I love this dress shop. I originally found it with my family about maybe 3-5 years ago looking for a dress for a pageant. Every season brings in new colors and more variety, dresses ranging from prom dresses to quince dresses and etc. I have recently got my Sweet 16 dress from Js and it is gorgeous and I love it!!!

We drove around visiting other Bridal shops looking for Prom dresses. Some boutiques had outrageous prices, others were very cluttered, and did not have hands on friendly staff. We stopped by J’s Fashion & Bridal Outlet and as soon as we walked in we were greeted. My daughter liked how the dresses were on display for her to see. She instantly found three she liked and narrowed it down to one quickly. I was very happy because the prices were affordable and their staff was very friendly and helpful. It was a very down to earth atmosphere and there was no pressure to purchase anything. We will definitely come back. Thank you ladies ❤️

Poor customer service! I bought a dress that Specifically had a split, the whole wedding party had a split in the dress. I did alterations with her and she didn’t steam my dress the day before the wedding. That’s all I asked her to do. How do you confuse STEAM with SEAM. I never asked her to close SEAM of my dress. She steamed it AND she seamed it. Why the heck would you close a split when I purchased it for that reason and i was the only one in the bridal party with a unopened split then blamed it on me that I suggested to close it, and that she had recorded our conversation stating that I asked to close the seam. So you record all your customers conversation??? So I asked for the recording (which obviously she was lying) so I can hear me say that I wanted a closed seam........she finally offered to fix the dress no charge. Why would the customer have to do all that when this obviously was your mistake with my dress.

I had a great time at this store with my bridesmaids. We had seriously tried almost every bridal store in Tampa but couldn’t find anything. On our way back home we saw this store and decided to look. We were greeted so kindly and were offered many ideas and solutions right away. My girls found their dresses and I feel so happy. Victoria is hilarious! She definitely made us laugh. The owner helped with the ordering process and everything went fast, which we were thankful for because we were starving at this point. Both the owner and the assistant were polite and caring!

The website says nothing about making an appointment to see the wedding dresses but once I arrived to search for my wedding dress I was turned down by the staff saying the owner was not at the store and without her I would not be able to see or try on the wedding dresses. The only dresses available to see are for bridesmaids or prom. I Went to davids bridal where I was made to feel welcome to try on all the dresses with or without the owner. Just wish I would of known before I drove to Js and waisted my time.

I’m from South Carolina and had to come down for a wedding. With my prom next weekend this place was a life saver. The dress is like nothing I have ever seen before: beautiful and very unique. The only problem was the dress I got was missing a hook that was not important, but for the small fee of $173 for the dress I got it was worth running to walmart to get a $4 sewing kit.

They saved my daughters prom!! After a horrible online dress purchase experience, we were left with no dress and out $200. Js Fashion was able to order my daughters dress and get it altered in time! Highly recommend. Helpful staff!

I purchased a wedding gown back in May 2017. I then came back to the store February 2018 to have the dress cleaned, and altered. I paid $150 to have the dress ready BY March 15, 2018. Today is that date and when I walked into the store I was told that my dress wasn’t ready because it still needed to be cleaned. It’s completely unprofessional to have a customer pay an amount for work to be done and the dress still not be ready on time. They have had my dress for almost a month. I will be back on Monday March 19, 2018 to get my dress so it better be here when I arrive.Will update review when I receive my dress.UPDATE———— 03/19/2018Received my dress today from alterations. Little pieces of hair is stuck all in the fabric. However my dress was done correctly and fits much better than before.

I had a wonderful experience. Originally went to pick out bridesmaids dresses which we did. Wedding is next month and was assured that dresses will arrive by the end of this month. I wasnt looking for a dress for myself but decided to look because I wasnt completely happy with the one I previously purchased. Was able to try on a few dresses without an appointment and ended up finding and purchasing one that I absolutely love. Big thanks to all 3 of the ladies in the shop especially the owner. Had the dress altered and paid for dry cleaning. We drove from Jacksonville, over 3.5 hours away. She had a month to do the work. On the day of final fit and delivery, the dress was eyeballed for cutting and hemming. The hen was not straight or even. There was an ink stain in the very front and the netting underneath was wrinkled. If this dress was dry cleaned, why was the netting wrinkled? Answer: because she never had it dry cleaned. Soooo, after voicings these problems, we arrange to return the following week. We get there 10 minutes after the store opens and guess what shes doing? Steaming the dress again. It smelt like the Tide stain pen. The front if the dress was wet. She was in the process of removing the stain and wrinkles from the skirt and netting. The repairs were poorly executed. Needless to say, we got our money back! NEVER USE THIS STORE! They do inferior work and make you think theyre doing you a favor! I had to give her 1 star just so I could post this......I wouldnt give her any stars! Js FASHION &BRIDAL OUTLET SUCKS!

PRICING IS OK,......but they did not have my dress ready when they told me it would be Friday. I get married Saturday and they didn’t not hem my dress and got two sizes to small. They wanted me to pay more money which I wasn’t having it. I paid my dress in full price and the still didn’t get it right. They lack in communication and the owner and rude, nasty, and disrespectful. She said all the dresses come from China but fail to realize not everyone has small waist nor small chest. I will NEVER RECOMMEND SOME TO COME HERE AND WAIST THEIR TIME. YOU GET WHAT U PAID FOR WITH EXTRA BULL ON THE SIDE.

Absolutely horrible customer service. The lady had an attitude the whole time, and then had the nerve to cockily imply my mom was fat. At all the other stores she was wearing dresses 2 sizes smaller than in here, and when we said that she gave a sarcastic laugh. She didnt offer to help with anything at all, the fitting rooms were dirty and didnt even have mirrors, and the lady kept making snide remarks about my mons size as if we were at a damn roast session.

This was a horrible experience. I came in on April 23rd 2016 and my wedding is/was May. 21st 2016. I ordered 4 red dresses. Rosie was very professional and helpful but the other lady (I believe she is Asian) was horrible. She was not paying attention to anything we were saying. While she was measuring my bridesmaids for their dresses she kept writing down the wrong sizes. We told her over 4 times who size goes on which order form (sizes small, medium and two XL). To get the dresses in time we each paid an extra $10 to have the order rushed. After everything was order and told I will receive the dresses on May.7Th 2016. Before I went to the location on May 7Th I called and was told the dresses will arrive May 11Th (a week before my wedding).On May. 9Th I received another call and was told that all 4 dress we orddered will not be here in time for my wedding but there is another dress that is very similar we can order and get it next week (the week of my wedding). So I told here to order and Rosie guaranteed the dresses will be here on time. I asked if the sizes were correct and she said yes.I received another call that Friday May.13Th.2016 that the dresses arrived. I went there on Saturday May. 14Th and picked up the dresses and notice 2 of the dresses were size XS...(remember we told her over 4 times the sizes small, medium and two XL and she measured each girl).One of the dresses did not fit and we were told to bring it back for alterations or reorder. We got to the shop and was told we would need to pay an extra $25 to bring it out (remember we ordered a bigger size....she(Asian lady) ordered the wrong size). We spent over 30min going back and forth with her and the she stated she will rush order the right size and we will get the dress on Friday May. 20th. (The day before my wedding) which is unacceptable! I asked why she is not able to do next day air and she said she will have to pay more (THIS IS HER FAULT IN THE FIRST PLACE) so we go back and forth with this. Then when I told her to forget about it and Ill take the dress she said she will rush order the dress and have it here by May 20Th but I had to leave the too small dress there (remember I already paid for it) I refused to leave a dress I already paid for in the hands of such an unreliable person. So after going back and forth for about another 5 min she finally said she will rush order the dress and give me a call when it gets there on Friday and I can take the dress I already paid for home. After all of this she asked me to pay again for the dress (remember we had a whole discussion about me not leaving the dress) Then I told her again I already paid and she lost my receipt. So now I have the too small dress and I am hoping and praying the right size comes in time.PLEASE DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS LOCATION. HORRIBLE. HORRIBLE! HORRIBLE! Also for those wondering she spoke very good English so there was no room for a language barrier.I would give this place negative 5 stars 👎👎👎👎

We should have read all the comments first and listened. A few weeks ago we were looking for my daughters prom dress in Tampa. All the malls had the same old stuff. On the ride home we saw this shop with dresses in the window. So we stopped. As soon as we walked in our daughter found her dress. The store was closing in 30mins enough time for us to try on the sample dress. The lady (owner) told us the price of the dress and said you can pay half now half later. So my daughter got measured and we ordered the dress. We gave the lady our card and she charged the whole price. We thought its ok its paid for whatever. She said we will have it on March 20th, we will call you. So a few days later she called and said they dont have the color in small so if we wanted that color wed have to get the medium. My husband said well we dont want it and our money back if we have to pay for alterations. She said no we will take care of that, its fine. No charge. Ok order it. So the 20th passed and we called on the 25th to see what was up. She said your dress is here. My husband was like well why didnt you call us she said no we told you the 20th. He was like you said you would call us. Anyway we went in our daughter tried on the dress and of course it was to big but we knew it needed alterations. So she gets done and said it will be $60! My husband said no that wasnt the deal. She said no alterations are at the top part of the dress not the hem on the bottom. He said no alterations are alterations! So not to upset our daughter he was like ok but im not happy. I mentioned streaming because it was wrinkly. She said well I will do that free to make you happy. It cost $20 to send out. (Now I know she steams them because I read it earlier on these reviews.) She then told us to say THANK YOU for this! We were like yeah thanks. So we left to our car and talked it over and since we live an hour away decided it would cost more money then it was worth and we called our seamstress to see if she could do it. She said yes and she would do it for $40! So we went in and got the dress! NEVER AGAIN!!! This ladies a con artist! She knew she was wrong and her worker even said it! Dont fall for it you will have a problem one way ir another.

Liars, liars, liars. truly amazing how the owner of this store stole our money. 1st and for most customer service in this place is non existent. we walked in and we werent even acknowledge. once we asked if someone could help us sales lady ask we give her a minute cuz she was eating, that should have been a red flag. finally we found the dress on a catalog. paid the dress in full and was told it would come in in 3 months. a little over 3 month later I called the store and was told the dress was there and i could go pick it up.i asked why havent anyone from the store contacted me and i was told not to worry about that the important thing is that the dress is in, no apology no nothing. We get to the store and is the wrong dress, wrong everything. Wrong color, wrong style, cheap material. The owner told me thats exactly what i ordered if i wanted to change the dress for the one i originally paid for i would be charge restocking fell plus a $175 re order fee. my wedding is in 1 month. after going back and forth the lady would not admit her mistake and kept telling to call the police . why would i wanna call the police i just want my dress. finally she refund me back 70% of the full amount i had paid Js to order my dress. I cried so much but everything happens for a reason. i ended up finding a beautiful dress with no stress at a Bridal Shop not far from this hell hole. Stay away. liars, deceivers, bad bad bad business ethic. this place deserves minus 5 stars

AWFUL! Spent $80 to alter a $300 Prom Gown for my daughter and it looked like a homeless drunk person altered it. Too short for even flats! They argued with me and tried to blame it on me and my daughter. Now I understand why they have a lock and buzzer on the door. When we purchased the dress someone else was in the store complaining about their dress being ruined by altering also! I was in the store Saturday and I was stunned the way the owner embarrassed the spanish lady in front of clients making,her do the measurements 4 times. That is unprofessional she needs to learn manners and respect for her workers. Also she had her hands filthy with pizza and was,licking her fingers in front,of the clients and looking in the books. Do not recommend! The Oriental lady doesnt have her stuff together. We had to rush order our dresses which was $10 extra per dress for my sisters wedding which is on May 21st. Which was fine at first. Then found out the dress we originally ordered wouldnt be here in time. So we had to settle for our back up dresses. No refund on the rush order payments. First off the day we first visited, we were measured by the Oriental lady. She mixed up our measurements on the tickets. So instead of getting a new ticket so things would be clear, she scratched out what she had written and rewrote our sizes. We paid to get it rush ordered on April 23rd to show up May 7th . Didnt happen. Its May 14th. So we had to get our back up dresses. My sister tried on her bridesmaid dress and it wouldnt fit. It was an extra small. We originally ordered a medium. The Oriental lady had misplaced/lost the ticket for my sisters dress. So instead of apologizing she said they could alter it for $25! We were shocked that we would have to pay $25 for a mistake she clearly made. So she came up with a terrible solution. The Oriental lady said she would rush order the correct size, but she would have to keep the other dress that my sister had already paid for. She said it would be sitting at my sisters house anyway. Which we quickly declined. But what really made it seem like she didnt care was when the Oriental lady told us how much it would cost her to rush order that dress for this monday which was $70, she said she didnt want to pay for that..... Thats when I realized this place was not where anybody should do ANY business. She finally gave in and said we could keep the dress we already paid for and she will rush order the correct size. So now we are stuck with the extra small dress that should have been a medium. And a vague promise that the rush ordered dress will be here Friday the day Before the wedding! The other ladies by the way were great! They should be the owners or find new jobs because the Oriental lady is making them look bad!

Absolute horrible place!Do NOT by any means rent any tuxs from this place!The tuxs the magazine that they showed me looked splendid! I rented 8 of them 4 months before my wedding! They told me that they would arrive at the store 4 days before the wedding day and actually arrived 2 days! When the guys went to try them they looked as if they were dressed for halloween because all of the sizes were absolutely huge and super old style!!!! Plus the material is very cheap! Of course the sizes were going to be huge since the day of measurements the managers were touching the guys body and saying how big and strong they were, tell me about NO PROFESSIONALISM!!!!. I went the day BEFORE my wedding to take them back because none of the guys liked it on them and the manager even told us that its true that it doesnt look nice. And PROMISED us that she would give us almost $800 that the guys had paid. Its more than a month from the wedding and all of those promises went to the garbage.I will never ever recommend this place. One of my flower girls dress started shredding into pieces during the wedding. I had choosen a specific color that i wanted for my bridesmaids dresses and they had told me that a dress would come in that same color and when it got there it was not that color! Everything in that place are pure lies!!!DO NOT GO THERE!!!!
