About 45 days ago, I brought my laptop computer for service... intermittent failure creating the infamous blue screen with the system shutting down and then restarting. I was never was able to replicate the failure, but it occurred more frequently with internet use. I suspected some type of software/virus problem.Top City technician Josh, after thoroughly checking systems, determined extremely quickly that it was a CPU overheating problem and repaired by replacing thermal paste on the CPU. Frankly, I was a little skeptical so I delayed my review until I was confident the laptop had been repaired.NOW, I am 100% convinced. Absolutely NO failures since repair! I was also extremely pleased and surprised when the typical service charge of $129 was reduced by 50% because of the time spent during the repair. Very pleased and appreciative of the skill shown in repairing my laptop. Highly recommend. Thank you Top City Tech --- Steve, Manuel, and Josh.

My dads laptop quit powering on. He took it in for a free estimate. Within a short time they had it working again and told him it would be free of charge. I know this wont always be the case but I thought that showed a level of professionalism and honesty not often seen. I would recommend any of my friends to go there.

I took my Dell laptop in to have it serviced following a fluid spill. The good thing is that the team at TopCity were able to get my laptop running again.However, I have a couple of criticisms (and thus just 3 stars). First, they are not good a communicating what is going on. If I wanted progress updates, I had to call them myself. Initially, this was due to the fact that they had taken my phone number down incorrectly (which, was partially my fault because I did not catch the error myself when I looked over the copy of the paperwork they gave me). However, despite giving them the correct phone number, it was still difficult to get them to phone me with updates, even when they said they would phone. For instance, I was assured that I would receive a phone call when the work was completed, but one never came. After 3 business days, I finally reached out to them, and they said that it was done..Secondly, I had some screws that were stripped out on the computer (thanks to the work of another shop). While TopCity repeatedly assured that those screws would be replaced, they never were.In short, they may be able to fix your computer, but you will probably have to check-in with them to make sure the work is being done and that your computer is not just sitting there.

This shop is great! The associate at the front, Josh, is super polite and did not try to oversell me on services. I took in my Macbook from 2013, and they made it run like it was brand new. They cleaned up the outside of it as well! Their text message service was super convenient, followed up by their friendly follow up call. 10/10, definitely recommend.

Very condescending told my wife one price over the phone then tried to charge me triple when I went in to pick up my computer simple data transfer they wanted $200 would definitely not recommend

Brought in an external hard drive with problems. They looked at it immediately and gave me the bad news within minutes. I wasnt going to pay $1,000 or more to recover photos but the quick service was appreciated.

I had taken in my gaming server to be worked on as the keyboard was having issues. Manuel stated they could order in a new keyboard from overseas, I had thought at the time I was getting a NEW keyboard so I would not have issues going further. Ended up having more keyboard issues after the initial repair. I had taken the server back in, and Manuel stated that he only changed the key caps, and not the full keyboard. Bottom line, I have MORE problems than I had when before I came initially.UPDATE: Top City Tech LLC, has rectified the problem to my satisfaction.

I took my struggling MacBook AKA Macbroke in and they diagnosed the issue and even recommended going through apple for the repair because it would be more cost effective. It really seemed like the tech was just trying to be as helpful as possible.

My husband dropped off his Nanas printer last week to get a realignment. The place was suggested by a friend. The gentleman, I suppose the owner, told him that is would be no more than three days, and that he would call him before he did any work to discuss pricing and what needed done. Fast forward to today. My husband had to call THEM, and received a call back. Apparently they had been trying to contact my husband via email, information he never supplied to them, instead of via the phone number he did supply. He was told they would CALL BEFORE work was done. Well then. Who they were emailing since last week, I dont know, bless their hearts. My husband was given a total for the work done when he was called back, even though he was told he would be contacted to discuss pricing and the work that the printer needed. $31isnt bad for what needed done, to be honest; however, the gentleman did a poor job at communicating and keeping his word. Hes a friendly man, but his scheduling and communication is obviously atrocious. Get a secretary or something to help you, buddy. Heavens forbid it had been a more expensive fix, or a different piece of equipment. A fix is a fix, I guess, no matter how mislead my husband may have been.

It is fantastic to have a local business that can see to our companies printer needs. Steve is always quick to respond and his work is always on point. Steve installed some RAM into my laptop. The process was quick and painless. Steve was very knowledgeable and suggested other programs to help my laptop run more smoothly (anti-virus, other hardware). While in the shop, another computer company from in town actually dropped off a MAC computer to Steve because they didnt know how to fix it. Highly recommend!

Steve was great!!!! I went in on a Monday and it was ready to be picked up the very next day. I explained what was going on with my laptop and he knew right away what was needed to get the problem solved. I had already taken my laptop to a different place and was told I needed a brand new hard drive and that I should just buy a new laptop. Steve was able to fix my laptop and its in great shape now. I no longer need to buy a new hard drive or laptop after taking my laptop to his store. I highly recommend going to this store for any tech needs!!!!!!!!
