The staff are great and they are professional in what they are doing. I like the way they communicate with children. The children also love the environment.However, i didnt like the fact that i was asked to put my credit card information on a form with my signature to give permission for monthly auto charge and also to sign a form showing a one year contract.. i asked if i can pay cash or even on credit card every month ; i was informed no.I wish they have Payment method like other activities that we just pay for 8 weeks or 10 weeks ahead.

Great choice by my sons Mother. She chose a Great MARTIAL Arts class for our Son. The Instructors are Great and its very organized. My son had fun and it was good to see other people that Believe in Self Defense for their Children. I recommend signing up your son or daughter. Its worth every penny.

I am happy for my son to be a part of 1st Class Martial Arts he has had a great experience and is very enthusiastic about learning and practicing the moves to obtain the next color tape that indicates the specific exercise/ move to do. He admires the teachers and class partners. My son is in Discovery.

I could not be more happy with 1st Class Martial Arts for my Little Samurai. Let me take a moment to explain the wonder for this school. My son (then age 4.5) started karate just before the March 2020 shutdown. Through perseverance and ingenuity, they were able to keep their business alive. They switched to zoom classes. Then, when weather permitted, we were able to come back for in person lessons, in the safest possible way. The classes are outdoors, socially distanced. Everyone has their hand sanitizer, masks, their own punching bags, etc. I was so happy to bring my son (now almost 6) back this year. It is so good for the kids. They teach the art of karate as well as important lessons on Respect, Confidence, among many more. If you want to find a place that cares ABOVE ALL ELSE for the minds and bodies of your children, please try it.

Great class structure and great camaraderie at 1st Class. Other members are super helpful in getting you up-to-speed quickly and the instructors do a great job of pushing your skills forward.

I really like how they have set things up to protect the kids from the spread of covid. I feel comfortable taking my son to his martial arts class weekly.

1st class says it right !!! Our 2 boys 8 and 11 have been part of this martial arts program for 3 years plus, since we started here our kids are more confident and disciplined than ever !! Calvin the manager as well as Chris are great with kids and know how to keep the kids attention and focus on what their being taught.They have other events : like celebrations/ parents night out and fun activities throughout the year that really makes it fun for the boys and girls . My son has been coming here for almost a year and he loves it. Both the instructors are amazing. My son is very fond of Mr Chris, his techniques and drills have improved my sons listening and paying attention skills as 4yr old attention span can get very limited. Overall a great place to send your kids.

Pro Martial Arts have been very welcoming. We were lucky to find a great staff and friendly parents. Calvin (owner) and his team have taught my son many valuable life lessons and manners. My son is involved with basketball, soccer, swim and karate. Karate is by far his favorite. Im sure its because the instructors are great with the kids. I highly recommend the programs here.

Our 4 kids (4-10 y.o.) joined Pro Martial Arts five months ago and have come such a long way! Mr. Calvin, Mr. Chris, and Mr. Santino are all excellent instructors. Theyre great with kids. My daughter was extremely shy the first couple of classes but theyve empowered her to open up a bit more. I love that the focus is not only just on self defense but building confidence, discipline, anti-bullying, etc.

My boys and I are new to Pro Martial Arts, but I am honestly amazed. Mr. Chris and Mr. Calvin has so much patience and managed with positive reinforcement to get newcomers excited and involved, while not holding back the rest of the class. They are so patient and kind,while still getting the class moving an learning. The emphasis on self confidence, positive attitude has me convinced this is the place for us.

Ripoff they charge you for everything. It’s a school of scam. They charge if your kid is upgrading to a higher belt. Everything is charging for them. They will drain your pockets. I would not recommend this school. They are way better schools that don’t over price you like this school.

Mr. Chris and Mr Calvin does excellent work with the kids. The students are taught self confidence, control and how to handle bullies. I recommend this studio to people to learn the art of martial arts and build their confidence.

Before my son came to Pro Martial Arts in Torrance his focus in school was off,so decide to put in this karate class which help change his focus in school. He really likes here and all the Master in charge. This is a Great place for any child of all ages.

I have brought my son for almost a year he started with the little rhinos hes now in basic and I have seen a difference in his patience and attitude. They dont just learn karate they also talk about things in a way the kids understand. The instructors are very patient and call the kids by name which i love and they are being taught to respect themselves and others. I love the armor class they teach them self defense from bullies and if anyone wants to hurt them. The icing on the cake is their adult kick boxing class its a great cardio and the techniques are fantastic definitely recommended it I can occasionally even my son if I dont have a sitter

Well first of all there is to many children in one class... the way you guys make them rum may get some kids hurts... try dividing the class in two... make one group run first then the other... one kid got push because there is too many of them runing at the same time. Make at least 3 lines not jist one or 2....mean while i cant give you guys a 5 start

Great dojo my son learned disipline,respect and awareness and showed dramatic results within just 2 months of attending. The instructors here Chris and Calvin are a great team, they dont play favorites and make sure every student is involved and engaged making sure everyone is doing what they are supposed to do correctly.
