I had the best experience with Jessica and the ladies at Emelina’s Bridal. I was chosen to be a bridesmaid and it was my first experience shopping for a dress at a bridal shop and I ended up buying the first dress I tried on. Jessica was my consultant and she was phenomenal to work with. The dress I purchased was one she picked out based on what I was looking for. I had picked out a couple other dresses to try on, but that dress stuck out to me and made me feel like a princess! She was so attentive kind, and extremely helpful. I immediately called the bridal party and let them know about Emelina’s and sure enough the other bridesmaid and mini bridesmaids came and had an amazing experience just like I did. There attention to detail in the alterations afterwards were above and beyond and all the dresses fit beautifully. I would definitely recommend Emelina’s Bridal for any future bridesmaids and brides!

I had the most amazing experience at Emelina’s Bridal Boutique. Went there for a bridesmaid dress which they helped me find and completed the alterations to perfection. I needed to have my basketball uniform altered because it was to big and Emelinas made it perfect! They brought in the sides and adjusted my shorts to where it all fits so perfect. The owner was a beautiful young lady by the name ofJessica, who was so helpful and friendly. Looking at her you would think she is fresh out of Highschool but don’t judge a book by its cover because she was absolutely amazing and very intelligent and knew what she was talking about!! I would strongly reccomend going to emelinas for any alteration needs!!!!

I was impressed with the selection they had for mothers dresses, more than other places. The service is absolutely excellent. They are very clear regarding your options, timelines for ordering, and pricing. I would recommend this business to anyone.

I took my daughter-in-law there to find her dress,. She found the dress she wanted and the lady told her the dress was on back order and it would probably be in time to alter it if needed, but it would be cutting it close, but if she would like the one off the rack they would give her a discount. The discount ended up being $120, she thought she was saving money (our first mistake). Whatever she saved was ate up in alterations. I could swear I remember the lady at the time saying they would not charge to have it taken in. However, every time we came back they charged her almost $200 in alterations, with a total of almost $600. The first time they did the measurements, my daughter-in-law mentioned that the dress was not tight enough. She was told not to worry it would be tighter, but because of the ribbing in the side of the dress they could not pin it any tighter. She came back 2 weeks later, it was still too big. Then they charged her another $200 to alter it again. When she mentioned that she told the seamstress it was not tight enough, the lady said you must have lost weight. The dress was totally paid for with all alterations, but when she went to pick it up was told she had to pay for more. I feel like they took advantage of a young girl who had lost both her parents. I could have flown my sister in and paid her to alter the dress and probably spent half the money.

I cannot believe I havent thought to do this review sooner. Emelina is the only person I will use for my alterations. My grandmother (Lee Livingston) became a client many many years ago with Emelina altering her Talbots suits and she then became great friends with Emelina. Emelina has altered everything from my homecoming/ prom dresses to my wedding dress. She is by far the best in town! I highly recommend her and her team.

My brother and I went to Emelina’s for some last minute alterations. They did a wonderful job. Great communication and customer service. I’d definitely recommend them. If I need anymore alterations in the future, this is my place.

Came in on short notice (a week before the wedding) for alterations on my wifes dress and they did an excellent job! The dress turned out perfect and considering the quality of work and time frame, the price was great as well. We were initially worried about set backs but it was a one and done at Emelinas. Would definitely recommend!

Emilina is great! The people are friendly and very helpful. I bought my Daughters Quince dress from here last year and they did an excellent job helping us pick the right dress and making it fit. Extremely helpful staff and great place to go for tux rentals. My nieces sweet 16 will be coming up for Dec 2020 and I totally plan to go back to Emilinas for the right dress.

I love this place! It’s a small store but they have nice dresses. The staff are attentive but they aren’t all over you like they are at other places. I liked that I could take my time and look around. I ended buying my wedding dress here last week. I found the same dress at another bridal shop for 3x the price! So happy I got my dress from Emelinas instead of being ripped off by the other bridal store.

The only place I trust for gown alterations. Nowhere else! I had my daughters gown altered here and was pleased with the result and workmanship. I couldnt tell at all that the gown was atered when we came for a fitting. And the gown came out like it was perfectly made for my daughter. Emelina is so professional, very nice and kind lady. Her staff are so polite and friendly. They always make sure that your visit to their boutique is worth of your time.

I picked out my dress with only having two months until my wedding and I have had two fittings so far and have my next fitting next week. They are really designing and tailoring this wedding dress to fit me PERFECTLY for my special day in July 2014!!! I recommended this place to my daughter for her wedding gown alterations. I cannot say enough good things about Emelinas regarding their alterations and fitting service. It was obvious from the first moment that they really care about excellence and they really know what they are doing. They were fussing over my daughter and her dress throughout her two fittings and when something was a little off on the second fitting, they asked her to wait while they fixed it so that she could take the dress with her and it would be perfect. The woman who created the bustle for the train showed me how to attach the loops and arrange the pleats. Everything about this experience was delightful, and it was worth every penny and more. Super attentive. You can tell they all have been doing this for years! They also dont charge an arm and a leg for being to close tobwrdidng date, in fact I didnt have an extra fee for being 5 weeks out when I brought my dress like another company did that wanted to charge me $100. Love Love Love them! AMAZING people! They are SO nice and patient. We went dress shopping for 6 months! Finally found Emelinas (after an hour drive-totally worth it). They were the nicest people we had met after our long six month search, They were able to find me a beautiful dress below budget and alter it (below budget)! Alterations were great! We went up and because we were an hour away they fixed the dress for me then instead of making us come back another day. Quick, perfect, work! These ladies know what they are doing! Five stars for sure!

So happy I found Emelinas! I had my wedding dress altered by another alteration business and was very dissapointed by the result. So I came here and was reassured the dress would be corrected and adjusted in the short time frame I needed (2 weeks). The ladies were all very helpful, they knew what I wanted, and didnt stop making adjustments until it was perfect. They showed me many different options to solve my fitting issue and did it at a very reasonable price. I will definitely be using them in the future for any alteration needs!

I have used Emelinas since my oldest daughters Quince in 2009. My experience was amazing. All the ladies there were very professional and kind. I went back for my second daughters Quince in 2015 and again had a wonderful experience. Friends that Ive referred there also enjoyed there experience at Emelinas.

Emelina and her alterations team are just incredible people. I bought my wedding dress from a different store in my hometown, and the dress alterations person at that salon had recently quit, leaving me up the creek with time ticking to get my dress in order. Emelina saved the day by taking me in and did a fantastic job. You know youre getting cared for when 3-4 people are working on you at one time. Her team listened to my concerns with the dress (I wanted it taken in quite a bit and a bustle added), and overall the cost was extremely reasonable for the amount of hours put in.I cant recommend Emelinas Bridal & Boutique enough and will definitely go back for future pieces I need altered.

The selection here is great, however the experience left a lot to be desired. While I understand there was no appointment made prior, myself, my mother and grandmother, and bridesmaids stopped in to see bridesmaids dresses just to look around. We were helped rather quickly and it deteriorated from there. The sales lady was rude and appeared bothered that we were there when there were only two other customers there. Catty remarks and snide looks were made towards my bridal party when they were not paying attention causing myself and my maid of honor to be uncomfortable. Sad part is, I found the bridesmaids dress and party dress I loved there but have since found elsewhere due to the treatment that was received.

Based on the reviews online I thought I was going to love shopping at Emelinas. Unfortunately, I could not have been more wrong. I had an appointment for noon and wasn’t helped until 12:40. At 12:40, the consultant handed me the dresses that I picked while waiting and gave me a fitting room. My mom had to help me the dresses because the consulate said she was too busy. When the consultant came by and we asked questions about alterations, the consultant gave us very rude answers. Also, children were running throughout the store. A little boy opened the door my dressing room while I was changing. This was my first experience trying on wedding dresses and Emelinas ruined it. Please do not waste your time going to Emelina.

Emelinas was a dream come true for making over my aunts 90s wedding dress that looked like something from a disney princess movie. She brought up to date and I executed my vision. The staff was lovely, my dress was done in a timely manner at an affordable price and I was a happy bride every time I went for a visit. My wedding day was a dream and my dress was the star of everything.

I sent my beautiful plus sized teenager in with my mom to have some alterations to her prom dress, BIG MISTAKE, They made her feel fat and gave her an estimate of over 200 dollars for a job that was done the same day at citrus park mall while we shopped and paid less than 30 dollars for. Shame on you all your whole staff. Ever heard of treating people with respect? Especially a child who isnt blind to her own body issues, she lives with them, hell going to prom at all is a win for her. Gordita was it one of your sizeist employees called her? Not oh I dont know by her name as in any shop with decorum. Advertise as a Boutique for only the fit and trim. Had she been treated as a human, I would have paid the 200 because making my child happy is the only thing that matters! Guess what they called her at the seamstress who altered the dress? By her damn name. They told her how gorgeous she looked and hell even if they didnt mean it they knew they had a young girl in front of them who doesnt need one more Gordita thrown at her. 1 star is too much. And let me tell you the lord knew not to let me be with her because I would have promptly dispensed every single flaw at each of your ignorant employees. Disgusting in this age of progress to experience this within our own Hispanic community.

I cannot thank Emelina and her alterations team enough for what they did for me. After bringing my wedding dress to a tailor in Tarpon Springs, it was destroyed. The tailor did not know how to assemble a bustle, took the lace off the front of my dress because he said there was no way to put it back on and he took in the back of my dress and made it uneven and extremely noticeable with seams. The Tailor also marked the inside of my dress with a black permanent marker.I had 9 DAYS to try and get the dress of my dreams fixed. My Maid of Honor found Emelinas and recommendated them to me. Emelina and her team were absolutely wonderful. They knew what needed to be fixed and givin the timeline I was against, they were up for the task. I had numerous ladies working on my dress at the same time to make sure they could get it done in time (even staying late after hours with me). My dress is extremely delicate and made of all lace with a train. Emelina pointed out that the dress still needed to be taken in on the sides, chest area, the back of the dress and the material underneath the dress and she was right. I came in for 3 fittings within the 9 days and when picked it up the day before my wedding it fit me BEAUTIFULLY!! They were even able to add lace back on to the front of the dress! 🙌🏻This place was a life savor!!!!! Thank you so so much!

Emilinas was the first bridal boutique I went to. It was also my last as I found my dream dress on the first try. The boutique was referred to me by my coworker who bought her daughters dress here. I am a firm believer in word of mouth and personal experience. From the moment my mother and sister walked in we were treated like family. They pulled all the dresses I had preselected from online. Their selection was very large and even though it is a smaller show room it was still very easy to look through the dresses. It was very well organized. I wanted to make some ppersonal customizations and Emilina was a dream to work with when it came time to make those changes and alterations. She was 100% thorough during every fitting. After my last fitting I had a minor change I wanted to make to my bustle. To say the least she went avove and beyond to make sure it was perfect and everything I wanted it to be. She stayed over two hours after closing to make sure the fit was perfect but also the sewing so I didnt have to make another trip to Tampa from Sarasota! She was always so flexible with my fittings as well. I cound go on and on about all the wonderful work Emilina and her staff do but the most important was the way I was treated. She treated me like family and I will forever be greatful for having the experience I did while finding and making my perfect wedding dress. I recently referred a coworker and her sister who have also had an excellent experience.
