My Dad gave me a card to get an oil change for free. I didnt have any money but, I got my oil changed, they did a thorough check over my car and listed the items needing to be addressed and also the prices. They treated me like I was any other customer regardless of what I looked like and drove. I couldnt get anything fixed and they didnt pressure me.

Every experience I have at Casey’s is stellar! Last week I brought in my 2017 Crosstrek for an oil change. After the oil change was completed my technician Mike and service advisor Justin found some filters needing replaced, tire treads getting low, and a bigger repair needed on the CV axle. Their inspection was thorough and had pictures showing why these things were needed, making it feel very transparent and allowing me to make the decision of when to make those repairs. We recently had our head gasket repair done on our diesel truck with Caseys. We are SO happy with the work done, and the professional serviced we received. The repair was a very lengthy project, and we were kept up to date all along the way. Josh was amazing to work with! His knowledge and excellent communication were greatly appreciated! The work we were having completed was expensive, and we were a little stressed about the process. Josh was empathetic, and helped us through our concerns. I appreciate the team at Casey’s. They worked went above and beyond to help us out with our truck and were direct about repairs needed on our other car. Always nervous to take my car somewhere new, but went in for an oil change, it took a bit longer than Id normally expect, but it was worth waiting because I feel like they actually thoroughly inspected my car.I know my (15 year old) car has a few specific issues so I like to use that as a test; they caught all but one issue beating out any other place (including dealerships) that Ive ever taken my car to.Pricing was fair, I didnt feel a massive amount of pressure with upsales (like many places Ive been), parking was a bit wonky and unclear, staff was nice enough. Over all Im very happy with my experience and will recommend and return.

These guys are great. They take the time to explain what they’re doing and patiently answer questions. I always feel like I can trust their recommendations and that they are being honest in their approach.

I took my car here after what seemed to me like the result of a blown transmission. I’m a mechanic as well but was short on time and didn’t have time to take it apart so I dropped it off here to see if they could take it apart and identify the actual cause and they did within 5 hours and let me know it’s going to cost more than it’s worth and that I should seek other places to have the work done. They made the professional decision to not over charge me and recommended a shop that was able to do the work for half their cost. They are a shop that clearly cares about the customer more than the profit.

Great place, their quote over the phone for a serpentine belt replacement was accurate, no hidden fees, and it came with a 3 year parts and labor warranty. The inspection was completed in a timely manner and the results were sent via a link in a text. The link had pictures from the inside of my car and was well documented. During the inspection they found nothing else wrong with my car. I will definitely be returning for future repairs and preventative maintenance. Seems trustworthy!They also had a seating area inside with free WiFi.

In my search for figuring out the issue with my vehicle I stumbled apon a gem of place. Caseys Independent Auto Repair is hands down the best mechanic shop I have ever gone to.Justin is the gentleman who helped me thier and he was kind, professional, and informative. When I go to new unfamiliar places one of my biggest fear is being treat rudely or incompetent because of my lack of knowledge in particular subjects. I didnt have to worry about my fears here. Justin treated me with respect informed me of what all the cost were for the work I was about to get done, and made me feel comfortable to inform him of all my failed attempts to fix my own car so that Caseys can double check my work and really find out what was wrong with my car.When Caseys diagnosed my car Justin called me in the afternoon to inform me of what was wrong with my car and the full inspection of my vehicle. The core issue was discovered and a few maintenance required for my car was also pointed out. Justin respectfully informed me of the importance of the maintenance required for my car and the warranty offered by Caseys after the repairs were done, and the payment plan. In no way was Justin rude or made me feel pressured to get the maintenance done. Our Subaru was a disaster on the inside and out.... muddy dogs in the backs seat and all windows left down during a rain and snow storm left the inside completely flooded. The Casey’s team were able to extract all the mud and water and then completely recondition the inside. They were also able to remove all the algae on the paint. It looks like a brand new car! I was very pleased with the service I received. I was referred to them by Valvoline because they did my oil change but after running a test they couldn’t do the work. They said I would be taken good care of at Casey’s.I was very impressed with how clean it was and how friendly everyone was.I went in told Lucky what I need we made an appointment and I brought it in. They did my A/C and checked a couple of other things I asked them to do. We have 3 vehicles in our family and I guarantee we will be bringing all of our vehicles to Casey’s now. Word of mouth is the best advertisement .I worked for Discount Tires for 27 years in San Diego. Walking into Casey and being greeted the way I was made me feel I was in a Discount Tire store in San Diego. That says a lot to me.I highly recommend them.

This is the first shop I have ever been to that was honest about recommending to not waste money on repairs and consider a new vehicle. Every other shop was always about just making money. Courteous staff. I dealt with Justin. Car broke on Sunday, had it towed to the shop that day on AAA recommendation. Justin called me before they opened on Monday. He went through their process and they did diagnostic. Called in a couple of hours and texted photos of what broke. Already had price of parts and and time frame for completion. The car was done when they said it would be and the quote was the final cost. Cant ask for a better deal than that. Great customer service. I will be going there again as needed. This has by far been my best experience with an auto shop! Up front and honest diagnostics and quotes with none of the scare tactics or talking down to that Ive sadly grown to expect as a woman. Got quite a few things done for way less than what I was quoted for at a franchise. Justin was overall great and even took the extra time to stay a bit late after closing so I could pick up my car before the weekend. Greatly appreciated that he spelled and pronounced my name correctly every time too, which has only happened a handful of times in my life! Definitely coming back here for future repairs!

Zach was such a big help! I brought in my car knowing I was probably due for a timing belt change. I had been quoted from Honda $2400 for just the timing belt and water pump. So of course, I wanted a second opinion. Once my car was inspected, I was given a link to see the inspections done to my car. Everything was laid out and easy to read. Zach answered all my questions and was very professional. The quote received from Casey’s independent auto shop was very reasonable and really could save me $700 and that was with extra services. I will be taking my car there for any of my car maintenances from now on.

They did an excellent job for a very low price, and showed themselves to be remarkably honest and trustworthy. We took our car in on account of what we believed to be an electrical problem, which we thought was causing one of the tail lights to keep burning out. They did an inspection and found that the wiring was fine, the problem having resulted from using the wrong sort of bulbs. While the car was in, they did an oil change for us for a low price. It is an excellent shop!

Zach at Casey’s was quick and helpful getting me a second diagnosis on my diesel Mercedes that was experiencing lack of acceleration. Previously, The dealership said bad engine. I suspected bad turbo that the dealership had replaced in 2019. Zach’s mechanics in 1 day said, yep bad turbo . So I towed it to a 3rd shop a different Mercedes dealership because the first one said Casey’s auto didn’t have ability to correctly diagnose a Mercedes! The third diagnosis confirmed bad turbo and it was replaced under warranty. I’m very grateful to Casey’s automotive for their quick accurate diagnosis . They have my trust and future business.PS. Portland Lithia Mercedes no longer has my business. Any new Mercedes will be purchased from Wilsonville..

Went in for a free brake evaluation. They needed an hour. All good. Also ran a pretty elaborate overview of my trucks fluids and maintenance items. Transmission 4-wheel Drive etc. all done very professionally, with quotes for the needed items and no pressure to get them done there! Refreshing.

I took both my vehicles in for oil changes, using a discount coupon. Caseys provided a thorough safety check on each vehicle. On our lexus they found that the rear break pads were at a point where they should beto replaced. They provided an estimated cost without any pressure to have them do the work. I priced it at a couple other places and although Caseys price was not the cheapest i was impressed with their service and professionalism so chose to have them complete the job.

I wont be going there again. They cant even fix a parking brake let alone anything more serious....like upper and lower ball joints. Steering is way loose and parking brake still doesnt hold. Been back to them twice for each problem and still no good.

We drove cross country from Florida to move here in spring of 2019 and when we arrived, needed an oil change and a few other things taken care of on our custom Jeep. The staff from the get-go was knowledgeable, extremely friendly, and made us feel very comfortable. We also chose to bring our BMW in and their prices are completely reasonable. I was overcharged for a valve gasket Job On my 6 L power stroke. Additionally I got charged $218 for a $33 part. When I called to ask what the deal was they said that they had ordered a whole kit of high end stuff but had forgotten to put the additional portion of the unused kit in my truck. Upon seeing my review I was contacted by the general manager and refunded the entire price of the part!

Casey’s is the best place in town, in my opinion. They are thorough and they tell you up front what’s going on and how much it will be. If anything happens that isn’t just right, they’ll immediately fix it. We won’t go anywhere else!

After $4800 worth of repairs to my husbands chevy blazer, for over heating and replacing the heating core, we brought it home. Within 60 miles the problem was still there, so we took it back in and they told us that now it has a blown head gasket, antifreeze in the oil, a rusty block and that they didnt notice that when they had it torn about the last time. I truly find that hard to believe. There is no way that this much damage has occurred over the last 3 months/60 miles of very light driving. He has gone to the office a few times, never more than 50 mph. They wont admit their wrong, nor will they return any of the money that they took to fix things that probably didnt need fixing. I wouldnt take a bicycle in there to get fixed by these people.

Casey’s was thorough and honest when providing a quote for me. I was treated with respect, which means a lot as a woman who understands mechanics and engines. The check up took some time, but it was worth it. They didn’t try to push me into anything and offered feedback on what would be best for my truck in the future to keep it running at 100%, without spending loads. They offered a first time visitor discount and a car rental to get me home.

Lucky was great a/c was not working they found just low freon no leaks. Also found our brakes were needing replaced but no high pressure sales pitch just gave us the info and let us make the decision. Had car done by the estimated time of completion. Will co tune to use them.

We were very impressed with Independent Auto Repairs ability to diagnose the current problem and tell us what will need to be done in the future and the priorities of what needs done first, along with the cost. Have a 2018 Honda Accord EXL & just had new rims & tires installed, the following day I get low air warning, so, I check my tires & realize front drivers is almost flat. Under the circumstances this is a dire emergency situation & I’m next door to “Casey’s Independent Automotive.” “Zach” was my service writer & quotes me @ $42 to do repair on my tire. Fairly spendy when I can go to Les Schwab right down the street & do for free, but, emergency issue, so, wont chance doing any driving on new rim/flat tire. “Zach” asked if I’d like std diagnostic, &, I agree. I receive text messages on their progress, completion, &, recommendations.I pickup my vehicle & later in the day while driving back from Portland at 205 Mill Plain exit my car makes a HORRENDOUS metal scraping noise as if something is stuck underneath it. I cannot pull over since I’ve just passed 112th so I, carefully, make it home & discover that my skid plate IS HANGING LOOSELY ON THE BOTTOM OF MY CAR!NO ONE else had worked on my car, so, I promptly return the next morning to Casey’s & inform Zach of the issue & he adamantly denies responsibility for my skid plate falling off, but, if I were interested in them doing the work he could give me an estimate of the cost. I asked him while performing their inspection isn’t it true my skid plate would have to be loosened or removed to check for leaks in my oil pan? He denies this & says “only visual inspections are performed & there wouldn’t be any reason to remove or loosen the skid plate since it’s only a visual inspection.” Then he asks me who worked on my car recently since they are more than likely to blame, but, he will confirm with his mechanics when they return from lunch that they never removed my skid plate. This resulted in a phone call shortly from Zach denying anything was removed or loosened on my car.For you information, Zach, I’d already contacted my regular mechanic who is a VERY close personal friend who has worked on all 4 of my vehicles & has great reviews & have never had ANY issues with the work of his team & forwarded all the info & service receipts from Casey’s to confirm that my skid plate would have to be removed to perform the inspection you claimed to have done. Second, after declining Casey’s offer to repair skid plate falling off for a charge I took to Hannah Honda dealership who got it reattached within a half hour & informed me that ALL the fasteners/screws for skid plate were loose or had fallen off. I showed Hannah Honda the same documentation regarding inspections Casey’s provided & they confirmed that there is NO WAY to have done diagnostics that were listed WITHOUT REMOVING THE SKID PLATE & the nicest way they could put it without calling you, Zach, a liar.And, finally, I have a sync up drive in my car & was able to see the test drive taken on my vehicle after tire valve replaced & am utterly furious that your employees would drive a customers vehicle the way my car was driven. It reported that it was driven 43mph on Rosewood Ave which is 30 mph speed zone with a 20mph school zone with 2 incidents of harsh braking & 2 incidents of rapid acceleration either in the parking lot or right next to the school.So, long story, NEVER TRUST WHAT THEY SAY! THEY WILL TREAT YOU & YOUR CAR WITH NO RESPECT!

Justin is great at walking you through what needs to be done, why, and how much time you have before the issue needs to be addressed. They stand behind the work they do - no gimmicks - just solid, honest commitment to doing what is right for the customer.I trust them to keep my car safe and maintained. Took in my used 1999 Cadillac deville to have the battery and alternator replaced and they treated me with such respected and truly cared for me and my car. They even went through and advised me of what else I need to have done to my car but didn’t pressure me into getting those things done now. I will in time get the repairs done that are listed and I will bring my sedan back to Casey’s.Justin was amazing and a really nice guy and a huge asset to Casey’s. They repairs where done on time and at a reasonable price!
