Im sorry the first impression of this little office-in-a-mall is not at all about the care these providers offer. I have routine cleanings, as well as emergency extractions and root canals and crowns done with them. Both Dr.s are extremly talented, professional and caring about the quality of service they provide. After 30+ years of dental care with Latham Dental, I moved to Brunswick Dental and would never go back. They are all about the care of the patient, and never about the up sell of products or uneeded services.

I have been coming to this dentist for over a decade and I recommend it highly because of the doctors/dentist with one exception, the front desk staff! And thats why I give 3 stars. When I started coming here, aboit a decade or more so ago, there was only one staff in the front, which is why I was patiently because Im sure her bad attitude probably was because she was over worked, but years later, I came to my appt, and I saw they have more staff. I thought, maybe now it would get better, it didnt... I have more patience than I probably should, so this wont stop me from coming, but if this staff reads this comments, I sure hope, they get better with their attitude and the way the treat people, and also I wish they would stop messing up paperwork. I cant go into details because I wont share in a public form, my medical records, but seriously? This place will be a better place if it wasnt for the front staff, yes, the 3 women working there. But if you can by pass those 3? And ignore their not so good customer service? Then this place is the place to go...

The front desk people are nice enough but they are from the Troy area. So a unfriendly front desk here and there shouldnt be surprising. Its almost expected.Fortunately, this review focuses on the tangibles. Not the aesthetics. Lets talk about my expierence with the Dentist:The foreign gentleman who did the work on my mouth was professional. He had a slavic accent. He told me everything I needed to know without any long winded explanations. Aswered all my questions straight, to the point. He did his job and made me happy.Perfect. I want him everytime.

Open and honest. Quality care and very accommodating and helpful every visit. It made me tear up when I could finally smile again. The highly skilled professionals they are,brought back my 😃 smile

Honestly one of the best visits I have had to deal with when it comes to getting dental work done. They knew what to do sometimes before I even asked. They even did all they could to help minimize the pain. Highly recommend. If only they took new patients.

Went there today as a walk in emergency for 2 bad teeth and after X-rays and exam I was being numbed up and getting myself pain free. The male dentist that did my extractions was amazing as I was super nervous and shaking. He pulled them out within minutes and I was on my way. They were up front on the cost Bc I had no insurance and it was very reasonable compared to other dentists. I will definitely go back if I have any other dental concerns. Thank you guys for making me pain free today!!!!!!!

They did a five minute cleaning, Didn’t floss my teeth, no glasses to prevent stuff filling in my eyes, they did a filling with no numbing of any sort and my tooth is so sharp it cuts my tongue. Worst experience ever.

In my experience: trans and LGBT friendly 🏳️‍🌈First time going here was today. I wasn’t sure where to go and my insurance listed this as in network so I visited. Everyone I contacted was courteous and kind. There seemed to be a good climate and culture among the staff and they were keeping up with cleanliness/distancing protocols with what I noticed. I went to get a referral for wisdom tooth extraction but Dr. Phillips was like “yeah we can just pull that here” so they did and well... that’s it. Painless (after numbing lol). I’ve been getting into making google reviews more because apparently my opinion matters. But yeah I’d recommend them. They seemed really nice. I’ve no idea when I’ll be back but I would definitely return to them. And they also gave me a toothbrush with my first visit. Picture attached for PROOF of this toothbrush.

I had severe pain in my mouth, I was seen as an emergency visit and told I needed an extraction or a root canal with crown. My insurance doesnt cover the latter - I was prescribed what I needed to get through to my followup appointment with them a week later and had my tooth extracted then and there. It was so fast and relatively painless. Ive had no complications and a great relief in my mouth. They are super professional and I would recommend them to anyone.

Dr. Yevgeny Sosnovsky my first widsom extraction ever, he made me feel super comforable and did It quick and easy. I set another appointment for my second widsom tooth which was today and he again did a wonderful job especially when i was scared of the needle, My first healing process was a very fast recovery which i expect this would should be as well. He is awesome! Im glad i finally found an office im comfortable with! Staff is friendly too.

I read a lot of negative reviews. Rude reception, rude dentist, dirty office. I was nervous but i needed a dentist (mine closed) it was an emergency. 2 visits. There was one receptionist was a bit short with her interaction w me but the other ladies are dolls. The lady dentist didnt do anything at first visit but explained why and i understood. By Monday it was unbearable. They put me in immediately. Lady dentist listened to my issues, consulted with the gentlemen dentist, he came in, very straightforward (hes not rude ppl, just honest) about what options i had. In 4 minutes i was extracted, pain free and on my way. It wasnt dirty and though not a big office they are efficient. Overall i am satisfied enough that i may make them my new dentist.

I brought my daughter to Brunswick Dental last Saturday. That morning she ended up breaking her front adult tooth. This is not our normal dentist but since it was Saturday most offices are closed. I called the office and they saw my daughter right away without a prior appointment. When we arrived, the staff was all very friendly and within a few minutes the Dentist had fixed my daughters tooth. It looks great and you couldnt tell by looking at it that it was ever broken. The dentist really did an excellent job and made my daughter feel comfortable during the procedure. Anyone looking for a new dentist should consider Brunswick Dental.

I am a victim by Dr Vita Sosnovskys overtreatment.I came to the office for a dental check up and got convinced by Dr Vita that I have A LOT of dental decays. Although each decay being very small, Dr Vita suggested me treat them all right away. Unfortunately, I took her advice and one of the fillings she put in led to apical periodontitis after 2 years.2 years a tiny decay becomes apical periodontitis resulting for a root canal treatment, good job Dr Vita Sosnovsky!

I went to this dentist for years, even after moving almost an hour away to Schenectady because they accept my insurance at this office, but I had a terrible interaction today when, after asking a question about why they would have to file off a sharp spot on my tooth instead of building up the filling that had eroded, the doctor began to question if I wanted the two fillings that the appointment was initially for done or not, essentially making a passive threat that she wouldnt do the work if I didnt stop asking questions. I was treated with this disrespect until I became angry enough that they felt they could ask me to leave. I cannot fully express my disappointment and my anger in words.

Ive always had issues with dentists from early childhood. All the people here at Brunswick dental have been super awesome and have always put me at ease. They always seem to know just how to make me feel relaxed. Id never go anyplace else.

I’ve been going to this office since 2003, I have tried other offices due to convenience or insurance but none compare to the service I have always received here. I’ve never had an issue getting a quick appointment, never waited longer than 10 mins from my appointment time and the bathroom is clean! The receptionists are friendly and knowledgeable. The assistant Gene was awesome! Today I saw Dr. Phillips, first time meeting her and she went above and beyond! She took her time cleaning my teeth, was extremely gentle and observant (when it was uncomfortable she gave me a breather), she thoroughly explained my xrays and any concerns I had and she even offered to fix a discolored tooth that has ALWAYS bothered me. I’ve been to a handful of dentists and inquired about that tooth- NEVER has one offered to fix it most likely because it’s “cosmetic”. I haven’t stopped smiling since I left the office- Thank you Dr. Phillips!See you in 6months 😁🦷

This was the scariest 10 minutes of my life! Although the staff was extremely polite and quick, this office is undeniably not up to par. I asked for the restroom before I was seen and was sent to the back of the building. I passed two rooms with equipment and other office items that were covered in filth. The patient rooms are wide open and also extremely dirty. All of the dental tools were uncovered and during a pandemic you would think there would be more caution. I would not recommend this dental office. It doesn’t seem to meet any standards, especially for a profession that deals with peoples mouths. I’m disappointed as some of the reviews seemed high. I guess I have higher expectations for how a dentalOffice should operate.

I absolutely love this dentist. I always get greeted nicely as soon as I walk in the door. I never have to wait for my appointments they take me In a nice timely manner. The doctors are great, they really do great work on my teeth in fashionable time. The dental assistants are also great, they make me feel welcomed and comfortable before I start any procedures. I would recommend everyone to this fantastic dentistry.

I had to switch dentists as I moved to Troy for work. I walked in to a waiting room with ripped chairs and barely anything on the wall. I was greeted by a hygienist who asked the receptionist is she the new one? I was then escorted back by a different hygienist who said we are going to take a panoramic x-ray and then a few more when we get in the room. I told her I had x-rays done earlier this year and I asked her what the purpose was of the panoramic x-ray. She said it helps us see your bite and your wisdom teeth. I informed her that I had my wisdom teeth removed six years ago, I never had braces, and that my dentist back home did the smaller x-rays rather than a panoramic one as the panoramic one was only more expensive, not more helpful. She then sent the doctor in to reason with me.The doctor said that she had no way of telling if I had a cavity without an x-ray. I have had one cavity before and my previous dentist could tell I had one without an x-ray...The doctor said I should have brought in my x-rays. I told her no one had requested my previous records or x-rays, and that if they had, I would have brought them.The doctor went about cleaning my teeth. By cleaning I mean she roughly used a water flosser and then polished my teeth with the toothpaste. Nothing further than that. She said you have good teeth. Floss more often. In total the appointment lasted 10 minutes. I left as soon as I could.All-in-all the practice failed to even clean my teeth. I recommend finding another option.This place is only looking to make money and does a slipshod job if you dont go along with their unnecessary proposals.

I havent been to denist in over 26 years. Some one suggested Brunswick dental. Found the staff friendly an knowledgeable. I had dr.phillips as my denist. She was super. She professional an straight forward.(plus she pretty) i had several extraction (6) no complications. Then had an upper an lower partials. Two weeks gone by.no problems. Finally found a dentist that wants to help me, not just try to drain everything from my insurance. They are Very good at explaining what you need to know. The wait was short. They were very nice/understanding. The office was clean and professional looking. I was sent to an Oral Surgeon, they helped me find one! I am extremely satisfied, and will be recommending this Dentist office. I will be going here with all future dental needs. 😁

Was not just disrespectful but my heart went out to them. I even saw one desperate man come back and explain he did have insurance(had just called) only to be told you didn’t have time for him. Not even being offered a future visit..I listened to your office staff then talk about how they would be getting out at 2pm that day because they all agreed not to accept anymore walk ins. I also listened to the patients in chairs down the hall complain about pain, every treatment door left open.I don’t know how long the wait was in your establishment. But I do know that the people who’s lives you are in for a VERY short time do not speak highly of your serves. I switched to this dentist about a year ago and wanted to wait until i had had a couple of visits before reviewing. I have to say, it has been the nicest and kindest office i have been to yet. The staff are all wonderful and my experiences have been nothing but positive.From the moment you walk in, you feel comfortable. The office is very clean. You’re greeted at the door and aren’t left waiting too long. It feels like everyone is smiling all the time! I am just extremely satisfied overall with this entire office.

I think the team at Brunswick Dental are the best! They are honest, decent, dependable and fast. They care about their clients and will work with you. They have compassion and care for their patients, something as of late, is a very rare quality in this field. I highly recommend them! They have a strong work ethic, very good people.

They were so fast and efficiant. They did a root canal with ease in 45 mins and they are so nice. I will come back evey time they foumd an solved the problem an git me in so fast i didnt have to wait at all. I wil invite them to the cook out no doubt.

I have been going to this office for a while now. I love Dr. Sosnovsky! He pulled two wisdom teeth and one bad tooth in less than 4 minutes! He doesnt play around! He wants to get you in and out as fast as possible, but make sure that he does the job the right way! I highly recommend him!

The guy dentist is ignorant I have an infection that needed to be treated before I could do a root canal and he told me that it wasn’t important. I could get sepsis and die and he wouldn’t care I will never go back there no matter how fast I could get in there I’d rather be treated with respect and have my dentist care about my well being rather than just getting money. They took me the same day for my dental emergency, I was having pain and needed my tooth extracted after looking at the x-rays they were able to remove the broken tooth. Night and Day. I came from a chain Dentist and now regret not making the switch sooner. Everyone in this office is fantastic starting with the front desk and ending my particular visit with Dr. Tsesis. The procedure was explained to me clearly and the work performed flawlessly. I dare say getting 2 crowns at once was oddly peaceful. This is private Dentistry at its finest. The prices here are better than the chains even with the supposed discount plans they accept. I very highly recommend!

Was made to wait in a crowded waiting room for 30 minutes past my appointment time before I left. Watched another patient come in, tell the receptionist he had an appointment 15 minutes after mine, and get in before me.This was an unacceptable way to treat patients before COVID, its certainly unacceptable now.3 other patients were still waiting in the waiting room from before I showed up and were there when I left.

I had already started my appointments here when I read the earlier reviews. I do not know when these dissatisfied people were there, but my experience was nothing like described above. I found the offices and examination rooms quite clean and neat. Highest level of professionalism at all times.Fast efficient service and friendly atmosphere. Very happy with my visits, the full explanation of all procedures and fast followup. Most happy with the walk-in policy if there were any problems or issues.

I am writing this detailed review in hopes others also read them prior to booking an appointment. so everyone (particularly women) know what they are walking into. When I called to make an appointment it was for a 2nd opinion, on a long list of work another Dentist said I needed. As I have always kept up on my dental health, it was highly suspicious to me. But if needed, a possible root canal with Dr. Irina Tsesis . She is the female owner of business and had good reviews on my dental insurance site. Her partner (a male) Dr. Yevgeny Sosnovsky did not. Many reviewers found him rude and pushy. I found out that was just for starters.Precisely due to his poor reviews, while making my appointment I asked about Dr. Tsesis and was told by the receptionist that she was on vacation that week. Instead of directly stating I did not want Sosnovsky, I requested someone who was more gentle and would be better dealing with scaredy cats. I knew this would remove him as an option. The receptionist told me she thought it would be better. Available on my day off was Sosvonskys daughter, Dr. Vita Phillips. However, relatively young and inexperienced. But, if she needed a 2nd opinion her father (Sosnovsky), was there to ask. Nevertheless, at the time of visit I got Sosnovsky. They pulled a bait and switch. His daughter was just hanging out in the hallway doing nothing. I had noticed when I was in the waiting room his daughter came in front door and never said hello to the receptionists, nor did they acknowledge her. Not good. I told him and thedental assistant why I was there. I provided copies of x-rays and a treatment plan from the dentist one week prior. I also gave him another x-ray from 2 years prior on the tooth I was told I needed a root canal on. He looked around in my mouth and said he did not see any of what the other dentist said I needed at all. He said my x-rays from one week earlier were useless. He could not read them. Without an x-ray on that tooth he could not be 100% sure. He became very animated and insistent that my insurance would not cover another x-ray, so I have to pay him, then I send would send in for reimbursement from Cigna. I tried to explain to him that they would cover it, I had even called Cigna prior to my visit and a rep confirmed it. I also gently reminded him that I went there as they are an In Network Provider with my plan (therefore under contract), and he cannot charge me for the visit. He should be billing my carrier for it. It was a Huge Red Flag, and very disconcerting that he was trying to fleece me out of money when my company would pay for it. It is easily verifiableand routine business practice for a dental office to do so. He was overbearing and insistent with this, and I asked him a couple of times if he would verify the coverage with Cigna . He begrudgingly and reluctantly did so. Cindy called and verified I could have an oral exam, cleaning, bitewing x-rays. Just not a full mouth x-ray. I took her note and brought it into Sosnovsky in exam room. who then said they are not going to pay for oral exam. I told him his employee just verified they would, and is on the note in her handwriting. I was feeling uncomfortable, as his behavior was bizarre and illogical. I had just given him the note from HIS EMPLOYEE stating it was covered and he was telling me it wasnt. She also verified that the claim from the previous Dentist was already received. He was angered I was not allowing him to bully me by obediently paying out of pocket as he instructed. He was a tyrant, and UNETHICAL if not illegal. I told him to please ask her. He became highly irritated, removed my dental bib, threw both hands in the air and said I decline, I have spent enough time on you! Your a problem! This is a problem! His abusive unstable outburst took place in front of his staff who never batted an eye. Clearly not the first time he has acted so egregious. I stood dumbfounded then left. His conduct was disgraceful and shocking. I contacted the ADA and filed a complaint with my Insurance company.

Ive used this dental office for years. The dentists are personable and skilled. I would definitely recommend them.

They take care of you in a safe and efficient manor to get you back to your day. Fast, quality work.

This place is unfriendly, dirty and the Russian doctor is not nice. He even had the audacity to ask why I was coming to him and wasting his time instead of seeing my primary dentist. Uh, because I had a tooth ache! I don’t know them what the problem is but I know he did put me on a pretty high dose of penicillin. I wouldn’t recommend coming here to my worst enemy.

Went in and saw Dr Russian (forgot his name) and he looked at my tooth that was hurting for literally 30 seconds and said he had to pull it and assumed my insurance wouldnt cover a root canal! I have all my teeth and would definitely like to keep them. So i called mt insurance and they cover 1 root canal per lifetime! Soon as he told me he had to pull it i sat up and said im getting a second opinion thats when i said ill get a root canal and he said withoutchecking your insurance probably wont cover it anyway??? My advice is stay away BUTCHER

Love this dentist! I have had 4 cavities done and they’re all quick and painless. The only negative thing about this place is one of the receptionists up front is ALWAYS rude and pissy. She always has a sour puss on her face and even when you call to make an appointment she treats you like you’re the most annoying thing in the world. She barely even looks at you when you’re talking to her or asking a question either. If I didn’t like the dentist so much I wouldn’t come here.

Front reception is always rude every time I call. I’ve had a filling that keeps falling out they replaced 3 times already. The wait is ridiculous, EVERYTIME I have an appointment I wait literally 45mins to an hour.

My husband and I were really excited when he got Dental Insurance with CDPHP. He hasnt been to the dentist in years and was very overdue for a cleaning and had a tooth that was bothering him. Rather than a blessing, his appointment at Brunswick Dental with Dr. Yevgeny Sosnovsky turned into a NIGHTMARE! Do not go to this practice!!!!! First, the facility is filthy and has no privacy! I understand that many Medicaid offices are high volume but, it was like we were cattle being funneled from room to room. The receptionist was very unprofessional, rude, and her behavior/attitude was just our FIRST impression. The dental assistant was friendly but, also very unprofessional. I became concerned when we made it to the exam room. There was dust, hair, and dirt on the floor, on the stationary dental cleaning equipment, and cobwebs/dust hanging out of the air vents. She went to get a mirror and another cleaning utensil from a drawer that was mixed with a lot of other utensils. She wasnt wearing gloves, I didnt see her wash or sanitize her hands, and none of the utensils were wrapped or packaged. I felt this was unsanitary and it concerned my husband and me. I inquired about this and she accused me of being OCD! Rather than reassuring me or explaining their sanitizing process in a professional manner she turned it back on me like I was being unreasonable! I heard her joking with the receptionist after she called me OCD. The rude receptionist(earlier noted) walked back and forth in front of our room and laughed at me! After all of this we still had to see the doctor! At this point we were considering walking out but, my husband needed two fillings and a cleaning. Dr. Sosnovsky was very aloof, rude, and patronizing. He spent all of 10 minutes completing his two fillings and cleaning! Ive never had a cavity so I dont know the time frames for those but, I had a cleaning in March with a WONDERFUL practice in Clifton Park. The dental hygienist cleaned my teeth for an hour and the dentist consulted with me after that for 10 minutes! I had no teeth issues...they just took their time and attended to me. My husbands appt was Tuesday and his teeth are killing him today. I understand that some sensitivity is to be expected but, I know he didnt receive quality care. I called CDPHP/HealthPlex today (Friday) and filed a formal complaint. The member services Representative with HealthPlex was VERY helpful!!! I changed his dentist to a practice in Saratoga Springs and hes going there next week. PLEASE DO NOT MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE WE DID! DO NOT USE BRUNSWICK DENTAL FOR YOUR DENTAL CARE!!! We went to a practice close by that accepted his insurance and it was a horrible mistake!!! I hope this review can prevent at least ONE person from making an appointment at Brunswick Dental!
