The ladies are very nice, but the Manager (Jimmy) was very disrespectful, used profanity towards me, made inappropriate comments, blamed me for everything that he did wrong on my nails, was short tempered, got up after I paid and had his wife finish my appt (she had to do the third paint job as he messed up the first and second time) - while he went outside to do something with his car. I have never been treated soo poorly by a “professional” before. I’m a firm believer in second chances, so this was my second trip, and I refuse to use this establishment again. Very disappointed.

UPDATE: I am changing my 1 star to a 4 star because I went back to have them removed. The owner felt bad and really tried to let me have him do a fresh full set but I denied. The owner removed them for free, put on a clear coat to strengthen my nails, and also gave me a $10 off next time with him.If I could give them a 0, I would. I went in asking for a specific design. Not only are my nails crooked and not pointed like I asked, but the spider web looks like it was drawn on by a 2 year old. I just wasted $40 to be embarrassed and have to immediately go somewhere else. Don’t waste your time or money.

I have a new nail salon! The regular place I went was booked so I called Coco nails. They got me right in. The salon is very clean and everyone is very Covid complaint with masks required, hand sanitizer available and immediate sanitation after a client is finished. The atmosphere is friendly and happy chatter fills the room. Danny did a great job on my nails! Thank you!!

My name is Mary and I have been getting my nails done by Jimmy for over a year. He is the BEST in Tucson. I am VERY picky and have been to many salons. Jimmy is your guy and Coco Nails has other great nail techs. I also had my eyebrows done there and they did an awesome job. Try it out now that its under new management. You wont be disappointed.

Jimmie has been doing my nails for quite a while. I will not go anywhere else. He is fast, professional and always super attentive to my needs. I enjoy our conversations and always look forward to pampering myself. :-)

They are excellent! Fantastic attention to detail. Shellac manicure going strong 2 weeks later. My only comment would be that there was basically no massage, just putting on a little lotion, so would be nice if that part was longer. Ill definitely be going back!

This is my new salon!I used to go to another nail salon, but was treated very poorly there.So, I looked up Coco Nails on Google maps and WOW. This place is clean, modern, and honestly not that expensive. Ive had my gel on for 4 weeks now and it really hasnt chipped. Its time for a new nail color and Ill definitely be coming back!

I LOVED my nails so much I had to review as soon as I got home!! I booked a reservation online because I think they are appointment only. It was pretty easy! I booked simple art gel manicure. I decided to treat myself after working every weekend hah!I came here 10 minutes before and hung my coat. I filled out a new client form. From the moment I walked in I felt like the salon was so chic!! I really like the ambiance.

Ive been working next door for the past 3 years and the people that owned this place had terrible customer service, they were rude always rushing, and too rough. Recently jimmy took over and let me inform you guys that this guy is awesome, hes super friendly, greets you in and out the salon & his work is outstanding. This is now my go to salon!

First time going here and impressed at the professionalism and serene atmosphere. Got right in with no appointment and had a great pedicure and massage. They have several types of manis/pedis and a precious area with special chairs just for little princesses to be pampered. Would definitely go again!

I like to take my business to places I get great service from. Cocos replaced my previous long time commitment to Golden Nail Spa. When management changed the quality went down. Here at Cocos I feel like its hit or miss. I can have a fantastic experience and be very satisfied with my service or it could be the exact opposite. They arent very consistent. Last night I went in and watch them turn away three clients because they said they were busy. They asked me if I would change my request from the spa pedicure to an Express pedicure because they were very busy. I told them it was okay I would just go somewhere else. 5 minutes later they asked me to have a seat and completed my pedicure. The entire time I felt like I was being ridiculed in their conversation. I did not feel comfortable or welcome. I felt as though I forced them to do the job that was requested.

Walked in today 30 minutes before closing and they took me in anyway. Got a gel manicure and regular pedicure! Had two people working on me, did not feel rushed! Very nice people! I plan on coming back again!

Great nail salon . I do dip powder gel and the technician i had was great. My only recommendation is making an appointment and letting them know so they can prep in advance.Many nail polish and dip color options. Also VERY CLEAN, which is the most important! .💞

Tina is absolutely the best! For the last five years she has been doing my nails and taking care of my ingrown nail. I am always happy to see her cause she always has a smile on her face.

It was peaceful. My nail tech was so sweet. She listened and took her time. She even offered to fix a broken nail if I needed it because of my past experience at a terrible nail shop. I will be returning.

I decided to give Coco Nails a shot due to their location and high star rating. I was welcomed by girls who was extremely friendly and kind! I asked for a fill/gel polish and she helped me decide on chrome nails. I couldnt be happier with my nails! They look fantastic! I have had chrome nails before but they were very streaky and I hated them. However girls attention to detail made my nails streak-free! I will definitely be returning!!🔺

I called and scheduled a 5:30 PM appointment per Julies recommendation.Asked her the best time to come in for a gel fill. We scheduled a 5:30 PM appointment per her recommendation. I arrived up at 5:20PM, signed and sat down. It was about 10 minutes before Julie came up to me to let me know she was running behind...almost an hour behind. Im fairly certain the lady who walked in a few minutes ahead of me got my 5:30 PM slot. I walked out. Why bother scheduling an appointment if greed takes precedent. Very disappointed. This isnt my first bad experience with Coco Nails however it is the last.

I walked in before noon and was helped right away. I got a shellac manicure because Im a nurse and my nails arent the best honestly.Constantly using hand sanitizer and washing my hands really wear down my nails.Manicurist is phenomenal and really took the time to care for my nails. Shes super sweet and we talked for a good bit.Anyways, 50 minutes was the total time I was there and I will definitely be visiting again!I will 100% be back & refer my friends and family!!

Really?! I got a dip mani, 3 nails cracked and lifted after 10 days and went in for a repair- that I was willing to pay for no less! They said that dip only lasts two weeks. Rip off. I will never go to Coco Nails again—even though I have been going there for years.

I am here at Cocos like several previous trips it is relaxing with a comforted feeling to be taken care of. The customer service is excellent, the place is clean and has a positive live vibe.

Got a full set of acrylics two days ago and they nicked me with the file. My left thumb is now infected, red, swollen and painful. Hope I don’t need to seek medical attention! Won’t be going back. Proceed at your own risk. Bummer because they were nice and shaped my nails the way I like.

I went here with my girlfriend to get manicures and pedicures and i got acrilics with gel, paid 100$ and they did a terrible job on my acrilic!!! I will never be returning here as even when i told the man doing my nails it wasnt right he ignored me. Theu did not treat cuticles before applying the acrylics either, jist globbed it on and then when filling down my nails burnt my fingers with the dremel several times.The manicures and pedicures were completely rushed through and the employees with us werent very friendly at all. The guy at the counter was welcoming but the overall experience was terrible espeially for the price!! Do not go here! I am telling everyone i know not to go here as well! I have posted pictures of my terrible nail job in the photos as well. Going to another salon to get my nails fixed.

Coco Nails is an excellent nail Solon! They have amazing customer service and the staff is very welcoming! If you want to sit in a welcoming environment I recommend attending here! The jobs they do on your nails is even more amazing, they last a long time and its great quality! I go to this Nail Solon EVERY single time I want to get my nails done. I wouldnt go to any other place! I get so many compliments on how great my nails look after my nails are done. I have been going to Coco Nails for more then 4 years, I will go the distance to get my nails done here. So again, if you want great quality nail done, Coco Nails is the place to go!

If I could give no stars I would. I go in and after six months of finally getting my nails squared the lady screwed them up. I told her at the very beginning I like super square sharp nails. After two attempts after she messed up I couldnt take it anymore. Left crying and very dissatisfied. I will never come back here..... I had to pay$15 for screwed up nails. Never go here you will be disappointed

This is the best nail salon in Tucson. Place is clean customer services off the charts nail look perfect and only 20$for fills and French manicure. I finally found the perfect nail salon.

Really bad customer service (rude, no thank yous and over just unpleasant demeanor) and the lady doing my pedicure cut me and I’m not 100% sure she cleaned the tool after...Will not be going back and I wouldn’t ever recommend this place

I have been going here for years, only because they are down the road from my house. Today will be my last! They are RUDE! Constantly talking about you in Vietnamese to each and laughing. Today I finally asked them what they were saying because whatever it was they found it hysterical! And 3 of them proceeded to give me 3 different stories. Not only that but I have seen them be rude to older ladies, mean to little girls and unprofessional. I have been knicked and cut more times than I can count, if I get the wrong person. And NOW their prices have gone WAY up. Definatly NOT worth it!!!!! I never leave reviews but I go out of my way to support good local small businesses and i feel like the owners of this place have let this s*@$ go on way to long. I will take my money else where and support another local small business WOMEN who deserves it!

I honestly wish I could give more than 5 stars.I had the best customer care there than Ive ever had- I was a walk in and got a fabulous tech named Julie.About an hour before I got my nails done, I had given blood- I almost always get faint during donation but after I eat a bunch at the station Im usually fine. However, this time I wasnt. About 15 minutes into my appointment, I started to black out. I mentioned that I was feeling faint to Julie and she jumped into action- she turned a fan on me and got me water, and a coke, and a nutrigrain bar (none of which I was charged for) she talked to me and helped me stay conscious, and I went to the bathroom a couple minutes later and she checked on me a couple times to make sure I was okay. She was genuinely concerned for me and it was very sweet- and she managed to keep me conscious and make me feel totally fine. Im honestly very greatful, which is why Im writing the review. She was extremely kind about the whole situation too and made sure I wasnt embarrassed.On top of that, Julie is sweet, and incredibly talented! She clearly has been doing this a long time and she knows all the little tricks like soaking achy nails in warm saltwater. My nails have never looked so fabulous!

DO NOT GO TO COCO NAILS This was the worst place I have ever gone, all their tool just clean by water not clean with sanitizer, and most of the employees were very rude. they dont know speak English. I could have let all of that go if theyd have done a good job on my nails but they didnt. they came out horrible. another customer next to me had a problem with her nails and when she asked for them to be redone the man replied with "and HOW RUDE! Worst experience ever...I wont come back here forever.. Danny & Van is the owner at this shop they always lay off a Nails Tech... If they see their nails tech have a lot of customer request then they lay off them... I came here because last year they hirer a Nails Tech Name VIVIAN she can do all the nails design & she do very good job on my nails,she very friendly & she speak English very well.. VIVIAN have a lot customer request her. But Danny & Van Lay off a good person.. Is anyone know wheres VIVIAN work please let me know...

The quality of their services depends on which employee you get for services. I personally recommend Jason. Also, I think it is rude that the employees all speak to each other in their native language while working on you.

I wish i could give yhis place a 0 star. The staff did a bad job on my nails 3 fell off in less then one week. Just popped right off and when i went in to have then fixer. I called and made an appointment for and when i showed up for my appointment they wher3 closed for unexpected reasons. I went t9 a different salon to have them fixed. This moning ANOTHER one popped off. I went to cocos to ask then to fix it and the owner of the salon told me the lady who did them was out of town and i would have to come back. When i told her it had been less then 7 days sense i paid almost 50 b7cks f9r this new set and asked her to gix my 1 nail (its 3:30 pm) she tells me she has a wax appointment at 4:30 and 8 can sit and wait for her to be done at about 4:45 then she would do it. MY ONE NAIL!!! Completely unprofessional, Rude and poot managment skills. I will never go there again in my life.

I use to love it here but now I will never come back! I went with mother sister and daughter for pedicures, alot of money was spent and we were the only people there at first... Anyways they were super rude! My daughter is 2 and I asked for her toes to be painted, mind u shes very good about getting her toes done, well they were rude and acting like they didnt wanna do it then started talking in their language and someone walked in and grabbed them, I asked whos doing my daughters and nobody would answer, finally one said we dont like doing kids that young I said okay but she wont move, she rolled her eyes and kept on the other ladies! Then I had different colors on my toes, a different lady from who i had came to put a little drawing on my toe and started taking off the nail polish, I asked what she was doing she said its better to be the same color so the drawing can be white I said no I want it the way it was and she said no its better this way, I told her to go Im not dealing with them anymore . She didnt even care and asked if I was ready to pay. Lmao ru kidding? ! Then was rude to my sister the whole time, told my sister not to get the color she got Cuz it doesnt look good. Every 2 secs theyre talking in their language about u! That place has really gone down, I would never recommend to go there unless u want someone making u feel uncomfortable and putting u down!

This was literally one of the worst expierences I have ever had. Do not come to this salon! The lady doing my pedicure literally yelled at me for asking to make the water warmer and then processed to talk about me to her co workers in their language. She then left my toe nails uneven and when I brought this up the the manager they still charged me $80.00 lol.So they literally do not care about their costumers and just want their money.I would advise all people to steer clear of this place.

Let me start by saying the the actual nails were done nicely. However SANITATION, communication, and attentiveness are lacking completely. I guess I went in about an hour before closing and didn’t realize that until I was being rushed. Sat in these big nice massage chairs and was excited and then the guy who did my manicure shut it off so he could work on me at the same time as the pedicure was being done. He shook his head at me anytime I moved and rushed me through picking my nail color.The pedicure is usually my favorite part and I like to get the works (Paraffin wax and good massage with hot towels) well I didn’t even get to choose what I got. No paraffin wax and wasn’t even asked. She pulled out an aweful blue color and said this blue right? Which is funny cuz she hadn’t even given me a chance to pick in the first place I immediately said no. The massage felt like a toddler rubbing me.Back to sanitation, neither person washed their hands before working on me and both left clients to come straight to me, the guy kept using the same brush to dust off my hands and the station (gross), and when he took out trash didn’t wash his hands when I came back to do things around the shop and touch my hands.The guy was rude entire time, and the girl was nice enough but even took 2 phone calls during my experience. Mind you I got a simple mani/pedi just tried the dipping powder for my mani this time and they couldn’t even make my experience nice.

If I could put negative stars I would. I came in with an acrylic gel set and asked for them to be taken off. First off he filed them off which if youve had uv gel doesnt completely work. Then he filed my nails so thin that they hurt and that didnt even take all of the gel off. I honestly dont know what I am going to do since my nails hurt so much. Then he continuously nicked me and then told me not to watch him, after he nicked me the 6th time. Honestly if I knew what he was gonna do if pay him not to touch my nails! I would not go here plus I can understand some Vietnamese and I can tell when youre talking about me! Also the when he massaged my arms with the lotion he didnt even clean his hand or wipe mine so all of the shavings from my nails ended up on my arms! Do not go here!No polish just the red from my nails being filed too thin a…My damaged red, sore nails that were filed too thin and! Its paintfulAnd I would like to Bethany Smith know. You think you go at they shop for 4 years they dont talk bad about you, you dont even understand they language.
