Very disappointed in this salon. A wedding party came in and I was rushed through my $80.00 service. Two days and my nails are chipping due to them not putting on top coats and running through it quickly.I am new to the area and will not be coming back in.

I just went to La Bella Nail Spa today last minute as the other nail place I had a reservation for 5 for cancelled 2hrs before all the appointments. La Bella was able to accommodate all the individuals in our party last minute. Besides just nails the Technician was able to do my Eyebrow & Lip Waxing. Everyone who worked there was very kind and attentive, all in my party was pleased with the services rendered and we all plan to go back soon!!!

This was my very first time visiting this salon. I did show up roughly an hour before they close and they still took me as a client for a full acrylic set. They were extremely nice and stayed open extremely long past the closing time. my nails came out extremely beautiful and Ive had a lot of compliments on them. Very good quality work. However the price is outrageous in a way. For these nails (pictured below) I paid $80!! 😬. They have an upstairs VIP lounge that does not cost any different. All you got to do is request it. If its available its open for use. I will return, but next time, I will go a lot earlier LOL and I will know what to ask for when I get my nails done next 🥰

Very nice place. But, the service that I paid for WAS NOT worth the VERY expensive price. It felt like they were rushing and trying to do a quick turn over. Not personable at all.

My partner and I were going to our first fashion show and she insisted I get a pedi cure and mani cure. This was my first.This place was very professional and friendly. They have a selection of treatments and were careful and thorough.Despite being a guy in a place with mostly ladies they put me at ease and carefully directed me on what to do.I have to admit that sitting in a massage chair while my feel were in the hot water was relaxing. After ward my toes and nails looked good. As Forest Gump would say ...one less thing to worry about.My partners nails looks really nice with a bright red. She was very happy.The price was moderate to high but they delivered the quality and attention that matched it.

I have enjoyed my appointments here. I especially like the work of Tina for dip nails and Mai for pedicure. Tina was very helpful in finding the colors I wanted. Both were skilled at their work. I went in for a pedicure, I always get the top tier one because I dont get pedis too often. It was a reasonable price, $55. I upgraded to gel polish which was another $20 or so. I showed them an inspiration picture, and they nailed it! I really loved the outcome and while it was a little pricey, I think you get what you pay for. Ill definitely be back!

Update: I will give them an extra star, the service was a lot better and I received what I asked for. The work lasted a really long time and the price was cheaper than the last time. The lady who did my nails was awesome! It took a bit, but it was done right so that is all right. Once, they are able to open back up I will be back againMy first time here, and I loved the vibes. I was greeted and seated right away, because I had made an appointment. I had the dipping powder done with chrome, it was pretty pricey compared to what Im use to paying. I was quoted $60 by Kayla, who did my nails, and then as I went to pay the owner upcharged me $5 because of the length, which was odd because I discussed everything with Kayla prior to her quoting me, and that was never mentioned. I didnt make a fuss about it though I paid it, and left a tip. However, I will give them another try since they did a really good job. Next time I will be more direct in how I want my nails though I prefer all my nails to be dipped in the color of my choosing and then applying the chrome, the process would have been faster and my nail bed color would not have shined through, since I was there until closing I let it be. Although they still turned out really nice, Im giving them a 3 because it was not exactly what I wanted, also for the price and upcharge. Im going to see how long they last, I usually can 2-4 weeks without getting them done and not having them break. I will give them another try though.

Horrible. I came in with the hopes that I could get a set of nails done I found on pinterest. I had my heart set on this design for some time. The reviews online e where so convincing of the place. The atmosphere, the services etc. I received an 80$ Gift card for Mothers day to LA Bella nails sooo I was excited. Lets make a long story short.... I was told that they couldnt paint design that was a simple red rose with black tips because it would take too long and to pick something else. So I did. I showed them a picture of a simple Black and white tip and I got quoted 85$!!!! By that time 3 of the woman had changed on Me. I ended up with apple red thick Lumpy uneven spotty painted nails that cost me a total of 61$. I almost cried. The next day I went to my salon I visited once before and they resurfaced and shaped the nails and painted them with a new design for 30$ Ill never go back. Yes I left LA Bella almost I. Tears but stayed silent the whole time Ive never been so embarrassed. What a wasted gift.

First time walk in customer.Great: I was immediately seated and a technician assigned. The price was reasonable.Cons: The technician was rushing and wasnt even looking sometimes. I was cut pretty bad and I will have to bangage my finger for several days. The polish was applied with a substantial gap and wavy, uneven shapes at the cuticles.Edit: It did not last past a week in both appearance and peeling up at the cuticle edges on its own.

They were great and accomidating. I had a great experience and my nails, toes, and eyebrows were on point.

First off the salon itself is very nice & clean. I came in for a regular manicure here as a walkin (1st time). The manicure service was a little rough & seemed kind of rushed (the filing was a little sloppy, cuticle trimming kind of painful, & polish job was soso). The hand massage was nice though but I feel the attention to detail was missing. Idk if I would go again...undecided.

I have diabetes and neuropathy in my feet. Went here to get a pedicure and they (Hoa) did an amazing job. For the first time in awhile I had no numbness in my feet that night. Will definitely be going back!

The following is an example of how stereotypes can lead one down a dark path. I have utilized the services here before. I called and made an appointment the previous day and arrived about five minutes early. Within a few minutes of checking in, I was directed by the guy (desk) to the “seat next to the window” with partially closed blinds in an annex section of the establishment. The ladies who actually helped me were knowledgeable and efficient in performing their assignments. Everything was going good until I realized that everyone who came in after me, huge rush during the noon hour, was shown to the main (much larger) section in the back area. I was the only customer in this smaller area during my entire visit. When I went to pay my bill, I could not help but notice that all the faces in the back were white. I told the man at the desk that I didn’t appreciate being put in a corner (isolated like some undesirable) not to be seen by others. His “deer caught in the headlights” expression and his seemingly loss for words confirmed my worst fears. It is still shocking to me a day after this happened that such subtle yet blatant discrimination can take place. Perhaps the owners are not aware that “separate but equal” is not the law of this land. I did not deserve such treatment. I am sad to say that this episode took something I was really looking forward to and turned it into a horrible experience. You lost my tip, future business, and any confidence in your ability to do the right thing. Black people, males in particular, are not second class citizens or animals. Just treat people fairly!PS While I appreciate your timely response to my initial review, it is extremely difficult to find any logic in your explanation. Given that customers were already in your establishment when I arrived and all were seated in the back, I find it incredulous to believe that I just happen to be the sole customer “assigned” to this isolated area. It is that difficult for you to imagine how being isolated from every other patron can be emotionally distressing? No one, out of everyone who came in during the hour or so I was there, was placed upfront near me. They were not all part of a group as they did not all arrive together. Perception is reality and my review of this experience still leads to a negative conclusion. Your staff executed a decision to isolate me from everyone else and assign everyone else to another area away from me. I had no control over that decision. I am the aggrieved party here. I was the complying customer.

So this place I give 3 stars to because the prices I was being charged and when getting a pedicure or anything it’s a law that nail salons use different tools like files nail clippers ect of course drills and stuff just have to be sanitized before they use it on you! But when getting a pedicure I can say they didn’t and it wasn’t the best.. when getting a manicure the lady did use clean tools on me I watched her open the package

I have gone here for so long. I get dip powder every 2 weeks. I decided to try shellac to give my nails a small break and manicure in between powder. They don’t manicure your nails for some reason when you do dip powder and my cuticles we’re getting out of hand. My polish literally didn’t even last through that day! When I called back they said they were sorry and that it should last 2 weeks, which is what she said when I got them done also. They said they could give me a discount on dip powder or would redo the shellac (to last one more day I’m sure) I was disappointed because I had spent $50 + $15 tip and they wouldn’t fix the problem so she said she’d have a manager call me later that day. It’s been over 2 weeks now and I haven’t received so much as a phone call, let alone a comparable solution. I’m so sad to say I’ll never give this place my money again. I love that it’s right in my neighborhood and I can walk there but it’s a total waste of money. Not worth it at all if at the end of the day all they care about is getting your money and not about doing a decent job. Take your money elsewhere, I’ll update if they ever actually call me.

Lean is absolutely amazing. I immediately broke down at the chair and told her about my last nail experience. She reassured me, told me I should be happy and she was going to make my nails beautiful. She was so right!!! They looked so good I cried. She made them short like I wanted, plus her and another lady got me the perfect color I wanted. They look beautiful. Lean was fast and efficient while also being kind and gentle on my hands. The full set only took an hour.I work retail and Im very hard on my nails, so they were pretty torn up. I always see the women coming in with pretty nails and always hid my hands when we started talking about them because I was so embarrassed about my nails. Now I can show mine off too!!! My first time here today and so impressed with everything! Level of service, timeliness, cleanliness, friendliness, color selection, craft...top notch. This is absolutely the best nail salon I’ve frequented and is my new go-to. They have a digital check in system at the front reception area that keeps track of your visits for special discounts after 10 visits which is very convenient - no lost punch cards or employees that don’t remind you when paying, like other places. They have a color match bottle for all gels when you bundle and get a pedicure with your manicure; that extra investment is so appreciated. My nail tech, Kayla, was gentle and efficient. So glad my friend recommended this great salon!

Nice place. Everyone was pretty friendly. The woman that did my daughters nails however..didnt seem to be enthused about having to be there nor being the one doing my daughters nails for her wedding that was in two days! She even messed up on them. For charging so much..maybe should get a nail tech that likes her job to do bridal nails.

First off, Id like to say this place is very clean, new and updated. I was very excited to try this place, and I brought my best friend and my husband and we all got 3 pedicures. My pedicure took the longest, and not in a good way. It seemed my technician was in training, and Im actually extremely upset that someone possibly in training is doing pedicures at full price. Ill start off with when he was rubbing my legs with oil, my feet would accidentally touch his arm and he would make this uncomfortable face as if I were dirty, and that me extremely uncomfortable. I was also disappointed with the scrub because I thought it was supposed to come with a message or something, but he was lightly rubbing my feet and legs, which also made me feel as if he didnt care or didnt want to touch me. He then began painting, and it took him a long time to do this. So long, that a seasoned technician came in to finish the polish.Now, same day, my polish has chipped and my toes look so dry because he poured alcohol over all of my toes instead of drying the nail bed with a cotton bed. He also didnt ask me what shape Id like, and I hate rounded nails, but theyre rounded and look chubby instead of square.I really had high hopes but you cant charge $38 dollar prices for a nonchalant nail job.

Best nail salon in Tacoma, Ive been coming here for about five years and I consistently get fantastic service. I love all the extra things they do to commit to cleanliness like replacing the liners in the pedicure baths rather than just rinsing it clean, you know youre getting an actual sanitary setup this way. Sometimes I have to wait, but thats just part of this business, theyre running through so many processes to accommodate so many people, theyre always friendly about the wait and offer me a bottled water as I wait. Cant wait for their new location in Proctor!

Went in for a Brazilian, lip, brow, and chin wax today. Had never been in before but I live nearby and needed a new waxing spot so I gave it a try today.I had a great experience. I was able to get an appointment when I called an hour ahead on a Thursday. The place is lovely, looks clean, and the staff I interacted with were all wonderful. Love that they have a loyalty program.My wax was very no nonsense - no candles or incense, one place I went to gave me a stress toy to squeeze during the wax - you wont find that here but I didnt miss it. My tech was friendly, sweet, polite, professional, and efficient - from check in to check out I was there for 45 minutes. Looking forward to going back for maintenance and to try out the nail services!

The massage seemed longer than the usual massage given with pedis but youll hear NO complaint from me! My legs feel so good with the increased circulation. The polish was carefully done with detail given to each nail.Oh, and did I mention the massage chairs? Best Ive ever sat in. Hard to know which to enjoy most when theyre both going on at the same time!Definitely will come here again! And Ill ask for !*******

Worst pedicure ever. Only 20 min. Of hands on time. Minimal massage/scrub. Still had dry peeling skin left on my feet. Polish is a nice color and hasn’t chipped after a week so that warrants a single star.

Im so disappointed ...I really wanted to keep giving this salon a chance, but time after time Im let down. Im sure its who you get but even if you dont speak English a smile and acknowledgment goes a long ways in customer service. They get you right in and out but the care and kindness is just not there. Then they tried charging me $10 more for my services, I checked online to verify. I need to find a better salon that shows kindness and actually acknowledges you as a human and not a number.But if you are a regular they treat them like royalty, so its funny to me the reviews. I have many patients that go elsewhere so Im sure Ill find a great salon in Tacoma! I do know the owners give back a lot to the community and thats awesome, but they should have some customer service training. Smile, its a simple gesture yet goes a long ways.

I got the classic manicure and pedicure. Total time took about 30 minutes and it cost $45 + $10 tip. The ladies were very nice and the salon was very clean.I wash my hands A LOT and my nails grow super fast so the paint lasted about 5 days on my nails (regular OPI polish) which is typical. And the polish on my feet are still pretty good a week later!Overall would come back again when I’m in Tacoma! Way better than most of the salons I’ve been to in Bellevue. Will have to try their dip and gel next time!

My friend and I walked in for the peppermint oil pedicure earlier today and were not disappointed! My heels are soft, shellac polish job is clean, and the nail shape is square and consistent! Worth the money!

I always go to Kayla for my nails! Her attention to detail is impeccable and all the staff here is very welcoming. I recommend getting SNS dip because it lasts long and is healthier than acrylic. They have a huge selection of SNS!

My friend and I didnt have appointments but only had to wait about 10 minutes to get our spa pedicures. Technicians were friendly and did a great job. The salon was clean, tools were opened from sterile packages, and basin wiped down after use. for a spa pedicure with regular polish. Iwould definitely return!

I got a full set manicure and pedicure. After seeing pictures and reading reviews I was really hoping for something beautiful. Not even an hour after leaving my pedicure polish way ruined. I made sure to wear sandals but almost all my toes were ruined. Smudges and chipped so quickly. My manicure was VERY rushed and left unsatisfactory. For being so expensive I was hoping for a very clean finish. My nails were uneven and left very thick. Felt like they just wanted me in and out as quickly as possible. Left feeling very disappointed in everything.

Absolutely the worst nail experience ever! My dip nails that I paid $60 for are not even, nor smooth, misshapen, and embarrassing. My pedicure was terrible. I really felt like I had made a mistake and walked into a cosmetology school. I seriously do not understand how this establishment got the best anything. Must be a huge mistake. I wont be back!

Can I just say... this salon is by far the best Ive been to in Tacoma. Ive been to others and it was okay. Cici did my pedicure. She friendly and was very sweet. The only one who can take my ingrown out without making me cry. The massage was very good. The atmosphere of the salon was very comforting and beautiful. I dont think they knew I was Vietnamese. Even though they did spoke Vietnamese amongst each other they never spoke ill.We got there an hr before closing. Didnt rush us into picking a polish or type of pedicure. Offered us a drink and had a good conversation. Pedicure was not rushed and you can tell he cared. As a nail tech myself, I highly recommend this salon. Well definitely come back again. I will not go anywhere else anymore. They listen to me and make sure I like what Im getting. Ive let the lady I regularly have do my nails know that the dremel scares me and she takes extra care to make me feel comfortable. They all have a great sense of humor. My friend started coming with me and decided to keep going there because a lady she knew from a previous place that she knows will do her nails right works there. Me, my friend, and my mother are happy with their work.

Im not sure why this place has bad reviews. I got a pedicure here and it was the best one Ive gotten since living in Washington. I asked for a snowflake design and the nail tech really took her time. Also, I got an eyebrow wax that looked nice and didnt hurt too badly either.

I wonder why this place has such good reviews, and has actually won best of western Washington. I came today (05-20-18) to get SNS dipping powder manicures. Do yourself a favor and spend your $45 somewhere else. Almost every single finger has cuts, cuticles and product all over them.To the owner:I can email you pictures directly to your inbox. My fingers are red, irritated and swollen due to all cuts that I’ve got.

I’ve gotten my nails done here before & they were so nice. went back for a pedicure and not impressed. 3 of my toes were finished looking like they had been knicked. also, i just got back from watershed so my feet were in dyer need of a scrub and i still have the marks of where my feet we’re peeling on the bottom.

My friend and I went here to get our nails done together. Her gel manicure was sub par and messy for being done by a professional. The shape of my acrylic nails is poor, and they feel thicker than I ever have had them. We both left pretty disappointed especially because my friend has been her multiple times with better service. Too bad.
