I’ve been here several times now, all with different technicians. They’re all great! I haven’t been disappointed yet. The work always lasts and looks top notch.

We were visiting from Houston and we wanted to get manicures and pedicures before our cruise leaving out of Tampa. We found this place which was in the vicinity of our hotel. There are a dozen nail salons in the area, but this one in particular had great reviews. We were instantly greeted by the owner and he offered us a beverage. We had a seat in amazing massage chairs and were handed white wine and menus. The nail technicians were very sweet and did a great job. The spa pedicure was $25 and included a hot stone massage which was wonderful. I loved the 80s music playing in the shop, Michael Jackson and Blondie are always fun. My girlfriend asked for a very specific style of nails for our cruise, and the technician did a great job bringing the idea to life. Her manicure was more expensive than what we were expecting and it was a little frustrating communicating that idea, but the end result was worth it. Thank y’all for accommodating our crazy request.

Hands down my favorite nail place in Tampa! Everyone is so super nice, prices are great and they all do such an amazing job!

The salon itself it very cute and clean but was a bit disappointed in the service itself. The nail technician (she had the name Le on her jacket) cut me twice with the cuticle scissors, the second time I even flinched, but she did not acknowledge it or apologize. I came in yesterday around 5:30 and took photos this morning of both toes with noticeable cuts on the cuticles. I understand this happens sometimes but an acknowledgment and apology would have made all the difference in my opinion.

Great service. Love the little extras like wine or other beverages and wonderful massages. Great price. The shop dog is the cutest and so well behaved!

I have been going here for over six months. I live in St. Pete and happily make the drive over to Tampa just so I can go to the Nail Shoppe! The owner, Tuan, is extremely nice and professional, he always makes you feel welcome. I have been to multiple different technicians and each and every one of them does a great job for me. I would highly recommend!

I cannot tell you enough great things about this place! Tuan, the owner, is so passionate about his clients. He always knows everyone by name and is so accommodating. His team seem to love what they do and are always so friendly. Always so clean and organized! I love this place!

Always a fan of The Nail Shoppe! They take appointments and walk-ins. I love the excellent late and weekend hours (open both days) making it easy to fit in to a busy schedule. Very clean location with friendly staff.

I have been going here since before they moved to the new location. My mom usually treats my sister and I to a mani/pedi when shes in town. I love that they treat my mom like a queen. And my niece has really enjoyed the hello kitty chair! The day before I gave birth, I took my dad with me for his first ever pedicure and now he asks to go back every time theyre in town! Very reliable excellent service. I have some favorite nail technicians here, but have never had a bad mani/pedi here...just some even better than others.

Initial service(s): Acrylic overlay onnatural nails + gel polish (OPI Bubble Bath) + Manicure. Paid in full plus a generous tip for Linda (she earned it). Nails were beautiful when I left the salon. Within 2 days the gel color had yellowed and the acrylic was popping up of my nails. Returned to the salon within the same week and was charged to repair the shoddy job. Of course i didn’t make a scene (but I wanted too) obviously the reason for my second visit in the same week was to give your salon the opportunity to right the wrong. I can’t understand why customer service is not a focus. I could have easily went to another nail salon if I had known she would charge me again to correct the inferior nail services. Sad, disappointing and dissatisfied. I like the cleanliness and vibe of the salon. However I will not be returning. Hope losing a customer was worth that quick $22 flimflam you pulled. There are other worthy salons to patronize.

I’ve been here to get a full set. It was $45 which I was like okay not bad. The gel was iffy. It got dots in the first few days. But wasn’t too bad. I didn’t go back for awhile. Went yesterday cause they were the only place not too busy. I paid $45 again for a refil and they look absolutely terrible.

A wonderful experience, my nails look amazing. The owner is awesome, usually present at the salon and always ready to help with the manicures themselves or provide some style advice. I hear theyll all you if youd like some wine but theyve never asked me... Maybe cuz be I look like Im in high school 😂 Love this place though

The best nail shoppe in South Tampa. It has a nice atmosphere and very clean. The owners and staff are friendly and professional. They make it point to know their customers and acknowledge then by name. They accommodate all ages and genders. I am a regular, my daughter who flies in from NY, and even my husband loves it. My 3 year old granddaughter will just love the Hello Kitty chairs!!

I loved my nails when I first got them but it’s only been 1 week and 2 nails fell off. I’m not rough with my hands either. They just popped off. I’ve been trying to find a good nail salon to go to in Tampa since I moved here but have not found the right one. On to the next one...

I was referred by a friend to get my nails done with Pearl... let me just say that I am so, so picky about my nails! I almost never get them done because I cant find anyone to do the good enough. I cannot express how PERFECT my nails were done by Pearl! I love them so much. Not one single complaint. The salon atmosphere was just a plus but it was very inviting and the owner was interacting with everyone and just had the whole salon laughing and enjoying themselves. Cant wait to continue going here!

I had my nails done here today by Tao. The owner was very welcoming and professional when I arrived. I showed Tao a couple pics on Pinterest and I asked her opinion. She gave me her advice based on how the shape would compliment my fingers and we went with a coffin shaped nail that was perfectly executed. I have very small nails and the set looks perfect!

In less than a week all my nails popped off. 😡 really upset with paying for a full set and then all of them popping off. I don’t know if it was the nail girl I went to or what but I am definitely not going back.

South Tampas best nail salon!

My daughter and I went for manicures. Hers was ok but mine was pretty uneven. I even pointed it out and she fixed one finger a little. They only did one coat of the white and it was too thin to even cover the nail. She even smudged it and didnt fix it. At that point i just wanted to go.

Tuan and his family are the best. Everytime I walk in, I feel welcome and at home. There are complimentary beverages offered, which is a wonderful perk, and everyone who works here is incredibly caring. This is one of the cleanest spas Ive ever been in, and their efforts to remain hygienic and sterile for their customers can clearly be seen, through the use of liners in the pedicure tubs, the option to have a personal care box (which contains your own personal nail care tools), and the sterilization of tools between customers.This is my new regular spa, and look forward to supporting their business for a long time to come.

Loved this place the first couple times I went - and I don’t even like dogs (there’s a house dog, but last night was new dog). The time before last wasn’t good, but I was behind on my maintenance so thought I didn’t set them up for success. Went last night and it was HORRIBLE. The lady rushed, I had to have her fix several uneven nails (plus she acted like it was my fault?!) and then her paint job was awful. Literally looks like I did it myself, if I was 5, and I’m embarrassed. Cuticles are jacked and polish is a streaky, bubbly mess. Thanks Nail Shoppe. Not!

I don’t typically provide reviews but since I relied on reviews in selecting this salon, I figured I would pay it forward. The reviews were glowing so I was expecting at least a decent mani pedi. I got gel on my hands and a regular pedicure. After the pedi, I noticed the polish was not even and asked for it to be fixed. It was somewhat (although now I see that the polish was unevenly applied, so I can see my toenail in some places). Mani was just horrible. Even after I asked for it to be fixed, the edges were completely uneven - it looked like my 2 year old had painted my nails. Instead of fixing it, I was given another coat which makes my nails look even worse with just a huge glob of polish. I didn’t see the prices listed anywhere so I’m not sure what if I was charged correctly, but my total was $50! Complete ripoff and waste of money. By the next day, my gel mani looked even worse- edges all uneven and completely discolored. Now I’m going to have to pay more to get this fixed. Would avoid this place.

The best nail shop in Florida.

So my biggest gel manicure complaint is that Ive never found a nail technician that is fast AND good. Theyre usually either fast and the gel mani is meh, or theyre slow as molasses the gel mani is great. The only fast and good gel mani Ive gotten in Florida is in Punta Gorda, and the need to drive 2 hours there obviously defeats the purpose. In comes Tammy at The Nail Shoppe of S. Tampa. Tammy gave me an IMPECCABLE gel mani in LESS THAN 30 MINUTES (note that I didnt have a soak off, so that cut down on a little time, but still!). I have never been so excited when leaving a nail appointment. I often dont get my nails done because Im too impatient to sit for an hour, but this was amazing! The Nail Shoppe is clean, everyone is courteous, and the service is excellent. They really offer such a heightened level of service and attention to detail - they have a phone charger at each pedicure station, and even offer a stylus so you can use your phone while your fingers are wrapped in foil for the gel soak-up. The color selection is a bit smaller than other salons, but there are plenty of options. $25 gel manis Monday through Wednesday. Highly recommend - I wont go anywhere else!
