I had a really good experience as a new patient. Everybody was really nice and welcoming including the front desk. The assistant, Farah, was really sweet and kind. Dr. Jack was very nice. And lastly, Angela (hygienist) was amazing, I can tell that she was doing her job from her heart. She was very informative, I would definitely recommend going by Angela.

I was nervous to start going to the dentist, but everyone at Redwood Dental Troy made me feel comfortable and welcome. Dental Assistant Manal, Dr. Jack and everyone at this location are all so kind. They always answer all of my questions and walk me through every process to calm my nerves. I am no longer nervous to go in for my appointments and feel happy walking in. My sister saw this and is now a patient here as well. If youre looking for a dentist, this is the location to come to!

Love this place. Ive been coming here for years now and will continue to even if I move away. My dental hygienist and dentist (Dr. Jack) both make me feel so confident about my teeth. My hygienist is gentle and we have great conversations which keep me from ever feeling nervous. Theyve also put great effort into being as Covid safe as possible. They accept Medicaid for those wondering. They recommend products occasionally when it’s actually something that would benefit me, but are never pushy about it like some dentist offices. Grateful to have found this place and to look forward to getting my teeth cleaned.

I used to really like it here but over time all the dentists I knew left. Now the dentists are just OKAY, but I feel like the overall place has changed. My family and I say it feels more like a used car shop now because theyre always pushing procedures on you or even scare you into preventative not medically necessary (i.e, it was rejected by our insurance!) procedures! I ended up moving and needing a new dentist who gives me a lot less anxiety than Redwood.

This is the third time I have changed a dental office due to geographic relocation. Redwood Dental Troy was highly recommended to me by my spouse as it was her childhood dentist office.Upon arrival, Redwood Dental executed a very thorough intake process, including COVID-19 protocols, that I had not experienced before. In addition, the total number of x-rays taken during my initial consultation to ensure a complete borderline assessment was excessive (which is a good thing in my opinion). The initial examination was accomplished on schedule and within the appointment timeframe.I have continued to receive prompt dental care while I attend semi annual cleaning, Invisalign treatment, and other appointments as needed. My dental care representative, Manal, has been particularly affable.When I schedule follow up appointments, I receive prompt calendar appointments via email for my calendar. Overall, this is as close to the modern dentist experience I could have hoped for in the metropolitan Detroit Area.I highly recommend considering this office if you want above average dental care.

Just finished paying out of pocket for a different dentist to fix the tooth that I had already had worked on at redwood dental. The experience was terrible. The dental assistant on my last visit was rude, clearly subbing in and awaiting the end of her shift. The office is unorganized and staff could not find half of the tools or proper cement for my final crown. Not to mention having to constantly sit up for staff to walk behind you in the tight rooms.I originally drove an hour to this location due to all these amazing reviews, only to be informed halfway through my appointment that the dentist I had been scheduled with was new to the practice. None of these reviews reflect him or his work.The tooth has continued to irritate me many months later. After recently seeing a new dentist to fix that same tooth, in addition to it requiring a root canal-they informed me cement was left all over the outside of my crown and had been rubbing on my gums, inflaming them. Oy! I will never go back.

My parents are both in heir 90’s and the hygienists were very gentle, kind and also, informative of what they needed to do going forward to protect their dental health. Dr Micheal Jack is great with them both with an abundance of patience in working with their best interests. This office in Troy is great for our family and I never worry about the care they receive.

I have been going to Redwood since I needed a dentist when I moved to the area. They are always fair with prices and dont push unnecessary procedures. I struggle with getting x-rays and they do a great job doing the x-rays quickly.

I just dont have much to complain about. I think my only complaint would be that I arrive 10 minutes early and sometimes dont get seen until 10 minutes after the appt schedule. I suppose that is understandable.

As always, when ever I have had a dental urgency or emergency, the office is extremely accommodating in getting me in. Dr. Jack is outstanding in every way; his crew and office are fantastic as well.

Redwood is my favorite office it’s a great place and very orderly. I go every six months for a cleaning and it’s the same great service from Karima and the dentists there. Karima is very much on time and thorough with her work, my teeth come out looking brand new every time!

Had a 9am appointment. Showed up 5 minutes early. Was then told we dont have an opening for you, you have to come back. What the heck? Is this how you do business? She then said we called you this morning. I showed her my phone records. No. You did not. Thats a lie. No effort to make up for it. No apologizing. Now I have to take off work twice. NOT HAPPY.

Called on a Friday afternoon complaining of pain, they got me in Monday at 8am. Performed an unscheduled root canal and crown on the spot. Really happy with the treatment received.

When we first started going to Redwood a few years back, we really liked it. The doctors, hygienists, assistants and office staff were so friendly and interested in their patients. Now that it is more corporate, they are in way too much a hurry to get you out of the door and get the next person in. Our family does not plan on returning.

It was my first visit to Redwood Dental on Long Lake in Troy. I had seen another dentist a few weeks earlier but I wasn’t super happy with a few things. I knew I needed more treatment and procedures so I looked for another provider. I wish I had found Redwood first. I was very pleased with everything. I was able to get an appointment quickly, and the follow ups scheduled just as quickly. The personnel couldn’t be more friendly. Every question I asked -and I asked A LOT of questions- including about my future procedures, was answered very thoroughly in terms I could understand, not simply dental terminology jargon.I have some expensive procedures coming up and I had long talk with the person who handles billing and insurance. She was great. She showed me all the numbers and gave me suggestions about where to go for the best insurance coverage benefits (it’s open enrollment season right now).I’ve had a second visit already with a hygienist for a deep periodontal scraping and cleaning and I am just as pleased as from my initial visit.I read some of the reviews and one person claimed the 5-star reviews are all fake. Windmill cancer is fake. I’m not fake.Another said she’s never had a pleasant experience over the phone with Redwood. I’ve only made one phone call to Redwood and it was anything but unpleasant.I haven’t felt the least bit rushed or put-upon or been treating in any way the least bit negative.I think it’s more likely the bad reviews are the fake ones.

Redwood Dental was a great experience. Usually I don’t like going to the dentist but Dra. Pryde made me feel so welcome! Everything was very sanitized with a very helpful staff. I’m definitely gonna make Dra. Pryde my primary dentist.

This place is very clean and professional. The young lady upfront was promot at greeting me when coming in.

First time to the office. I bought in all my paperwork - pre-filled. I waited to see the X-ray tech, then I waited to see the dentist and then I waited for the hygienist and when I questioned when I would be finished the hygienist acted like it was my fault that I dint know first time appointments take two hours! There was no reason the appointment should have taken 2 hours if I hadnt been made to wait. So I couldnt stay and while re-scheduling they wouldnt be able get me in for 6 more weeks. So I told them Id find a new dentist and they said OK!

Karima, the dental hygienist, did an excellent job of cleaning my teeth. I love the feeling afterwards after having a great cleaning done. Highly recommend contacting this office and seeing Karima as you’re hygienist.

I dont write reviews, but felt compelled after the excellent treatment I received at Redwood Dental Troy. The hygienist, Crystal, was the best Ive ever had. She was thorough, helpful in explaining my x-rays, and generally a nice person. Dr. Johnson was also excellent, and went the extra mile in getting me an x-ray (free of charge) to double check something. The whole experience was great and the office seems to be taking COVID very seriously, so worth going if you need a dental visit.
