I chose Jose to do my SMP because of the natural look he creates. As of now, I have had three session, I could tell an improvement after each session. I will continue to go back to Jose for touch ups and small improvements over time. This is one of the most important things you will do to improve your looks, you do not want a quick process. You want someone who will take their time and make it perfect and Jose did that for me. I have a very busy schedule and Jose worked around my schedule and kept every appointment we had and I appreciate him for that.As far as the procedure, it was almost painless. I was very surprised at how little it hurt. The first session was about 3 hours, second around 3 hours and third around 2 hours. I just laid in a message chair and listened to music and Jose did his thing, very calm and easy. Each session was 1 month apart. Moving forward it will be an as needed appointment.After care: the first 4 days you cant get your head wet or sweat and Jose gives you this microbalm stuff to protect and moisturize. It does cake on your head from putting it on and not washing it off for 4 days, but I feel it really provides a protective coating for the crucial first 4 days. I still took showers with a shower cap on so no water got on my head. Day 4 -10 I was very very careful with my scalp. I made sure not to touch it except for LIGHT washing and moisturizing. I waited to day 12 to cut my hair and would recommend waiting that long as well, you can be guaranteed that it is healed by then.Again, this is one of the most important things you will ever do to improve your looks. I have much more confidence now and do not feel the need to wear a hat everywhere I go. I highly recommend Jose and it is well worth every penny! Thank you Jose. - Jeff

Made the trip from Houston to Tampa twice for 2 procedures one week apart. Had a nice looking result until it all faded away within 2 months. Im hispanic and paid about $2400Mr. Santiago offered for me to fly back in order to fix it but it would have been a lot more money added on top of what i had already spent in travel expenses to go back for a third time. I asked for partial money back since the procedure faded within months and Mr. Santiago didnt want to give any money back. Supposedly he has a lot of experience and a faded result on anybody within 2 months should NEVER happen if the correct pigment technique is used. I sent him pictures of my faded result and still didnt want to refund any of my $2400 since i wasnt going back to waste my time on a third trip from Houston to Tampa.

It took me 18 months to finally take the plunge into SMP. I was starting to lose more and more hair, that even my daughters started telling me I needed to do something with it. After years of watching my hairline recede and my bald spot grow, I started looking into hair replacement and hair transplant surgery. However, after a few consults, I realized that not only would these surgeries leave me with a huge scar, but werent 100% effective. I did tons of research for each location. However, it was his understanding of what it was like to deal with a lack of self confidence when it came to balding. I will admit, some guys can embrace it and pull it off. Im just not one that can. Like everybody does, I did a ton of research. Jose is superb. I couldnt believe the number one guy on the planet is right in my back yard. This is a very tedious process. Wear comfortable clothes, bring a blanket and be wowed when hes done. I kept it a secret to make my thin hair appear thicker. Mission accomplished!!!!!

Super happy with how everything turned out. I was sold after I met one of Joses customers about 6 weeks after his 2nd smp session was done. Everything looked natural and it looked like the dude had a full head of stubble. He also blended in a HT FUT scar for that customer and for myself. I would suggest you schedule something with Jose and try and meet one of his customers to see the work in person. It may take 2 to 3 sessions, but hell work with you to get it the way you want it. Its not painful and now I can swim much faster. Below are a couple before and afters 3 days after my first session.

Amazing training and support! As a barber trying to come into this industry, I was skeptical. I looked around, I asked, I doubted, but I kept getting recommended to come here, so in the end I took a leap of faith. Most courses out there will try to sell you on why theyre better, theyll lower their price, add more days, etc... Everyone tells you theyre the best, but the guys in S.T.A.R. dont tell you, they show you, and theyve simplified the process so we can start right away. They turned a complex and confusing craft (where people sell tons of different guns, needles sizes, pigments, etc) into a simpler, plug and play system anyone can follow if they do their part and apply themselves. And they keep on updating our tools and equipment to separate STAR branded artists from the rest. This is the closest youll get to buying into a franchise without the franchise cost. I can go on... 7 stars.
