If youre looking for a place where they know what theyre doing with beards this is the spot. I havent been able to go throughout the pandemic and Im hurting. Having a unique hairstyle half my life, most barbers would have a hard time figuring out how to cut my hair. Sick shop, anyone that says prices are high doesn’t know what quality is. The barbers pay attention to detail and give you an amazing cut every time. Every barber makes a persona connection with you and it’s a great time going. I even go an hour early to talk with the guys. The owner greets you immediately and is a great guy. Dave’s a little weird but still cool. If you need a barber, this is an 11/10 spot. And you can take that to the bank

Incredible experience. Walked in wanting a new haircut (had the same style for 7 years) and trusted Dorian. He did a fantastic job.This is the first barber shop I’ve been in where the crew is decidedly collegial. One barber may turn to another and ask “hey, I’m thinking about doing X, do you think it would work on him too?” I appreciate that. Multiple opinions- especially from master barbers- are welcome.The atmosphere is fantastic. Group of barbers who joke around, talk about fantasy football, and may even throw a movie on. They took their time and made sure I left happy with a great cut. Highly recommend!

Good atmosphere and nice people. Nate did my cut and did a good job with the little hair left he had to work with. If you go, ask for him. And for the people saying it’s expensive, it truly is not. You’d pay the same price if not more going to a super cuts or great clips, And these people actually care about the finished product and know what they’re doing.

True Masters of the craft.I’m not from Buffalo and when I moved out here I tried 3 or 4 other shops and was never really happy with my haircut. A friend recommended Jonny about two years ago and I’ll never let anyone else touch my hair. Jonny’s skill and expertise is unmatched. The fact that atmosphere is awesome and he’s genuinely a great guy helps too. 15/10 recommend!

Back to one star because by now the owner lost my number and wont harass me about a bad review. Place is very high school, pricey and the skill level is not above most other barbers. They do a decent job but, there are better places. Delaware location is too small and claustrophobic for me 2 stars because the cuts are indeed decent, -3 for price and the high school vibe, -1 because the owner.

Best barbershop there is. Dave is an amazing barber. He is extremely detailed and professional. My hair has never looked as good as it does now. Highly recommend Dave to give you the best cut you’ve ever had!

The environment was great when you walked in. They really wanted to get me in as soon as possible, taking an appointment for in the morning. But then thats when things got dicey. I walked in with a huge fro, due to that being my normal hair, known as basically the Buffalo Bob Ross, and I went in with the expectations that they would listen to their clients. I sat down in the chair that was 100% looking away from the mirror, and my barber asked what we were doing, trying to push a fade on me. I have never had a fade, nor did i want a fade. My hair is a fro, so I said two inches all around. On the tops, and the sides. He started up the buzzers and started to work. Half way through, he informed me that he gave me a fade. My heart sank, and I walked out of their lying through my teeth saying I liked it because he just worked for forty minutes doing something I did not want. I do not think I will ever go there again due to them not listening to my request as to what I wanted with my hair and pushing me to get a hair cut that I personally did not want.

To these guys, its a craft and clearly a passion. Liked the vibe. Appreciate the flexibility of getting me right in. About due for another visit and will go here from now on. Just a higher quality cut than any standard salon or hair shop. A cut above the rest for sure.

As a former military guy - I’m used to hack jobs at barber shops around military bases. Jonny the Barber is CERTAINLY NOT THAT! The vibe is chill and professional. The talent on the cuts is top notch (Dorian is my guy - he’s awesome). If there’s a wait - it’s short and easy.

Great haircut and service, the barbers here care about the job they do and provide a quality cut. The building and interior is especially nice.

Jonny has been the only man to give me haircuts for 8+ yrs now, and his professionalism, consistency, and commitment to his craft have made it impossible NOT to follow him from getting cuts in his parents garage to the current convenience of 2 locations. I waited 45 minutes and no one asked if I had an appointment or that had to make an appointment I was the only guy waiting and 3 barbers said nothing for 45 mins???? Come on...and no he did not say 2hrs he said they were booked til tomorrow at 2pm....now never ever in my life have i waited that long to even get a response from a haircutting place ridiculous

Some just want to stop in on their way home and see whoevers available for a cheap shortening of their hair. Some want the hometown grandfather, his son, and his sons son, who have been selling nickel gumballs from an old machine and running his razor up and down the leather strop while the red and white striped pole spins outside.You know if Jonny The Barber is your kinda place pretty much as soon as you walk in. The place has a decidedly modern masculine interior without being too aggressive with it - black metal supports wood benches and a waiting table, two TVs angled with sports on on them, the room looks clean and sleek, just like the team of barbers that are there, sharply dressed and with crisp cuts, mostly between 20s and early thirties id say. A display of a few products on the wall, but not crowded in any way, and no front desk, because this is the kind of place you make an appointment directly with YOUR barber.I said team because thats what the crew of barbers seem like - they all seem to take their cuts very seriously while also throwing back and forth banter between themselves and the patrons that wanted to talk- about sports, what they did last night, anything. A very chill, open vibe, a bunch of dudes shooting the shi.... shooting the breeze.As for the haircut, my guy is Nate, and I dont think Ive ever felt a barber as personally invested in a haircut as I have here. It feels like at the end hes not just done, hes actively trying to study the cut and make little adjustments to really make it as good as possible, like someone fretting over the final few strokes of an artwork, making an extra little brush here and there.Make no mistake, when you go here youre getting the barbershop experience, not in and out in 20 minutes for a ten dollar cut. But again, if the barbershop experience is your sort of thing, when leaving I feel like even I kinda looked the the modern, stylish, rugged guy in one of those GQ/black and white ads for a classic watch.

First time going here was great. I also appreciate that when a mother walked in with her son they changed the radio station (was on a rap station), very respectful crew.

I’m not sure what the negative reviews are for. It’s pricy because you buy a solid product. If you want Supercuts prices go there. The guys know what they’re doing and they’re the best in the area, there’s a reason NFL and NHL players come here. I even got a parking ticket across the street and the owner gave me some free product to make up for the inconvenience.Anyway, run in there and get a cut.
