Nice location. Big and spacious. Stopped in on a business trip and met my expectations.

I stopped by as a guest. Facility was friendly and welcoming. The staff members were very kind and knowledgeable. The equipment was well maintained, clean, and well spaced out.

This is a great planet fitness location. Lots of new equipment and a super nice locker room.

Our realtors at procopio real estate love to hit up planet fitness in the morning before coming to the office. The gym is clean and the staff is friendly. It is located in Geddes right near our office in Solvay so it is very convenient. The price is the best around. All of our real estate agents highly reccomend planet fitness to anyone in CNY!

I’ve been a member there since 2008 nothing is the same being over charged now not once or twice now I’ve caught this more than a few times I’ve emailed and called to get answers and no response to why I’m being charged for something I didn’t agree to, staff there are not professional or friendly at all, who ever the manger I use to know wouldn’t allow this to happen and now it’s completely different and I’ve had enough !

One of my new favorite places to go...I will be returning an unlimited number of times in the near future.

The same week you reopened after quarantine there are several members walking around with no mask on while the staff are hanging out at the front desk on their cell phones! When I called to speak with a manager about this I was told he wasnt available and that I should let the front desk know when this happens again! Im sorry but it is not my job to alert your paid staff about this! I have also sent several emails about my concerns one month later no one has contacted me! Cancelling my membership, do better planet fitness!

My favorite PF in the area. Staff is awesome and the layout is very open providing lots of space. My only negative is that some areas for weight lifting aren’t lit well enough.

Its a good gym but lately i go 5 times a week and Ive seen several members leave there gym machine,, barbell,,, FLOOR MATS THERE TREADMILL DONT SANTIZE THEM JUST WALK AWAY FROM IT AND PROCEED. TO ANOTHER GYM EQUIPMENT AND DO THE SAME VERY DIGUSTING I TOLD THE STAFF ABOUT SO WILL SEE

I go to this gym pretty much every day. The staff is outstanding and super friendly. For awhile there was a problem with the women’s bathroom but it was finally resolved. They have a good number of cardio machines along with the weight machines. if you are new to a gym, I would definitely advise you to ask a staff member to show u around and they will advise you about all the equipment as well as some gym etiquette that makes life a little easier on all the other gym members!

Great location with adequate space and a ton of machines. The fitness equipment at this location is in very good condition. This type of gym is great for beginners up to intermediate. Downside is no bar free weights. This makes this type of gym makes it very limiting for novice to expert fitness levels to achieve a maximum efficiency and effort. This is my home gym and would recommend it. Parking can be difficult at peak hours as is the case at all gyms at peak. This location is 24hrs.

6:30a on a Wednesday 1/13/21, doors are locked, Lights are on, TVs on... no signs stating why, no one answering the phone...Aspen it is...

This is a nice gym to tighten up or chisel. Not for bulking. No free weight over 75 lbs. no free weight Bench Press. And before I forget Absolutely NO Deadlifts................. Seriously they will ask you to leave

Planet fitness in camillus is a great place to work out. If every employee was as nice as Jarryd S. And Gabriel I. I would never leave.

Good place to get some exercise,burn time. Everyone minds there bissuness. Equipment is modern and updated and they even sell drinks like Gatorade and protein milk which is good. They also give away candy when you leave (tootsie rolls or purple chewy candy).

Friendly Staff. Great Atmosphere. Can get a superior work out day and night. Hydro Massage Beds are amazing as are the regular massage chairs they have which are free provided you have the planet fitness black card. Been going to this location for a few years and I drive from Liverpool now they have made such an impression.

Great gym at a minimal price per month. Its what you make of it. I recommend a membership

I go 4 days out of a week. Im probably the Strongest in the Gym. I just wish thay had more whights!!! 80 to 100 Dumbbells would be nice!!!

Used to love this place and then all of the sudden new management took over and the place is disgusting. It used to be run by mostly girls and I think only a few guys who were very friendly. Now it seems very hectic and unorganized. Please pay more attention to your cleanliness it is very obvious of the poor changes. Also please stop trying to sell people tanning lotion. Nobody cares. The lotion you are selling is on amazon for legitimately half the price and your trying to sell it for $70-$80. I don’t even know how that’s allowed. It is planet fitness, not a tanning salon. Your employees are also not on the same page with all the rules, some are relaxed and some take ten more minutes out of my day to explain to me pointless things I already know about tanning and eyewear and all your new rules. Speed it up. Thanks.

The staff is so friendly and helpful! Great place for those new to working out in a gym, but also for those that are more advanced.

I’m so upset. I loved working out here but I can’t help but think I got lied to. The person at the front desk told me if I cancelled my membership before the first month I wouldn’t be charged the annual $39 fee. Well here I am two months later being charged. I cancelled my membership and told the women at the front desk that I wanted it cancelled but she just froze my account and that’s the reason why I got charged. This is not my fault and now I am being told that even though this was the women’s fault, there’s nothing they can do about it and cannot refund me. I am a college student and can not afford $39 plus the $10 I already paid for the month, for just working out for ONE MONTH.

Great equipment and great staff. Never have an issue when coming here and there are several parking spots. Have all the latest equipment as well as several tn bed, massage chairs and hydromassage table

Big fan of Planet Fitness. Relatively new black card member, just started going last week, but the gyms are huge, lots of machines, very clean, everything appears to be in a good state of repair, the facilities are great, and access to the massage chairs and HydroMassage beds is fantastic, although I wish theyd let us have more than 10 minutes at a time in the HydroMassage.

I have grave concerns for this planet— there seem to be no seasons & no natural weather patterns or day/night cycles, almost as if all planetary motion had stopped. Geologically speaking, the surface of the planet seems to be made of a hard rubber-like substance, unsuitable for agriculture— the inhabitants have been forced to subsit on a diet consisting entirely of protein powders. Also, an anthropological note: the indiginous people of this planet were very unfit, contrary to the propaganda put forth by their planetary advertising agency. The trustworthiness of their government is highly suspect, and I would personally scrutinize all financial transactions & diplomatic treaties for loopholes & skullduggery.

Love this place. I love the staff. My best friend and I go here to work out and get the hydro massage.

Great people, great quality gym

Convenient location, the workers tend to be very nice. Some of the machines squeak and annoy the hell out of me. Ive asked if they could wd-40 them and theyve been out so. Ive asked for the worker to turn the music down at night and they tend to. I wish hey took care of the machines better/oiled them because high pitched noises that play over earbuds is painful.

For so many reasons-if you are serious about long term physical health you should find another gym. There is a reason the price is so low remember that. In addition this location has an unusually high number of unsavory guests that stay quite a long time. There are thefts. We have had our lock cut off the locker by a staff memeber and items stolen with no explanation. Police were called on that occasion. There have been brawls in the parking lot with police intervention, some guy sells steroids and acts like an aggressive fool and apparently no one notices, also i found a huge bag of what turned out to be heroin next to an ab machine a year ago and informed management. I could go on. I liked the planet fitness where I moved from a lot, so I cut this one so much slack. Today it was me having to call the phone to finally get the worker out of the back office so i could use a black card service. That was the straw that broke the back. Check out apex athletic at destiny. Or aspen. Or the YMCA

Came in to cancel my membership in june 3019 after over a year of having it....now in mid december i get over drafted 3 times for 22.00. Been calling and getting the run around on my refund of $66. Would love to speak to someone higher up than manager nicole who is purposely ignoring meUPDATE:JANUARY 10TH i spoke to someone who said my refund would be back in my account in 7 to 10 business days as he sent something over to someone.....still no refund. And still overdraft fees. Thanks planet fitness. I will be SURE to never come there again and make others around me aware as well. Way to go customer service. NOT

Tried to cancel yearly membership, that auto renewed. Told had to go to different location to cancel. That location wont help either. Once they hook you on membership, they dont ever let you cancel it. Going thru my bank to deny payment at this point.

A good gym for the price. It has recently been remodeled & locker room is very nice. Equipment is newer & in good condition. There are no classes here. Parking lot gets crowded at peak hours.

When its hot outside it is hot inside, and God forbid its hot a humid out you go in and it is like working out in a sauna. I am a member mainly to have a place to jog when the weather outside is awful and when its just as hot inside as it is outside whats the point of paying for a membership

Great starter gym. Super convienent that theyre always open. Free tanning. Massage chair or hydro bed. Great weight section compared to others Ive been to.

Just another Planet Fitness. Pretty quite and not too many people attend. Wish they had towel service though.

No customer service. They stopped 24/7 access, which is the reason I joined in the first place. I cant get there until 11 at night because of my jobs. Now I cant even get in there to cancel the membership I cant use because they wont accept a cancellation any other way. They also appear too discriminate against anyones with tattoos. Thats sad in this day and age.

I am a truck driver and have attended many People Fitness around the country. This is a nice place, plenty of parking, nice people. The only problem I see its with the bathrooms. I dont see any difference between this Planet Fitness and a truck stop. I came here two days in a row and the bathrooms are in the same filthy condition. I see the staff people vacuuming the main floor but the bathrooms are being neglected.

Absolute Garbage. Went into this location in March of 2018, upgraded to a black card, so I could workout down at my dads house for the six weeks I was there, specifically asked the guy that it would be the remainder of my current contract(3-4months left), he said yes. Next thing I know Im still getting charged in July of 2018, I go in, Im now in a one year contract until March of 2019. March of 2019, I try to cancel Sorry we cant do that it requires a manger 3-4 times later. I finally cancel it, i call corporate and they say i was never on a contract, and I shouldve been able to cancel in July of 2018. The Regional Manger pretty much told me to piss off, and that they cant do any sort of refund because I never made a Cancellation Document. Which no I didnt because every single time the employee would say they cant because there isnt a manager and I would leave. Anyways Im now out close to 250 dollars to this gym that I never used....

Save the pizza and bagel money and do something about the HVAC. It is absolutely miserable working out in this gym right now. The air doesn’t flow AT ALL. I’m sweating immediately when I walk in and it’s not a good, I’m working hard sweat. It’s a sticky, muggy, gross, I’m going to be sick sweat. The tiny fans in the corners are not doing anything. It’s 90 and miserably humid outside and still feels better outside than it does inside this gym.

Its the walmart of gyms... the bathroom is always disgusting

The equipment and staff are great. It is entirely to hot in there however, complete lack of climate control. You walk in and the heat hits you in the face like opening an oven door. Ridiculous

I love this gym its been my go to for about two years now but recently ive seen a slip in overall cleanliness and a change in equipment lacking essentials like a decline bench!!!! If your going to make changes make the right ones!!

I have been a black card member here for about seven years and due to that, I have seen a variety of staff turnover over the years. The staff overhaul made within the last couple of months has been a big improvement. It is my understanding there was a transition period in which the old manager, Jeff, who was absolutely phenomenal in keeping the Camillus location super clean and updated, left to take a position overseeing all the CNY area locations.After Jeff left overseeing the Camillus location daily, the manager hired directly after him simply did not keep things together and lacked the professional demeanor you would expect from someone in that position. Personally, I never said anything about it and have always been one to come in, work out, and keep to myself, but it was getting especially bad in the lack of cleanliness. He must have been either replaced or left fairly quickly and the current manager and staff in place finally has this location running back to the quality level Jeff had established for the past few years. It was refreshing to see the lack in quality was noticed, addressed, and necessary changes were made by upper management in a proactive approach.The only major issue I currently have is I wish the air circulation/AC was better. I understand it is a rather large location, but it seemed much cooler and comfortable in the building last year during this time of the season. Additionally, I recently visited the Auburn NY location due to being out of the area for the day and instantly noticed the AC quality there is simply amazing compared to the Camillus one. It makes for a much more pleasant workout, especially when it comes to using cardio machines for extended periods of time. Additionally, there have been some times where the men’s lockeroom toilets have been out of order, but it appears there is an ongoing effort to fix some plumbing issues and what not. I’m happy with the location, but a cooler AC/temperature during these summer months would be incredibly nice to have again.

This place has officially gotten to a point where it is a complete joke when it comes to the air conditioning (or complete lack of) in the workout areas. Not going to post my real name for obvious reasons, but at least two other Planet Fitness locations within about 20 miles of Camillus are properly cooled, yet this place has had nothing but warm, humid, and disgusting conditions for what has turned into one of the warmer summer’s recently.Personally, I would have taken properly working air conditing and cooling this year over the new cardio equipment so I can finish a workout without stopping early or nearly dying by the time it’s complete. When you can go to another location, do the same workout and not come close to wanting to pass out, you know there’s a serious problem with your home PF.I guess my options now are to simply transfer home locations and drive an extra 15-20 minutes to and from each day or find a new gym all together. When you tell members something (in this case, the AC) is being worked on for nearly six months with no improvement, you lose credibility. Shame how far down the drain this Camillus location has gone in the last year. Apparently the priority has gone from creating a good workout environment to selling merchandise and protein bars by the looks of things here lately.

The employees have changed over the last 2 years, and just recently they renovated the interior of the building. This includes the bathrooms,locker rooms,and showers. Alot of the machines are in great condition, the free weights have been recently replaced with new ones, and the water fountains are always clean. They also added new tanning beds and hydro massage beds. My only 2 complaints are the obnoxious amount of TVs in the cardio area and the lack of papertowels in the bathroom.*Black Card Member*
