First time getting a wax. I’m pretty sure I’m not supposed to have patches of hair still left all over my body. I was expecting to not have any hair left but as you can see spots were missed and I still even tipped.

Went here for the first time and loved it! Ask for Paige she’s great. Already booked my next appointment :)

This was my first time waxing in a very long time and Katalina was amazing. She made sure to keep conversation flowing so I was focused on that and made this a painless experience! I will be back!

Well, upon arrival I was about 6 minutes late. That being said, during this Covid experience, I await on one to walk out in order for me to walk in. Now, when I called a gal by the name of Christine or Christina did not mention anything about a 4 minute late policy so, I had to reschedule! It was my first time for everything in this experience. An 11:45 appointment turned in to a 3:30pm appointment. I had to reschedule a meeting to this affect.I may consider rating it a 5 star on my next visit.My consultant/wax gal (Dulce) was awesome! She was definitely a pro!! However, they are good about placing items in your possession and you feel that you have to purchase.

Very disappointed!!! This service was completely unacceptable!! I was 4 minutes late to my 6:15 appointment. Walked into the Waxing place and the receptionist quickly told me I had to reschedule because of a 4 minute late policy which I was not aware of. She was very rude and was not helpful AT ALL. In order to squeeze my Brazilian wax in my husband had to cancel his 6:45 appointment because the lady that was going to do the wax name Britney was not there to do the service. So a new lady told us it will take her 30 minutes to do a Brazilian Wax. Got the Brazilian Wax done and took her all of ten minutes and she rush through process did not even wax me completely and was not professionally done. Got done around 6:45. I asked the receptionist if my husband can still get his Brazilian wax done but the receptionist insisted that he get it another time since they have other customers appointments after his. As a place of business you should not treat people disrespectful and be able to accommodate whether a customer is late or not. Don’t have to worry about us coming back to this place again!

Great experience with first time wax! However the front staff was not the most attentive.

I have never routinely got waxes, but this location is nearby to my new home and wanted to give it a try. The staff has never been pushy and the front desk ladies always seem nice even though they are very busy! It’s a little chaotic in the studio due to quick appointments and such a small area. My first wax was a little intense because I had not had one in quite a while and it all happened very quickly. Could be bad for people who have absolutely never had a wax in their life as the atmosphere is amped up.Honestly, after my second wax I love it. The quick appointments which scared me at first are great and convenient. And the music helps get your mind off the pain. It’s just a good place to go if you want to be in and out and have a nice, upbeat energy around you.

Scheduled an appointment @ 11 & drove to location 30 mins from home to be told my appt was moved to 12:30 without any heads up or call. I’ve been going to this location for over a year and this is the second problem I’ve had with them

The people are nice. The waxing was mediocre. The lady who worked on me- I’m assuming it was her first day or she’s very new? She knew it was my first time there- she didn’t talk to me about what after care products she was putting on my skin.. she assumed I had no allergies or objections to using talcum powder- which isn’t great on skin (look it up). Nor did she consult me about how I’d like my brows done. She kept talking with her face away from me which made it difficult to understand what she was saying with her mask on. She needed to pause and make eye contact with me to engage before speaking.If you’re looking for a relaxing experience - especially first thing in the morning... I wouldn’t recommend here. The loud music, again especially first thing in the morning, made it feel like I was in forever21 instead of enjoying a relaxing experience.For the prices charged - it’s important to make sure the client has a complete full body experience. Their bodies should feel like they’ve had a full body massage even if they just had their brows done. My mind was buzzing from the music - not exactly how I wanted to start my day.The atmosphere and culture here may be for some people but absolutely NOT for me.

Stephanie is fantastic!! It was my first time and she walked me through the experience and it was amazing! I loved the vibe I got. It was professional, but relaxed! The music they played at the time helped too it wasnt just elevator music. It was music we could focus on and jam out to. The front desk staff was also incredible. I have never had an experience as awesome as this one and I cant wait to come back in 4 weeks!

Dont know what kind of business will not only charge a hefty $$ for their services but also keep charging my CC every month $10, what for? I tried calling these guys and you know what there is no one to answer the phone and their message system is full so you cant leave a voice message.

I love India at The Colony location! She’s super sweet with an awesome personality! India has always done such a great job and I wouldn’t change her for anyone! I live in McKinney and I still make the drive to come see her when I’m ready for a wax! Need an amazing waxer go see India!!!!

Amy at the reception was very friendly. Th is was my first brazilian wax in this location. it was Amazing! Holee was very friendly and she did a magnificent job. And blue hair chick(forgot her name🙈) great job on the eyebrows. If you are used to paperwax, this will feel like heaven. Barely any pain. I bought a whole package of different waxes. I will definitely be back and bring friends along. Nice decor too, and place smells good 😊

*****UPDATE********Ms. Trilla, you’re an amazing woman and an even better salon manager. Not even a day later, after writing my review I received a personal text expressing her deepest compassion and true concern on my overall experience and first visit. Me not being a happy camper was NOT okay with her and she made sure she fixed it.I will be returning to this location as my wax home for the duration of my wax services. I can’t thank you enough Ms. Trilla!!!!First time wasn’t as horrible as I expected it to be. I will say Jordan did not have any personality. You could definitely tell she was doing this as a “first time,courtesy wax”. I will not return to this location for that reason.

I have a regular appointment every 6 weeks and I am never disappointed. The staff is so friendly and they make the process so easy!

I was nervous, yet looking forward to my first Brazilian wax. I live nearby this location and after reading some reviews online I decided to give Depil a try (no specials being offered). Scheduling process over the phone was smooth and I believe you can do so online as well. Arrived for my appointment and was greeted as I walked in. The lobby was small but they have a couple of seats for you while you wait. Went back to the room and was given a few minutes to get undressed and on the table. They have nice pop/r&b music playing which I tried to zone in on but couldnt help but be distracted by the echos from the other rooms and front staff because of the open airflow above the rooms. A couple of minutes later the tech knocked and asked if I was ready. We are all familiar with doing the butterfly but it was extremely hard because the table was flush against the wall. I was not educated on the process or coached through with breathing techniques. I was only asked a couple of questions like; When I shaved last. If Id ever waxed before. If Id like to leave any hair. There was no trimming before hand and my hair was well over 1/4. Wax was a good temperature and I was asked if it was okay for me. Waxing begins, it was excruciating. There did not seem to be any method to hair removal other than the common pull off in opposite direction of application. Mind you, I was visibly stressed and voiced the pain. I WISH I was told when to breath. Instead I was laughed at. Wax was applied and ripped off in sections and reapplied in the same area. I had several spots bleeding and was not informed of this or why. Ingrown hairs were removed and oil was applied. I was told I did great and that I could get dressed and head to the front desk. I was in complete shock at the amount of pain I was in. I could hardly walk without feeling the soreness. Mind you I was in loose sweatpants and no undies. While paying I was overwhelmed with different products that I needed to purchase and when one was turned down the other was added for a discounted rate. I was asked how my wax was and when I said traumatizing I was laughed at yet again. I felt pushed to leave a tip and to schedule my next wax. When next wax was scheduled I was then coaxed to check out their membership packages and deals for students. Finally I was able to get No thank you through to them. I was sore for about 3-4 days after. Four weeks later I received a call from Depil informing my that my tech no longer worked there and that I would need to pick a new date and time for my wax. No apologies were given nor any patience and understanding for the questions I had to help my decision. After being told, we are all good I politely canceled my appointment altogether. Definately would not recommend to a friend especially for their first wax. When I spoke to seasoned waxers I was in shock at what the normal Brazilian wax experience really was like.

I called 3 times to tell them that they address to the place was sending me to Bank of America. The lady didn’t tell me it was a 4 minute late policy. I get There and they didn’t wanna do my wax and I drive 40 minutes. I will Not go back to them ever again. Especially cause I was A first time customer. That’s not how you treat first time guest.

This place is awesome!! I got my Brazilian done with Felicia and she did an amazing job. It lasted the whole four weeks she told me it would too! The prices are really reasonable for a wax place. The wax they use is awesome for sensitive people like I am. Highly highly recommend anyone to come here for their wax services.

This was my first Brazilian and I was really nervous. Stephanie was amazing, she chatted with me while waxing which eased my nerves. She was gentle and it didnt hurt much at all! She is very knowledgeable about how you should care for you body afterwards and she recommended some really great products. I already booked my next appointment, you wont be disappointed.

I love coming here to pamper myself with a nice, relaxing wax! All of the aestheticians are so sweet and friendly, not to mention thorough and experienced in their services. The studio itself is very clean and smells great, and I love the cute decor. 10/10 recommend!!

Felicia is great! She made me feel comfortable, is very attentive to her work, and made lots of conversation- I didnt even realize we were finished! Recommend this place for anyone trying out wax for any area of the body for the first time or if you need a change. The lady at the front desk was a little pushy to buy products and set up your next appointment, but my wax experience was wonderful!

AWKWARD. Lol

Changed my review from 3 stars to one star because I called 20 minutes prior to my appointment time to let them know Id be maybe 5 or 10 minutes late, and was told that anything over 4 minutes late gets rescheduled. No offer to book me tomorrow with my usual wax girl. Front desk girls are always rude and dont ever get the billing right, Ive been coming here every month for a year, my usual esthetician does a good job but every other person Ive seen here does not, they will upsell you on products and then later tell you they shouldnt be used for that (the slow grow lotion you sold me after a Brazilian wax, latoya? That my esthetician later told me NOT to use in the Brazilian area ever? Yeah.)I do not recommend this wax salon at all anymore.
