I am thrilled at the service and quality of products Custom Hair has. My posse and I visited the shop with the expectation that we’d have a busy afternoon visiting several shops in search of the perfect wig. We walked in, were immediately greeted by a friendly and welcoming representative, and seated in a private fitting room. I explained what I thought I might want and she immediately brought in at least 6 wigs that were exactly what I had hoped for. She patiently fitted each one on me, and upon further discussion, even brought 4 or more in. She even got a kick out of us FaceTiming with yet another friend for more ‘input’. I never felt rushed, tried the final 3 on multiple times, and fell in love with the perfect one. Additionally, she gave me honest and helpful advice, and explained how they stand by their products. I am thrilled that I have something to give me confidence as I go through chemo treatments, and that it was such an enjoyable experience. And on top of that, prices are competitive! I have to start off by saying that Lori is the best!!!! I had a very bad haircut a few months ago. I left my hairdresser with a mans flat top haircut, and after that I decided to let my hair grow out. My hair is now in a very awkward stage, so I decided to get a wig to cover it up until it grows out more. Lori listened to what I wanted, and she kept me in my price range. She went and got two wigs, both were beautiful, and that was all she needed to show me. She is very knowledgeable about wigs and knows what will look great on you. She is so nice and friendly. It was a very pleasant experience, and they definitely have my business from now on. They have a great selection of wigs to choose from. Thanks so much Lori!!!!

Let me start this off by saying a massive thank you to Tracy! You turned a traumatic time into an enjoyable experience. I am losing my hair due to chemotherapy and we found the perfect wig that matched my regular hair plus a fun one. Tracy was so patient with me and my husband (who wanted to see me in every hair color for fun). Also, I got my real hair (what was left of it) shaved into a buzz cut - it was time and I am so grateful they could do it right then and there. This is the place to go for a wig. They have a ton of options and offer great advice - thanks Lori for the insurance tip and welcoming us back into the store if we need any help.

Tracy her assistant, also has such warmth as she greeted me for the second time. She will also make you feel confident in yourself as she removes and colors your piece. Just was there to give out our school flyers for their customers and the answer was “no soliciting” I responded to the lady with an attitude that she was wrong that this is a local public charter school that community needs to know and as a business owner ethically you cooperate with educators as the schools are taxpayer funded. Briefly, there is distinction between pizza flyer and STEM school flyer... One star is well deserved by the lady’s unethical unacceptable behavior and attitude!

I was very pleased with the service and kindness I received from Lori. I was preparing to lose my hair from chemo, so ordered wigs in advance. When my hair began to fall out, I had a Custom Hair stylist cut it all off and trim my new wigs. It was far less traumatic than I expected, and I actually left feeling pretty good about myself. My sister is about to start chemo and since she nor I knew anything about wigs, I relied on the Google reviews of this business and we gave it a try. The owner, Lori, met us at the door and from the moment we walked in, we felt as if our business mattered. She was patient, very understanding, she educated us on the different types of wigs, materials used and answered all of our questions. This wasnt a shopping experience that anyone would look forward to but Loris patience and kindness made the process much easier. I would absolutely recommend this business to anyone.

I just want to say what amazing patience Tracy had with me in being so indecisive on my final choice. Even though it was my first time meeting Tracy and Lori I felt it like I had known them for a long time. Thank You ladies for a wonderful experience.

I was delighted with the service I received during my visit there. They listened to me, didnt try to talk me into something, as has been done in other places, and I walked out with exactly what I went for. They offer great quality products with a slightly higer price tag, but well worth it. I recommend them to anyone.

I had a very bad experience but it was several, several years ago. Lori claimed she could match my hair and that an integration piece was what she ordered. She clipped a sample of my hair. The hair that arrived was by no means any sort of match for my hair but they glued this monstrosity to my head anyway. I came back in 3 days to have it removed. I wanted my money back, but she declined. Said she would try again to order hair. I no longer wanted any sort of integration piece after seeing exactly what it might be like. She refused to refund my money, saying that the only option I had was to pick two items from her store. We went round and round about this, and finally I felt I could not win, so selected two pieces from her store, neither of which I have ever worn, so all in all I lost almost 2K.

Lori was great! I have breast cancer and was a little hesitant about getting a wig and she made the process so great. She got it spot on with the second wig she gave me to try on👏🏻

My wife went there to look for a wig. The two women who worked there were VERY rude and disrespectful!! One of the women lied that their wigs would last a life time, which we know is not true at all. My wife left there felt mistreated and offended by the two women. We will never go back there again!!

My wifes mother recently passed away after battling cancer and a wig was needed to provide her with some dignity at the funeral home. Lori Younkman was very understanding and worked with us to get a quality wig and she did so under difficult circumstances. My name is Natalie and I live with a condition called alopecia. I bought my first wig from Lori when I was 14 years old. The whole idea of wearing a wig rocked my world. I was hesitant to start wearing one because to me, it had felt like I was succumbing to my condition. Nonetheless, I needed to start wearing a wig and that is when I went to Custom Hair. Lori has always been there whenever I have had a problem with my wigs and she has taught me several times how to care for and style my wigs. Overall, Lori has been an angel for me for the past couple of years. She is truly a kindhearted, genuine person and the way she conducts her business is evident of that. 13 years ago I walked into Custom Hair. I was very depressed and discouraged about my hair loss. It made me feel so unfeminine.
