Great barber shop. Dont remember the name of the guy who cut me, but he was super chill and gave a fantastic fade like it was nothing. $30 for a mens cut and worth it because he really knew what he was doing. Maybe the best cut Ive ever had.

Very down-to-earth, earnest and funny people. All of them are great to work with. Ive never had to wait longer than maybe 8-10 minutes during even peak hours to get my hair cut, yet they never rush their work and take the time to make sure youre satisfied with what theyve done.My biggest problem with most barbers as a guy with thick, longer hair is that most of them employ people who (I can say that several have admitted this openly to me) let you show them what you want and then just sort of ignore it and go with their gut on what they believe works best for you in that ballpark.You will NOT find that at The Woodlands Barber Shop, not unless youre just crazy unrealistic with expectations vs the hair you have to work with. They listen, they ask questions, they know that YOURE the one who will have to see your hair in the mirror every day.If YOURE not happy with it, theyve done a bad job, no matter how good they think it looks. They understand that.You can trust these folks to send you walking out with a smile.

I brought my nephew who is new to Houston to this barber shop last week. My nephew explained to the barber how he likes his hair so my nephew thought there was nothing to worry about. Right after his haircut finished, he saw his hair and it wasnt how he described it at all! Plus he paid $20+ for it, super disappointing. If youre new to Houston or like your hair a specific way, I recommend not going to this barber shop. Im pretty sure there are much cheaper and so much better than this place. 1/10

Place could look a little more presentable and clean but the barber knew how to cut and did his job. It was not busy at all around the 12p hr.

I recently moved to Houston and was looking for a good barber. The only reason I give this place two stars is because it looked like the other barbers knew what they were doing. My barber was the first gentleman on the left. I showed him a picture of the exact haircut I wanted. I even explained it to him and he said no problem I’ll make you look great. I wasn’t paying attention at all and I was his last customer of the day. I felt like he rushed me the entire time. It cost $25 for a basic haircut. No shave or anything. When I went home, I checked my haircut out and seeing that he left it not tight at all. I seen the other barbers doing great jobs with their other clients, so I can only blame that one guy for ruining my haircut. I wouldn’t recommend going unless you want to waste money getting a haircut that you didn’t ask for.

Good people and quality craftsmanship. Cant go wrong with Achilles or Doug. I personally have not had a haircut from anyone else there but Im sure they are all great. Best haircuts Ive ever had from this shop!

Brought my two year old here today, and this is by far the best service we have received in the Woodlands and haircut. The staff is super friendly and do excellent work. My husband goes here as well and refuses to let anyone else touch his hair.

I took my son here and didnt know what to expect. I will say Doug did a fantastic job! He was professional and took his time with my son. I dont typically take my son to the barber shop, I leave this to my husband. However, I was so pleased with our visit that I plan on returning. Doug also wished my kid a good 1st day back to school tomorrow! Plus, it was refreshing to hear my 7 year old son say he liked his cut and to see the big smile on his face. 😁

Went to get an Edge-up, and ended up getting a full haircut. The lady was very through, and spent a little extra time getting my hair looking nice. I had a wedding to attend, so the added time was worth it to me. After she was finished, she used air to blow away the lose hair, which is an added bonus. My hair has a way of making me itch like fiberglass. I was also sprayed with a cologne, and I could smell it throughout the day.Definitely my new place to get a haircut.

Its a great shop. Good vibes, family friendly great customer service, and clean cuts every single time. I like how they ask you exactly what you want, clarify and pay attention to detail. The beard trim and shave will have you walking out feeling icy!

Always hesitant when finding a new barber. Luckily I found Nick at this location. Very skilled barbers here. Cant find a bad barber. Thankful for Nick and his fade skills.

I am regular customer. Never had any complaints. But today, the guy I got my haircut from, (first chair on the left as you enter) was very bad. He was rushing through the haircut and also my shave. I asked for a fade on the side and he pretty much made it even though out on the side. He rushed through the shave and in the process made a cut in top of my upper lip area. Didnt even apologize. It was evident that he was involved in his football discussion rather than focusing on the cut. Again, the place is good, all the barbers I have been to have been very good except this one gentleman I that cut my hair today.

Back to the good old days barber shop with hip style barbers. Custom look for each client and no one style fits all. The guys love what they do and treat customers with class and fun. Saving $100 a cut now and happier with result.

Went in today for the first time, havent been to a barber shop in years. Definitely a kick ass atmosphere with friendly people. My cut was golden, wasnt sure what I wanted but Blake aka Flako got me looking great! Definitely gonna be going back here!

My son has ridiculously thick curly hair and I have literally taken him to over 20 stylists in his 12 years of life, none of which were able to cut his hair. I saw this place today by chance and thought Id try the barber approach. I had no clue what to expect because Ive never taken him to a barber shop. Matt took him right in and told me I wouldnt need to go anywhere else, he couldnt have been more right. It was the most welcoming environment but most importantly Matt gave my son his first great haircut. My son loves it which makes me happy and I will never go anywhere else again. This place is fantastic!!!

This barber shop seemed nice at first, but then the guy messed up my hair completely. I specifically asked for a mid skin fade and showed the guy pictures of my haircut which was more like a quiff. The guy ended up giving me a high fade with a bald spot. I felt like the guy was rushing when he was cutting my hair. He literally cut so much of hair in the top and side of my head to the point where it you can’t even style it. I ended up with some kind spiked mohawk which was completely different from the picture I’ve shown. This was the worst haircut I’ve ever had and I’m very disappointed with the service. I would not recommend getting your haircut here because it’s not worth $25.

They do a great job of cutting hair, but I worry about how clean they are. They dont sweep between cuts and the clippers had lots of hair on them before they were used on me. I get that they are trying to get to people fast, but its not a good practice. I still give them 4 stars because they do great haircuts.

For the guy that says he was turned away at 5 20 PM today by a guy at the front door, these guys in here work hard and do their jobs and keep us and our kids heads up and looking good, its a friendly environment and have never seen anybody turned away . As a matter of fact my kids and I are still here due to it being busy, but everyone is welcomed in this shop and always satisfied leaving out the door .I am responding to this comment because Ive been here since about 4 45 PM and sitting right here next to the door . My son is 5 years old and I was looking a barbershop that appealed to his age. Unfortunately, we werent able to find one that he liked until we came across this barbershop. The guys are great and they have the patience to deal with my son and talk to him in a manner that appeals to him. We both love this place.

This place is like a whole in the wall but I am so glad I found it because I met a talented barber named Jeff! I was so afraid my son would have a bad haircut because once we sat on the chair he started hollering, kicking and everything a child can do to embarrass their mommies. Anyways, as much trouble as my son was giving him he did a great job and I was truly amazed by his work on a moving child! Thank you for your patience and customer service. I will be going here again.

These guys are great. They might charge a couple bucks more than Great Clips or Super Cuts but the customer service is WAY better. If youre still going to any of those other guys, STOP! You have to try these guys out.

Recently having relocated to the area Ive been looking for a quality barbershop. I accidentally discovered this place during a weekday drive.Initially I was a little anxious, being particular with my barbers, but decided to give it a try. Ive thus far been there twice and have been cut by two different barbers.Suffice to say, this is now my shop. No having to drive across town or do the barber experiment no more for this guy.The place is clean, convenient and from what Ive observed, the staff is professional. If you reside nearby and are on the hunt for a quality barber, stop through and give these fellas a try. You wont regret it.

Finally it looks like he finds one that works, but he has to sit there and tinker with it with a screwdriver. Then while hes cutting, he made the most lazy attempt at blowing off the excess hair, letting it all land around my eyes, mouth, and magically, even in my ears.Is this place even a business?Quality:This was one of the worst haircuts Ive ever had. Probably *the* worst. And it is also literally the most expensive haircut Ive ever paid for. $25. Yeah right. I showed my barber, Doug or whoever, what I wanted. I showed him on a video, and I also explained that i was looking for a medium fade. One that leaves a little bit of hair on the side of your head. Look at me now, he didnt even stop at the side with a high fade, he kept going up into the top of my head. Its like a botched attempt at a mohawk. I never speak up and cause a scene in the store, maybe I mightve if the barbershop actually carried some product so I could get an idea what my hair would look like when styled. I had no choice but to walk out, practically not even knowing what my cut looked like.

I made an appointment days in advance for a 9am Tuesday (their shop opens at 8am), and when I arrived on time for my appointment, the shop was closed, and nobody answered the phone. That was yesterday, and nobody from WBS has tried to contact me about my confirmed appointment. This is the first and last time I try WBS, as they very clearly dont hold a customers time in high regard.

I went to get my hair cut there for the first time since moving down the street. I had been driving down to Aldine Westfield before because it was the closest place I could find a barber that did a good job. Not anymore! This barbershop is my new barbershop. The barbers are cool, Houston pride all over the walls and most importantly a tight fade. Ask for Aquilles. No promises on the spelling.

I read the reviews and have a friend who recommended the place. I just went there and showed up at 5:20p and they have the door locked. Their sign says that they are open until 6. There are people in there, but the guy in front of the door shakes his head no at me. Ooookay...Not really the best first impression for a business, unfortunately.

Awesome place! Unlike other barbershops they get through a wait quickly and have a list at the front if they have alot of people coming through. Be sure to sign in.Ive had my hair cut by multiple people at this establisment and the best person for the job has got to be Kelly. Shes super nice and will listen to what you want while giving honest advice about any questions you may have with a certain style you want to go with.I also tried their Suavecito gel they sell at the front for $15 since Im a big user of American Crew ($20) and Suavecito does the job way better. Ask for them to put some in your hair when you get it cut (its free) to try it out.

I came in on 8/19/16 and usually have the girl (kelly) cut my hair and she does a fantastic job and always makes sure to give the cut that is asked for. However today I came in and i let another barber cut my hair because there was quite a line and i was in a bit of a hurry. Im not sure of his name, but he is a taller hispanic guy. Anyways I told him before he started that i wanted a comb over with a hard part, faded to a zero and tapered around my ears, with an edge up for a very clean look. He didnt fade it at all, didnt taper it, and when he did the hard part he didnt part it in the same spot as it had been previously parted.. so now my hair parts in 2 places and its going to be a solid 2 months before i can get that fixed. very disappointed considering that i tell everyone how great this shop is. I feel like instead of getting the cut i asked for, i got the cut he wanted me to have.

Ive been a regular customer ever since they initially opened but recently I received what I believe was the worst haircut Ive had. I typically dont mind which barber cuts my hair because I usually keep it simply with just my sides being trimmed down and its hard to mess that up. I went to a barber who I figured was new and he was the only one available so i told him to only trim the sides down and just clean up my beard. This haircut was so tragically done that I was stricken with embarrassment when he finished and I paid and left. I went back inside a few minutes later and demanded my refund. The only good thing I can say about that experience is that the owner agreed to my 35$ refund. Thankfully I went to a different barber at a different place and he gave me a bald fade to correct the errors that were made. Later that day, bright red cut marks appeared where he attempted to edge me up and was tender to the touch. That barber must of not had his barber license.

NEVER GO HERE EVER !!!!!!!!!!Showed a picture of the haircut I wanted and was given something totally different, even after I said numerous times what I wanted the barber gave me the haircut he wanted me to have rather than what I wanted. I dont reccomend that anyone go here.
