Gym Rat Paradise. This Anytime Fitness is heavy on Olympic lifting with a ton of drop plates of all sizes. They are outfitted with Hammer Strength machines and racks, a jungle gym with punching bag and multiple cardio machines. Other noteworthy items is the half step dumbbells like 12.5#s and 17.5#s. Max dumbbell weight is 100#s

Always open always clean. The dumbells could use an update but thats about it

UPDATE: Still filthy and the dumbells still need to be replaced. Lowered from 3 to 1 star. Dont waste your money here, either go to the onelife gym or try the Great Neck location.Been going here for about a month. I like the set up compared to other Anytime Fitness gyms however it is really dirty, like you can visably see piles of dirt and grime everywhere, and the dumbells need to be replaced. The rubber is gone on most of them and the weight is painted on 😂

Gym is absolutely disgusting. Especially in the times we are in currently with Covid, you would think they would be cleaning the gym constantly. I’ve been going here for about a month and have not one tome seen them clean the gym. The floors and equipment are piled high with dust. It’s musty and nasty. The free weights are extreamly limited as well. Switching over to the great neck location today. Heard it is much cleaner. GET IT TOGETHER OCEANFRONT!!!!

Place is great not very busy no matter what time i go, which i like. The only thing i would say is not so great is the showers. The one i went into had no pressure at all. I looked at the shower head and it was disgusting. Other than that love it.

This place is a joke canceled my membership almost 2 weeks before they decided to bill me again for the last time what a joke only one in there once facility was tiny not worth the amount I was paying. You can go to planet fitness and get a membership for $10 I recommend going there before coming here

I walked in as a guest and was simply looking around the gym and for someone that works there to speak with so I could use my free week pass because I’m on vacation. The man walks up to me that was working at the time and immediately comes at me with mad for whatever reason saying, “you’re just going to walk in” and that it’ll be “$10 to workout everyday this week because the gym is for potential members.” As I tried to tell him the situation he wouldn’t hear any of it and made me leave after I had walked a mile from my hotel to come workout for the day.

I started at Anytime Fitness in the Linkhorn Shoppes when Jay first opened. I love that location and go there even though another Anytime Fitness is closer. Great comraderie, friendly owners and always feel Im at my best after a visit to my favorite gym. Cant wait for the reopening!!

Has all the cable machines you could ever ask for, and the weight training equipment is good if theres not many people in. Dont bother getting a trainer though, Im convinced they have no idea what they are doing. If you want to lift during non-peak hours this is a good choice.

I chose this gym because it was convenient, I was surprised how nicely the gym was set up for circuit training. The weight room is excellent, the cardio equipment are always available. The owner is hands on, always willing to help you out with questions and guidance. Plus the price is very reasonable.

This guy is a scam artist. I signed up with him then read his policy and procedures. The next day i came in and cancelled my subscription. I also sent him an email. He said ok and refunded me my starting fee. Two months later unbeknownst to me he started charging me. I did not catch him until quite some time later after he took almost 1,000 from me. My suggestion do not use this place or conduct business with him! Shady Shady Shady!!!! If i could give him zero stars i would!!

Good selection of bumper plates machines you dont normally find nice side workout room and a bunch of machines and the staff is very kind

Love this gym. You can go anytime you want because they give you a key fob. And the price is great!

If you are vacationing in this area and want to work out, then please stay away from this gym. Owner was EXTREMELY RUDE” and came right out and said “he cannot stand tourists that come down here and want to use his gym”. We went five minutes down the road to a friendly, cleaner and much larger gym .. we wound up paying $12 less per person per day and we were six adults. Note to owner... if you don’t want “tourists” using your gym, then state that on your website. This way you don’t waste our time and yours, since it’s clear you don’t like out of town customers using your gym.

Great facility and gym equipment, especially if you enjoy crossfit based workouts, however, a younger girl wearing a anytime fitness t-shirt, not sure if she was staff or not, made the experience absolutely terrible. Very rude and full of herself, nonetheless Ill be sure to pass the word to stay clear of this place to others. It is not like any other Anytime Fitness gym in the VA Beach area. Dont waste your time here, unless youre looking for ways not to run a gym.

Great gym. More explosive training equipment than any other anytime gym. They even have a tire to flip and a place to sprint in the back. This is exactly what I was looking for.

Not bad. Has the bare bones youd expect from a lifting gym, but is full of crossfit style equipment.

Have called and emailed staff at this gym for weeks and can not get a return call. It doesnt require much effort to return a call does it? Im a member and will cancel asap.update: cancelled my membership at the beginning of the year and they kept on charging my bank account May 2017.

This is a great gym at anytime.
