Lets face it no one likes having to deal with tow company, cuz its never for a good reason! But its a great family business. The owners kids are out working, staff is knowledgeable and as empathetic as they can be and still keep lights on! Hope u never need a tow! But if u do ! Ur in good hands with hawks ! Even the late night dispatcher was very courteous! Explained all the procedures and all cost to be expected without an attitude!

I am a 56yr old man and I absolutely love these guys. I watch the show called Parking wars and these guys are the best. I love seeing the boys work. Hawk has great kids. Its tough to get kids to work hard these days but not his boys.

Used for my AAA call to have my car towed. The driver was very nice when he picked the car up, however, he dropped the car off at the wrong location and refused to acknowledge or correct his error. When he picked up the vehicle, I told him the vehicle was to Midas in Flemmington, which he confirmed, and gave him a $20 tip. However, he dropped the vehicle off at Mavis in error. When I called him to let him know he dropped the vehicle off at the wrong location, he insisted it was the correct location and sent me a picture of the location AAA provided to him. The picture (which I have attached) also states the car drop off location is Midas on Route 202/31 in Flemmington, NJ. When I confirmed that the picture showed the correct location of Midas, but it was not where he dropped the vehicle off, the driver told me I would need to call in another tow request into AAA and Your just upset because yall wasted your time. As you can see from the pictures attached, the drop off location and the place the vehicle the was left are not the same locations.

My past experiences with Hawks was always pretty good. Today, 2/25/2021, not so much. The driver seemed lazy and preoccupied with his phone.I had a complete flat and was worried about driving it on the rim. He asked me if I would drive it up the ramp. I asked him if he was going to use the winch? He said chuckled and said no, I was planning on driving it but Im not. I cant fit in your car. After I drove it up, he asked for my keys in case he gets to the shop before me.Once we got to the shop, instead of having me get in when your lift is flat, he waited until it was elevated and had me get in. While he was looking at his phone. Then he told me to start it up. I told him I need the keys. He then said you have them. I told him you took them. He went back to the cab, got the keys, then awkwardly handed them to me while still looking at his phone.The whole experience just annoyed me.

Hawks towing service drivers are always kind and willing to help get your situation under control and will be there as guickly as they can I use them for all my towing because I dont have to worry, I know they will be there

On Sunday Feb 23, 2020 This driver parked his running towtruck in front of the Hamilton Shoprite fully blocking the pedestrian path just so he could go inside and buy something. The handicapped people on scooters, the Moms with children and a full shopping cart and everyone in between, had to wait because THIS driver felt a sense of entitlement and would not park in the appropriate parking space and WALK a few feet.

I called them on 12/27/2020, a day they’re supposed to be open, and before I could even get a word out someone said don’t call here today and hung up on me. No explanation or anything. Typical rudeness you’d expect from a tow company but this was just ridiculous.

They are good people. They help you out and theyre very professional. I will recommend this place to anyone. You will feel at home. 👍👍👍

Absolutely horrible and rude, had to get my lights fixed after my car was towed. Parked in front of my building, car was towed after 20 mins on a legal park street. Wasnt even told where to find it.

This company prides itself on robbing customers and forcing them to pay cash and charging extra storage fees. Unprofessional service, with made up rules and regulations that you cant do much about because they have your vehicle. I will be contacting the better business bureau

I am beyond disappointed and angry. This is the SECOND day that we are waiting for them to take the car out of our driveway and to the body shop. We just had the rear differential repaired. Yesterday the car would not start so we called Hawks and another service. They claimed to have called so we apparently missed them. We called today and they did not show up. Thank God I’m not on the side of the road or is probably never get home.

Called them at 11am they said they’ll make it in an hour 2 hours went by i called them and they said they are on their way now 4pm still didn’t come they close at 5 I’m glad i chose to call another towing company

I would like to extend my most sincere thanks to the entire team at Hawks.On 31 JAN 19, the coldest morning of the year, at approximately 0500, my truck decided to leave me stranded. One short phone call and 10 minutes later I had a confirmation of a driver on the way. A few minutes later I had an update of the drivers arrival time down to the minute, and believe me, at 0°f this morning and no source of heat, I was watching the clock.... like a Hawk... (see what I did there).I believe the young man that rescued me today was named Zaire (apologies if I misspelled his name). The most polite and professional driver I have met, I would without hesitation return the favor to him if the need ever arose. Truly an unsung hero in my opinion.

It is Saturday afternoon, definitely after 3:30 and Hawks just towed my car from Hamilton, NJ. I call and get the answering machine and immediately they call me back. I asked where to come get my car and they tell me they close at 12 noon on Saturday and I cant get my car until Monday when they reopen. I asked if I could at least get my handicap sticker and no one could even tell me where my car is. Now I am stuck at home, thank God I had a ride home. This is unbelievable and if I have to pay for storage for anytime other than between the time they open (9 am) and the time I arrive, I will be filing an appeal. I asked if I could at least bring the police and get my handicap sticker and the gentlemen states it not the police lot and the rules are his bosss rules. So I asked if he could have his boss call me and he said No. Totally unbelievable and rude. I am not denying I was in a tow away zone but I should at least be able to pick up my car. There was no parking where I was at and after i got inside, I started having pain and had to sit for a while. I will have a lawyer look into the lawfulness and this action. I will not sit quietly!

These guys retrieved a vehicle from a parking garage with low clearance that 5 other companies said they could not retrieve. The vehicle is AWD so it needed dollies on the rear wheels, which they provided and installed. The service took about 1.5 hours from the time of my call to when they dropped it at the dealer. I could not be happier!

One of their drivers was coming down a tight street and I was going to pull forward and let him pass but he came down so fast and aggressively I didn’t want to get in a head on collision with this guy, so I started backing up and this guy is honking and flashing his lights at me. If that wasn’t enough he was screaming at me as he passed. Completely insane that aggressive drivers like that are allowed to drive big tow trucks, I thought he would run me over.

Pieces of garbage. I can understand if I have a parking permit and didn’t display. But why tow me anyway if I show it to you? And then charge me almost $200 to release my car. Pure hustle!

Trenton PD had my car towed by Hawks out of a private parking area near my home, its considered abandoned because no tags on car. Was about to sell the car for $1000. Now Im out any $...Hawks tow fee $160 signed title over to them. They just got my $1000, by the time they part out my new trans, tires, etc. So frustrated they wouldnt offer scrap value on it. Unfair business practice, taking advantage of people and their mistakes.

I hate them

Towed my vehicle at the place of my residence, the vehicle was on the premises and had a valid parking sticker on the bumper.At this point, I called the towing company from the signage posted above where my vehicle was towed, to check on to the where about of my vehicle.An unknown lady who can be described as having no people skills and customer service. A trait I believe are important, (im guessing the unknown lady described wasnt having a good day.)In a unpleasant manner she answered they are closed i was stunned, since I called way before closing time. Seeing that I dont have financial means, my main goal was to recover my vehicle as soon as possible before more fees accumulated.She would not work with me and told me to pick up the vehicle the next day at the time of the towing its was around 7PM, being that the next day I went at their opening hours which was 9 AMSince, it hadnt been 24 hours yet, I was expected to pay the fee for the one day. Once I got there I learned that I had to pay for two day which I couldnt believe. The fees was paid which nearly broke my account.Till this day other drivers are seen parking in that exact parking spot (where my vehicle was towed) without repercussions.Which Makes me wonder what about my vehicle warranted Hawks recovery and towing to tow my vehicle and put me through all this burden.

Their worker Linda Coyle is a meth head that completely crazy! She will not stop stalking me even though there is a PFA against her! Stay away!

Truth be told, Im not a happy camper.I called at 7:30AM and spoke to someone who said that the truck would be at my place between 30 to 45 minutes. Giving them the benefit of the doubt I allotted for the 45 minutes. The truck didnt show up. So I called and someone else answered the phone. She said that they were in shift change but the truck would come out shortly, quoting me 20 minutes. I gave them another 30 minutes. The truck still didnt show. I called again and she was curt and short and said that the last dude should have explained the shift change but the truck had just left and was on its way. She had a smug attitude which I didnt appreciate.Suffice it to say that Ill never do business with them again. If they were ANY type of well functioning company they would discount 50% off the dam tow or at least give us a discount. Just ridiculous. Not happy.

They are the nastiest people ever! They think they can talk to you anyway they want to because they feel as though you need them. Do not use them!!! Call another company!

From a shop owners perspective, having cars towed in can sometimes get crazy. Cody is in and out and always manages to find a way to put the disabled vehicles in a convenient spot.

Beware to people selling their vehicles and having hawk pick them up..becareful that the driver doesnt hustle you out of money that you were told you would receive..my boyfriend got a quote of 220$..we made the 2 and a half hour trip down to the car so they could retrieve it..when the driver got there he realized that things (without my boyfriends knowledge) were removed.. (the person whom let him leave the car there decided to let people help themselves to parts of it)..anyhow the driver called the office and the guy at the office then told my boyfriend he could pay 100$ which is understandable..so since there were difficulties getting the car on the flat bed my boyfriend and I loaned a hand the whole time it was being loaded..after we were finished the driver decided to tell my boyfriend that he could only pay him 80$. Come to find out he decided upon himself to keep 20$ as a personal tip for doing his job..so word of advise if the driver tries to give u less then what the guy at the office told you. Call the office before allowing them to lower the price..so after a 5 and a half round trip not only did it drop 120$ but again the driver decided himself to tip himself a nice 20$ for doing his job. Forgot to add that he then told his boss at the office that we gave it to him. Lol. Hustlers and liars. Gotta love it..but thank you to the guy in the office for responding so quickly and being polite. You were the only good thing from the whole experience

I would rather WALK or us another tow company after the stunt I just saw by one of their drivers. It explains why there’s a smashed windshield on the driver’s side.

Literally was hooking up my car when I came out and it was on new York ave where they are located at still charged me 150. Worse company ever. Hope they shut them down

They towed all the cars on my street since it was snow-covered but then closed the office for inclement weather preventing everyone from picking up their vehicles. Even the police were shocked and apologized for the inconvenience, saying that if they had known then they would have used another tow company. This is absolutely ridiculous Hawks.
