I needed a very simple repair to my laptop.Called, and in my message I left details of what needed to be done as well as my number.Never even got a call back.

Andres went out of his way to transfer my files from my old dying laptop. My “newer” laptop had issues also but Andres stayed with it and worked out the problems. I have very limited knowledge on computers (I can turn them on) so Andres explained every thing he did as well as how to access all of my files. A small business you can trust to do a good job for you!

So...I asked you what you would charge for a service...not how to do it. I know how to do it, I just dont want to deal with it, hence my email asking you what you would charge.If my first OR second email sounded like spam, then the internet must be entirely new to you. My first email was a completely reasonable, legitimate question. Your response was a question for claritys sake; I responded, clarifying my question and clearly answering yours. You never wrote back. Ignoring potential customers is poison for a real business; it obviously isnt a big deal to a guy who does this in his spare time and just calls it a business.Ill obviously take my money and business somewhere else in the future. And based on other reviews, Im incredibly lucky that I didnt actually give you a computer.

I really appreciated his knowledge and his timeliness to my imac and getting it running again. He has a great temperament, someone who is patient and very knowledgeable about his craft. I highly recommend!

I am truly satisfied with the work I had done by Whiz Kid. In fact my laptop runs better now then when I bought it!!! Andres is very knowledgeable about hardware and software. He spent the time shopping around to get me the best deal on parts, and installed them in a very timely manner. I allowed remote access into two computers at my site so that Andres could investigate overclocking a computer I own. Andres asked for the passwords to the computers which I thought strange. Andres used a remote access called instant house call to obtain the configuration of my computer to determine if over clocking was possible. I agreed to pay $30 for the research. The instant house call app left a install version on my computers which I thought strange. Andres used house call to get the configuration of the computer As stated, Andres was doing research on overclocking a Dell computer for which I verbally agreed to pay $30. Andres promised a call back in 5 minutes that never occurred. I called in on the phone that I originally contacted Andres with to see what was happening. But that call rolled over to his answering machine. So I sent 3-4 text messages to Andres. Still no response. So I called Andres on my land line which has a different number. This time he did pick up. He said was still doing research. I told him no problem but I would not be available by phone for the next hour. He asked if he could send me an email. I told him whatever worked best for him. Andres never provided the results of the research he said he was completing for me but he did send me a bill for $40 which I thought strange. Prior to this post, I sent two emails to Andres asking him what was going on. To this point the only response received either verbally or by email was the $40 bill.

Andres was able to recover pictures and business records from my hard drive that had been broken for 2 years. There were 5 years worth of pictures, many of which were of my dad who passed away suddenly 3 months ago. You cant put a price on pictures of loved ones, but the cost was more than reasonable. And he was super fast with the turn around time. I highly recommend Andres the Whiz Kid PC services to everyone!

Andres will not answer his phone or email, he wont return a call after several messages have been left. I was given a contract for services rendered, and all the work I asked for was completed promptly and at a very reasonable rate. I had a problem with my laptop. The fan was spinning really fast and making loud grinding sounds. I found out about Andres and his business from Google so I decided to check him out. He was really helpful and ordered a new fan for me and his rate for repairing my laptop was much cheaper than buying a new laptop which was what I was gonna do. But Andres had my laptop all fixed up in 24 hours and now the fan is whisper quiet and its like its brand new again! I would definitely recommend Whiz Kid to any of my friends who have problems with their computers and I wouldnt hesitate to call him again if I ever have any problems again!

Andres is a soft spoken Whiz Kid about computers! He helped me with my Mac Bk Pro laptop and my iPad. His services were fast and effective. I totally recommend going to him instead of a large computer store!

Confused about the reviews..made me want to call him but i found him very Flakey...does not want to work unless they need money for something. If you are in business run a business.. Not impressed at all. The reviews might be friends posting for him I hope not. .that is not cool.

Im very pleased with the laptop repair service I experienced with Whiz Kid. A super fast turnaround and everything worked great. I have called and texted every number, emailed, left a note on his door, knocked on his door two different times and no response. His work is good but his customer service and contact is the worst I have ever experienced. This is the second time this has happened, guess I should have learned my lesson the first time. If I ever do get my computer back, I won’t use him again.

Think of myself as computer-literate, but after a year of not being able to fix my crashing problems, Whiz-kid pc got me fixed up quickly for a very fair price.My gaming rig was having some half-cocked problems and crashing on games it should have been able to run without issue. Whizkid did a thorough diagnositc and eventually figured out my power-supply issue (a bad pin, very hard to detect cause the system still fired up, just couldnt handle heavy load, and can often mimic RAM issues). He was well resourced to be very thorough and sure enough, after we got the new supply installed, PC fired right up and my rig can finally do what I had built it for!The guy definitely knows his stuff, and hell take care of you for a very fair flat-rate price. I highly recommend this guy, whether youre needing a little assist, or youre well-versed with tech, if youve got a problem related to computers/electronics, this guy is your man!Highly recommend, if I get in over my head again with a computer issue, Im going straight to Whizkid!
