I brought both of my vehicles here and they put the wrong size filter in both my truck and mariner!!! I talked to a friend and before i got to tell my story he was telling me the same thing happened to him!! I would recommend going somewhere else! Most people were nice but the manager was rude both

Went for an oil change and they showed me a bunch of cracks in my serpentine belt. They knew I was going to Lake George with my daughters, and the assistant manager said they didnt have the belt in stock for my vehicle, but if I went to Advanced Auto, they would put it in for me..(for labor). I went to Advanced and they already had the belt out for me. The assistant manager of Valvoline, called them to have it ready for me. Thats great service!!

It is nice to just drive up, you dont have to get out of your car and they just take care of your car right there and then when youre done you just pay them and drive right off and never see them again until the next Oil Change. The gentleman directing me into the bay was so rude even driving in, I left. He pointed at his ears and advised me I should start listening to him. If youre going to ask customers to drive in to your bay, maybe the jerk on the other side should be kinder. He then yelled at me for turning my wheel and then argued when I told him I didnt. The others in the bay tried to excuse him, but he got worse. Yelled move forward then screamed stop. I had my window down and told him that I didnt need him to be so rude ands was going to the place down the road. He shouted sarcastically to have a great day. No wonder this location was empty, while I waited in line down the road. This man shouldnt go near customers. I see this wasnt a singular complaint.

I gave 3 stars because they performed the oil change. What I didnt like: they have a guy trying to sell you more products as you sit there. He told me I had 3 brake lights out and wanted to replace all three for 36 dollars. I declined and had ppl check later, thats how I found out I only have two brake lights and neither are out. After I said no the guy tried pushing the lights on me again. Since I dont enjoy it when ppl try to rip me off, it will be a long long time if I ever try this place again.

Would like to put 0 stars for the $24.99 oil change coupon. Payed more than that anyways for just a oil change by recommending us to put in a additive. Tryed to get us to pay for all kinds of stuff that was wrong with the car. Now finding out 3 months later they EVEN PUT THE WRONG OIL FILTER ON MY CAR! Save money and go somewhere else or do it yourself. Not happy

My top place for oil and other fluid changes. Very nice shop, very nice and professional people. No grime ever left on my leather seats or steering wheel.

Usually pretty decent service. Come here occasionally when to busy to change it myself. Only suggestion is to check your vehicle before you leave if you have a digital oil life reading on the dash they will not reset it. Last time I was here they lost my tire stem caps on one side of my car.

I went to get an oil change and it cost me 100 bucks. They said they replaced my drain plug and gasket, charged me 3 bucks for said replacement and didnt actually replace it. So, thats pretty rude. Then, the actual oil change cost 82.00 and they used a 5 dollar oil filter that they purchased from Autozone down the street. They were friendly and efficient though.

Went to get an oil change - had no oil leak before i went there but when i left my driveway is now covered in oil. I also got my radiator flushed since it had a bit of sludge in it from not being done and now everything smells like it is burning and it was not like that before. 300 dollars for a real headache. Ended up having to go elsewhere and pay more that what i originally did. Do not waste your money. The money you think you are saving you are going to have to spend, plus some to get it fixed by a real professional.

So I went in today for an oil change and I also replaced a filter, flushed the coolant, and got new windshield whipers. Paid 250$. Everything seemed fine until I opened my glove box hours later and there’s no spring to it, it just drops down. So I called and this sassy chick picks up and barely allows me to explain what’s wrong with it. Total B! She cuts me off while I was talking to say “well just bring it back in whenever”. So unprofessional. For the money I wasted there today I should be treated better. I’m going to get my mechanic friend to take a look at it to make sure everything was ACTUALLY done.

Do not come here for emission test. Other customers are their priority. I have been waiting for almost 2 hours An oil change customer that arrived the same time as I did. Was greeted by an associate I did not even get that treatment. The oil change customer has been gone for an hour now!!

Daughter brings my 2012 Lexus IS 250 in for an oil change and they proceed to tell my daughter it requires synthetic. Either they are scammers or just dont know how to RTFM. And, just because some Lexus dealers use synthetic oil for all their changes doesnt mean its required. This review is to provide readers with a buyer beware warning.

Went there for an oil change. They did the oil change but came out and told me there were some other repairs that I should have done, and the total price would be $370. As a woman in her 20s Ive learned to not trust everything somebody says, so I took my Jeep to my mechanic to not only learn that everything they said I needed done on my Jeep was absolutely fine, but they also made such a mess doing the oil change my mechanic though I had a transmission line leak. Safe to say I will never go there again.

Very disappointed with their service. Just had an emissions testing done. Car passed no problem, but when I went out to the car,I saw that carpeted floor mat was marred with black grease. No paper mats were used. They did a poor attempt to clean it,when I got home I also noticed grease on the interior door handle.Great timing week before Christmas when everyone is busy.

No longer offering emissions testing as of February 1st, but the employees were able to quickly offer multiple other nearby locations to get it done.

Constantly pressured to buy overpriced air filters, $22 for an air filter and around $30 for a cabin air filter, when you can get both for less then 20 on Amazon.They pressured my GF to recharge her a.c when It was working completely fine, cost around $150 for the service, her a.c stopped working 2 days later. Mechanic we took it to said the a.c was overcharged, cost us over $300 to fix it.Recently got my license plate light replaced, the trunk covering was left unscrewed and the screws and a screwdriver were left in the trunk.

Normally, i change my own oil, but recently i got lazy. Oil change went well until i noticed the oil stains in the garage. Turns out they didnt tighten the oil filter. When i brought it back they added 3 quarts. After fighting for a month, they told me that they didnt think there was any damage so they feel like they need to do anything about it. DO NOT TRUST THESE PURPLE WITH YOUR VEHICLE!!!

Took in my Mini Cooper for an oil change and they turned me away; stating that they wont work on Minis because they have a high risk. I dont know what could be high risk about draining and filling oil. I wouldnt trust them with any car after that answer

Went here for an oil change and they told me I needed to get a timing belt cause it was cracked and in really bad condition. Now you cant even see the belt on my car without taking off plastics. I brought it to a REAL mechanic who told me that it was basically brand new and still had a few years out of it.

First time at valvoline and my last. First i went here so i didnt have to get out of my car with my kid, but apparently thats not what this shop does....though the website says ypu can stay in your car. Second when a tech approached me and asked what oil I used i said i believed the cheapest as i have never spent more than 20$ on an oil change. He said hed check and go with what i used before. I believed them when they told me my car had synthetic oil and went with it. 90$ later i was on the phone with the previous shop that did my oil change who told me weve never put synthetic oil in my car before. Im furious that they took advantage of me. Was looking for something close and convenient. Maybe ill give mobil 1 a try next time because there is no way im paying 90$ for an oil change.

Used to take my car here every oil check. Two visits ago they apparently slammed my hood without locking the hood stand in properly. Came back the last time and they informed me the hood stand was broken and told me they werent responsible despite the fact they were the ones to break it. Extremely disappointed in their failure to take responsibility for their own mistakes.

They have been closed odd hours, then, when finally open, I dropped by to ask about hours and they said they were open until 6 for emissions testing weekdays. I made the trip out today at 5:15 to find that I was out of luck. Emission testing has to start before 5:00.Poor communication. No chance to try service. I wont go back.
