Management and maintenance staff are top notch. Very dog friendly and staff treats tenants like family. I live here and love it.

Been living here for about over 3 months now, absolutely love it. Granted, its downtown so you will hear noise every now and then. Not the propertys fault. Simply, its down town living. & love it!! Courtyard is usually peaceful & spacious. Smells good & sanitary, gym is clean, overall a great place. Our laundry can be a problematic at times, but mechanics are good at responding.

RiverWest is simply the best! I’ve lived in four different complexes in my lifetime and this is by far the best community. Management is friendly, keeps the community clean and maintenance is extremely responsive. Plus, it’s so fun living on the waterfront!

So far, the experience has been amazing!Jeff kept the tour & the entire process of signing the lease professional, easy, and positive.Maintenance team is very responsive and quick.I havent had any problems with the neighbors, as they all seem to be nice and welcoming.All in all, I cant think of anything I can complain about!

Jeff is amazing, wonderful, positive and professional! I toured the property a month ago and Jeff did a great job explaining all of the amazing amenities and the property location could not be better!I signed a lease recently and again, Jeff made the entire process simple and seamless. Im still considering all my options, but out of all the apartments I looked at all have the same basic layout and amenities. RiverWest has a unique features from its finishes to its door system. But what stood out to me more then all of that was Jeff and his positive, no pressure vibe. I felt terrible taking up all his time, when it seemed he was the only one on staff. He helped me and helped residents at the same time and provided the same attention to each person he interacted with. The residents I met all seemed to be happy to see him as well and spoke highly of him and the building.I dont do reviews, but out of the dozens apartments I have viewed he definitely makes the difference. I just want to make sure that someone notices his work when no one else seemed to be around.Possible Future Resident

So far the experience has been great! Staff is 10/10. The apartment feels and even smells brand new! Great layouts and views. Cabinets, floors, laundry and bathrooms are brand spanking new and have a great feel to them. Amenities are exactly what you need. Tons of places to eat and have a drink right outside the front door. The tenants are friendly and there is a sense of community in this new and upcoming area.If you are in the area look no further. I checked out the building next door and within 10 minutes turned around and began the application process with RiverWest.

Riverwest is a fantastic place to live! Modern building from 2019, with modern features like smart locks. Its also located right along the Columbia river, in a very walk friendly part of Vancouver. Jeff on the management team has made the move in experience very easy and pleasant. Hes always very friendly and listens to your concerns/helps solve any problems you might run into. Im really glad I made the choice to move here!

After spending my entire life in the same house I decided I needed to try something different. I had been looking at this building and the waterfront area since they first started construction and it just seemed if I was going to try something new it should be here with a beautiful river view. Im pretty sure I couldnt have made a better choice and I havent once questioned my decision to move here. Carrie, Marisol, Jeff, Larry and James have been awesome. They put up with me and my neverending list of questions and never once did I feel like they were getting sick and tired of me doing so. I have been here a month and they have continued to be so helpful.One last thing I should mention is how quite this place is. The one thing I was worried about since I had never lived an apartment was noise from above and next to me. For the most part I would never even know I had neighbors.Bottom line is I love it here.

I did a self guided toured of this building in July and really liked the property and unit layout however, upon completing my tour I returned to the leasing office as I had questions and wanted to fill out an application. I stood in the office for well over 3 minutes waiting to be acknowledged, when I finally was I was told that I could not be there and was quickly shown out. Now standing awkwardly in the lobby I started to ask my questions regarding utilities, parking etc. etc. The women (I cant remember her name) seemed agitated and annoyed by my inquires, gave quick, one word answers and was more concerned with me being able to prove my income rather than answer my questions. It was extremely uncomfortable and honestly, a little insulting as it seemed like this women was judging me and had already decided that she didnt want to deal with me.This was enough for me to not look into this building any further. I moved in next door at Rediviva instead.

Avoid. Run by Avenue 5 which is a horrible property management company. Unprofessional manager and staff. I attempted renting here in April relocating from Seattle. Before paying the mandatory deposit of $500, called to ask refund period if unsuccessful locating a moving company because of pandemic. The actual Property Manager told me Wait to complete app until finding a mover. No one is renting right now State law is 48 hours to withdraw application but I did not realize that at the time. I called around all day and got a company to move that day and went back to complete application early the next morning. Apartment was rented. I was furious. Called multiple times and got zero response and no apology for the extremely unprofessional staff. Found another place and realized I dodged a bullet. I have a great apartment in a building with a local management company that doesnt have fees for breathing. The most laughable moment was getting a follow up call from Ave 5 approximately 3 months after I moved here, asking if I was still interested in renting. #clueless

These are described as luxury apartments. This is partially true, as the rent cost is luxurious, but in reality the overall experience isnt luxurious.A several factors for the two star rating. Its not awful, but its certainly not ideal.Location: Pro: Close to freeways and right in Downtown Vancouver. Dreamy location with beautiful river front views. Con: During COVID-19, every evening there are loud motorcycles revving their engines and wont leave. Nothing has been done for months. If you like loud car noise in the evening, this might be the place for you.Staff: Pro: Maintenance staff is amazing and do care about the people that live here. However, its obvious that they are not given enough resources to succeed. Con: Back office non-management staff: Strong defenders of mediocrity in non-management staffing. Not going to mention names as staff attrition rate is high and it will be irrelevant who is mentioned in a month or two from now. Non-management staff does an excellent job with hiding their incompetence and with a smile. Nothing wrong with this as long as you do not have difficult questions or topics to discuss with staff. Please research Avenue 5, LLC for various reviews.Facilities/Common Spaces: Pro: LEED certified. Con: This is not a well built-building, as there are no concrete between floors on 3-7: you will hear every foot step from your neighbors above. When asked about noise during the tour, was told that the structure was well built and quiet. During wildfires, smoke smell lingered in hallways, and was told that air filtration was fine. However, between the smell and bad air quality symptoms (worse than when I was outside), the lack of competence in staff shines once again. They might have good filtration, but air recirculation does not appear to be present in hallways.Apartment Unit: Pro: nice new appliances. Con: Dryer several hours to dry.Unit amenities: Pro: There is a grill, a clubhouse, a courtyard, and a gym. Amazon Locker is secure and nice.

I am very happy to have found this community, when I was looking for a new place, I checked a number of places in the area but nowhere compared to that. The staff is very kind and professional and always willing to help in any matter. The place itself is maintained to the highest standard and the entire area is simply stunning.

I appreciate the thoughtfulness of the staff, and Jeff in particular. I really wanted Riverwest to be closer in price with other apartments, because the home and community is as beautiful as much as the staff. other places like Vancouver Plaza, Heros place, Uptown, and the other one on the waterfront are little bit cheaper and offered free parking with a minimum lease term. I did ask, if they could match or at least reduce parking fee due to the competition offers and price. There was no room for negotiation unfortunately. The staff had no control over that. It seems Riverwest isnt for me.

I am currently a resident of Riverwest Apt of only 6 months.Enough to have developed a firm consistent picture of staff, amenities, and most important consistency of service and value. Anyone can act friendly or put on a show for a little while.This is an Outstanding place to call home due to:1.) Quality of amenities: The maintenance staff is the best Ive seen. They maintain and take great of the community. Showing pride of work. Tough underappreciated job. And Im a landlord, so I know the importance of this. Analogy, own an expensive car, always in the shop is bad. This is a nice car (team and location) you can depend on2.) Location: 4 wine tasting, a sports bar, three quality restaurants with more to come, and a park all within a block of the front door. Come and visit, see for yourself. Oh, and there is a body of water across the street! Great view, walk, run trail during these trying times. Bottom line. Love where you live.3.) Staff. In particular Marisol, James, and Larry. They are really the glue that holds this all together. Marisol was outstanding from the word go, as she showed me the property, did a walk around, identifying all my needs (she LISTENED well) making my decision easy to pick. Bottom line: Great people skills and pride of ownership among the team (staff).In summary as shared from the start, consistency of performance and service is key. Marisol in particular and the maintenance team is the best Ive seen. Lived in Newport Beach to Seattle, tough competitive markets, the staff service here is top shelf.This is a credit to the management team to hire such a great team. Team dynamics is extremely important and the team in place here, matched with the location on the river and the amenities from the grill to the Peleton machine is truly a cut above for any Vancouver complex. Best in town!Give this place a look and see for yourself. Why not?

Jack L. was great. Be warned, however, about what you will be getting into with Avenue5 Residential as a management company. Do yourself a favor and check the reviews for Avenue5 itself, not just this complex. If you proceed, pray that you never have the misfortune of dealing with soulless individuals such as Kevin P.

We were fortunate enough to be one of the first residents to sign a lease at Riverwest. The leasing office hadnt even opened yet when we wanted to tour the units and Kari met us and gave us a hard hat tour of the property and answered all the questions we had. Kari has gone above and beyond throughout our stay here at Riverwest. We have had many questions regarding the building, the area, maintenance, etc. and she has always helped us with any of our concerns very quickly and thoroughly. She has never made us feel as though we were inconveniencing her, even when when we made mistakes such as not understanding how the rent payment system worked for the first few months. Both her and Jack have been extremely patient in showing me step by step how to use this system... and even re-explained this and other things that were new to me and my husband at this property. Kari always makes herself available when we ask to speak with her, despite being busy running this building and showing equal respect and attentiveness to other tenants. I often deal with Jack on a one on one basis as well. He is very knowledgeable, prompt in responding to my questions and patient as well. It is really nice to have a team in the office like them in case either me or my husband have any concerns. It makes a big difference having people with this level of professionalism when moving to a new city and a new location... it takes away a lot of stress knowing that they are there to help and that the building is going to be run well and safely. I also wanted to say that Larry and the rest of the maintenance team have been an incredible help since we arrived here. We had a few issues with appliances and a couple of small things that needed repair due to some material defects in our unit. He has fixed all of these issues promptly, always responding to maintenance requests the same day I make them. His positive attitude and high level of workmanship is greatly appreciated. I trust both Larry and his team to enter our unit and make repairs even if we are away from home because they have demonstrated their professionalism, care for our property and excellent work. Overall I am very happy here at Riverwest. The property has always clean and secure... This is a direct result of the work that this team puts in on a daily basis. Living in close proximity to other residents in an apartment building during the current Covid-19 pandemic could be very unpleasant. However, Kari (with the help of her office and the maintenance team) is doing an excellent job of keeping the building clean, sanitized, organized with excellent communication via email about new information regarding the situation. I would recommend this property to any of my friends or family looking to rent in the Vancouver area.

I feel like Eloise living in the Vancouver version of The Plaza! The residence team, the beauty of the riverfront property and the energy of downtown is an amazing combination.

I moved into Riverwest Apartments about a month ago, and I have enjoyed my time here. The management has played a huge part in my easy transition from the east coast. Jack, Kari and Mylia have helped to make the move-in process as easy as possible. They answer all questions and requests promptly, and anticipate your needs. They have also organized activities for the residents (all ages and walks of life) to become acquainted with one another, and to feel like a communityThe location of this apartment was my biggest draw. It is directly on the Columbia River, and there are many shops, restaurants and wineries within walking distance. Esther Short Park, movie theaters, and the library are only a few blocks away, and offer great entertainment. There is easy access to freeways and bridges across to Portland.I feel lucky to have found Riverwest Apartments.

The appliances are NOT staneless steel, magnets dont stick.Appliances are aluminium with a brushed steel finish. Pay close attention to wordplay & reality. I was also told the dryer flushes its own lint using the waste water tube like a washer... Instead there are infact 2 lint traps to empty rather than just 1.In addition to the cabinets, crooked/missing doors (my master bedroom has no door on it or the closet just the bath) & tile/drywall work the appliances were not at all made to a quality normally associated with luxury apartments.Other than that, what a great place to live!
