Dr.Gerber and his staff were very professional. They got me in for a same day tooth extraction and filing and he did an exceptional job. I immediately went back to work afterwards without any pain. He even took the time to call later that evening to check on how I was feeling. Most definitely recommend Gentle Dental to anyone who is looking for professionals that truly care. I would just like to thank Gentle Dental for the outstanding customer service first of all! My boyfriend has been dealing with an excruciating toothache for a couple of months now. He had seen another dentist that told him he needed to wait at least a month and charged him for one pain pill. I called Gentle Dental and they had an appointment available for him to be seen the same morning! The assistants, the dentist himself, and the front counter people were all so kind to us. They were able to do the extraction the same day and the procedure was so fast and easy! Dr Gerber was so kind to my super nervous boyfriend and made sure he was as comfortable as you can be before getting your wisdom tooth taken out! Thank you so so much, he is relieved of so much pain. We definitely will never go anywhere else!

Have been with this dentist for years. They have made me feel like part of their family. I have a fear of dentist but Dr. Gerber has been excellent at talking, explanations and comfort care. Staff have always been professional and sweet. My children use him and now I hope my grandchildren will come to dr Gerber and feel the same as I do about this great dentist.

Dr Gerber extracted a very complicated molar this morning. It took an hr and I experienced no pain whatsoever. They explained each step so I would know what to expect which was very calming. OMG! I have found the best dental office in Tyler. Soon as I walked in, Mary, the receptionist, addressed me by name as if I was a regular patient there. She had the sweetest personality and made me feel like family. As I was about to take my seat, Ashley, the dental hygienist, was at the door to take me to the back. She was super friendly. She made sure I didnt have to want for anything. Her chair side manners were superb! She gave me a mask to place over my eyes so I wouldnt have to look at them work on my mouth and I could relax. She patted and rubbed my shoulders while Dr. G. gave me shots in my mouth and placed a blanket over me just in case I got cold. What dentist office does that? NOBODY! Dr. Gerber came in and won my heart. He is the nicest, kindest, coolest dentist I ever had. He made sure I didnt feel any pain or discomfort and he called me later to make sure I was still doing good. I left out with a thank you bag and a tshirt. Who else can brag on their dentist office like this? NOBODY! I LOVE GENTLE DENTAL CARE ♥️🥰♥️🥰

I scheduled an appointment for my Father (age 67). A cleaning and X-ray. I submitted all documents online with insurance. The day of my appointment, I called to verify if the staff had all information needed. The FD clerk stated, yes on 5/3/21 at 1:40. At 1:45 she states of were missing the patient information. I filled out the form. Then we proceed to the back to start the process, then the clerk say, were missing insurance. Although, I know I submitted my records online from the email, she stated they didnt have. Then we were advise they didnt accept my Fathers insurance. So I felt the staff or just the FD clerk should insure all information is received and accepted prior to the appointment. So she states, its just $85. Maam we pay for insurance, why would I pay the company $85? Very disappointed. Ive never experienced this issue before, but now I will verify even if the staff doesnt. Training is highly needed and I would not recommend this dentist office. A complete waste of time.

Recently moved back home to Texas Returned to see Dr. Gerber initially because thats who I used before moving to Illinois. I was seen by Dr. Simons. Dr. Simons is also awesome. Dr. Gerber is the absolute best. He is caring, kind and funny! I have been his patient for nearly 30 years. He has always taken such great care of me. Whether for an regular checkup or an urgent need, he has always made time for me. After more serious dental procedures, he (himself!) always calls later that day or evening to check on how you are feeling. His focus is on preserving the natural teeth, which I appreciate so very much. I would recommend him to anyone needing an excellent, gentle dentist - including my Mother (which I did!). His staff is always friendly, accommodating and helpful in every way.

They were aware of my dentist fear and did everything to make me comfortable and everything went very smooth. I had to have a wisdom tooth pulled which was my first time to have a tooth pulled, and even calling them after the procedure the staff has been great at answering all my questions and making sure that Im doing ok. The staff is very nice. They show you around the facility which is a nice touch. They call you to verify insurance before your appoinment. Online paper work is user friendly. Again, the staff is very nice and very thourough... however, I am not a fan of the teeth cleaning or Xrays at any dentist office. I chose this place because its closer to home versus Kreit Dental in Livingson which I was very comfortable with. Gental Dental had no salt because I gag easily and they had to take 18 xray pictures. They use a topical to numb the gums before the cleaning versus a lidocain injection which I would have prefered. It was a painful experience, and to the hygenist credit I did have quite a bit of plaque build up so she really had to work to get it off. I have to have 4 fillings and again they only use the topical unless there are deep pockets and they said they could give zanex to relax me. Well that really had me wanting to run from this place because I dont like taking pills of any sort, and sure dont want that even in a low dosage. I really feel that alone was just the deciding factor for me to have my fillings done back at Kriet Dental where I know I wont feel anything and wont be offered Zanex. Again, the staff is incredibly nice.

Love Gentle Dental and the staff everyone has been great. We have a 15 year old that has Autism and ADHD. We have struggled for years finding a dental office and dentist that would work with him. We would go and they would tell us that we needed to look for another dentist they could not work with him. So we went a few years and we finally found Gentle Dental and all I can say is wow. All the staff has been very kind to me every time Ive been in, Ive been a customer for nearly a year now. I was able to pay for a plan that covers a certain amount of cleanings & an emergency visit per year which I really enjoyed because I didnt have to pay each time I went in for an appointment, I just took care of the whole year ahead of time.

The staff and Dentist were excellent when I went in for the 1st time. I called them with my problem and they let me in 30min. Then they worked on my teeth after the x-rays immediately and was done in 3 hours. I experienced no pain at all while I was in the chair. I give them more than 5 stars. I have been using Gentle Dental Care of Tyler for quite a few years now. They are always very accommodating. I have had cleanings done as well as extensive dental work including crowns and a root canal. They have made every effort for my visits to be comforting and pain free. Everyone is very nice and friendly. The dentist himself even calls me personally after my work is done to see how I am doing. They have been the first dentist I have used since moving to Texas and I wouldnt go anywhere else. I highly recommend them.

Staff was very friendly. Although they asked for more than I thought they would charge me, based on my insurance deductible, we ultimately agreed upon pricing and went forward. I paid, I left, then two weeks later I start receiving requests for hundreds of more dollars?? Absolute scam. My former roommate went to them as well and they screwed him the exact same way.

I have been going to Gentle Dental Care since 2008 and they are great! Erin has been my primary dental hygienist since that time and she is awesome at what she does. She is very knowledgeable and informative. She provides great service during my visits. If there is a major issue Dr. Gerber does a great job of explaining the problem and provides all the options available.

I highly recommend going here! I had an amazing experience here and the staff was amazing. They were very professional, but also gained a personal relationship with me. I feel like they truly get to know their patients. I called and got an appointment the same day, even being a new patient. I needed to get 2 teeth extracted and they were able to get it schedule in a very timely manner. I was so nervous and everyone was very patient, kind, and understanding with me. The day after the extractions they even called and checked on me. I will have to have a lot of work done and look forward to getting it all done here. This was by far the best overall experience with a dentist & staff that I have ever had. I went in as a walk in, had no wait time, was explained everything ever step of the way and everyone seemed to genuinely care. Beware!!!! Do not go here. They are unorganized and the front desk lady is really mean. They let a whole procedure go through when it wasn’t even covered by our insurance when they said it would be! They messed up and don’t want to take any responsibility for their actions. I would never recommend coming to them for any kind of dental work. I would recommend you find another place. Very rude and made us feel sorry that we ever contacted them, it’s been nothing but surprise after surprise with them.

I called to schedule an appointment as a new patient needing a standard cleaning. Upon arrival, X-Rays were taken and a review with the Doctor. Afterwards, I learned that I must schedule ANOTHER appointment for an actual cleaning?? This was not mentioned during phone scheduling and is very deceptive. Staff needs to be trained and educated to instruct new clients BEFORE scheduling that two appointments will be required. I chose not to schedule a secondary another appointment due to this. The staff is extremely nice and beautiful facility.

I was terrified to have my wisdom teeth taken out (they had already cut through the gum so I was not going to be put to sleep). The staff were so welcoming, honest, helpful, calming, sweet, I could go on. My teeth extractions took about 2 min, couldn’t be more thankful for that. I took the pain medication prescribed shortly after once and have just taken ibuprofen after. Highly recommend this place!

I visited Gentle Dental Care for a check up after several years hiatus from the dentist. Going in I knew that I needed work so I was unsurprised when I was told I needed fillings. What blew me away was the EXCEPTIONAL service and care I was shown from the moment I walked through the door. I was greeted by an extremely nice woman named Danielle, and given a great tour of the office (never has that happened at a dentist office before). I was promptly seated and had a very gentle X-ray taken (thats usually my least favorite part). Then Dr. Gerber came in. And guys, hes SUPER NICE! Fillings were pronounced necessary but never did I sense any judgement or condescension. Beverly at the financing counter walked me through my options and I made a super convenient appointment for my treatment. I wanted to wait several weeks before leaving this review, because, as most of you know, fillings can be tricky. I am so happy to say my fillings are wonderful. Dr. Gerber and his assistant Carmen did a great job (no injection pain), and Ive had absolutely no sensitivity. I even had ice cream that very night! Thank you Dr Gerber and Gentle Dental Care, I cant wait to come back for my cleaning!
