Horrible experience the owner made my hair orange and then I have to pay $300. Never again I hand an appointment and it still took 8 hours

Great place, amazing services. My wife and daughter has been going there for years and their hair looks always impecable. Prices are very reasonable. we have high expectation for stylist services and they always surpassed my wife expectation which is a lot to say.

Worst experience at a hair salon ever!!! I was left devastated when I got home and noticed that my hair had been overly processed to the point where some of my curls won’t even curl anymore and my hair is falling out. My hair was left brittle damaged. I came in and asked the owner if she can get my blond curly hair to not have the yellow tone and maybe use a toner for my hair. She ended up bleaching my hair and leaving it in for a long period of time. Once she washed my hair out, my hair still had yellow tones on top. On the bottom, most of my hair was WHITE AND BLUE. She ruined my hair after I sacrificed a whole year before to grow my hair back natural and healthy. The one who did my hair was Miledy. The owner of the salon, and she supposedly has 30 years of experience coloring hair. But she completely ruined mine and now I’m forced to start from 0 and cut all of my hair off again. I’ve never cried so much over the amount of damage that has been done. Please do yourself the favor and do not come here to color or bleach your hair!! I wish I would have had someone warn me before coming here.

I had discovered Miledy back in 1996 when I moved down from NY. And I have you say they are amazing at their craft and affordable!!! I love getting my curls straighten ever so often for a different look and they manage to do it without chemicals or burning my hair. I get a wash, deep conditioning, setting my hair in rollers and a blow out. Presto!!!! Beautiful long, soft, straight silk hair!!! Thanks ladies😘😘😘

Moved to Tampa in 2015 and could never find a good Dominican salon. I do not let just anyone color/cut/treat my hair. In April 2019 I wanted to color and do a keratin treatment for my bday and a friend recommended Miledy’s. I was greeted by everyone upon entering the salon and immediately taken care of by the owner and her daughter. I was in (“aaah”) when my hair was done.. it was everything I wanted and more!!’ I have been going faithfully since.I recently relocated to AZ and still visit Tampa regularly I DO NOT leave town with out going to see Miledy. Thank you Miledy’s and staff for your impecable service!!

Ive been going to Miledys hair salon for 13 years. Im always happy when they are done with my doo. Miledy and her staff are friendly and kind. Im not fluent in Spanish and they have never made me feel uncomfortable about my lack of communication. Also, it has been over one year since I last saw them and they welcomed me as if just there. I wont go anywhere else.

Came here to get my hair done a few months ago. There wasn’t much wait time but there is no one at the front counter so you just have to wait till someone is free to tell them what you want or ask questions. It was my first time here and I went to get my hair dyed for the first time ever and get a blow out too. The ladies were very nice but if you’re not into gossip don’t expect them to talk much to you, they’ll just do their job. They speak Spanish a lot but it’s a Dominican salon! What do you expect? I think only one or two girls there spoke English. When they started to put the hair color together there was a misunderstanding about the color. If I hadn’t spent a few minutes explaining exactly what color I wanted I would’ve left with the wrong one applied. The ladies did a good job on my hair. I left with it exactly how I wanted it. My only complaint about the place is that its a little filthy and the brushes and liquid they use for the brushes seem to need to be clean or replaced, and if your hair dryer is finished you might have to get up and tell them or else they’ll forget all about you.Even though I had a great experience, the aftermath wasn’t so great. Since it was my first time dying my hair I didn’t know what to expect. No one else who dyes their hair seems to have any problems with the color. I don’t know what kinda chemical they used or what brand of hair color or exactly what it is they used but the first time I washed my hair it was very, VERY, hard! The texture of my hair is usually very easy to comb through when I apply conditioner and detangle it but ever since then it’s been extremely coarse when wet, so course I can’t pass a widetooth comb through it or detangle it. It didn’t feel like my hair anymore. It was semipermanent color they used (even thought I wanted permanent, but they were out) so every time I washed my hair some color would wash out, that’s supposed to happen. I thought this was my permanent hair texture now because of the chemicals, but little by little, as the color washed out, my regular texture came back to normal. After a few months when the color had completely washed out, my hair felt just as before in the shower. However, the color left a color residue on my hair. Not sure if that was supposed to happen as well? Now my hair has a tint of red.I think the chemical that was used may have been harming to my hair because even though the texture is back to normal and the color is gone, my hair has been thinning. Clumps have been falling out in the shower! It’s alarming so I’m gonna start using a hot oil treatment or something to see if the damage can be repaired. Might go back to this place again in the future to get my hair done but NOT for any color!!

Every time i visited my sister in Tampa i was so jealous of her luscious hair.During my last trip she finally took me and introduced my to the owner of Miledys Hair Salon. Who happened to be a very knowledgeable friendly lady. Their friendly staff took care of us right away. My sister frequently goes here every week where they treat her hair as it should be.I have always had trouble with the texture of my hair. Its really thick, full and curly. Usually hair dressers get a bit overwhelmed and make you feel weird. NOT HERE! I felt so comfortable when she complimented my hair and recommended the best way to care of it. Unlike the places i usually visit in New York (who pressure you to buy their product and thats all they care) Miledy was easy and understanding.Miledy suggested a hair cut and which was styled the bottom upwards and the rest down which gave my hair the perfect volume without looking overwhelming. It was genius and I thought it was a great idea because it didnt make me hot with Tampas heat wave.My hair sure enough lasted the entire week. Something is nearly impossible because my hair gets curly with very little humidity.Bonus: Miledy showed me how to take care of my hair at night to make it last longer.I would without a doubt recommend this salon. Its chilled and respectful. Everything you should expect from a professional hair stylish team.I love Miledy, her staff and the aesthetic of the Salon. Its nicely designed.Definitely my go to salon every time i visit!!!!!!
