American landmark is requiring us to accept a service from spectrum that many tenants including myself do not want. I have a high speed service that is less than the $89 they areforcing us to pay. One of the leasing agents stated it is not something we can opt out of. My contract stated we are responsible to obtain the service but now they want to force this upon us. Changes to contracts require signed agreements from all parties so why is this happening. If you want to add this requirement it should be so responsibly and be done with new contracts or renewls not in the mode of an existing contract
They ruined Sentosa Reunion at 400 in Kissimmee. Dont rent any place they manage, they only care about money. Theyll raise your fees, restrict the times you can use the ammenities you pay for, switch the utilities companies to charge you more, communicate poorly or just dont communicate. This is the worst experience I had with a apt management company and crew.
If you like your landlord/property management company to violate your lease contract, American Landmark is for you! American Landmark owns the apartments I rent at, and theyre trying to force all tenants to pay them $89/month directly for WiFi and cable (out of pocket! not included in rent!). However, our lease contracts state we as the tenants are responsible for buying phone, WiFi, and cable - if we so choose - through a third party. Some of my neighbors are in contracts with third parties that they cant get out of. Now American Landmark is going to charge them $89/month on top of what they already pay? How evil.Make sure the apartments you move into are not owned by American Landmark!
DO NOT MOVE HERE!! They will keep your security deposit for absolutely no reason at all. I cleaned my apartment before leaving from top to bottom. I was advised 2 days after moving out that I would not receive my deposit back because they were going to replace the carpet in the unit. The carpet wasn’t dirty it should be properly ( professionally) cleaned which they should do as part of the make ready process when one resident moves out and another resident moves in. It’s unfortunate and very inconsiderate in a pandemic that they are cheating people out of their security deposit.
I used to live at Cielo Boca in Boca Raton 3 weeks ago, at this community poorly managed by this company. Ive been living there since 2017 when Alister used to be the owner. They were kind and took good care of their residents. This new company, American Landmark is all about money. They are currently trying to steal my $500 deposit when they gave me the apartment in the worst conditions you can imagine (with a beehive included INSIDE the apartment) and with the tiles broken and all over the place ( I have pictures and videos of all of this and copies of all the emails I sent them to take care of all this issues). Now they are trying to keep my deposit by saying that the apartment was not clean when we returned it, lol. I will see them in court for sure! Ill make them pay for all the emotional and economic distress that this is causing me and my family. Please STAY AWAY! They will charge you 60$ just to pay rent online. Otherwise, you will have to go to Walmart to make a long line to submit your payment cash! In the XXIst century where everything is done online, this is just a way of making your life harder to rip you off! They also have their apartments full of illegal immigrants that they abuse because those poor people cannot sue them since they dont have a legal status in USA. Well, guess what: it is not my case. Ill make you legally responsible for all what you have signed for, including the return of my $500 plus my lawyer fees and an indemnification for all the time Im investing dealing with your incompetent property manager and her team.

Off to a BAD start.American Landmark purchased a property (10/1/20) - Feather Sound Clearwater. They immediately increased the utility prices. This may be a nominal amount but lets consider the current circumstances.Were in the throes of a PANDEMIC. People are dying. Losing their jobs. Running out of unemployment. Living off savings. Stressed over health, money and a future. One would assume American Landmark knows this and they instantly sought more money. If they are willing to do this during this crisis what will they do in relatively good times?. Im all for making money but the perception, at the very least, money comes first. I would assume they want lots of turnover. What that leads to as far as neighbors, cost, etc who knows. It will cost you to find out. Theres probably better options for you...

American Landmark is an outstanding apartment real-estate/ property management company that truly cares and respects both their employees and residents. I have had the opportunity to intern with them throughout this summer and it has been a terrific learning experience. The management team and employees are very driven about their work and have nothing but positive things to say about working for American Landmark. The office is practically a family environment where everyone cares and looks after one another.

I have really enjoyed my time at an American Landmark Property in Frisco, Tx. The staff is very friendly, and helpful. They work hard to ensure prospects get what they are looking for out of their apartment home. They have a great rapport with the residents. There are some residents who come to the office daily just to chat for a bit.Overall, I love working with this team. I will be sad to leave them when my internship is up.

I was due to move in to one of your properties on Jan 23, 2021, however due to roaches that were coming from every where I decided that day I will move myself or my kids in the apartment. I was told that I would get my refund back within 30 days, however no refund and when you call no one is ever available to answer. I have sent several emails to this company and I have yet to hear back from anyone. I don’t want to file a lawsuit but I need my money for me and kids. The apartment complex is The Landings at Steeplechase.
Ive been an intern at one of their Tampa properties for a little over a month now, and I have already learned so much! Everyone here is eager to answer any questions I have, and they always check up on me to ensure Im comfortable. Everyone Ive talked to, from corporate to the specific properties, have made me feel welcome since day 1! I would definitely recommend a career with American Landmark, as well as living at one of their properties.

Went in to get apartment filled out application was approved received a welcome home letter via email was told would have to pay a nonrefundable fee for the risk they were willing to take. To show good faith instead of waiting to sign lease date I paid $667.00 in advance 2 days later changed my mind called them on Monday and explained had a change of mind and apologized for any inconvenience I may have caused. Was told were keeping 300.00 of your money for the inconvenience mind you I never signed a lease and the money I paid was almost 7 days before lease signing I just caution never pay before due or run the risk of losing your money dealing with American Landmark.

This Company is trash!!!I have been treated with total disrespect from the Property Manager (Kimberly) and her office staff. I reached out to the Regional Manager (Dallas Green) and so far she has not taken action to correct the problems of her staff. When you try to contact (American Landmark Apartments) they never answer their phones, nor reply back to any messages. The owners of this Company as well as the top executives should be ashamed of such a poor customer service. Perhaps they are trash like the Company they are managing!!!
I am a resident in Cielo at Boca Raton, I live in the first floor and for 2 month I have the worst experience getting my apartment flooded every time it rains, and I am desperate since the main office and corporate office doesn’t resolve my problem, I this point I have to bring the housing agency of Boca Raton, this was a great place to live until American Landmark took over ! NEVER rent one their property.

Siena Apartments Plantation FL- People working at this leasing office are complete Racist, they dont even offer you to sit for certain Race. They talk as if tenants are slaves. worst behavior, they are making changes to apartment to sell at higher price. We were subjected to renovation while tenants living, harmful painting with kids at home. they dont care at tenants and their convenience. they did 15 days of renovation in and out of the apartment. We saw several kinds of insects in side apartment. Many incidents of theft on the property. Very Dark at Night.
