Bell Arte( Barbara) is a top notch world wide top extension specialist in the entire country. This is not just my opinion she has published articles from top people in the industry as well as instructors who claim her as this. In the year I have been with her, she is professional, on time, knows her craft like no one else. I have seen her politely tell people if their hair would not work for extensions instead of just taking any client. She takes her clients extremely seriously as if it were her own hair or daughters hair that she is working on. She explains things and is such a firecracker( in a good way) to be around. I love going to her! I do not really want to trash another salon, but Salon Monaco had previously done my hair for 3 years. It started great, then as they progressed they took less time and even started their own hair line at Monaco and actually put in a WEAVE into my long smooth gorgeous real hair. That WEAVE was not meant for my type of hair or ethnicity. When I was outraged and had literal mats and knots of disgusting hair (within days of getting the weave at Monaco., I called around and found Bell Arte Studio based on their wonderful reviews. Barbara heard my story. Did NOT talk unprofessionally about Salon Monaco, but during the first visit I heard her get 3 phone calls with the EXACT same issue I needed fixed. Barbara is an amazing artist! I have high maintenance hair: silver with extensions that include teal and purple. Id been through 3 other stylists that mostly ruined my mane with bleach and bad extensions that hurt and fell out. I came to Barbara to help fix a color and cut mistake from another salon in Tampa. Barbara was very knowledgeable in corrections. Barbara is amazing! I’ve been doing my own tape in extensions for about 8 months and was dying my own hair and basically ruining it, and Barbara has saved my look. Her expertise is worth every penny. I have micro links now and can actually put my hair in a pony without my extensions showing. The hair is so soft and silky and she did such an amazing job blending it nobody can tell it’s not actually my hair, heck I cant even tell! I’m new to Tampa and found Bell Arte on Google. My extensions were previously done somewhere else, and they were quite a mess. Barbara was willing to help me out and fix them, and she did an amazing job!! The atmosphere she and her assistant create is very welcoming. They are fun and animated and really care about their clients. Barbara even gave me some Aleve to help with my sensitive scalp while she worked on the huge mess I created. It came out looking perfect, and boy is she FAST! I will definitely be returning to her regularly!

Ok, so first I loved my extensions! Loved Barbara’s work and thought she was amazing and thought the extensions were amazing. Now, as a few weeks have gone by, I’ve lost several extensions (more than 10-15) and all of the connects are more than a finger tip length from my scalp. They are slipping down my hair and creating such a gap that I’m going to have to get them moved up and it’s been less than a month since I’ve gotten them done! I paid good money for these and I am so disappointed now! Every other time I’ve had extensions, I’ve never had this problem, and this is the most I’ve ever paid for extensions, only now to have to spend more money getting a new stylist to move them up!I am posting this review anonymously, only because I do not wish to have my name publicly posted and I will not be going back to Barbara, ever again.Just beware. The hair quality is great, Barbara is amazing, but she needs to clarify hair before she puts extensions in and she needs to place them higher and she should also secure the extensions a little better so she’s not charging people over $2000 and then they have to spend another $350 getting them moved up a month later. It’s frustrating and not right.

Barbara is fantastic! She took the time to educate me about hair extensions and helped me choose the right kind for me. Barbara is honest and passionate and great at what she does. I needed a color correction and she matched my natural color very well and matched the dye to the color of the extensions. Very good at color matching.

Ive been coming to Barbara for my hair extensions for nearly 1.5 years. She introduced me to a newer line of extensions that were healthier for my hair than what Id previously had, and the quality was fantastic. She is super experienced in many types of extensions and she is FAST to put them in and maintain them! A maintenance service used to take me 2.5 hours, but with Barbara its just 1 hr (I have 100 pieces). She has won awards for her work and she has so many options for various budgets. I highly suggest you meet her. Her work is high quality and NO ONE can tell you have extension hair!

Im so happy with my hair!! Totally worth the investment. My blonde hair was damaged and breaking. Barbara colored, treated my hair and gave me long glorious hair with extensions that blended perfectly with my own damaged hair. I had given up on beauticians. After moving down to Florida, I struggled finding a hair stylist that lived up to my expectations until I found Barbara! She truly cares about her clients and is passionate about her work. My hair has honestly never looked better. I buy my products from her also and she is great at choosing just the right hair products for my type of hair. My husband and I have been clients for about 2 years. I get my hair colored and cut by Barbara. In all the time I have been a client, I have never had a bad color or cut - NEVER. Barbara is a true artist and is a consummate professional. She truly cares about her clients and treats them like family. I count myself lucky to be her client and her friend.

I spent almost two years getting heat fusion extensions. They shed all the time and I was spending so much money . Then I found Barbara and have been with her for a year . Finally my hair is growing and now I get Perfectress extensions. I am in love. She is amazing and does a wonderful job.

The place is beautiful! Barbara is very helpful. I came in not knowing what I wanted exactly, I had the notion of getting tape ins installed to be honest. Instead of making money off of me and installing something that could damage my hair for her benefit she actually took the time to explain to me why we shouldnt go the route of tape ins and showed me Better extensions that benefit my hair texture. She is very upfront about the prices and you even get the chance to see a strand of the hair itself before you buy!Shes very professional and helpful and all around the place is a great atmosphere to be in and around. If youre not getting your hair done by her, youre not getting your hair done right.

I found Barbara through google reviews. She was a God-send.My hair was damaged from a previous procedure at a different salon and I had to cut off 2.5”. I was feeling like I had no hair!This is the first time I had extensions. She squeezed me in for a consultation.Barbara said she was a hair whisperer and that is no lie. I didn’t have to tell her about my hair history, she could read it from my hair. I ordered 2 packs of hair extensions after the consultation and it was overnighted. The hair is beautiful. Again she squeezed me in the next day because I had to go of town.She is an expert. What a miraculous transformation! I have beautiful hair again. I feel good again. Barbara really saved the day for me. I am already thinking about getting another pack of extensions. lol.And thank you to Barbara’s other clients that I met who were so kind to share information about their own hair extensions.And an enormous thank you to Barbara!She is amazing.

Barbara got me set up with clip in extensions and was extremely thorough and helpful with me from showing me how to put them in to actually going through each weft with me. She goes above and beyond to make sure you are content with your purchase! The quality of the extensions is AMAZING and I highly recommend her!!

It’s sad.. I spent so much money on hair extensions & only to be laughed at by Barbara talking to one of her friends on fb. I guess she thinks people don’t see that but they do. After cancelling my appointments Barbara didn’t even care. I guess after getting over 2000 plus from me is all she’s about.A very hard lesson learned....
