I love this nail salon! Tracy is amazing! She does the best eyebrows in Tampa. I love her pedicures and gives the best feet and legs massages. Yen the receptionist is wonderful she makes you feel so welcomed and is so sweet!

This is my go to salon. Never had a bad experience here. My mom, sister, and I have been coming for years.

I LOVE this salon and tell all my friends to go. First off, the prices are so amazing. You wont walk out with light pockets but you will with cute nails. A gel manicure and pedi is about 50 bucks. Most salons, youd be paying up to 70 or 80 dollars. The staff is pretty friendly and professional. The only thing is that theyre always so busy so its best to make an appointment beforehand if youre getting your nails done towards the end of the business day or the weekend. I highly recommend it though. My nails always look great after. They play fun romantic comedies and family movies which make the time go by faster. Their massage chairs are comfy and they have a lot of colors.

I’ve always came to this nail salon and recently the quality of work and prices do not add up. I am all for paying people accordingly and have never once complained about paying but today I went to go get a dip manicure and gel pedicure pedi and was charged $100 (including $5 tip because this Is not the nail techs decision). Never have a I ever been charged $100 at this salon or any salon for that matter. I have always been charged $80. When I asked why he said they raised theyre prices and laughed at me for being shocked. Overall, i don’t feel like being laughed at and getting the bare minimum done with my nails is worth $100. I don’t recommend, I feel like I just got scammed honestly.

I never write bad reviews but this is unacceptable. I’ve been to this nail salon about 3 or 4 times. The first time I came I asked for just regular stiletto acrylic nails, they looked nice after I got them done but a few days later one of them broke. I went back to get that nail fixed and they seemed a bit agitated but it was fine. Literally a day after another nail broke and I went back to get fixed. They charged five dollars for the nail fix which was fine but when I asked for the student discount, the receptionist laughed in my face and said it’s not even a dollar difference, which again is fine but she was extremely rude about it. Then, a nail broke again two days later I went back to get this one done and told myself that after that I wouldn’t be coming back. This time, Itold the receptionist I just needed a fix but they started doing a fill and I told them I asked for a fix. They were clearly angry about this but I won’t be doing another expensive service here. Then, a lady came up to me and said I needed a fill because I would keep coming back to get them fixed, which is actually due to the nails quality because I’ve been to several other salons that had their acrylics last much longer. I discovered this place for the student discount but now it’s not even worth it since they keep breaking or chipping. I felt very disrespected by the staff as well.

Best place in Tampa Palms to get your nails done. Acrylics always look perfect and the designs these nails technicians can do are amazing! Reasonably priced and their is a discount for USF students!

On Friday I have my manicure and got nails they charged 20$ for normal nails . While booking I asked her is there a massage she said yes, while getting manicure he did massage for 10 sec thats it, even though I said ok, by next day night my nail polish started coming off .. very poor thing I would have applied it at my home only . That is the sad part by Sunday it came of completely, I did manicure for my maternity shoot, but no use . B

Went in today and asked for acrylic to be put on my own nails, and the technician said this one nail was longer do we want them to all be the same length, I said yes, so she promptly cut all my nails off and when I asked what was she doing she was pulling out the tips to put on my nails. I told her I wanted acrylic on my own nail with pink/white polish, she said I didnt understand and then they charged me $50. Have been going here on/off for quite some time but the service seems to be going down.

I normally do not write more critical reviews, however this nail salon is just not good quality. To start off, the lady who did my nails was very sweet, however I showed her a picture of the nails I wanted and it was a very simple design. She did not do it anything like how the picture showed, and she squeezed my fingers too hard while doing my entire manicure. My fingers were aching after my manicure from the pressures which left my nails and cuticles very red and sensitive.Since I do not like to complain, I went ahead and got my nails redone at a different salon. I should not have to do that. Dont recommend

This is my go to place, but this was my first time getting this guy doing my nails. And, he was giving me a hard time about my nail choice. I just thought it was kind of odd and a little rude, but I still was kind and tipped. He did a great job with my nails, it was just the attitude he had. So, that just made me very upset that he was giving me a hard time (Which I still don’t know why because I was being nice like I said) I like the place and I had other people doing my nails who are very kind and sweet. :(

First time here after reviews and pictures... I usually do my own nails but needed 2 nails fixed that broke.Regular Pedicure was okay.Gel Manicure, I had asked to fix and go all the way to the sides otherwise my hair would get stuck or chip them. They did but still the same thing... if I have to tell you how to fix it it gets annoying.Dont like to complain but for what I got charged $60.00 plus tip I dont think its worth it.I can see they do great with acrylic gel nails just not with natural nails.

I had an Asian guy do my nails at table #6, and he was very rude and cursing at me because he had to fix a broken nail (nail repair) and do a short fill-in,I have never been disrespected that way EVER in a nail salon. I asked him his name multiple of times and he denied to tell me, I was the only black girl in there so I’m not sure if they’re discriminate to us or not but based off that experience, I would advise black women to not walk inside that place! I always tip nail techs $10 to $20 on top of the service cost, this was my first time not tipping a nail tech.

Technician did a good job. Some distractions by cell phone usage & extensive co-worker conversation while being serviced. Contrary to that, its good to see co-worker commradary.

Taylor was absolutely fabulous! She did an amazing job! I watched a great movie and felt so relaxed by the time I left.

I’ve been getting my nails done here since we moved to Tampa last July. I am very picky about how my nails are done and I’ve never been disappointed with this shop! Jason always does an awesome job!

I absolutely loved visiting this spot and I’m definitely going to be back. I was given an excellent service even as a walk-in. Upon entering I was asked if I’d like anything to drink. I was seated in an awesome massage chair. They’re very professional and clean. The prices are great. I left in love with my toes and my nails. 💕

This is the second time Ive been to this location and will not go anywhere else in the new Tampa area! Mai is wonderful and she does such a great detail job with manicures and pedicures. The salon is super clean and they use a one-time minor for each guest and one time tools for each customer which makes me feel better during these times. Great job by the owner as well. Keep up the great work!

I have had dip powder at other salons and I really like it, so I came here for dip powder. I was very happy with the selection of colors, so I chose some pretty glitter. I had no complaints with how they were done. However, they started to look grown out VERY quickly, in less than a week. Since then, big chunks of nail have broken off 3 times. Also, one of the things I like about dip powder is that it allows my natural nails to grow out underneath but with this manicure, my real nails have been flaking off and peeling off underneath the dip powder. This picture shows the condition after 3 weeks and 3 days.

Always a wonderful experience.

I love everyone in this salon. It’s the first salon I ever found that I feel truly welcomed ! You don’t feel like there’s a secret conversation happening around you. The owner is always there and he knows everyone by name welcoming you each time with the same enthusiasm also being very helpful to his clients and staff throughout your entire visit. Tina does my nail majority of the time but when she’s busy I’ll work with anyone. Each professional here is kind and very talented. I have my cosmo license, so I can speak on the behalf that this salon is clean to the standard. Sanitary and visually appealing. I was there on one of the last days before the quarantine and back on day 1 of reopening and they took safety and health to the next level. If choosing to go here please be respectful to what has been created here. It’s special .You’ll love your nails, brows, lashes anything you choose to have done and you’ll meet some amazing people!

I just went there today and visited Mai! She was wonderful! She was so sweet and helpful and she took her time to make them perfect! I love the shape, I am very picky since I do stilleto nails and she got the shape just how I like them! I will most definitely be back to get my nails done again by her!

My sister and I have been coming to this salon consistently (every 3 weeks or so) for a few years now. Ive tried a few other salons in the area and none compare. The owner Kevin is super nice and attentive and all of the nail techs are friendly and do great work. The only downside is that because of their great service they can get very busy. I highly recommend making an appointment, especially if you are looking to get pink and whites or acrylic nails. Overall, Ive always had great experiences here and would highly recommend this nail salon.

BEST nail salon in Tampa! I started going to this salon when it used to be located down the street from this location. I have NEVER had such a great job done on my acrylic nails. I have now been going to see the same nail tech, Quinn for about 7 yrs. I ALWAYS get compliments on my nails and get asked where I get them done at. The owner Kevin is wonderful as well. He cares a lot about his business and keeping everyone happy. He works very hard and makes it a pleasure to return to this salon. I would recommend checking this place out to anyone!! I

This is the best place Ive ever used - in 30 years. Ive been going to them for about 4 years now. Amanda does a great job. Kevin (the owner) is always so professional. The shop is run impeccably and first rate. This is a cant go wrong place to get your nails done.

I like this place a lot, but my experiences have been hit or miss so far. Out of the two nail techs I have had on three visits, Amy is definitely my favorite. The other two times the tech I had was not attentive to detail and my nails broke/became detached within a week of getting them done. The student discount is great

The worst nail salon in Tampa, they are not friendly and they don’t care about their customers. All they care about is try to make you get a gel so they charge you more, and try to make you get a spa pedicure for extra charge. My nail technician’s name is Taylor, she missed up my gel nails colour, and did not take any responsibility, when I told her I am going to write a review she did not even care about. On the other hand, it’s a very dirty place. So, I would never come back to them and would not recommended for anyone. The worst salon in the Tampa.

Nice new salon. Very crowded with people waiting. I had made an appt. but no record of my call. Had to come back in 45 minutes. Less busy during the earlier part of the week. $22 for a pedicure. Ask for Rosie or Sheila.

Went today for the first time and really had a great experience. Kevin went out of his way to get a color I asked for that I did not see on the shelves. The lady who did my pedicure did an amazing job and was very thorough and did not rush at all. They also had a huge variety of polishes to choose from! This will be my new permanent nail place!

The best nail salon experience I have ever had. So many people working, super clean, and they really spend the extra time on you to make sure your manicure lasts. I had no idea where to go in Tampa and trusted google on this one. Glad I did! I cant stop touching my smooth nails!

I came in to get a pedicure and it was ok but this place lacks customer service! I never feel comfortable when I come and they don’t make you feel welcome at all. This was my third time coming and I will not be back. Be Nails and Spa down the street has the best customer service and does great work.

Clean establishment, everyone was polite and engaging all the customers. The manager was constantly cleaning and assisting his employees. The young lady that did my nails was thorough, gentle but fast. She answered all my questions and concerns. I would definitely come back and suggest this to others. The only complaint is that the young lady was on the phone the entire time so she didnt engage me much other than answering my questions.

Clean and relaxing atmosphere. Great job on my nails for 4th of July! Only one issue, the lady doing my pedicure scrubbed my foot too much and I ended up with a raw spot on my foot. If not for that I would have given 5 stars.

Kevin and Peter ALWAYS take great care of me! Yet to have a bad experience in 3yrs coming! My pedicures last nearly a month and I can easily go 3 weeks before getting gel re-done on my nails. HIGHLY recommended!

Nails At New Tampa has to be the best nail salon in New Tampa. The Owner and employees are very warm and friendly and they will make sure you are getting exactly what you ask for. They actually take their time and have conversations with you to make you feel comfortable, rather then just doing their job ASAP just so they can go on to the next customer. I really recommend Nails At New Tampa for their great customer services and great detail to a perfect manicure and pedicure!

I just got my eyebrows done and they are completely uneven and not what I asked for. They were so unfriendly I was afraid to even say anything so I left. I now have to go spend more money at a different place to get them fixed. I also overheard one of the workers making fun of another customer. Very unprofessional and do not recommend.

I came in as a walk-in for a regular french manicure, they saw me right away but were constantly trying to upsell me to gel nails or dipped nails, and those methods are just too hard on my nails. It seemed like everything was going well, until my nails were dry and I found that they were uneven and cracking in paint, and full of tiny bubbles. They also snagged a cuticle on one of my fingers with the clippers which bled. I feel like I got a lazy service because I was a walk-in. Its a shame because I liked the look of the salon and it seemed like a very busy place. May try again another time with an appointment, and see a different person.

Went to this salon after having such a bad experience at Elegant nails. This was WORSE! The nail technician was extremely rude! She hit me in the face with a nail buffer while buffing my nails. Didnt apologize! Even the lady next to me couldnt believe how rude she was. She never even said hello when I walked in, she just yelled sit down over there. She cut me a few times. When she was painting my nail she missed the side and when I was going to tell her she just started yelling No No No, didnt not even let me tell her. I had to raise my voice and say Look at my nail! Never going back. All I wanted was a refill!

I used to really enjoy coming to this location. However, my last three experiences lacked in good customer service... so much that I will never again return. When working in a business that involves servicing a client, being rude, sarcastic, and insulting is NEVER good business. This is especially true when it comes to customers who have been loyal for over a year when there are plenty of business in the same area that do the same quality of work. NEVER AGAIN!!!!!! I guess their ego has gotten too big for their clients.

Ive been a regular customer for 4 years -since moving to Florida. Kevin and his entire staff are very accommodating. Theyre all very sweet and I have yet to have a bad experience there. My daughters and I tried a few other places but none can compare. I also noticed that if someone is not satisfied with something - theyre all quick to respond and take care of whatever concerns the client may have. I would recommend this salon to anyone.

I love this place! They are always so quick to get me in. There is one young woman there who isnt the greatest, but shes kind. The rest of them are great at what they do. I get a gel manicure and I might only get one chip (Im rough on my hands) before my next appointment. The older lady there gives the BEST pedicures - just a heads up. :) USF student discount as well!!

I got simple acrylic french manicure with a gel top coat! Very happy with what I got. Nailtech was sweet. My only issue is the burning I felt on my thumb nail beds from the u.v. light. Thumbs are still a little sore . I would return to this plave again.

My experience here was horrible. I went in for a full set and polish for my toes and somehow ended up being overlooked or should I say, skipped on purpose. Let’s just say that 7 women came in after me and still got into chairs before me with no appointment. At the time, I did not make a scene about it but I find it no coincidence that none of the ladies looked like me. How dare you skip a customer because you feel that other people are more of a priority? A priority that they don’t seem to make you or your employees. Please do better! I will never come back here.

Pretty much worst pedicure ever! They didnt ask me want kind I wanted my friend was offered a choice but when I asked I was ignored. Two hours after I left and my toes still hurt because the girl was so rough and also rude. I will NEVER return to this place again.

I have been going to this nail salon and this one particular nail tech is the worst. I wanted SNS nails with tips but wanted short nails. SSh r advised me to just dip my natural nails since I wanted them short. Well when I got to my car I could see dried powder all around my nails. She did even attempt to clean off. I went back in and she barely tried to fix it and the manager said it was because my nails are shortI explained that I wanted tips and she advised me not to. I feel she just didnt want to do my nails. Unfortunately I will not be returning. The nail tech was ride. Then another tech walked up and they stared speaking in their language which of course I knew she was speaking about me. I will not be returning

Nails at New Tampa is the best nail salon in Tampa Bay. ALL of the technicians are great, therefore I never stayed with just one person because there was no need. Kevin, the owner is friendly and awesome and pretty much knows every color that they own and whether or not they have the gel color that matches the regular polish that you picked out for your toes (which is impressive considering they have A HUGE selection of colors to choose from). Kevin also is pretty quick with remembering your name once you become a regular costumer. I went to Nails at new Tampa for more than two years (almost every 2-3 weeks on the dot for my fill, gel, and pedicure). Im sad to say that I moved to Saint Petersburg and have yet to find a nail salon as good as Nails at New Tampa. I still go to class over at the USF Tampa location and sometimes drive OUT OF MY WAY to get my nails done here after class because theres just no one else like them!

Its a clean place and the people are nice. Ive always been a supporter but I just went and paid 40$ for a mani-pedi, no color, and to get my eyebrows done and my nails were shaped wrong and there was wax left on my face which I noticed when I got home. The waxing was done well, she just left wax on my face after. I told her to leave my nails shaped at their natural shape three times and I even explained to her which nails are which shape and she just squared all of them and it looked absolutely horrible. I asked her to fix it and she barely fixed it so I just didnt even bother. I asked for water as soon as they sat me down and I never got any. I wasted forty dollars here just to come home and further clean and fix my nails. Not worth it and I left incredibly upset and angry. I am probably never coming back here.

I get my nails done every two weeks at regal nails salon have been for two years I went to this salon one time because my salon could not get me in. I paid $75 for a manicure pedicure with gel ..two days later had to go back because my fingernails were peeling, had them fixed...the next day three more nails were peeling and 1 broke I refuse to have this place ever do my nails again!! Didn’t even offer a refund..

Prices are high, Im from NYC and you all know how expensive everything is in NY. In the city its only $20 wheres here is more! Why is that here its $25 for gel manicure and if you want cuticle removed $30 then a tip, so by the time you go pay its $40! Thats prices every 2weeks..
