I will never go back here. The first time I dealt with them I had cancer that needed to be cut out and they canceled my appointment 2 times. Finally after refusing to wait another month they took me in and cut the cancer out.1 yr later I get a call they wanted to do a skin check up, and I decided to give them another try being as it could have been a bad day. I showed the doctor the thing on my foot and he scheduled me to have it taken off. I go to my appt and I was early. I sat there for almost and hour. 4 people were ahead of me. Then an office lady called me up to the desk and told me that although I was on time I should have come in earlier and they werent going to see me today. I left nicely until I got out in my vehicle and looked at my google maps to see what time I arrived. I went back in just to let them know I was 27 minutes early. I did not appreciate they way they tried to make it my fault. They should have had the decency to let me know when I got there instead of making me sit there. The Doctor is the one who told the desk he would not see me today. If they have to many clients and cant take care of them they should not book so many. I filed a grievance with my insurance and I am not stopping there. It is bad practice knowing someone has cancer and they put peoples continuity of care on the back burner. I cant stress enough to you about finding a different place. The office ladies were nice. It wasnt their fault, they have to do what the Doctor says. Whoever reads this I wish you a wonderful day. Stay free! This cancer grew this big in 2 weeks and they wanted me to wait another month!As you can see Academic Alliance has responded to my review. I am not responding back to them. I will not take this down, people should know about the treatment I received. It was not a one time incident.

If they tell you its covered under insurance assume they are lying. I went in 2 months ago and they told me the visit was covered under my insurance and they had all my info. No additional bills in the mail. Everything was taken care of as part of my annual screening. Ok they decided to take a chunk of my skin to send for a screening. They told me it would be about $100 out of pocket that day and no other bills in the mail. So, I pay the nice lady at the front desk and go on with my life. 4 weeks later I get a $100 bill from the lab on top of the $100 I already paid. Huh? So I pay that. 30 days later I get a bill from Academic directly telling me I owe THEM another $125. Wait a minute!?! What happened to them telling me this was covered and it was just $100 out of pocket the day of? This is getting ridiculous. They obviously cant figure out billing or they are doing some serious bait and switch. Either way avoid this firm and its billing practices like the plague.

Doctor Ann is the best dermatologist money can buy if you want to change your skin for the better and have someone who genuinely cares about your skin and not trying to take advantage of you go see Ann at the Kennedys location she is the best!!

I started in the 2000s with doctor Vaciloudes, concerned about imperfections and since then I have been going there and I love this office. Very profesional in all ways. I have been seen by different doctors and none compare. I highly recommend this office.

I am extremely happy with Academic Alliance. I see Panos Vasiloudes on a regular schedule and have never waited long for an appointment and always feel like they have been more than thorough. Everyone I have encountered has been professional and personable. I highly recommend them and have absolutely appreciated their efforts to keep me healthy.

My experience today was complete disheartening and Gina was so unhelpful and nasty to me while I had my daughter. It’s discriminatory at this point, as she let an Caucasian family inside instead of me and my daughter. We take accountability serious as their was a mixup with the office whom set the appointment for the wrong location. She did not try to help but was rather rude. Do not recommend especially if you are of color.

Non-physician provider spent an incredibly short amount of time with me and did not at all adequately address my presenting concern or even listen much to what I had to say.

I had a minimal non invasive procedure on my back and it came out horrible. I’ve had them before and know exactly how it should look. I feel like I had a butcher work in my back. Don’t trust them anymore. Extremely disappointed 😔

Ann Tran is an absolute angel and miracle worker 😊! She has saved my life with laser to treat my cystic acne and scars! She is always extremely sweet and listens to all of my needs while executing them perfectly! She did an absolutely amazing job on my lip and face filler as well! I needed to get a copy of the results of my biopsy, and was told they can’t do it over the phone, but to “come in anytime”. I checked hours of operation online and it said it was open from 9-12 on Saturdays. I went on Saturday and arrived at 11:40 and the doors were locked. Might not seem like a big deal to some, but when you have to cart your baby around with you 30 minutes away, it’s really annoying for a place of business to be closed early. I wasted an hour of my time. I went the following Monday and mentioned it to the girl at the desk. She said that the hours of operation online are “really just a guideline”, and that I should always call first. Well, no worries, I won’t need to call first anymore because I won’t be going back.

I was referred to Academic Alliance In Dermatology and Dr. Vasaloudes by a trusted friend and I am so pleased she did. The office is staffed by friendly, caring professionals. Ive never had to wait for my appointment time, they are on-time consistently. They offer a full range of services and I have recommended them to my friends and family myself.

Hands down the best dermatologists in town. My husband saw Dr. Sable for basal cell carcinoma on his nose. What appeared to be a small problem turned out to be much worse beneath the surface. After multiple rounds of MOHS surgery as well as grafting and reconstruction, we were very worried about how it would look in the end. To our surprise, his nose looks like it was never touched. Thank you, Dr. Sable.

I go here once a year to get checked for skin cancer because I pretty much live in the sun. I always feel comfortable having them check me for moles and spots. The nurses and doctors there are nice too. The wait time is always really terrible and it is not super easy to get into that location for appointments.

The customer service at AAID is exceptional. They place a high value on the client having a positive experience at their clinics. Cosmetic Physician Assistant, Ann Tran, took the time needed for a thorough consultation and had a very gentle touch when administering the injections.

My visit with the physician was good. However, I did not have a good experience with the front desk staff. I would recommend calling to verify your appointment a few days before you arrive. I was scheduled for a 9 am appointment and was told it was 8am when I got there. Then I was told that I should have received an automated phone call and voice message (which I never received). I never received an apology for an obvious mistake on their part and was sent to another location with an available opening . Thankfully I was seen.Then the front desk staff at the location I was sent to claimed to have sent my prescription to my pharmacy who has told me that they never received a prescription from them. Never had this issue with any other doctors office!

My experience and Acedemic Alliance has been superb. Both my mom and I see Ann Tran. Ann is an expert at what she does. She’s knowledgeable and experienced. Whether you’re getting a facial, Botox, filler, or something more extensive she is the one to go to. Ann does not overdo it, she customizes her approach to your needs. The staff are friendly and easy to work with. Laura Sokolewicz is always a friendly face who makes you feel welcome and special. They have the most state-of-the-art equipment, procedures and products so you know you’re getting the best service possible. I will continue to go there for all my beauty and anti aging needs.

I was told at sign in that any procedure that was not covered under my copay, I would be notified before the procedure was done. I was there to get a mole biopsied. I go to check out. They charge me 350.00!!! My co pay is 50.00. That is all I was expecting to spend. Not once did the doctor or nurse discuss any Procedure or price increase. They would not allow a payment plan or anything. I will NEVER return. I dont recommend this place to anyone. The ladies up front were rude and giggled on the phone when hearing about my issue. The Worst customer service.

I visit them for annual body scans, lotions, facials and much more! I love their powder-based mineral suntan lotion called Sunforgetable... it doesnt expire either!! Was a patient of Dr. Sable and I was dealing with a fungus infection. After two months, with multiple visits and almost $1000 spend he couldnt figure out a solution and I had no option but to switch to another Dermatologist. And now weeks later Im sill receiving very suspicious bills from them.

Oh my goodness!I called today to make an appointment and the secretary was so mean. I couldn’t believe it! I tried to make an appointment to see a female doctor because I’m a little nervous about a mole I have and I felt like it might be uncomfortable to have a male look at it. Not a big deal either way, but just wanted a woman doctor considering the location of the mole, lol.Some of the great (lol) conversation she and I had:- “You’re doing run on sentences and if you’re making an appointment on the phone we can’t help you unless you talk clearly“(I’ve never had feedback like that on the phone before & having a little class about the situation would’ve been nice. Perhaps there’s a bad connection, why be so aggressive over not understanding someone? Also, “doing run on sentences” literally doesn’t make sense, but I digress.)- I explained to her I get out of work at 3pm on Fridays, so I could go there after 3pm. She offered an appointment at 3pm and I kindly explained I get out of work at 3pm and asked if she had other options. This is when she took it to scold me (seriously, I’m not kidding) about how to make an appointment on the phone. “Well..you said 3 and now you’re telling me not 3 so do you want to clarify what do you want?? When you’re making an appointment on the phone you have to be clear to say what you want.” Thanks for the coaching, sister! ;)- After all that I stayed on the phone (why? Good question. I don’t know lol) and she scheduled an appointment with a male doctor. She wasn’t mean about this part, just forgot what I just told her less than 5 minutes ago. I guess bonus points for not being mean!- Finally, she scolded me for having little availability on my schedule...as if that’s any of her business. “Well...you’re a new patient, that wants a female doctor, and you work...” If you cannot assist me, let me know like a reasonable person and I can call back! I can move appointments! I’ve done it before and I have no issue doing this. Why the attitude?- I explained, “Okay so you’re making me uncomfortable and I’m just trying to make an appointment...I’m gonna go.” And hung up...She called back? Why? To be more mean and cruel and incompetent? I have no idea because I would never pick up a call from them.Needless to say, I will literally never go here and I will make sure anyone I know with dermatology needs knows what kind of person will be assisting them and handling their files. Such good bedside manner for people scared about skin cancer and everything else. A rotten egg spoils the bunch.Ps- called Florida West Coast skin cancer derm today and they booked my appointment within 5 minutes, were super nice, and take my insurance! Check them out!

Dr Sable, His Assistant Dale, and the rest of the staff are amazing ... I will be getting trestment here for a long time for my Basil Cell Nevus Syndrome . I had Mohs Surgery today with them and am 110 percent satisfied with every single thing about this place

Avoid this place at all cost! I went in with two very specific symptoms. I explained a few different things that might be factors. I saw Sheila Obradovic who completely dismissed the information I gave her and determined my issues were genetic. She said there was nothing I could do except treat the symptoms with medication (meds that she said were so dangerous that she wouldnt prescribe them to me until I was no longer of child bearing age). So, basically nothing I could do. She went on and on about products I could buy from them. I declined and asked again about the issues I mentioned. Finally, she agreed to order a full blood work up. She said she would call me as soon as the results were in. I went first thing in the AM and had the blood drawn. I signed up to be notified when the results were in with the lab. I received an email that my results were in a few days later and they were emailed to me by the lab. I waited 7 business days after that for a call from the doctor. Nothing. So, I called and asked that the doctor call me with the results. Nothing. I called again and asked for the results. Nothing. And again. THREE CALLS AND NO REPLY! My blood work showed that the things I mentioned to the doctor WERE the cause not genetics. However, I needed the doctors help to interpret the results and tell me how to correct them. I suffered needlessly for a month while trying to find a new ETHICAL doctor to explain my results and treat me. In addition to this doctor being completely incompetent and unethical, the other staff was rude as well. At one point a nurse or assistant just barged in and yelled at the doctor, You are holding up other patients! There are six patients waiting on you!!

Unfortunately, I was not blessed with nice skin, along with too much sun, I find myself spending a lot of time at Dermatology offices. I would like to share my positive experience with you. The staff, Yessenia at front, Dr. Vasiloudes and his assistant, Melissa were extremely helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. Highly recommend!

I cannot express enough how knowledgeable Dr. Vasiloudes is in his field. He took the time to help me understand my condition, then to discuss a few potential treatment options to determine my comfort level with each possible directive. He then gave me his personal best recommendation for the best approach to complete healing. He required a check-up appintment to ensure I was on track to healing as well. I had never experienced a skin condition of this nature. It was quite cumbersome, uncomfortable and honestly quite embarrassing. He really went above and beyond to help me in the most time efficient yet effective manner. He allowed me to schedule a final appointment, but guaranteed I would cancel it as my treatment would be complete. He knew I would be satisfied, and I did end up canceling it! I was all taken care of!I also had quite the extensive amount of complications after switching insurances, and the front office staff were so helpful. They assisted me to clarify my coverage, and even fit me in for a last minute appointment that my insurance company caused me to miss. I would recommend Dr. Vasiloudes and the staff at the Kennedy location to anyone.

Worst Front desk staff, EVER! I dont usually write reviews as I have better things to do with my time, but these guys deserve it. Everytime I call them, its a nightmare! Today, they put me on a 10 minute hold to reschedule an appointment! They are the least courteous and act like theyre doing you a favor, for just doing their job. The doctor will see you for less than 10 seconds so go here only if you expect to see PAs and nurses. The medical staff is great though and they are extremely professional. The front desk staff on the other hand, is a total disaster. Dont think Im ever coming back to this place.

This is the best derm office I have been to. Skin is not as straight forward as other fields so there isnt always an over night fix. However, I have seen 3 people in 2 offices and all were great. Zoe Storey PA- had a lot of knowledge and took a lot of time to explain and discuss treatments. Dr. Zook was incredibly professional, and was able to prescribe medicines that showed improvements in 2 days. I recently transferred to the Kennedy office. Maria Mosos PA- was very reassuring; she went out of her way to see me on short notice, and assure I had all needed meds before I had to travel out of town.

Dr. Vasiloudes changed my life! He has been treating my eczema since I was in grade school - Im 52 years old now. I was covered in open sores from head to toe due to my severe eczema. Children wouldnt play with me because of my skin condition. Then my parents discovered Academic Alliance in Dermatology! Dr. Vasiloudes took great care of me. He treated my eczema and my skin healed. He took an Ugly Duckling and made me a beautiful Swan!All of my family members go to Academic Alliance in Dermatology. The doctors are Brilliant, Kind, and truly Care about their patients!Everyone who works there is a joy! I cant say enough about Academic Alliance in Dermatology! Absolutely the worst doctors office Ive ever been to. I made an appointment with a specific dermatologist but when I got there I was seen by a PA. The PA had no clue what my condition was and was completely guessing so she took a biopsy. She also said she wanted to take a sample of a brown spot on my back and that she would give me some sample meds that day to see if it helped yet didnt do either. They did not call or email me to remind me of my appointment that I set weeks in advance, that they themselves said was needed for a follow-up. When I called to cancel the appointment and ask for my results over the phone they lied to me about my results not coming back and to set another appointment to get them. I told her Id like to speak with a manage and she transfered me to a direct answering machine. I called back immediately and spoke with another girl who was at least somewhat helpful and she said they DID have my results there but they couldnt give me the results without the doctors permission even though Im legally allowed to ask for and receive my test results. They said they didnt care what the law was, that that was their policy and I couldnt get my results. Finally they called me back with my results and it still wasnt even a doctor. They had the desk girl give me the opinion of a doctor who hadnt evem.seen me. He said it was just a bruise yet the PA that saw me made me believe I had a serious condition which could possibly be cancerous and that they didnt have to do a biopsy if I didnt want to pay for it but then scared me into it saying How much is your life worth to you? I spoke with doctor friends of mine and they advised it sounds more like a platelet issue not bruises. Bruises arent red patches that pop up, spread and stay for over two months. I even mentioned to the PA that my doctor friend told me to ask them if it may be a platelet issue and the PA dismissed that because it wasnt something they tested at that location. To conclude, I still dont have an answer to what my medical condition is, they will only let an actual doctor see me if I come back in and pay them again to do so and they have made me feel like it was my fault they didnt do their job in the first place. $400 for a three minute conversation with a PA and no results or solution to my medical condition. If you dont want to deal with a nightmare and would like to receive real medical care from a medical staff that actually cares about their patients, then please go somewhere else. This place is nothing but a money making scam.

The office is new and clean, but the staff is very unprofessional. I waited 45-60 mins to see a PA and she spent about 2-3 mins with me. I asked her a few questions and she told me she had other patients to go see. Completely rushing me through my appointment. So I spent money and time to see her and she cant spend more than 3 mins with me. Also I went to check out and the staff is showing each other funny pictures and videos on their phones laughing and making me stand around and wait to pay for the 2-3 min appointment.

Called multiple times only to be hung up on. Once somebody said to hold and pretended not to hear me, then hung up. Called a few minutes later, heard the phone pick up, then hang up. Real class. Was referred from Cigna and will be contracting them about this. Red Flag. If they cant handle the phones, Im not sure they should be handling patients.
