David Fernandez did a great job of diagnostics and identified the part that needed to be replaced. The part was on back order for months, however he called around found the part and kept me informed during the process. David was very professional and courteous. Great experience!

Service start to finish was very professional. The tech arrived on time, performed necessary service without rushing. He left all areas tidy, and offered to answer any additional questions I had. I appreciate him taking extra time to go over the thermostat display and explain in detail the function of the emergency heat. Our AC went out on the hottest day of the year with a hotter day coming. On a Saturday I was able to get a tech on the phone within 15 minutes. He was very knowledgeable and upfront on the after hours fees and the possibility of not being to fix it. He was able to fit us in the next morning and replace a part to get it working again. Was much more affordable than I thought it would be and the customer service was over the top!

We just had a new ductless heating and air system installed today. This was a complicated project that took most of the day to finish. The crew arrived on time, and were prepared to get the job done. They took the time to explain what they were doing, even when they were very busy. They listened to their team lead and to their project manager, and nothing had to be explained twice. They worked together as a team and treated each other with respect also, which was great. They cleaned up everything when they were finished. They vacuumed and swept. They put furniture back. They paid attention to every single detail on the install. There wasn’t a piece of trash, or a box or any tape anywhere on my property when they left. Our AC quit working in July and we needed someone to take a look at it quickly. Apex sent someone out the next day and the technician did a great job. It was a simple fix but they were thorough and checked the whole system to make sure it was running well.

I have used Apex Air recently for the purchase and installation of a Ductless Mini Split heating and cooling system in my shop. This recent experience with Apex Air was for an Bryant Evolution 4 Ton heating and cooling system for our home. The estimation process was easy to understand as there are many variables to consider when purchasing a system of this size. The time from signing the order to installation was very fast. The day before installation, Apex Air conducted a walk through in preparation for the following days installation and all considerations specific to our home were taken into account to insure a smooth installation. The installation the following day was performed without a issue and they concluded their work by late afternoon and left our home spotless. I can recommend Apex Air very highly if you are considering the installation of a new heating and cooling system for your home. Everyone including the scheduler in the office was polite, respectful and well trained for the work they do!

Through absolutely no fault of Apex, I had myriad issues with the brand new furnace setup they installed in February - scheduling changes due to the snow storm; a blower that failed 36 hours after install; a thermostat that wouldn’t stay connected to its manufacturer server; wiring problems ...Charles and the rest of their team went ABOVE AND BEYOND making sure that we got what we expected/needed, and their techs were always professional and courteous (thanks Jacob, Brad, and especially David!).In spite of the trials of the last few months, Apex has gained my trust and my loyalty for as long as we live in their service area!

Our AC seemed like it wasn’t blowing cold air. And it just so happen to do this right before the biggest heat wave in Portland-metro’s history! I had a hunch on what happened, but I wanted to get out a trusted advisor to do a thorough diagnostic. I’m an existing Apex customer and I’ve been very happy with the service each time. I contacted Apex Air on a Thursday and was miraculously able to get someone scheduled to come out first thing the following Monday. This, during a time when practically every HVAC company in the region has multi-week backlogs before they’re able to come onsite for service calls… temperatures literally in the 110-115 degree range! I was very impressed with their responsiveness and willingness to send someone out. Our tech who came out on Monday morning was David F. Very knowledgeable and very thorough! He checked our outdoor unit, ran some tests, checked under the hood and kicked the tires, if you will. He then checked on the health of the furnace. He also gave me some very helpful tips on how to keep our unit running efficiently and effectively during these abnormal heat waves. David worked quickly, kept me informed along the way, and was an overall pleasure to interact with. Apex Air is and will continue to be our go-to service provider for all of our HVAC needs. I’d highly recommend them. And if you end up with David as your service tech, then you’re in good hands.

Ricardo did routine cleaning and maintenance on my Mitsubishi split-style air conditioner/heater today. Hes very professional and thorough, and explains things well---in more, and better, detail than the manual that came with the system! Everything inside is working fine, and I found out Ive been keeping up well on cleaning the filters.
