VERY DISAPPOINTING DO NOT GO HERE my car have been her for over 4 weeks just t get my front light repaired they make false promises they dont keep there word I had to pay over a month to go back and forth to work this company is a scam they keep your vehicle as long as they want and promises it will be done within a timely manner I have still yet to receive my vehicle ABSOLUTELY AWFUL (THUMBS DOWN)

I went to the Apalachee location and they were very welcoming from the start. Before working on my car the front desks clerks assisted me in how to go about working with my insurance company and filing a claim (this was my first time). I was well informed throughout the process receiving text message alerts. Universal Collision did an awesome job on my quarter panel, trunk, and tail light. Everything looks brand new!

One week before they would give me a estimate when they had estimator available went to University Collision down the street Stan Freeman took 10 minutes for estimate fair price signed agreement and scheduled repairs for next week.

The people at Gerber took great care of my vehicle. I am very please with the services rendered.

Was not forthright on fees. Universal received my vehicle days before I left the United States for 1 month on military orders. The following Friday Universal had sent its estimate to my insurance company, which declared the vehicle a total loss. On the following Monday, Universal informed my wife that it would not repair a car deemed a total loss. Universal never mentioned to her any storage fees for the two weeks it had held the vehicle or for the next two until my scheduled return. On the Monday after my return I offered to pay Universal for its diagnostic and to move the car to another mechanic. However, Universal demanded a $35/day storage fee for the entire period. Storage fees were in Universal’s contract boilerplate. But I find it troubling that Universal charged storage fees for the time prior to informing my wife that it would not make repairs, then did not remind my wife of its intent to charge these fees while I was away, then refused to negotiate with me on the storage fees although I was ready to pay cash for work done and to promptly move the vehicle off their property. Fortunately, my insurance company (USAA) covered these fees.

They did a great job. I was in an accident and my car looks wonderful again. They kept me informed throughout the entire process and the car was ready earlier than the estimated time. No complaints from beginning to end. Definitely would use them again.

I was rear-ended by someone in my Civic Si several months back. I chose Universal as I thought they were a good professional company.First let me say, CJ is mouthy, rude, and very arrogant. Just on that alone I would never use this company again. Everytime I called or spoke to him, even upon picking up the vehicle he was rude and condescending.Now, the back bumper cover they replaced ended up coming loose a couple months later. Not to mention the lights never functioned properly after this. I even mentioned for them to check the lights, etc. I was told by, CJ that they would be fine. That means they were never even looked at. They also didnt put the protective film on the bumper that the insurance sent. CJ handed it to me and said I could do it if I wanted. 👀I ended up replacing the vehicle, it was an electrical nightmare and I wouldnt take a gocart to this shop.CJ will be the demise of this business.

I had a factory paint defect and my paint was peeling off of my Honda. The Honda corporation offered a warranty extension to have the effected areas repainted at no expense to me. Proctor Honda sent me to Universal Collision to have the work done. The folks at Universal were friendly, proffesional, effecient, timely, and in the end, my car came out looking better than new! They even did a super great interior cleaning! All at no cost to me. Very pleased with my experience at Universal, and a big shout out to Proctor Honda for honoring the deal and taking care of the bill! A great partnership!

After experience with another body shop in town also listed on State-farms list of preferred providers, this was a night and day experience and I will only Use them for any future needs. The level of explanation of work needed was thorough, they actually provide updates every 48 hours they have your car versus you having to call every week wondering the status. Icing on the cake they gave my car a new car detail when it was ready for pick up. Kudos to CJ and the team!

Hi, Im Richard,Oh my God. When I tell people that I am a child of God theyre never believed me. There is a miracle in this world that got my name on it, and I receive it today. Last night coming from a study at FAMU library I rep up my whole front BUMPER Honda Accord 2009, and this morning sitting in class Im thinking how am I going to fix that bumper I know that alone would cost me over $ 600.00. After class over I was on google searching for a place to bring the car and I saw Universal Collision and I immediately drove there, upon arriving a gentleman send me inside the office to speak to Mr. Tim I explain to him what happen he told me if I want to put the same BUMPER back up again and I wasnt too sure if I want to do that and he says if youre allowing me to do it I will do it. I said Okay. He and his staff immediately started fixing the BUMPER I was shocked and amazing he says I dont have to pay anything, and when he says that tears start to come out on my eyes seeing that God will send his angel to help his child out unexpectedly. I am still shocked, well Mr. Tim I am so thankful for your help and support, I will keep you and your staff in my prayer every day and I will forever grateful for your support thank you so very much.

With my Ford F150 being in a traffic accident, my insurance company said I could go with whomever I wanted to do the repairs, or go with one of their preferred repair facilities. As a result, I chose Universal Collision on Apalachee Parkway, and I am so glad that I did. I expected them to do a good job on the repairs, which they did, but what I didn’t expect was my truck to be returned to me with the entire exterior being washed, and the interior cleaned. Nobody wants to get into a car accident, however minor (in my case). However, Universal Collision Center made my repair experience extremely easy and pleasant. I just picked my car up yesterday and Im waiting for the Florida sunshine to return so I can get a better look at the work that was done. From what I can see under the uncharacteristically gloomy skies, things look showroom new.

The staff at Universal Collision were jammed as a result of vehicles damaged by Hurricane Michael and the holiday season. But, to a man and woman, they were friendly and efficient, never losing their cool. Although it took nearly a month to get my car back, it was returned in super shape and it appeared the Universal folks had vacuumed and washed the car.

Outstanding Customer Care - Above and BeyondWe encountered a paint adhesion issue (known factory problem) with our Odyssey recently. We took it up with the local Honda dealership, who referred to us to Universal Collision and one other shop to obtain quotes.Universal explained in detail the process needed to CORRECTLY repair the paint issue, and quoted us a price reflecting the extra labor and time required. I left feeling very confident and comfortable with their shop and the information given.The second body shop stated that they were going to repair using a different method that the owner of Universal had expressly explained would not be a proper long-term fix. Their quote was much lower than Universals due to the shortcuts. I left feeling confused and uneasy...Honda opted to cover only the second (cheaper) quote. I felt very uncomfortable with the second body shop and expressed those feelings to Honda management. When I inquired about getting Universal Collision to do the work anyway, they said that they would cover only the amount quoted by the second company. We would need to pay the remainder out of pocket.When I explained Hondas decision to the owner of Universal Collision (Frank), he was so determined to perform the repair correctly that he offered to do the work for the amount Honda would cover and eat the balance. So Universal voluntarily took a financial loss to care for me the customer! WOW!!Frank showed me that Universal is committed to doing the right thing to take care of their customers. The idea of a partial (short-term) repair was not even an option for them. Im VERY impressed with the level of customer service and care I received! Would definitely use them again and recommend.

Although my damage was relatively minor, Emory Davis and Chris were able to get my repairs done quickly and professionally. I got in a wreck in my jeep. i was quoted one month to fix the damage. Every week more time was added on, ended up taking 4 months. the boy who was in charge of my case CJ didnt know a thing about what he was doing. this shop is an absolute joke. Freaking S*** show

I had an older model Buick towed here after my son hit a deer. Surprisingly little damage to the car (they dont make them like they used to), but it shattered the windshield and dented the roof where it met the windshield enough that another windshield could not be installed by Safelite until a repair to the roof was made. I had kept the car under a tarp over the weeks it took for Safelite to come, then for insurance to arrange to have it towed. I offered to send the tarp with the car when it was towed, but was assured it would be kept inside to keep it out of the elements. It was towed on a Wednesday before a storm that weekend that dropped 8 inches of rain. I was shocked to pass by the place on the weekend to see it sitting out in the rain with no cover. I suspected the insurance company would total the car, but I had intended to do an owner salvage, have the repairs done with what they gave me for it, and have it retitled as a rebuilt salvage. I had already invested a lot of time and effort in tuning up the car, replacing the ignition control module and coils, cam shaft and crank shaft sensors because they just dont make cars like this anymore. When I called on Monday and asked why it had been left out in the rain, I was told it was an oversight, but it had been cleaned up first thing that morning. As if you could ever get that much water out of a car that quickly! When I went by later that day to get the tag, the windows were covered in condensation due to the amount of water still inside, and there was water standing in the ashtray and floor. I knew there was no way I could trust that everything behind the dash would ever work right, and that I would not be able to salvage this car. It is a shame since it only has 15,000 more miles than my 2006 (its an 89) and was kept garaged by an elderly lady, so was in fantastic shape inside and structurally. The part of their estimate dealing with the roof repair, by the way, was twice as high as the estimate I had gotten from another Universal Collision, but unfortunately that one wasnt contracted with my insurance company. I wouldnt trust them if I were you, and anyone who wouldnt realize a vehicle with a hole in the windshield shouldnt be left out in the rain has no business being in this type of business.

CJ made an appointment for me a month and a half out, which I was fine with. But now he keeps giving me different pick up dates and wont return my calls and when I finally got him on the phone he was BEYOND rude to me. Told me I shouldnt have dropped my car off if I wasnt okay with waiting. Hes had it almost half a month. Absolutely unacceptable behavior.

My 2018 Nissan Rogue was repaired at the shop; it went back three times for mistakes. Eventually I had to trade it because the rear gate had large gape; the manager said it was within specs. I compared it to new cars at Kraft which agreed. I wound up trading the rogue with only 17,000 miles. I lost a lot of money. I would not recommend. They even had the customer service rep called me about their job and they still had the car. Very unorganized. Think twice before you use them.

THIS is an example of what Good Customer Service used to be, and should be everywhere today! I was rear ended and dropped my car off at Universal Collision for a week long repair after being rear ended. I drive Uber on weekends and the FSU/Miami game was going to be a BIG $ weekend, but my car was not going to be ready until the following Monday. I called U.C. and spoke to CJ, told him about my dilemma, and he got my car ready by late Friday afternoon!... I was SOOO appreciative! They texted me daily about my cars progress, never leaving me wondering what was going on. Everyone there actually treats you like a valued customer, and when my car was finished, I could not tell there was ever an accident! Then, to top their high grade customer service off, they called me a few days after (Monday) to make sure I was happy with the repairs.... impressive! I HIGHLY recommend this Auto body shop to anyone who wants their car repair efficiently, properly, and professionally!....
