Absolutely the best in town. The dentist is gentle and kind very informative and overall great. Ashley the hygienist does an amazing job with cleanings. Never had I gotten a cleaning like hers before very gentle without hurting my gums. Lisa at the front desk is amazing. The assistants great! Overall best dental team.

Just wow. I visited Tigard Family Dental for a cleaning, routine exam, and then came back to have them remove my upper wisdom teeth. I wish I could leave these ladies more than five stars! From start to finish, their whole staff exuded professionalism and care unlike any dental office I have been to before. Lisa, the front desk person, was very cordial and welcoming both over the phone and in person for my visits. The dental hygienist, Ashley, was thorough in my cleaning and helped me understand why daily flossing, fluoride toothpaste, and cutting back on sugar are so important. I now realize how much of my dental health falls on me and Im now more conscious of sugar and set a reminder to floss every day. Dr. Alex and her assistant, Jessica, did an amazing job of ensuring that I was comfortable and fully understood what was going on and why. I was apprehensive about having my wisdom teeth pulled and kind of scared, but Dr. Alex spoke with me in a way that made me feel so comfortable and calm before and during the procedure. The actual procedure went so quickly and was over before I even had time to think about it. I feel so lucky to have stumbled upon Tigard Family Dental and cannot recommend them enough! Thank you all so much!

Amazing place with caring people. I’ve lived in over ten states and had over ten dentists and these are the best! High tech equipment, thoughtful of your comfort. They see you on time which is important to me. Highly recommend!

Very supportive people as a dentist, very well managed and understand your health. They make patients comfortable with blankets and less worries. It will be nice if could add a small tv cartoon like Disney for kids and adults. I like them very well and very respectful as a gender and believe. Wonderful dentist. Trying to find a new dentist is stressful so Im so grateful to have found a dentists office where the entire team is friendly and puts you at ease for your visit! Generally going to the dentist fills me with anxiety but Tigard Family Dental is a totally different story and they do a great job. They answered all my questions and never made me feel like I was asking a dumb question!! I would definitely recommend them if you are looking for a new dentist!

Very pleased. My first time visiting Tigard Family Dental and had a good first experience. Both Dr. J and Dr. A were gentle with me! Felt easy and ready to talk to them about my future plans. As well as they were helpful with finding information for my next steps!

Absolutely wonderful, and trans friendly!!!The person at the front desk, both assistants I spoke to, and the dentist herself were very nice, as well as professional, and quite good at their jobs, as well as good at communicating very clearly.They asked my pronouns when I arrived, and me being transgender was respected without them making a fuss about it. One assistant in particular, I believe her name was Ashley? noted my pronouns in the chart, and asked me unprompted if she was using the correct one first thing. (this is all kind of a big deal for trans folks-- we dont usually get any respect for our genders, or people make such a fuss you feel a bit like an aberration.)The dentist and her assistants were extremely kind, and willing to answer all my questions, as well as doing things to make me comfortable--- including letting me hum all the way through the procedure because it calmed me down, haha!The results look lovely. Ill update this review in a few weeks to let you know if everything continues to look correct!

I have been to many dental offices and this is by far one of the best!! Friendly staff and fantastic dentistry. Office manager, Lisa has been super helpful with coordinating appointments and insurance explanations/billing. Dr. Alex, her assistant Jessica, and the hygienist Ashley do outstanding work!! I cant say enough good things about this office. If youre looking for a dental office that makes you feel like family, this is the one!!

My family and I have been coming to Tigard Family dental since 2017 and have never been happier with a dental team as we are now. We love Tigard Family Dental! The receptionist Lisa always greets my family and me with a smile when we walk in and gives us friendly reminder calls. Like most children, my two sons were nervous about seeing a dentist. but since we have been coming to Tigard Family Dental they dont seem to mind a trip to the dentist. When they have had anxiety about a specific treatment such as fillings or a root canal, Dr. Stacey, Dr. Rob, and the assistants took their time to explain what it is they were going to do and would wait until they could tell that my boys were ready for their procedure. They you Tigard Family Dental for keeping our smiles beautiful!!!!

I had a really nice experience at this office. From the very beginning I was welcomed into their family. I have many dental issues, so I was looking for a clear explanation of the treatment I needed. This is definitely was I received. My cleaning was great, then I met the doctor and he was really caring & understanding about my dental needs. We came up with a treatment plan and I have nothing but great things to say about them. Thanks for everything!!!

I am new to Oregon and am so glad I chose Tigard Family Dental. The entire staff provides exceptional care and service. I have never had such a thorough cleaning. This was an amazing experience. I was never afraid of the dentist but I was never thrilled either. But the staff here are fantastic. They are super kind and up-beat, while also being very professional. They make sure to tend to your needs and care about the quality and the comfort equally. I recently switched dentists, and Im glad I did. Ashley one of the assistants who did my cleaning was very sweet. She made sure I was comfortable and had very good bed side manners. I met with Dr. McKinney for the exam/x-rays. He was very personable, and took the time to explain my future treatments and answer questions I had. I definitely had a good experience, and will be returning to Tigard Family Dental!

My whole experience was phenomenal. Lisa at the front went above and beyond helping figure out my coverage, Ashley was so gentle and thorough, and Dr Rob was as well. Having always had anxiety related to dental work this was refreshing to be cared for so exceptionally! Highly recommend.

For the most part I have been completely disappointed with this Dental clinic. The hygienists seem to be fine.I have been a patient there for approximately three years and in that time I have had three or four dentists. It is apparently a training ground for dentists and then they go on somewhere else.For me this does not work well and I am looking for a different provider. I am relatively sure that I had a root canal done on a tooth that did not need it in fact should have been done on the adjacent tooth. And then try and go back and follow up in its a different dentist with different ideas.Unfortunately I would not recommend anyone becoming involved with this Dental clinic.

Cant say enough about Tigard Family Dental!! My family has been coming here for years. My kids nor I have ever felt the shot. The staff is so nice. They make us feel like family. The work of the Dr is as always amazing. We always leave smiling! 😃

I have severe dental phobia and have had many bad experiences. I recently started going to Tigard Family Dental and was very quickly put at ease. They are incredibly sensitive to the level of my phobia, are always touching base to make sure we are all on the same page regarding my needs, and have gone out of their way to lay put a detailed plan for my immediate and extensive dental needs along with a financial breakdown that I can easily understand. I was able to meet with Dr. McKinney and he was more concerned about my needs and tolerance than he was about making money off of me. For the first time in my life Im actually excited to go to the dentist!

I had a fabulous experience here. Everyone was super kind to me and pleasant. I needed a filling and Dr. Rob and Jessica made it so that getting numb wasnt NEARLY as bad as past fillings Ive had!

I will NOT ever be coming back here. The dentist I saw twice he was in a hurry, seems nice but is way too much in a rush. Injected me with numbing shots over 8 times before he used the bigger one. Im also pregnant which its safe but when he used it he put the needle up in a place where it shouldnt go shot a pain all the up to my eye. My mouth is in so much pain, he filled 5 fillings then wanted to do a cleaning? Are you kidding me. I cant feel my face you still have to do the other side and you want to clean my teeth. No, wait till after. Two, the pain yes some is normal the sharp pain in my cheek up to my eye. Not normal. My teeth are way more sensitive than when I went in there. I cant even drink cold or like warm water on that side now. Before I went I could at least drink cold things for the most part. He was sloppy with the fillings and put silver when he was suppose to do white after he finally got the spacer in. I will be finding a different dentist to finish the process and clean my teeth. The front desk lady is rude, glares at you, and is the most unfriendly human being for a receptionist you can have. Why is she still there? That is Unacceptable for customer service. The dental assistant I had was the nicest person there. Thats the only nice thing I have to say about that place. Do not waste your time, or money. Just very unprofessional and the dentist has no clue what hes doing, at all whatsoever.

Dr Han and his dental assistants and office personal, are incredible. They go they extra mile for you and make going to the dentist a very good experience. Dr. McCullough is fantastic. He walks you through everything he’s doing really well, and doesn’t ask you questions while his hands are in your mouth (a real win in my book haha).

The three or four times I have been here I have had only great experiences with this dental practice! The hygeinists as assistants are so nice and the dentist was so kind to take care of me even though I got the date wrong and they had a full schedule.

I have been going to this dentist over 5 years. I havent always enjoyed it. Sometimes, Rebecca has been short with me or one of the assistants, but sometimes, they were all really friendly (thats why a 2nd star). I have been seen by 4 different dentists here, they seem to switch often. These last few months have been the worst. First, I was informed after 6 months that my insurance did not pay their part. I contacted my insurance company and they informed me that they never got the information they requested from the dentist, explaining how Dr. Han diagnosed the fracture in my tooth. When I told Rebecca this, she became defensive about the narrative and told me that my insurance company is so difficult to deal with and that her sister has the same insurance and it was hard to get them to pay, they finally had to send the whole chart for them to pay on her sisters claim.I said, fine, I will talk to them, what have you sent them? She was only able to give me 1 piece of paper with a short narrative. I asked if she had their fax number and she did not. I told her exactly what the insurance company needed and she told me to come in and get my records and send them my chart myself because she was done with it after only 1 attempt. She asked why, couldnt they see the fracture on the x-rays? (it was inside the tooth and would not have been on x-rays, Dr. Rebecca). I felt like she did not work nearly as hard on my claim as she had on her sisters. After several phone calls to my insurance company and agencies that laughed because patients never call themselves, I finally got a better narrative e-mailed to me without a heads up or phone call. I sent that in to my insurance and they paid the claim, easy-peasy. I have yet to hear from them or get an apology, but I have heard from a collection company for an amount that is due after my insurance paid, that I never agreed to or knew of before.In the meantime, I had a filling that had come out and another that was loose. Dr. Evie fixed those for me. The one filling I did not feel was ample and slanted. She said she left it that way because of my bite, but it still gives me discomfort. She refused to fill it anymore because I will just break it again in a couple years. While she fixed the other filling, she chipped the bottom of my front tooth. When I came back in to show her, she told me I did it when grinding my teeth (I must do this in my sleep because I have never done it knowingly). I asked her either way if she could fill it and she said no because I grind and that I would need a crown. I have never had a dentist tell me no, they wouldnt fill something, even if I broke it again. There are too many other dentists to bother with going to these guys again.

It was the worst experience I have ever had! I was in extreme pain when I went to the office to start with and it only got worse . I received a root canal and i was not fully numb. I tried telling the dentist over and over i was not numb and he patted my leg saying your just a nervous nelly. I had a dental dam in my mouth and could not talk and tears rolling down my face the entire time.He i was grunting to him stop stop it hurts and loudly sobbing The sweet dental assistant was the only reason I made it through the procedure. I was told I would have a payment directly taken out of my checking account . Now 7 months later they are sending me a statement saying they forgot to debit it from my checking so i have a bill of 62.00. I feel like I should not have to pay them a dime due to the anxiety and emotional terror this man put me through. I will pay the bill so i dont blemish my credit score . I would warn you DO NOT use this dental office it has been the worst dental experience to date!!! Go a little farther and research other dental offices in the area you will regret it if you choose this office!

I just went in to ask a couple of questions and the girl at the front was short with me and unfriendly.I would not recommend this place at all!

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER ... I mean .. E-V-E-R !!!Got to the office right after drinking a nice cup of coffee, not knowing that they would check my blood pressure (I thought I was going to the dentist ..... not to the doctor)Dentist woman goes ahead, check my blood pressure and says that I should go to the doctor to check myself up because Im a pre-hypertension person. (keep in mind that Im a healthy person! No issues whatsoever with my health THANK GOD!)They then take the x-ray of my teeth and ask me to lay down because theyre going to clean my teeth now.All of a sudden, the woman from the front desk shows up in the middle of my teeth cleansing stating that my insurance DOES NOT cover this type of procedure and they are giving me an option:- > To leave the office right on spot. If I did it they wouldnt charge me anything and everything would be good to go.The woman from the front-desk continued saying that they called my insurance and she said my insurance starts being effective only on JULY 1ST and not JUNE 1ST. < -**** This event happened in the first weeks of June,2016 ****Keep in mind that I called my insurance a way BEFORE going to this place, and my insurance STATED that I WAS OK to go to the DENTIST and EVERYTHING ELSE since JUNE 1ST. Besides I got documents supporting that as well. (I EVEN SHOWED the woman of the frontdesk all the documents that I got from insurance stating the same.)In summary, I felt like I got kicked out of the dentist and WASTED my AFTERNOON going there. So many VERY IMPORTANT things I had to do, but because of this AWFUL experience, I literally had WASTED my time going there.However, just now .. couple days ago ... they called me back asking me if I want to go back there to finish teeth cleansing. The woman of the front desk also said that the x-ray and the teeth cleansing (that never happened) from last month (June, 2016) would be charged.I just now called my insurance and they stated that they never received not even a phone call from Tigard Family Dental office. Not even A SINGLE CLAIM!!!

They have the worst secretaries in the front office. They are not welcoming, nor are they helpful when asked simple insuarance coverage questions. The new male dentist is racist and doesnt sincrely care about his patients. Wouldnt recommend it. They only care about people who they can gain the most money from.

While getting a cleaning here the hygienist pulled out my filling and since I missed my appointment they will not fix what they did on my tooth. This place has horrible customer service and policies. I dont recommend going here.
