First of all, I liked this place overall. I felt safe, the management was always sweet and they had a great pool and gym. However, I do have many complaints. First, the trash system is ridiculous if youre going to implement this system where you pick up the trash every night, do it right! SO many times I have been left with my trash outside (once for days) for a small tear or wrong trash bag in the bin. Good thing you pay 30$ for this service. The hallways STUNK because they were so horrible at getting the trash. Noisy neighbors was an issue, I complained about our upstairs neighbors and nothing was ever done. Lastly, dont expect that cute little 250$ deposit you put down to do anything. They will up charge you close to 1000 dollars to fix your damages that are normal wear and tear. They are scammers!!! Attorney is involved because this is just unheard of.
Just moved in and love it here! Great property and well maintained
I’ve been a resident here for quite some time now & this is honestly the best experience I have ever had living in an apartment. The leasing office is filled with kind & helpful individuals. Adam is great! Maintenance responds fast to any orders you put in, although I haven’t had any major issues (just needed a new light bulb). The pool and gym are always kept clean. I feel very safe walking my dog at night/early in the morning. Lastly, I am a very light sleeper & am extremely pleased by the fact that I have not once been woken up by a neighbor.I would definitely recommend living here. Great management is hard to find nowadays and am lucky I found it here. Thank you to the Jefferson staff for making me feel at home!
LOVE this apartment complex. Ive lived here for 3 years - in 2 separate apts - and both were perfect. I will echo everything everyone else is saying here - the staff are just wonderful. Adam, Tyler, and Flerida have been like family to me. The pool area is so nice, and not over crowded, as this is a smaller complex. I use the gym quite often (should MORE often...). It is small but mighty. It has everything that you could need. All of the finishings in the apartments are on new side - with all of the newer finishes thru out that you could want. LOVE!!!
Not only are the apartments beautiful but the leasing office is wonderful to work with! As a Furnished Housing Provider we work with many communities in the Tampa Bay area and have thoroughly enjoyed working with Adam and Flerida. Our clients are very happy with their accommodations and the convenient location.
For this apartment complex being quite expensive, you would think that they would keep the steps and the hallways very clean. They look extremely dirty and it’s unpresentable.
Today we were at this community as a food vendor from Sweet corn Elea and the front office guys were so nice and friendly. The residents were awesome as well. The location is great!
Stayed at this modern apartment complex for 3 years. Had a blast. Maintenance always got to their tickets in a timely manner. They were able to work with me during covid and extended my lease for a few days due to military obligations. Thanks Jefferson, Its been real✌🏽
Love the office staff... nice complex.
Great ! Staff is very friendly and goes above and beyond to make me feel at home. The current manager and all previous managers are very nice and always fast in responding to any request, the maintenance team is on top of their game keeping the place nice and fixing any problems quickly. I had some issues with my washer but after submitting a service request online I got a brand new one in no time, the amenities are awesome and the staff is always coming up with events . I have been living here for the last three years and I honestly never had any issue.
We moved in a couple months ago, and absolutely love living here! Our apartment was in great shape when we moved in, and the office staff, particularly Maria, have always been great! The location is perfect for us, and I am so appreciate that the gate is always functioning. Parking has not been an issue for us, as there are always open spaces around our building, and our neighbors are great. Any time we submit a maintenance request, they are taken care of quickly and done right the first time. My only complaint is that some residents dont clean up after their dogs, despite the numerous poop bag stations with trash cans!
I am active duty military and had to sign a lease from thousands of miles away before returning home. The office staff were extremely flexible and reliable! They kept me updated and sent me plenty of pics of units! They gave me a free patio set and a really cool welcome package. The pool area is gorgeous and the fitness center is always clean.
The apartments are nice and modern but management is horrible, my AC broke down 4-5 times in 2 months they brought us a temporary AC unit that fit in the window till they could fix the unit AC
The luxury apartments are nice. The pool is nice. You will get to know your neighbors very very well. All your neighbors on each side and above or below. Its as if you get to live your lives with them. How nice. There are many many dogs since it is so pet friendly. They have stations for curbing your dogs in case you want to use them but its not enforced and most residents just leave it on the grounds to compost the bushes and grass areas. The property is nicely laid out and decorated with green areas just perfect for the complexes animals to use and fertilize. And if there is a stain in the halls from a spill or at the mailbox you can rest assured it will be dealt with in time. You wont have to fret about your friends and family thinking poorly of your living conditions here!
Great location.making Moving a breeeeeeeze =) thanks (Maria), The Official Choice of Move ALL of IT.
I have lived here for almost two years now and have nothing but great things to say about this place. Management is very friendly and maintenance is on point. Our maintenance requests have always been fulfilled either same or next day. I live on third floor so I do not have any complaints about noise. I get compliments every time someone visits. The only inconvenient thing is the lack of elevators- moving was a fun process.
Best apartments in Tampa and best location for MacDill. I found that Casa Bella (across the street) abuses military lodging rates and charges full rate for their apartments. Jefferson Westshore - with furniture rental, cable/internet and electricity - was more than $1k cheaper, and A LOT more modern and secure. They also dont have the huge bug/rat problem that my friends found in Casa Bella and other apartments. Highly recommend over anywhere else.
This is the worst place that I have ever lived, and Ive been a renter for most of my life. Dont be deceived by the happy smiles of the office staff, and the beautiful apartments. The staff will be gone within 3 months (staff has changed at least 5 times in my 2 years living here), apartments are made from cheap, paper thin materials, and the train tracks behind this place are ridiculous.Amenities close at 6pm. You can get into the pool area until 8, but youre screwed if you need to use the bathroom, because there isnt one past 6. Residents are rowdy until late at night, they smoke pot in the pool area, dogs run free and their waste is left without remove. The maintenance staff is a joke. Unresponsive, and uncaring about the residents.I was so excited when I moved in, I thought I had finally found truly luxurious apartments. No, instead I found headaches, scams, and disappointment. I wouldnt wish this place on my worst enemy.
Very chic complex to live at. Great staff
Moving out at the end of week. Apartments look nice, pool is very nice, but many issues with our apartment- ice maker in refrig, continues not to work properly after maintenance tried to fix, dishwasher is cheap and does not wash dishes. Our fire alarm had issues, waking us up in the middle of the night. Even with a gated community, my wifes car was broke into, though nothing was taking. Property is surrounded by sketchy neighborhoods. There are not lights in any of the bedrooms, which I never understood why, so youll need lamps. On the weekends, the younger crowd can be pretty loud near the pool, up till midnight. And if you live on the upper floors, and you or someone you know is coming to visit that is handicap, oh well take the stairs, no elevator. This may not be the apartments fault but the post office here sucks- you get other apartments Mail, and they get yours, packages go missing.Staff was always nice to us- no issue there. I believe price is too high for these apartments, if you want to park your vehicle under a awning, you have to pay an extra fee. Do your research if you plan on moving here, you may love it here, or hate it, but remember sometimes looks isnt everything, and these apartments look great from the road.
We spent the winter here, loved our stay! Staff was great and very helpful...always cleaning the buildings and grounds! Beautiful pool and clubhouse! 💜
The best apts In Tampa bay, I had the pleasure to there tenant for 4 years and feel greatfull for ther excellent costumer service, friendly staff, and always attentive to your needs Emilio, very professional with A lot of knowledge knowledge and alway very friendly in general thanks you to all the staff 🙏🙏👍👍👍😀
Currently renting a two bedroom apartment and are moving out June 27th. Really cant wait to move. We gave our two month notice after a large rent increase. We then cleaned out our storage unit, that we have rented for two years. When we signed the lease we where told storage units are month to month. My husband went to the office to tell them the unit is available. Spoke to front desk and told them another man on the first floor really wanted the storage unit. They said they would check to see who that was and let him know when it was transferred. He stopped by a few days later and different staff said there were tenants waiting for a first floor storage unit and they would contact them and let him know. On his third visit to the office he was told that the storage unit was tied to the lease and could not be released until we left. I went to the office with our copy of the lease and asked to speak to the manager but was told she was busy and I was to come the next day. They pulled out our file and looked at the lease but could not find where it said the unit was connected in the lease. I called the corporate office and the manager and none have returned my call. We have no need for this storage unit and tenants are waiting for one so this makes no sense. Very upset with lack of management. Management changes every 3 to 4 months. I guess that speaks to all the issues.
Great staff with an awesome personality & very helpful when you need assistance. Also, the team sure loves to keep the buildings clean & maintained.
Very bad material use on this apartment complex I live there for two years and the amount of maintenance that they have been done in my apartment its unbelievable ( more then 50 times), the maintenance wasnt on time never, the people leave next-door are not so friendly, When I left I left the apartment in really nice condition but they decide to charge me almost $1400 for repair I am feel very insulted and Ill my attorney taken care of it Im not recommend this place to no one because they not respect human being as a human being and nobody have the right to do that.
This place is an absolute joke, management (Lucy) never returns emails or phone calls lived here for a year and was the worst experience with an apartment complex I have ever had, from all aspects. Upon turning in my keys at end of lease I requested a walk through, front office said that they would call and set one up, no one ever called me,I reached out numerious times within first two weeks. Finally get an email saying I owe a $1000 in damages which apartment was just about perfect. I Responded asking to provide me with pictures; not a response. 8 months later boom it’s on my credit. Highly recommended to seek for better living!!!!Updated after their Response, no Jefferson Westshore you did not respond to my emails or return my calls to have a walk through, yes I did receive pictures 8 months later that it true. For 2 weeks I called and emailed everyday, no response I am telling you and everybody; that Jefferson Westshore acts on bad faith to benefit themselves this is true.
Where do I begin? id like to publicly say that MANAGER Flerida is the worst manager in tampa! after months of noise complaints about our upstairs neighbors screaming, fighting, cursing and banging(no joke, not normal everyday noise) through the night into the morning- and being threatened by the noisy neighbors ( who broke my gas cap), absolutely nothing was done to solve the issue. Adam on the other hand was fantastic, he always tried to solve any issues with poise. After over a year of living at the Jefferson noise issues were never handled, especially if it was during quiet hours... Although when we listened to music at a normal level in the middle of the day(4pm), Flerida had no problem coming to our apartment to tell us to be quiet. Ive lived all over the world and never dealt with a manger with such double standards! extremely disappointed with the Jefferson. DO NOT MOVE HERE UNLESS YOU ENJOY CONSTANT ISSUES.ANDWHEN YOU YOU MOVE OUT BE PREPARED TO PAY FOR NORMAL WEAR AND TEAR ON THEIR CHEAP ESTABLISHMENT- ie door frame that is not damaged, just had someone living in the apartment it was in-
Staff is AMAZING!! Best place to call home in Florida. Shoutout to Flerida, Adam, and Tyler for making this complex as great as it is. Wouldn’t be happier anywhere else. Military is certainly welcomed and extremely close to base. The RPP program here is excellent. Everything you need in one convenient complex. No complaints from this guy. The apartments are laid out nicely and it’s more than enough room for any family. You’re known by name and treated like family. If you’re looking at reviews to help aid your decision, hopefully this one helps you out. Mahalo. (P.S. pets are family as well so that’s a huge thumbs up)
DO NOT RENT HERE. Dont be deceived by the new construction--it looks nice, but very poor quality materials. But the management is the real problem. If you are military, run the opposite direction--they will find a way to take advantage of you. Trying to get anything done is a huge hassle, but if they need something from you, expect to be harrassed. Maintenance takes forever, expect it to take several attempts. You will have to explain everything several times--only the manager has decision-making authority, and she wont help you.
Amazing staff!! Wonderful property always very willing to assist in any way. This place is like a little gem in south Tampa!
Apartments looked nice at first glance, but the management was terrible. On multiple occasions it took several weeks for them to come change a light bulb. Besides the gym all of the amenities closed way too early. The construction was rather cheap and my upstairs neighbors would wake me up in the middle of the night with their stomping around.
One word- mold. Well actually two... Mold and cockroaches. Called over 5 times about getting sprayed before they actually came. Have done absolutely nothing about mold expect put a dehumidifier in, no other action or compensation for my damaged things was done. Manager is very rude. Over-priced. Dont recommend anyone moving here.
Loved our apartment, HATED the management. The only person who knew what they were talking about was Adriana, however, it was impossible to get in touch with her. The ladies at the front desk never knew anything that was going on, and were NEVER helpful. I called regarding an issue and nothing was done about it over a 4 week period. The lack of customer service is what dissatisfied my stay. As an apartment complex, you all should really work on this.
I have just renewed my lease for my 3rd year, so I decided it’s time to share my experience living here. The GoodThe whole community looks beautiful; it feels like luxury living to me. I love it.The apartments are very well designed, love the little details. Not only do they look nice, they are also very functional. Bathrooms and closet are very roomy. Most closets have their own lights, with light switches inside the closets. There are vents above every room, allowing great ventilation around the apartment. They come a very large washer and dryer. All appliances are nice. The amenities at the club house are very nice with TV’s, a kitchen bar, fireplace and Apple computers for residential use. The pool is very nice, I love their pool. I sooo wished they had a heater for the winter months. Gym is very nice, decent size and open 24 hrs. So many times, I go in there and have the gym all to myself, but I like to workout late. They continue adding upgrades to the community. Since I’ve been here, they’ve upgraded the grilling area; Granite counter top grills. They’ve added a new smith machine in the gym (the machine that allows bench pressing and squatting). And recently they added a gas station style vacuum, a similar car wash machine, and a pet wash station: 75 cents for vacuum, $1.50 for car wash, don’t remember pet wash. I usually do that in my tub. But all these things are wonderful. If you’re a dog lover, this place is VERY pet friendly, hence the pet wash upgrade and doggie park.Staff is extremely nice. I do some ebay business and always receive packages. They are always so nice/helpful/accommodating. I really couldn’t ask for more, they are all really sweet, Richelle and Iisha especially. The BadFloors are a bit thin here. I find myself walking on my toes often, so people aren’t hearing me banging my big feet around. I’m sure kids and inconsiderate people living above you can be a pain, luckily I live on the top floor. There are many outdoor amenities, unfortunately, there is no access to the bathrooms in the clubhouse after it closes at 6pm. I understand how having a 24 hour bathroom, where people can be do God knows what in there, could be a problem. But, only if there was a way to offer bathroom access until a bit later. The TruthI read several reviews before writing mine and don’t believe some of the things people have said. Complaints about staff is untrue, some of these people writing this seem bitter. Surely there some positive to write as well? I read some stuff about mold and roaches, I’ve never seen any of that in my apartment in 2 years living here. These apartments are pretty new. I assume these are isolated incidents.OVERALL, good outweighs the bad by far. I would say 4 1/2 stars for this place.
Ok so this place:Very pretty up front. BUT all of the interior design is of cheap quality. So IKEA cabinets that scratch super easily and peel at the bottom. Floors are laminate wood, like I said, pretty at first, but they get dirty super easily. If you step outside of your apartment and then walk inside you can see marks from your shoes instantly.BUT I got over all that. I was a little annoyed that I was paying a discounted rate of $1724 + utilities each month, and felt like the design of the place was not worth the $1724. Oh well, I got over it.We signed a lease in July and by the time January had come around, we had two garbage fines. Granted, the valet trash policy was in our lease, but who ever actually looks in their lease?! We had two bags in our bin a couple times and were fined $25 a bag each time. Of course, we were royally screwed for Gasparilla, when everyone in the building was in a drunken stupor and walking around with open containers. There were stains 10-20 feet away from my front door and yet I was receiving warnings and fines about the stains near my doorway, stating that they needed to be removed and cleaned. WHAT THE HECK?! $25 fine for a stain they couldnt even prove were caused by us. The stains werent caused by us! LIVID was an understatement.THEN, I was literally in my apartment one day in October with a 2 year old roaming around and my lock on my bathroom door got stuck. I tried to stay calm and attempt to use bobby pins to get myself out but when I heard the baby crying in the kitchen I literally kicked the door open. I explained the faulty lock and cheap door to my leasing office and they sent a handyman to fix it. The door was literally ripped. Theres no fixing a ripped door. We need a new one. Bottom line: They got some dude to glue the door pieces back on, but the door and lock was never replaced. I better not get charged for this when I leave. And besides the valet trash bull, we were never notified (as most normal complexes are) that our lease was coming to an end. I gotta give credit to the people who came up with this policy because its a great way to legally take money from people. Apparently because we didnt give 60 days notice of our intent to vacate, we were going to be charged from the 60 days that we did notify them. Still following me? Our lease was up 08/24/15, so we were supposed to give notice by 06/24/15 (I had no idea of any of this). We walked in on 07/08/15 to tell them we werent going to renew and they said we had to pay until 09/08/15 because that would be 60 days from today. !@@#$@#%$%@ WHHHAAATTTTTNot only did they force us to have to pay to live there longer than desired, now we are paying an UPPED rate of $2302/month. BIG difference from $1724 to $2302!! No way can I afford that, thats ridiculous. Guess what? Now Im stuck living there until September 8 instead of the original August 24 AND I have to pay an extra $614 to do so! RIDICULOUS.So, we havent moved out yet but Im afraid to see what damage charges theyre going to slap on me. Unless money isnt an object for you, DO NOT MOVE HERE. Also, lets not forget the lame pool policy that states the pool closes at 8 PM. AND the fire pit has NEVER worked for the 12 months Ive been there too. I love fire pits :-(
Damn...was looking for a new place to rent but the reviews say it all...dont judge a book by its cover here! These are crappy and so is the management!!
Very bad appliance qualitySomething has to stop working every often
Wow
Wonderful and very welcoming
