Prior to my interaction with IDM (parent company)! I had never even been late with a rental payment. I moved in to an ADA apartment in February 2016. The manager, Jodi was very nice. My health slowly deteriorated through the months until I was hospitalized from the end of June through the beginning of August. During my hospitalization, I was unable to address any financial obligations. At the beginning of July, the manager knew I was in hospital and I would miss that months rental payment until I was out of the hospital. The head administrator for IDM, delivered a three-day notice to evict to my apartment while I was in the hospital. (Apparently this is legal in WA!) The hearing occurred later in July for which I was unable to attend because I was still hospitalized. The writ of restitution was signed two days before I was discharged from the hospital. At no point did I have any form of representation for the hearing. I think its pretty bad when a company takes advantage of someone who is ill in order to make some money. There was NO compassion demonstrated during this time. Now, I not only have a freshly minted eviction on my record, but a bill for close to $4K.My suggestion is to stay away from any IDM properties. The administration of this company cares nothing for you and will put you out on the street without hesitation.
