I have been going to T & L nails on Davis Island since 2016. Anytime I have ventured out to try another nail salon out of curiosity, I have always been disappointed. Nothing compares to their quality and price!!!!! I recommend making an appointment because they do get busy but even as a walk-in they try their best to accommodate you in a timely manner. I usually do a regular mani/pedi. I’ll splurge on a gel mani every now & then. I do have to mention that their gel removal is the best experience I’ve had. My nails always feel normal afterwards, not brittle and broken like other salons have left them. I did dip powder for the second time ever but first time at T & L. My nails looked super similar in thickness to the gel which really impressed me! I haven’t gotten it removed yet but I’m not worried because I completely trust them. I’ll attach pictures of my nails throughout the years along with the current pricing chart. 11/10 would recommend them! Looking forward to trying out their new location on West Kennedy too😇

I have been going to T and L nails since it first opened in Davis Islands years ago. I just moved back to Florida and since returning, I have never looked elsewhere for another salon -- they have been so great from the friendliness of the staff, the environment, and always amenable to find a good time to schedule my appointments. I have a tough work schedule and they always do their best to accommodate me. Above all, they provide excellent service and do a fantastic job with both pedicures and gel manis. I look forward to my visit every couple weeks and I am never disappointed! Highly recommend it.

Made an appointment for my friend and I for 5 pm pedicures. They were hesitant about getting us in, but as soon as we said we could call the Kennedy location the individual on the phone said they would get us in. Got there before 5 and we waited just under an hour to get in chairs. Then my friend got a pedicure while I sat next to her. I ended up not even getting a service because I was so frustrated at that point. Please dont make appointments you cant keep and waste peoples time.

Powder dipthey can get very busy but they work hard to make sure you dont wait. they did a great job with my nails. i have been 3 times and had a different person every time and found the one I liked best. all we good.i recommend for sure

This was my first time visiting here. I received the signature pedicure. The tech did an amazing job. She didnt rush but took her time, gave a great foot massage and made sure I was satisfied before leaving her chair. I would recommend this nail shop.

I went to get a full set this morning and was completely looked over. I was there before everyone else and everyone else that walked into the door after me was seen and served. I believe it had everything to do with the color of my skin. I would not recommend this place at all to anyone.

My first pedicure and I loved it.I was got right in and the experience was amazing.I have trouble cutting my toenails in my semi old age (65) and my wife was always afraid she would cut my toes again,so decided to try this place.They will see me again!!

I have been visiting the T and L nails location on Davis Island for the last 2-3 months. I am new to the area as of this summer and was apprehensive about finding a a new nail salon. I am happy that I found T and L. The staff is welcoming and friendly and make an effort to remember their clients. Nisha always leaves my nails looking amazing! I also will sing their praises for going above and beyond for my daughter, friend, and I during our last appointment. We scheduled for Sunday afternoon, and had to cancel due to another obligation I double booked myself for. We were actually able to push the the appointment until later in the day and they went out of the way to make sure we were taken care of and could still be seen that day. That kind of service makes a lasting impression and is the reason I will continue to frequent this business.

My absolute favorite place for a pedicure! I drive from plant city. Doesn’t matter who you get, they all do such a wonderful job!

I live on the Island, so really that is why I occasionally use this place. I would love to love this place but that is not the case. The staff is not very friendly and they will not go out of their way to make you comfortable. In fact, I feel uncomfortable there as if I am imposing. I typically just do pedicures, since in past doing manicure/ dip is not consistently done and lacks experience. One time ( the last time) it appeared as if chiclets where glued on to my nails.What is most disappointing is the lack of management. I have seen other customers complain at check out and then the “managing” staff does not resolve any of the issues but defend their position. Even worse, once customer is gone they keep discussing the event for the rest of the customers to hear. It is not ideal ambience.If you are in dire need of nail service, it will do; but when you consider there are many other nail places in the tampa Bay Area that will do much better, I would recommend to support the other businesses.In the meantime I would be thrilled if enough customers spoke up about their experience to motivate this business to make a change for the better.

I was looking for a nail place in Tampa and cameAcross T&L nails and couldn’t have been happier with my decision!! They were very nice and professional - I recommend anyone and everyone go here!! I can’t stop looking at my nails cause they’re so pretty 😭😁

NO nail dryer!!! The pedicure fan dryer does NOT work and they won’t get a new one. If they expect returning business, they really need a proper fan. The one they have is so old and does not function. I waste so much time just waiting for my toes to AIR dry. A fan is pretty necessary for a nail salon. I am going elsewhere. It just takes way too long to dry. Who has the time?!?

I love this place! Its clean, friendly, and they always get me in quickly even as a walk-in and they’re always within reasonable price. They never in a rush, giving you great customer service and perfect manicure. I’m glad I finally find a place where I can go and feel like home, I live around the corner and some of the girls remember me by name.

They do a great job here. If you can’t get there at open on Saturday morning- you might want call ahead and see if there is a wait.

Mina was great. She fixed up my dragon claws and made my toes presentable again. I enjoyed talking to her.

My sister booked her wedding party at this salon two weeks in advance. She told them that it was her wedding group and that there were 11 women. They said they could handle it, no problem.What a nightmare! We waited 45 minutes after the appointment time and then only took two of us at a time. Three of the girls left after waiting THREE HOURS for their appointments. They dont have a receptionist because she also does nails.No apology. These people are disgusting and have no respect for their customers.It was her wedding for Gods sake and they kept taking walk-ins while we waited hours after our appointment time.Run as fast as you can. They are cheap but the terrible service isnt worth it.

Generally good quality work. Very clean and friendly. Sometimes a long wait even with an appt. Do not go when they are busy. Today I got the worst manicure and pedicure. It needs to be totally redone.

I LOVE this place. I have been going here since I moved to Florida 3 years ago. They always do a fantastic job and the owners are absolutely the nicest people.

TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!So, I stopped here to get mine and my 4 year olds (would have been her first time) nails done. I walked in an there were only 2 people waiting. The lady who greeted us told us they could take us and asked me to pick the nail polishes we want. They took the two people ahead of us and more people had since walked in. Then they begun taking people that come in after us!!! I assume they had appointments so i continued to wait a little longer, but people kept walking in and were getting taken care of before us. I waited almost an hour with a toddler running around and not one employee said a word to me. I eventually got annoyed and left because i had somewhere to be, so we didnt even have to go somewhere else. I wish they would have told me they were booked up with appointments so i could have gone somewhere else, instead they just let us sit there...for an hour!!!! they probably would of left us sitting there longer, with not even an estimated time frame, if i wouldnt have gotten up and left. I will never go back and dont recommend them to anyone, the customer service was terrible. What kind of employer just leaves their customer sitting around that long without even an explanation or checking on them.

Called before I arrived and was told I could walk in without a wait then, and they were right. Had a great basic Pedi+callous treatment by Rocky. The cost of the basic Pedi was a little on the high end for a no frills, strictly nail salon (non-spa setting), but given the location, right on Davis Island, seems reasonable. Very clean, pleasant atmosphere, courteous staff, was offered bottled water multiple times. Id recommend :)

I like that they have sanitary liners in the pedicure bowls. I have known a few people to get toe fungus from the salons that use regular bowls. They are very busy so if you come in and see a lot of people expect to wait. They do a job though.

Absoutley wonderful. The best pedicure I have ever had. Clean and the staff is wonderful. Very sweet and welcoming. Will be back!!!

Very disappointing. My gel manicure fell out in les than a week and when I went back to have it fixed no apologies, they only wanted to fix the ones that were peeling off instead of doing the full set and furthermore I was obliged to have the same color, which I felt the color may have been the issue. Any ways on this place the courteousness to the customer is hit and miss. They even try to blame it on me that the gel did not lasted stating that if one uses cleaning detergent with bleach it may damage the gel was she assuming I am in the cleaning business?
