The technicians are very friendly and do a good job most of the time. Ive read other reviews on here about Wolfers where people recently reported how nice it was that they got help on the phone for frozen condensate lines. That is nice, but heres the issue: if the condensate line froze and Wolfers did the installation (as happened to my neighbor), then this is their mistake and they should be covering the costs. Wolfers doesnt see it this way, which is wrong. Each interaction that I have with them makes me question their company customer service and pushes me from using them again. I just get the feeling that I am being taken advantage of each time. I only gave them a 3 out of 5 because the technicians do a pretty good job typically. Management needs to stop making customers feel taken advantage of.
My sink was clogged and it was not fixed after $350. Wish at least let me know if this is something they cant fix or what could be additional service and cost. Person who worked on my sink said it might drain slowly but shouldnt take two days. I emailed company and company never respond. Some said this is what I need to pay the price to know how to find the good and bad company but if company respond to my email, it wouldnt be this bad.
Sean S. came to save the day! He was very professional and courteous. He was able to give us the advice we needed and saved us $$$!Thank you again Sean.
After calling for service on our mini split on Monday October 26th, they arrived on Thursday. Problem not fixed, needed a part. Didnt return until the following Thursday. Problem still not resolved. Getting a whole new unit as soon as possible. Called today, November 10th, 15 days after initial call, and the part is sitting there. I received no update and had to call them. Would not commit to anything before the 17th of Nov. By the way that appointment was to be a annual maintenance on the mini split and was to be canceled when they ordered the new unit. Sure glad we arent in a real cold spell, wed be Popsicles by now.
I had Wolfens Home Service come out to service my EcoWater Water Softener system. Ryan came out to the house and did an excellent job. He made some changes to the system and made it run more efficiently and cleaned up some tubing and wire to make it a cleaner look. He also replaced some tubing because it wasnt up to his standard because he actually use to work for EcoWater as a service technician so he knows the ins and outs of the machine. He also gave out some pointers on properly maintaining the system to minimize service calls. i will certainly use them in the future.
We started with central air installation. A new furnace came next, a few years later. We also purchased an air filter and purification system at that time. The air cleaner is the best! The house dust became history overnight and this thing purifies the air- even something as small as covid-19. kills ozone. Wolfers has been there for us- when our furnace quit, our new one was installed in 2 days!!
They literally doubled the quote for service in30 minutes because I had’t signed up for yearly prepaid service! Stunning in this economy. I went elsewhere.
Great company. They were got to my house quick, fixed my garbage disposal and left everything the way they found it. Big fan!
Called today and was advised that they are booking into February 2021.
Incompetent TechniciansWe had a brand new system installed in February 2017. The top of the line Lennox, heatpump and electric furnace. Cost: around $20,000.Installers are very friendly, take good care of your home and work very hard. They are also eager that you post a positive review immediately. Which I did.In the summer of 2017, the system was dripping water. Constantly. We constantly had to call to schedule service. Eventually the fourth technician found out that there was a missing piece. Something three installers had failed to detect. A deflector shield for water condensation. The system has never been able to cool down the house (they sized it) properly in the summers. It will sit and try to cool and cool, and temp never goes below 72 degrees in the house. Yes, windows and doors are closed :)March 2018, system shuts down and is no longer working. I once again call Wolfers. This time there is a charge for the service! Labor warranty expired. Turns out that a wire was not installed properly and had shaken loose. System is just a little over a year old. Yet, they wouldnt cover this under the warranty. In Winter 2018/2019 the system starts blowing fuses. Im still troubleshooting this one. Today I open it myself and find two wires that are rattling around and are making contact. I separate them, place some electrical tape, replace the fuse and restart the system. The jury is still out on this one, but were not calling Wolfers anymore. System is only 2 years old. $20,000 invested and Im still having headaches. The cabinet doors to the furnace and control board is improperly position. The technician hacked around this by making the screw hole larger and wedged it in using a screw driver. I can still see the marks. I had to do the same today when I closed it. Again, incorrect install. There are two other Lennox recommended dealerships in Vancouver, WA. I suggest you turn to those.Wolfers may have one or two technicians that actually know what they are doing, care and try to do their best. Chances you get one of them is apparently 1 in 4, since thats how many technicians it took to get one single problem fixed here.
