Avoid this company at all costs. Started with 6 weeks out for an appointment. Several reminders as the repair date approached (good). On the day first text was tech would show up 8:45 - 9:30. That time passed and the next text said 10:30 - noon. That time passed too without a tech showing up. We called, oh the tech got caught up in a difficult repair, he will be there soon. Next text said 2:30 - 4pm. No show again. Another call, oh your tech was out sick today. I do not appreciate being lied to. We got a new text message saying our appointment was being rescheduled 6 more weeks out. I rest my case, find a local hungry tech to do your repairs. Sears of old is gone and what remains does not deserve your business.
I called to schedule the repair several times. The phone system was horrible. The washer was under warranty. I was sent back to the beginning to schedule with installations. When I reached installations, I was sent back to the beginning to schedule with repair. My daughter got through to repair and scheduled the appointment. I received an email that the part I needed was on back order and they didnt know when the manufacturer was making the part. I cancelled the repair appointment. Later the part arrived. I tried to reschedule the repair, but each time I mentioned the washer was under warranty, I was told I would not be charged, but that they could not schedule the repair because the system was down. This occurred 2x over 3 weeks. Finally I called again and emphasized that I had part to be installed (and did mention the warranty too). I was scheduled for repair, but I was charged because of the way it was scheduled. So apparently, if you dont emphasize that the washer is under warranty, you get scheduled for repair and have to pay out of pocket. But if you emphasize the warranty and they determine free repair (again), the system is down and the repair cant be scheduled.
Teriyaki chicken was very dry, rice was not fresh, teriyaki sauce as thin as water. Not impressed. Food was awesome when they were located on Walker Rd. I guess as your business grows your quality goes downhill.
Although my repair person was professional and on time - he created a problem and just left it. A & E pulled out my dishwasher to replace the electronic board. In the process the drain line disconnected. The person asked me for a towel because he had leaked water on the floor - however he sopped up the water on the floor leaving the cause of the problem - the drain line. Later when I went to run a load, water ran all over the inside of cabinet and onto my hardwood floors. When I called to have them come back out - they wouldnt deal with me because the repair was through home warranty. A&E should have sent someone out immediately to correct the problem. Because I have to go back through my home warranty company - A&E wont be back to fix the problem they created for 2 weeks. This is unacceptable!!!!!! DONT USE THESE GUYS!!!!!
I had a service order for both my washer and dryer. Dryer was fixed at first appointment Washing machine needed parts which still have not arrived months later. I was told Id be receiving a new washing machine voucher but then was told by someone else I had to wait for parts. I just called to get yet another update on my parts and my work order is completely gone! I will never purchase a repair agreement from sears again.
We have used Sears many years in Missouri. We moved to Washington and needed fridge repair so called Sears, which is outsourced. The tech came ordered part took 1/2 down and made appointment two weeks out. Day of appointment he called to confirm that afternoon. Then at 4 pm we got text saying rescheduling for 2 1/2 weeks later. We had defrosted our fridge as asked to do. We could get no one on Friday night to respond. We kept getting transferred. We will no longer use Sears but companys locally. Sears now outsourcses all customer service calls over seas.
The first Technician arrived on time as expected and quickly determined the problem with our dryer. It was an uncommon issue and the part had to be ordered and an install date reserved. The part was shipped directly to us and arrived on the day expected. The second Technician arrived on the day and at the time reserved. He made the repair in a timely fashion and the dryer was functional once again. All in all, both gentlemen were very professional and proficient in performing this service.
The repairman responded immediately, diagnosed the problem quickly and replaced the compressor quickly before the refrigerator warmed up to spoil food. Wow!!
They didnt service our ice machine.
Great place, great service.
Where to begin, we first contacted Sears in early may about our washer not working-we had purchased the extended warranty-fast forward to August 14th, after many calls, I am still “waiting on a part” for them to fix my washer-They misdiagnosed 2 times- am over it-We bought a new washer- and am still waiting for them to come or call to fix my washer -I would give 0 stars if I could
Tech had his mask on below his nose whole time (I even asked him to put it on properly). He did NOTHING except tell me to unplug the fridge for 3 days. I had taken part of it apart for him to make it easier and he didnt even put it back together for me. Will never use Sears service again.
Buyer beware! Sears Home Services charges $50/mo. and contracts with Sharper Services in my area, which is Vancouver, WA. The guy came out, spent 10 minutes, and fixed nothing. My refrigerator is leaking water from the dispenser. The only thing he did was to remove the water filter and put it back in. The problem is not fixed and I will be cancelling this service. I would rather pay extra to have a competent repair person into my home. The guy also did not wear gloves and wore a flimsy mask. I am very disappointed in Sears Appliance Repair.
Never, I repeat never deal with the Sears appliance warranty. Been trying since SEPT to get them to honor mine on a dishwasher they cannot fix. Supposed to replace. NO progress just an endless runaround. Dont know what to do at this point.
My experience was excellent with the tech. He was nice, friendly and professional. Even though I have a 5 year service agreement they asked me to try and fic it twice. They are hard to get a hold of...
Super reps. Excellent honest masks are required. These guys have a lot on there plates. Yet your the priority when they arrive and when they leave you feel confident the job is done right. Thanks to all of them in such a crazy time 🙏🙏🙏👍👍🤗
The technician was very helpful. Although, He only ran the diagnostics but did not place the washer under loaded condition to see whether or not the motor could handle the extra strain. During normal operation, the washer had a burning smell while spinning out a sizable load of clothes.
Finally after 4 failed appointments to have my refrigerators repaired James E. arrived at 3:00 pm. for an 0800 - 1200 service appointment. Once here he diagnosed the problem, a burnt out circuit board on my Whirlpool ice maker and checked my Kenmore garage refrigerator. He told me Id put bags to close to the fan air intake, blocking it. He ran the Kenmore ice maker through a cycle and said it was operating normally. I have a return appointment for January 4, 2020 to install a replace Whirlpool circuit board. I hope James E. is the technician who will do the installation. Sears has great service technicians who are knowledgeable and informative. I always request a Sears repairman/woman because of quality service they provide. Its their scheduling department I have complaints about.
I wouldnt know they stalled me for another month.
My washing machine - purchased new 7 months ago - began leaking, so I contacted Sears Home Services. The only negative parts of the experience were the hold time on the phone and then the wait before a repair guy was available during a time that worked for me... but to be fair my schedule is a bit tricky, so thats not exactly their fault. The service rep I spoke with on the phone was very patient and polite, even though I may have been a bit short with him (my bad... I was super stressed due to the water all over the floor - sorry, friendly phone guy). He was very calm and helpful and set me up with a repair guy. He also sent me a text confirming our conversation and the scheduled appointment.I got a reminder text a few days before the repair guy was scheduled to come out, and the day of him coming out the repair guy called me a few hours in advance to make sure I was ready for him to be there. The repair guy was very polite, friendly, and helpful. He thoroughly inspected the washer and tightened up whatever it was that was wrong with it (he did explain it to me, but I dont remember what it was... Im not exactly mechanically inclined). He fixed the washer and its been working just fine since.Very friendly, helpful service from Sears - thank you!
We had someone come in to fix our fridge and the soonest someone could come was two weeks out; they showed up and shortly after they left the fridge was broken again, this time making zero noise where before it would work when it felt like it. I called immediately and despite the fact the repair was not successful they refused to send anyone back out to fix it for another 2 weeks. I was transferred 4 times to people who didnt understand why I was transferred to them just to find out I had to wait another 2 weeks to have a working fridge and even called my techs number from the previous repair and that number then transferred me to some random teller. Never again. Im just going to buy a new fridge.
Thanks for the repair. Good job. Tech explained repair.
They came out to repair the fridge and didnt. They returned a week later and the fridge is still not fixed.
We recently had a technician come to our house to fix our riding mower. I dont know his name, but he was GREAT! He easily found the problem. He fixed it and gave our mower a complete tune-up. He offered great advice and was very friendly and helpful. A very pleasant experience. We will not hesitate to use this service the next time.
The service provided by the technician was excellent. It didnt seem as thorough as I was expecting, but he did take care of some minor issues. The tech was very personable and did his best at assuring I was satisfied. On the other hand, the scheduling system that Sears uses to set up appointments was a nightmare. Nothing positive can be said about the scheduling/ Its convoluted, at best!
Our appliance was only a year old, so this was a maintenance check only. The service guy arrived with plenty of advance notice, and was pleasant. He checked everything out and gave us a verbal report (all was great). The only negative thing was that my husband wished the service guy had left us a print out of the items he checked or e-mailed it to us, for our records. But other than that, all was good.
Never been here. Didnt even know that Sears existed anymore.
My experience was extremely poor! I was told repairs to my washer and dryer would cost over $1000.00 I was also told if I purchase a warranty they would only charge me half for the service. I ended up purchasing the warranty and paid for all parts, services and the warranty in full at the diagnostic appointment. When the service technician showed up, she said I had a ~$100.00 balance owing. Now why would I pay for the service, parts and a full 1 year warranty leaving a balance? I wouldnt!!! But she refused to do the repair until I paid up. 2 days after the dryer repairs were complete (Replacing the computer controller in the dryer) I got the same error on my dryer and it wouldnt work. I strongly suspect the issue was an inexpensive sensor and not the ~$700.00 computer controller. They are coming out again to repair again. I feel I was scammed and received extremely poor service. Sears has completely lost my respect and future business.
Giving 4 stars instead of 5 because I called and reported the front seal leaking on the washer, but when the first repair person came, he did not have a seal and thought he was just here for a yearly cleaning. Sears then had the front seal sent to our home and the 2nd repair man came and installed the seal and adjusted the door. He was very professional and did a great job and the seal is now water tight. They were here when they said they were going to be and called first as we requested. All in all very good service.
There was no problem with the repair service. There were problems with the call service personnel understanding my request, scheduling an appointment, understanding the repair need and then correctly scheduling the date of repair. I received 2 emails re appointment scheduled with 2 different dates of service. When the tech arrived for appoint and did maintenance the repair order did not indicate that this was covered under protection agreement.I have been a long time customer and have never experienced this kind of customer service re accurate schedule of repairs.Thank You
The repair person was very friendly and helpful, courteous and efficient. Our only complaint is that the packing materials for the parts he installed were not hauled away - and they were large (new gaskets for the fridge doors). We wouldve liked this to be included in the service, as all other repair service people have done.
The serviceman affirmed his role was to monitor and advise, not to fix. That led to some interesting, even valuable discussion, but not the result I had been hoping for. I had to go elsewhere to achieve the fix, which was correcting a poorly working vent for my clothes dryer.
Absolutely terrible customer service experience. Process took 6-8 weeks to complete simple fix of replacing deck belt. Amazing customer services experience included (a) 8-10 different calls with customer service line with not a single one of them ending with anything I can even remotely say was a helpful (b) service tech showing up without deck belt to fix tractor, (c) a no-show no call on another appointment (d) another appointment changing days without notifying me.Finally got owners of my local Sears store involved and thankfully they were able to get the mess resolved quickly.Tech that replaced belt did a great job not only fixing but showing me a few tricks to be more self sufficient.
The repair man very nice. Frig is going to dump as costs too much to fix. Only less than 2 years old and freezer and ice maker quit. Never will buy another Kenmore product .
Technician was friendly and super helpful. I had NO idea my dryer needs to be checked annually for fire safety. So glad I had it checked, it was full of lint in places we never could have gotten to. Great service!
5-30-19 #40943587--discussed other problems w/unit,Re:hot start prob.--also mower deck sometime would not engage when warm. Mathews answer wassometimes they just do that. He left without checking anything else. Made 2nd appoint. for 5-31-19#40948151Joshua checked the elect. system, determined a bad regulator. 6-10-19/Josh came back to install regulator. My unit is now working correctly.1(one) star for Mathew D. (he did install mower deck wiring harness)6(six) stars for Joshua, He knows his work well.(good people person)Regards, Richard Kelley
Carl is a Expert technician, and a pleasure to meet. His years of experience and knowledge of the product clearly was represented on his visit to our home. Carl was able to accomplish what 2 previous technicians could not do, he repaired our ice maker in our new Kenmore refrigerator. Keep up the great work Carl, you are defiantly a asset to Sears Appliance repair.
The service technician was top notch. He explained everything along the way. The refrigerator was not repairable, and he explained the process of replacing it, and we were very happy with his service and with Sears for taking care of us.The follow up however, is not good. It has been 2 weeks since the tech was at our house, and we have not heard back from Sears regarding replacing the refrigerator.
My dishwasher needed repair and he went out of his way to get the part and come repair my dishwasher before Thanksgiving . I really really appreciated that!! He is professional, personable, and does a great job of explaining things. Sears should be proud to have such a great representative for their company.
We purchased preventive check-ups on 5 appliances and were very happy to have a very professional, knowledgeable technician checking out our washer/dryer (8 yrs old), refrigerator (10 yrs old), freezer (10 yrs old), and our dishwasher (14 yrs old - yes, its really still working fine!). He let us know there was a product out there to put in the dishwasher and another one for the clothes washer to clean them and also what product to buy to make the glides on the bottom freezer move smoother. It also helps to know there isnt anything imminently wrong with any of the appliances to cause me to have to purchase one right away. Considering their ages, that could happen any time, so I have some peace of mind at least for now!
Friendly service...quick diagnostics and had washer repair done in minutes.
Poor service. Doesnt show up during window not did they call to inform. Had to come twice just to fix. First for diagnostic they didnt even open the appliance. Charged over 116 dollars for less than 2 hrs of work. And 109 for not opening dryer for diagnostic test. Terrible terrible service.
Im very happy with Sears appliance repair and warenty. I only took 1 star away as it took a whole month for them to come out due to weather. Nonetheless, my repair person looked into what was going on, looked up my error code and came prepared with the proper parts. He was knowledgeable, professional and quick. my warranties have all paid for themselves.
I signed in and got an appointment the NEXT DAY! The tech came early, was efficient and knowledgeable. He called colleagues for advice but fixed my down-draft fan correctly and in good time. I would recommend this service to any who was looking for help
The gentleman who came out and fixed my dryer was wonderful. He showed me exactly what was wrong and then replaced the parts and didnt talk to me like a stupid woman like some companies do. I was very pleased with the service and my dryer is working wonderful!
The fix was not really a repair but removal of a small spray nozzle from the pump I believe. Dishes were not getting clean. Do not know how it could have gotten in there, openings seem too small. 4 stars because the repairman found it right away and was helpful with other tips, not 5 stars because I feel the design of the dishwasher should have prevented this on its own.
Phil came for our annual stove and refrigerator inspection. What a nice guy. Very professional and knew what he was doing. He set the clock on the stove (not intuitive at all) and showed me how to remove shelves in the frig. He went beyond the call of duty vacuuming behind my frig. Thanks so much.
James was very a helpful and recommending and fixing my problem with the washing machine. Scheduling wasn’t a problem at all like one person said, I was able to get him the very next day! Glad i have this service.
The service tech that came to check our refridgerator, was on time, very polite and was very good at explaining things to us. Even though he didnt fix anything because we needed a refridgerator tech, he gave us great info and set up an appointment for the fridge tech.
A seven year old washer should have been replaced by you with me adding a $100 or so to get a new one. The amount you paid for labor and the new drum, etc. could have been applied to a new one and I would have paid up to any amount to have a new one as I already said. Next time for any customer with a washer of that age or older, call the customer and give them options--good idea?
The service technician was timely, courteous and knowledgeable about the machine. Only concerns are that i requested a receipt for the paid service & did not receive one. Also, afterward I was quoted a price before showing him the 20% off coupon and the price did not change after applying the coupon.
Excellent service. The repairman arrived on schedule. Quickly diagnosed the problem, being a broken drive coupler. He had the repair part on hand and installed it, all within a span of about 20 minutes. The cost was steep but we are glad to have our washer back in service.
Service was excellent even though we live 45 miles out from a major city in a rural community- within 4 days we had word no repair parts were available with our almost 20 year old stack Kenmore washer. SInce we had purchased a maintenance/repair contract, and prior repairs had always been possible, within 7 days we had a brand new more energy efficient 27 Kenmore washer installed -- total cost to us was only $60!!!! Would definitely recommend Sears and their maintenance/repair contract as top quality and worth the cost.
Technician arrived in window of time scheduled. Repair was a simple reboot. Tech explained what he had done and charges for this service. This was a very positive experience. Two years ago not so much. On a washer under service plan I needed to have at least ten tech visits until last one deemed my washer unable to repair. I did get a new washer but it took almost two months and lots of money spent at launderette. Also one technician tore my vinyl flooring, glued it and covered with my bathroom rug. Sears insurance did pay for flooring, but it would have been nice to know at the time it happened, not try to hide it.
I contacted Sears in mid-March that my heat pump was not working properly. A tech came out on Mar 18, 2017 and diagnosed the problem to be the compressor. He ordered a replacement with an ETA of 7-10 days. The scheduled repair was delayed until March 31 because the part did not arrive. On March 31 the compressor was replaced but the unit still did not operate properly. Another part was ordered with an ETA of April 7. Again, I was notified that the part did not arrive and the repair was rescheduled for April 9. On April 9, the tech replaced the part without successfully getting the unit to operate properly. On April 10, the tech returned with a senior tech and repaired the unit.I do not have any complaints with the Technician, but the time required to get parts for an essential piece of equipment is unsatisfactory. During this downtime, I had to use expensive electric furnace backup to heat my home.
Service was excellent and we had our dryer repaired at a reasonable price. The service person was very professional and helpful. Thanks!
I have always been extremely satisfied with Sears Home Services. You schedule an appointment and they call you the day before to remind you of appt. and then they call letting you know that your technician is on the way. The Technician that has always come to my house to repair maytag washer has always been courteous, professional and very informative. I wanted to write a letter letting someone know how happy I am with Sears and their Home Repair and what an excellent Technician they employed. I cant remember his name but his number is: 0770933. I will always buy from Sears and recommend to friends & family as well. Thank you Sears for providing excellent customer service and great products. I would have given you 10 stars but only 5 were available. I remain your loyal customer. Sincerely, Barbara G.
Frist available appoint was 3 weeks, this is not good when you have a refrigerator not working. Then the repair window was 1pm to 5pm, then a text saying repair window changed to 5pm to 7:30pm. Then when repairman looked at it and said he runs into this problem often and was pretty sure he knew what it was. He then took the freezer shelves out, fan out and the walls to conferm the problem and apparently it was what he thought. Repairman said hed order the part and schedule repairs in 3 more weeks. I told him Id defrost the freezer and plug it back in so we could use it until it froze up again and then defrost it again until he returned which he agreed would work. When it defrosted I plugged it in and the fan made all kinds of noise, I removed the freezer walls to find the fan wires routed incorrectly across the fan, the freezer walls were not snapped in place, the shelves were not reinstalled. The water from the cooling unit in the freezer had filled the drain pan and had not been removed. I called Sears repair number that was provided and asked if I could get an appointment sooner than 3 weeks, the person said that was the earliest they had and that it was good I called as no appointment had been scheduled by the repairman. If this problem is common you would think parts would be in stock on the repair truck and 6 weeks is a long time to be without the reliable frig. The repairman was friendly, said he may not be the one returning as he had retire or was about to. When I purchased the warranty I was told about the quick and excellent service I would receive.
The serviceman came at the time I expected and did such a good job of checking all of my appliances----it was my yearly maintenance plan to check all the new appliances under warranty----I really appreciate having that warranty in place if something should stop working correctly they have a history. Thank you for this service!!!!
Requested a service representative to do a service check. He arrived on time, wore booties, took extra time explaining the process and did a great job.I would highly recommend the tech.to anyone.
I had two repair guys out to fix different appliances, and both guys were great. Professional, and friendly. Fair prices for great service.
Excellent customer service and Im happy with the repair. My suggestion to get to 5 stars would be reduce wait time for service [I made a request online]. Also, make sure all your technicians are as knowledgeable and easy to talk to. :)
Person on phone did not know whether Sears appliances are still being made. Also canceled appointments 3 times. Went from August 15 to 7/29 to 8/5. Will not call them again.....
Repairperson Darnell came on time, assessed the problem with my refrigerator correctly, ordered the parts necessary to make repairs, and installed the parts promptly. An excellent job. Very Satisfied.
Service was for routine maintenance on the fridge. Got an appointment within a week during a 4-hour window. Tech finally showed up an hour after the window closed-way late! No apologies or anything, but he did get right to work and seemed thorough and capable. The 2 calls to customer service were deplorable! First agent had little understanding of English. Second could speak the language better but provided no information or solutions, let alone sympathy.Quality of work seemed ok, but what a hassle!
Guy was nice. 4 hour window too long to wait. This laundry unit is agitating with almost no water. They said it was working properly using their diagnostics but did not run the washer so I am back to adding water to every load. Annoying. In the Olden days the technician actually tested the cycle. Welcome to 2016.
Fridge failing after only two years will not cool at all Sears cannot come out and fix it for two weeks. I would understand if it where not a refridgerator you can work around other broken appliances. But not your fridge.Cant live out of ice chests for two weeks. This makes their warranty pretty useless. Not sure if I will continue to buy appliances and warranties from them any more.
I have an expensive maintenance contract. It took several weeks to get a person out to repair a stove that was not working. Also, the service rep who came was NOT a stove man. He did dishwashers. The wrong parts were ordered, and not all of what was ordered came. The rep kind of hay-wired things together and left with a parting comment, well, well see if that last very long! We have had Sears maintenance contracts on our appliances for about 15years. This is typical of the service. Plus, the telephone-based automated service scheduling system never works correctly. Poor service, high prices.
The Technician was very experienced and was very careful of my new house. Tracie did a fantastic job on a complex repair on my control panel of my microwave.
I arranged for home service on my 6 year old Electrolux oven in late December. There have been multiple same day cancellations, including near the end of the 4 hour window. They have known they need two people to move the oven since the first appointment, but still continue to send one person only to discover they need two again. I am hoping that the seventh appointment that they show up for will be the one that takes care of the problem, or that they at least acknowledge that they dont know what the problem is. Cant imagine why I would ever want a service plan from them. It was the same type of issue with two prior dishwasher calls, so I could not help venting...
The serviceman did a great job. He was knowledable and was able to fix both. A verynice man.Thank you
After being held hostage until the last minute waiting for service the tech arrived, 2:01 at the wrong building. Tech was friendly and explained many things I am doing wrong. Tech proceeded to show us and explain what we needed to do. Oh by the way we were already doing it. Turns out the washer is a piece of crap but after a touch over a year I have no recourse. The problem we have weve been told is the same with all washers of this type. Bull! Ive owned several and never had this problem. SEARS will never see me darken their door again. This SEARS is nothing like the one I literally grew up with, they cared these guys, Vancouver Mall SEARS have shown me several times customer satisfaction is not, not their goal. Goodbye longtime friend.
The repair guys we dealt with were prompt, friendly, and knowledgeable in servicing our refrigerator, they deserve 5 stars. The refrigerator deserves a miserable 1 star. The repair servicemen have been able to silence the noises the refrigerator makes - at least for a few weeks. We are not pleased with the fact that they have to keep coming back for the same noises starting over; we thought that finally replacing a part would resolve the problem, but just last night I heard that familiar noise coming from the Refrigerator... I guess we will be seeing you again soon. What a lemon for a refrigerator.
Twice in the past month we have schedules Sears home Services to come out for different issues The first time, they did not come within the 4 hour window, and I did not receive a call for 2 more hours. That call was to cancel my appointment for the day, as they had overbooked. Assuming that was a fluke, we rescheduled. This time, they were still late, but came. Today ( a month later) we had another appointment. They did not show nor call withing the 4 hour allotted time slot. When I called them, they said the original tech couldnt make it, but they were trying to send someone else out. I cancelled the service request and called elsewhere. If overbooking and not showing is their idea of customer service, I will gladly take my business elsewhere.
Sevice Technician,Jay, was polite, kind and courteous. Fixed drainage problem quickly and professionally. Dishwasher is working as new again! Thank you!
A good experience got us. Repair lady was prompt, friendly and knowledgeable about our dishwasher problem. She diagnosed our problem in a matter of minutes and offered options based on cost to fix our problem. She returned once the parts ordered were delivered and in a matter of minutes had our unit functioning correctly. Cost was reasonable.
The service people are great but it took a month to get my dishwasher fixed. I have a service agreement but the first question they asked me is If I send you the parts can you fix it yourself? Well yes, but I already paid you for the service. It took 2 weeks to get anyone out to me. I told them what part was broke but the wouldnt send it to me. When the repair person got here he ordered the part I told them I needed. THEN I got an appointment for TWO MORE WEEKS OUT for them to fix it. If this was the first time I could look over it but this is the third time. I will NOT buy their service agreement again.
Was able to get an appointment quickly they showed up on time and were able to fix the problem right away. Could you gentlemen that came out to my house was very nice and helpful
Todd of Sharper Service Solution was very knowledgeable, informative, and professional. He did an excellent job repairing my LG washer Feb 28, 2017 !!
Technicial arrived promptly, was curteous and knowledgeable, and has ordered the needed part.
Technician got to the house at 5:45 pm when the service block time was 10 to 2pm. He was here for approximately 5 minutes he didnt inspect or clean around the compressor coils. It didnt seem like a thorough inspection. He didnt leave an inspection sheet of what was checked. Very disappointed with the inspection process. The technician was courteous and it sounded as if he had too many scheduled inspections.
My washer needed an additional part, so we had to wait a few extra weeks for it to arrive. Its pretty tough not being able to wash clothes, only to find out after having a family member at our house waiting for over 3 hours that our technician wouldnt be able to make it. We had to reschedule AGAIN, so hopefully Ill be able to do laundry after tomorrows repair! :)
Sears did not fix my appliance which is a Samsung washer the second time either. I complained the handyman they hired didn’t know how to fix it and did not follow up with parts and you know what Sears did? Repeated that THE HANDYMAN they had come is ALL that they will send since I live in SW WASHINGTON so they rescheduled an appointment with the same handyman. Are you kidding me? How sad, awful and rude. I am angry and there will not be any more years with this company. We have been customers over 34 years, no longer.I cancelled my contract.P.s. you only get a QUALIFIED TECHNICIANS Depending on where you live people! You pay the same but you do not get treated the same.
The technician arrived on time. He was able to fix the appliance in a reasonable amount of tine. He left the site as he found it. We were very satisfied.
I have been a loyal Sears shopper for many years. I have purchased my oven, washer and dryer, riding lawn mower and refrigerator within the last 5 years. My refrigerator quit working Aug 24th, Sears cannot send a repair person until Nov 26th or 3 months. I live 30 min from Portland Or and 10 min from a Sears Store. I will not be shopping at Sears any longer. Terri
We had excellent service. The technician was very knowledgeable about our machine. He fixed the problem. Thank you
Washer went from working intermittently to not at all. Probably the 6th repair in 2 years on this thing for the same (off balance issue), and a 2 week wait for the new part. I am one pissed off customer. Will never buy another thing from Sears. Their extended warranty sucks. Even if I am not paying for the many service calls, they are not correcting the issue. I feel they are just putting me off until the warranty expires. Not acceptable customer service.
They changed my appointment and it turned into a series of rescheduled messes because I didnt get parts to my house on time and they made my one appointment into a few. I have spent tons of time on the phone trying to figure out the mess they made a few times. I lost a lot of work and am still taking time to correct problems they caused. I get told sorry but no follow through and now a part wasnt actually replaced though they said it was.I would not spend another moment on Sears after over 30 years. Rude supervisor today sealed the deal for me-run!
Repairman kept me updated on his e.t.a. Very polite and careful to clean up after himself. He was knowledgeable about my issue, had to order a part, but all was done in a timely manner.
Tech 0562173 arrived 6/11/16 Did a quick repair and service on my dearly loved Samsung washer Explained and showed me how to clean the drain area in a more efficient way Very knowledgeable and efficient Best one yet but all techs over 20 plus years have been great Thanks Good to go now
The Sears repairmen were very courteous and arrived during the time period that I was told they would. The 1st person came and determined a diagnosis of the problem. Ordered parts and said they would take 10 days to arrive. 2nd person came 12 days later to install parts but it still did not solve problem so he ordered another part (which took 10 days to arrive). 3rd person came 11 days later to install part. It was not the right one and did not solve problem. He found that a hose had come apart (under the machine) and attempted to fix it. Ran the machine for a while and felt problem was fixed. A little while after he left I ran a load of dishes and a few minutes into the cycle the machine stopped. A message on the machine said not enough water reaching the machine. I called him and he arranged for a senior technician would come the next day. The technician the next day came and after a while found that the hose had come apart again and installed parts. He said he fixed the machine for now but he was not sure how long it would last since we purchased the machine from Sears surplus and there were alignment issues also. Yikes! Sears, this was not an impressive experience.
I am sick and tired of Sears taking months to repair my ref. This is a $4000 ref. and it is not a year old yet. You cant get a repairman for weeks, they do not care that your food is melting. For a big company this really sucks. I have to send over two hours on the phone to get an appointment and then they still dont show up. Sears SUCKS!!!!!!!!
2+ months to fix the problem. After a couple weeks waiting, the first guy took a look at it figured the switch was bad switch (because its always the switch). So he ordered one. Weeks later a different guy installed the switch which didnt fix it. So he ordered a burner. A few weeks later a third guy installed the burner and it works fine. Its a good thing its under warrantee because they were charging for replacing the switch that was working just fine.
Great service tech but washer repair didnt work had 4 visits and 3 parts replaced as of today may 17 my washer is finally working
Chris, the service technician, did a nice job and even put High lift bladeson instead of the regular mulching blades. I am still waiting for the two idler pulleys because Chris did not have them in the truck even though I specifically requested them, by part number, when I made the appointment. Also his computer was malfuctioning, actually several, times during his visit and I still do not have a receipt for the service call. This call did not go as well as they have in the past but I do not feel that it is Chriss fault. I am anxiouly waiting for the pulleys so that I can get the rider mower back in service and my wife wants the receipt for book keeping records.Thank you.
The repairman was very polite and got the repair done quickly and was gone. He had to come main times. Thank you
The serviceman was very nice and courteous and informative as he shared ways to help us get clean dishes, however the dishwasher continues to not clean the upper rack dishes properly. It is the middle part of the upper rack where we put bowls and saucers that does not come clean. I am trying to be careful to make sure this rack connects properly in the back of the dishwasher as the serviceman instructed. Of course if I wash them before putting them in they come out clean but until recently I have not had to do anything but rinse them and remove loose or hardened debris. I have not yet called for service again but may have if this continues. Update: 06/25/17 Had to call again as another part fell off and this (different) serviceman replaced it. He said he things the reason my dishes are not getting clean is because there is too much suds and suggested I use a different dishsoap and make sure it does not contain rinse aid or do not use rinse aid as well. I will try that.
The repairman Brad arrived on time and was fantastic! Very satisfied with the service. Give that man a raise! he represents your company well.
When the repair man took the new replacement part out of the box he said it was broken. He used part of the new part and part of our old part to fix our item. An said if we still have problems they will need to come back out again. We bought three appliances and have had problems with all of them.
Excellent service. The repairman was friendly, clean, and thorough. He explained what was wrong with my kitchen range and hee fixed it promptly as well as put everything back where it belonged. Carl Fredin is an asset to your company.
