I travel a lot for work to the North East so I try to find a barber I like just for loyalty when I am there. This was my first of many visits to Rich Boyz Barbershop! Beard edge that got done by Luis was on point! Atmosphere inside is also great, lots of joking and having a great time. You can also see they are extremely family oriented as they had toys and snacks for the kids. I am even going to bring them T-Shirts for my company next time because it was such a great experience! I had a cut by Rich himself. He was fast and good. But I was most impressed by how well he handled my 3 year old son. He was awesome at getting my 3 y.o. to buy-in to the haircut most of the time. There wasnt much fussing and no tears. Im bringing my boy back as long as I can.

Just moved from North Carolina to Virginia and before that I was in California, and its been along time since I found someone that knows what theyre doing with some clippers. Went to Rich Boyz for a haircut a little after 1200 on a Sunday and was quickly told there wasnt any room to get a hair cut today as one of the barbers only had one client. I wouldnt recommend this place and do not plan on going back anytime in the future. Didnt seem very friendly or respectful.

Worst cut Ive ever gotten. Barber didnt say a word to me, rough on my head. I asked for no hair to be taken off the top and he took off 2 inches. I have cuts all over my forehead. He didnt even clean me up well. He did a horrible fade on dirty blonde hair, and didnt use alcohol after. Was really rushed, I would go to supercuts before this place. They dont have an ATM and dont take card. They dont tell you that when you go in. He was talking on the phone for half of my haircut.All in all I gave the man a 5$ tip out of respect knowing that these guys live off of tips. But I will not come back, and I surely dont recommend. HINT. This is the first review Ive ever written about any company..

When my family moved from Chesapeake to VA Beach we were in search of a barber for my son. We found Rich Boyz to be welcoming, not just for adult men, but there was a section designated with books & toys for children; the owner Rich, has fit us in on the busiest of days-we found that they even have Sunday hours. Im glad to say that three years later, Rich Boyz is still the place my son gets his cut.

Not only this place makes you feel unwelcome when you a woman, the owner RICH and his other barber would do their very best to put you down and WILL NOT RESPECT YOU AS A CUSTOMER. If you are a man going there, this may not be a case. But this is not a place for woman and little once.I visited this place yesterday with my little one because the barber I know was closed already. While I was there, I commented how cool paintings on the wall looked like. I did not feel welcome being there so just to ease myself a bit, I mentioned this place is really big and a good enough area for martial arts. The owner Rich real name Richards thats what he told me anyway, defensively commented and said; I make more money that the Martial Arts School next door. Well too much for small talks.Unfortunately, it did not stop there. So I turn around and talk to the barber guy and said I dont know why he is offended I was just saying to have a conversation. Unfortunately, the barber was even worst. He was not only saying You are telling the man how to run his business but he was also very sexest The barber was telling me that women must be submissive to the man and suggested it is not the other way around. Anyways, I will edit this review for more detail later so that people have an ideas specially women who are trying to get their little ones haircuts.DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE. The Owner Rich real name Richard and the barber have no respect for women at all. He and whatever the other barbers name will do everything they can to put you down, argue with you even when you suggested to drop the topic already. Which I did.I told Mr. Rich I was just trying to have a conversation and did not come here to argue yet these two man continued to argue.When I was finally done and mentioned, I do not feel welcome here and I am not coming back in hopes that they will stop.Rather than apologizing or at least stop. The barber said its not a lost for us if you do not comeback. We make $1000 a week here and it will not make a difference.

One of the worst barber shops I have ever been to, all they do is cut the sides for like two mins and they r done, I asked him to cut the front of my head and my back of the head a little bit shorter and he just cut it all off; I asked why he did that and most barbers I go to uses sisscors to cut it little bit short and I told him that, and he was like “I ain’t got time to use sisscors to cut ur hair I got appointments. He’s acting like he’s too good or some what. Even tho I set an appointment the day before that and by the time I came he was the only one in the store. He is so bad at cutting hair and that’s how u treat ur costumers? With rush? U are suppose to take ur time and cut ur clients hair. I would recommend going to legacy for a good hair cut and good service.
