pad and an indoor pool. Large locker rooms as well. Very friendly staff that always greets you as you walk in.
I am very frustrated with customer services. When you join and they try to sell you additional service they do not stop calling. I have been trying to cancel my membership now for 3 weeks and have contacted both corporate and the local branch (Virginia Beach Blvd) and have gotten no response from either! Obviously they only care about the sale and not the experience after!
Everything is nice except for one major thing. Good luck trying to cancel your membership. Ive done everything I was told to do, several times for months now and they still keep taking out automatic withdrawals each month. They still just took out another one this month a few days ago. Ridiculous!!!
Been going to this location for about four months now, and Id definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a new gym. Its a great value for what you get: tons of cardio machines, free weights, squat racks, functional fitness area, pool, sauna, kids area, studios for group classes.Pros:Kids play area is huge and open, my daughter never wants to leave.Trainers are approachable and knowledgeable.Front desk is friendly and helpful.Locker room is spacious and showers are nice. Everything is clean.Plenty of cardio equipment, even when there are broken machines there are still a ton available.Pretty much any cable or weight stack machine you could possibly want.Music isnt so loud that you cant hear your own, but loud enough for when you forget your headphones.Cons:Needs more squat racks. The personal training area gets pretty crowded, would benefit from more floor space for training. It is smaller than some other One Life locations in the area.
The children’s area staff is amazing. The gym is always clean and staff super friendly. I use Taylor for personal training and she is extremely friendly and encouraging
I’ve been working out at this gym for a little over a year and have been training with Devin for the whole time. He is great, he has helped me get stronger and continues to help me to reach my fitness goals. If you’re interested in personal training I would recommend training with him. 11/10
I absolutely love this gym! Its such a great place to work out. The atmosphere pleasant and motivational. The staff are always friendly and inviting when a member walks in. The locker rooms, gym floor, and studios are always clean and well maintained. I love that they offer so many classes and times that are very convenient. The sauna and spa tub is great after a workout to relieve sore muscles. The offer low impact classes as well, and swimming is always an option. My personal trainer Ryan is fantastic. I personally do not find the gym to be crowded and I have been there at many different hours of the day.
Great place to work out. Clean, great location, plenty of parking, great customer service and Devin my PT is next level. I highly recommend Devin.
Ive loved this gym ever since I spent my first workout in here and it has become my getaway from stress. My personal trainer, Todd Atkinson almost seems like my friend whos training me rather than someone I pay for. I never thought that I could love a gym so much but I really love this one. Ive made so many healthy changes to my life because of my membership with Onelife!
Hello I’m a member of one life and I love the facility and the people working there. I think the best part I enjoy is my trainer Matt he is very patient with me and keeps challenges me which I need.
Great atmosphere the place is clean and great personal trainers to help you towards your goal that youre trying to meet
Lots of classes available with excellent instructors. Machines are well maintained and the gym is clean. Nice pool and area for the kids. Lots of different exercise equipment. Basketball court. Everyone is very nice.
We are visiting VA Beach for the holiday weekend. It turned out to be bad weather so we visited Onelife as guests. The staff was wonderful and the equipment was clean. I loved the cinema room! It turned a rainy day into a great workout!
This gym is great for moms. The kid area is so much fun my kids dont want to leave. I also trust the staff in the kids area. We play in the splash zone a couple times of month too.My favorite classes are spin, body pump, cxworks, and barre. Sarah and Arlene are fantastic instructors that push you to work harder and get stronger.Im very happy with my membership, I just wish the kids area opened earlier than 9 and it would be nice to have more barre space in the mind/body room. Thank you for listening to your members by getting new bikes for spin!
Love this gym. Its inconceivable to me why people go to other gyms when this is the best gym for the best price. Its clean, they have a variety of classes, an indoor pool, a hot tub, and a sauna! There is something for everyones workout routine. I took off a star for not being thoughtful with their movie selection in the cinema. Like, why arent they playing Halloween movies in October and Christmas movies in December?
I went there with my friend for sign up to him at 2/6/2019.I recommended my friend this place .Somebody tried help us there. We told her that we just want $29.99 regular packet to him.We also were ok with annual fee.But She wanted $149 first time sign up.I told her that We pay $29.99 a month and we accept annual fee which is you have. But why we gonna pay $149.I signed up with you guys in 2017.Same day my friend did not sign up with you and I called off my sign up. also I called my another friend and he came there. And he called off his sign up.A day you lost 3 customer which is not good.
Friendly, positive, and motivating staff. Both of my young kids do very well with the kids zone staff who are pleasant and interactive. Equipment and bathrooms are always clean or constantly being cleaned. Always greeted with a smile. Equipment is well kept and fixed in a timely manor.
ZERO Stars for this place, the old guy at front desk named ALL is the rudest one Ive ever met, first of all he gave me a dirty look as I walked inn, and then decided to ignored me when I was asking questions, then he dared to smile at me and turn around !!!!!!!!!!! WHY IS THIS TYPE OF PEOPLE TREATING CUSTOMERS LIKE THAT!!!! As Ive being reading the reviews IM NOT THE ONLY ONE COMPLAINING ABOUT ALL. You people need to heard us customers !!!!!
149$ sign up fee!!!! They just trying rip people off.I was about sign up with my friend, first she told us 149 sign up fee, and she dropped price 99$!!! It seems whatever they get from customer that is good. Sign up fee doesn’t write on paper which she show us plans, she is just writing there; this is our sign up fee and then drop it, like a joke.
[If you are someone who is considering this line of gyms you will find better from places like Anytime Fitness, Planet Fitness, or even the rec centers in Virginia Beach]I had been charged for personal training for a duration of five months that I had cancelled in April of this year because of a personal training manager over at Princess Anne that wasnt doing his job properly according to Brock Berlener (fitness director at this location).I emailed Brock about the charges on September 19 and received no replies from anyone. I then emailed him again on October 18. I even called this location multiple times to either speak with Brock or have the employee I talked to to leave a note for him to call me back. Every time I went in to workout I had asked the employee at the front desk to leave a note for Brock. It wasnt until Alex at this location told me he would put a note in Brocks mailbox as well as the mailbox for the general manager. This finally convinced Brock to call me only to tell me that I would need to talk to Tom Hill who replaced the personal training manager at Princess Anne. Brock told me he would give Tom my information so he could call me.I waited a few days before emailing Brock that Tom hadnt called me yet and I received a call from Tom the next day. Tom asked for an email I sent to the previous personal training manager asking to cancel my training and he then sent me a refund to my bank account for the amount owed.Great, but what about the compensation for the time I spent trying to fix something that should not have happened?I emailed Tom on November 10 asking about this compensation and I have not received a call nor an email from anyone from this company. I am honesty surprised that the reviews for this company are so high. Its probably because the reviewers never had to deal with management.Alex is honestly a great example of customer service and I have nothing but great things to say about him. He greets everyone with a smile and warm welcome, never fails to hold a friendly conversation, always seems to be doing something productive, and has known exactly what to do in every encounter Ive had with him. I wish I could say the same about the management from both this location and Princess Anne.
I think he staff is friendly. The locker room floor is very slippery, I really dont like the coed sauna it gets super crowed . Also on the weekends all their music playlist is all rab trap music they dont mix it up. No happy with this location
Great setup and very nice pool, although a little sketchy slippery around the pool its nice. The workout areas even when busy are still pretty accessible obviously some things are used more then others. The staff is overall very good some obviously dont care about there job lol but still overall good.
The staff is all incredibly friendly and helpful, and the new facility is really awesome. Its bright and open, making it a really pleasant place to work out. The personal training crew is the best Ive ever worked with and have been very flexible with my busy schedule.
I have been a member for 2 years now. Amazing gym!!!! Not to mention they have great staff, right from the front desk to the personal trainers and the Class Instructors. They were all so friendly and understanding. The classes they offer are very well organized and they offer them at times that work for everyone. Onelife fitness has changed my life and im so glad I decided to join this gym instead of Planet Fitness. 😊
By far my most favorite gym. If you cant get a good workout here, its you... not onelife. Staff is friendly and helpful, equipment is new and you will find any machine or free weights to accomplish your goals.
The gym is very clean the staff is friendly the only problem is they run out of water quite a bit they run out of towels quite a bit I for one I like one of the other members enjoyed the heavy bag for a cardio workout and I guess 11 weeks later these guys cant seem to figure out how to put another one up or which I noticed if a machine breaks down its quite a while before that machine gets fixed as well I guess grabbing a membership fee is more important than getting a machine backup online that youre paying for? Okay so in all fairness the clubs response back to me I understand the machines are at the mercy of the company that warranty I get it. Just in case you didnt know they sell heavy bags at Dicks Sports and they usually have in stock thats that same day and theyre pretty inexpensive. So this is an update its now over three months these guys cant seem to get a heavy bag for a hundred $150 at Dicks Sports? At least I saved myself $20 a month being over here at Planet Fitness until they get their act together
Matt really challenges me and seems to know my capabilities or how much more I can be pushed more than I do. He’s very intuitive and easy to work with while still being challenging.
I wanted to sign up my child for the kids club and asked to let him spend a little time in the room first to make sure he likes it. Find out, I had to pay $4 for that. The manager Steven was very rude and condescending when giving me the information. Being a member for two years, I felt disrespected and highly disappointed.
I have been able to stick with gym routine. Since joining Onelife I have been going 3-4 times a week for the last year. I feel amazing and I owe it all to the staff members. They are always motivating and helpful! Kirt is my personal trainer and recommend him to everyone I speak to!
The personal training here top notch and the best that I have experienced, ask for Devin !!!
Facility is great but WAAAYYYYYYY overcrowded especially during the 4-8 pm time frame. Many times I have had to leave as there was going to be a long wait for the free weights and benches. On the plus side, it is very clean, customers are nice and the staff is awesome. Would definitely recommend unless 4-8 pm on a weekday is your workout time.
Great gym and personal trainers! Has everything I need to get my workouts in.
I love this location. The only down side is how crowded it gets. The free weight room is entirely TOO SMALL. If youre planning to go after 5 pm on a weekday there will most certainly be a wait on a bench or dumbbells. Also not enough squat racks. Everything else about this gym is awesome. The staff, the cleanliness, and the atomosphere all around is the reason I continue going there. But it would be nice to make certain areas bigger.
Great price for everything that is offered. I love taking the classes. I recommend to everyone looking for a good gym!
Great gym. Jay has been a great trainer!
I use the pool to swim laps and also take a variety of classes. The staff is so helpful and I love how the pool is for lap swimming and classes only, no kids allowed. I am not into weight lifting and I feel as though Im still very welcome.
I never have a bad experience here. It does get busy after 3:30pm during the week, but that is expected. I really enjoy going go this gym. 😊
Ive always been intimidated by the gym scene, but this place makes it easy for me to walk in and out without hesitation and my Personal Trainer Devin, has alot to do with that. Not only is he a pretty cool dude, but over the year Ive trained with him, Ive improved my strength and stability, learned how to properly lift without injuring myself, and most importantly gained alot more confidence in working out all together. The Best part about Devin is, aside from his awesome nutritional advice, hes extremely knowledgeable in injuries, and physical therapy, if i ever feel injured or hurt, he works on those target areas and i immediately feel better. This helps me so much in my confidence to lift heavier knowing i can trust him in proper technique and injury prevention. I can confidently say ill be training here as long as i can. Top Notch Training!!!
Love working out here, the staff is great and the front desk provides top notch customer service.
My husband has been a long-time member of One Life at this particular location for years and I just joined a few months ago. On last week he had his locker broken into that was locked and apparently so did 6 or 7 others as well at the same time. His wallet was taken, money, IDs, and credit cards and this was at 5 in the evening during high gym traffic. How is this even possible? So writing this review to warn others, please do not leave any valueables in your locker or you run the risk of your personal belongings being stolen at this location!!! The only thing the staff did was have him fill out a police report and it was a hassle and inconvenience getting his personal items replaced with the exception of his cash which the culprit now has. He nor I feel safe and well whoever stole his things is still out there. Top customer service wouldve been to offer something on behalf of the gym to all of those individuals affected, but no nothing. My husband works hard and loves working out and the monthly fees arent cheap. This was a true violation!!!! A suggestion would be to have your staff monitor the locker rooms at least!!!
Jay Colston is a great trainer. Five stars
They try to rip you off. I signed up with my husband and son as a family. When I needed to cancel they claimed I couldn’t. Then told me I could freeze. The next month they charged me for my husband and said oh you didn’t freeze his. Really if it all comes from my account and we signed up as a family...how convenient. They give you the run around and lie.
You cant go wrong with this place. Theres plenty of room for you to sit down and text on your phone and pretend like youre working out and taking selfies. Its special.
Zero starts on this place, theres the rudest person on front desk named All, who yelled at me and hang the phone on my twice without even letting me finished a question I had, I ask for the manager and he told me wasnt there when I called the second time he got mad and hung up the phone again !!! Unbelievable its funny how the manager brags about having this All man its a retired police officer and Im like uh? If he is a police officer why is he working in this place for $7 dlls an hour? .... funny fact!
I would not recommend this gym. Large sign up fee for no reason and cancelation is very difficult.
Nice gym. The pool is small. I went to swim laps some ladies were water walking and stiff like that in every lane. Only using a small part of each lane. Maybe having a fast lane medium lane slow and a walker lane could help with pool traffics. Also there was a lot of debris in the poo. (Gum, bandaids hairball, etc)
