My experience here was unexplainable it was amazing Amber is amazing I will definitely be back. Best place to get a haircut for sure in a clean comfortable environment where everyone is extremely welcoming.

I cant believe how terrible this hair cut is. Completely devastated. I asked for a long bob with it longer in the front. I told her LONG bob several times with it extra long and angled in the front. I Showed her a picture of what I wanted. The hair in the picture has shoulder length hair and the back has NO LAYERS with it longer in the front. I kept saying make sure its long enough and no layers. What I got was a 90s style short layered bob. Which is so terrible and uneven with layers in the back. I look like a classic Karen now. Completely disregarded what I wanted. They have no Idea about modern hair styles, limited skills and Outdated!

I really loved the woman who did my hair..got a wash,cut & style for $47.. it was alittle out of my price range but I wanted to pamper myself..& of course they have to push the products on you & if you buy you save 20% so I decided to splurge..I bought an olive oil leave-in conditioner at 12.99 & a primer with heat protection at 10.00.. my ONLY problem was when I got home I noticed the primer with heat protection says sample on it.. so if its a sample why charge me 10.00 for it ..a sample is suppose to be free,right..????!!!????

It’s been 3 years and I still believe that this is one of the worst hair cut experiences of my life. The people were unprofessional and gossipy, I walked out almost in tears on how mad my hair cut turned out, and they knew it was bad too (it was frizzy and uneven and was one of the most unflattering haircuts I’ve ever gotten). They actually were laughing about my cut when I was walking out of the salón. They tried to keep it quiet but failed miserably.

Would wonder how much u would charge to do my hair from blond to black and red I can send pick with extensions in my hair for longer hair

They don’t charge the prices that are on display—be prepared to pay $5-$10 more than what you think you will be chargedI wanted something fun and flirty for a rehearsal dinner. The stylist made my head look like a big brown football helmet. She was very tentative with my hair and took forever to dry it (even though it’s very thin). She kept pulling it and yanking it every other minute.I’m going to take a shower and redo it myself. A complete waste of money.

Suzanne Myers is the only person I trust to cut my hair! Always cuts my hair perfectly, and even helps when I dont know what I want. Through proms, a wedding, and many visits in between, she has always done a great job!!!

I came here once for a huge knot in my hair and walked in without an appointment. the lady was super nice and patient. She worked on my hair for well over 2 hours. when she got the knot out, she trimmed it and even did the blonde highlights i wanted. she even gave me hair advice on how to keep knots out of my hair and this was back in January. will definitely be back for birthday highlights

I went to do perm and I paid $200 but the work is very bad it’s not curly at all.

First time I went here, the results did not look like what I wanted and completely dried my hair. Second time, the results were completely opposite of what I wanted and dried my hair again! Let me tell you there will be no third time

When I went in to the the salon I was not sure of exactly what I wanted. After speaking with my stylist, Tony, he came up with the perfect haircut for me. I could not be happier with the service and my hair. I live 45 minutes away and will be more than happy to travel to see him the next time I need my hair cut.

While the stylists were very talkative, I did not have a good experience at Regis Salon. I asked for a simple dark brown dye with a slight red tone. Instead, I got dark black bangs and bright red hair. It ended up looking as if someone had simply painted half of my hair black and the other half red. I had a very negative experience at this salon and I would not recommend that others try it.

Susan Myer did an excellent job cutting my hair. Regis has raised their prices significantly but if you can get an experienced hair dresser like Susan then its worth the money.

If you are a professional who values your look and has self-esteem, STAY AWAY ! Regis in Ithaca will nickel and dime you, and obviously untactfully so. No one specializes in anything there, and the lot of the crew according to the pre appointment phone converse with the manager equal only 5 years experience. The hairdresser that cut my hair completely ignored my guidelines for what I wanted, and did what she wanted to do, and in a Rush to get it done and over with. Left my hair a mess, uneven and so short that theres no room left to correct it. I look absolutely Horrible ! A HUGE, MISERABLE MISTAKE ! Stay Away from Kala. Her attitude also left a lot to be desired. I should have left when I first acknowledged this but I was there and went through a lot to get to the appointment on time. The one young male hairdresser seemed to be the only one in the shop with any amount of sense. I would have asked him to fix the mess but Kala left no room for correction. I asked for 4 inches and she gave me 8 inches ! That is not a small quantification ! I also came in for a color change to which she did Not even do my roots ! which I realized in the aftermath. Now I have to go out and buy a color to do my own roots myself. When I got home I immediately got out my scissors and tried to angle my hair in proportion with my bone structure, which is INSANE for anyone to have to do after a salon visit !!!! I feel as if I have been physically Assaulted and am making it a point to FOREWARN Everyone I can from making the same TERRIBLE MISTAKE.

This is the worse place ever. First time the cut was uneven on both sides,Gave it a second chance and the same thing happened. Intentionally cut wrong.I also asked for a specific cut and got something totally different.Everyone has a bad days but this is far beyond that. Think twice before you go here.No stars for this place. Have to give one to get review in. :(I am also contacting the Regional Manger to file a complaint and give further details about this salon and managements treatment of its customers in this salon.Went back to have them fix the cut and they only made the cut opposite of the cut done yesterday. The Red head laughed when I was walking out.First she told me I would have to wait until the gal that cut my hair was in, which would be a week away. Then she told me the Manager would have to fix it cut. She will not be in until Thursday, to long, how about Tuesday. Now, please. She then telephoned the Manager (?) and got permission for another gal to fix it, but obviously told her to do the same thing that the first gal did.She just switched sides, left side longer than right instead of right side longer than left.

The stylists at Regis always take their time to make my experience as best as possible. I recently went from being very blonde to very brunette and it was a long process. My stylist took her time and made sure every detail was perfect. I will definitely be coming back for every coloring service in the future.

My hair looks good. but i mainly have a question. i got the shampoo, condition, cut, dry, and style package ($48). and the lady who cut my hair did very nicely, although straightening my hair was an extra $19? is that normal? normally, when i go to salons and a package says “style”, it means you get to choose whether you want to straighten, curl, etc your hair. having that idea, i asked her to straighten my hair afterwards. and she didn’t inform me that it was extra until AFTER she had done it. i think she should’ve informed me before doing it, because i definitely would’ve said nevermind because that’s insane. but is that true? or did this lady just scam me because i wasn’t with my parent at the time? (i’m 14 and they had given me money to get my hair cut while they shopped) someone please respond asap

In sagertown mall jc penny, staff very polite and very professional, they take the time to make sure that you get the style and look that you want. Staff is very friendly, and prompt and acknowledge that you have arrived. Place is very clean but could be updated just a bit.

I had a 9am appointment with Sharon this morning because my daughter was getting married & Im the mother of the bride & needed an updo. It came out absolutely fantastic. Well we just got home after 13 hours and my hair still looks as beautiful as it did the morning. THANK YOU SOOOOO MUCH Sharon! I just can’t thank you enough because all day/night long I kept getting compliments on my hair. Thank you so much for helping me look beautiful for my daughters wedding! ❤️

I have been getting my hair done same thing blonde highlights for over 15 years. Through the years I have gone to many different salons and have experienced many different stylists. I have paid a lot and I have paid a little. I had my hair done at Regis and they did a good job as always but when I went to pay they decided to add two extra charges. One for the toner and one for my hair being MEDIUM length. In the 15 years or so I have been getting this done to my hair I have not ever been charged for these two things. First off every hair dresser knows it is just a given your putting toner on hair after bleach has been put on. Its always been something that goes hand in hand. I have never not once ever gone without toner after and never have I ever been charged. Also medium length give me a frigen break. My hair falls above or at my shoulders. Its so unfortunate because I will not be going back. With the $30 tip my total was about $150 no cut just full highlights, toner and my medium length hair.

My wife and I go to Candy. Shes funny and does great work. I had another guy once and he was good too. If youre not happy with the results say something instead of complain on here. I walked in looking like a grease ball and came out like this.

Emily cut my hair today and i couldnt be more pleased, my hair is perfect. I have very long thick hair that hasnt been cut in almost 2 years... i went in and told her my reservations about getting too much length taken off of my hair and she literally could not have done a better cut. She cut so much damage off of my hair but also maintained the length, i was in shock at how long it still is!!! I couldnt be happier. I have found my new stylist :) my mom also had her hair cut and highlighted for her vacation by Leni, and she absolutely loves her hair and loved Leni too. We cant wait to go back!

Great atmosphere and hairdresser but very pricey

My hairdresser spent the whole cut making fun of a weekly customer with disabilities while the other workers laughed and called her things like, useless, cripple, not worth their time and a waste of space. I was outraged and kept asking them to stop, which they just whispered about it instead. Then, after I had asked to not have my hair washed, she did it anyways, then charged me for it and a number of other things that she said I needed like expensive gels and creams. Whenever I told her not to put more product in my hair or do things to raise my price, she would say things like, well its in there so its too late. I will never go to this place again and spent the rest of the day looking in the mall for the woman they were making fun of, to tell her.

Honestly if I could give no star I would. I am so disappointed with how my hair turned out. My stylist did not care about what I wanted and I ended up having orange hair instead of a brown hair! I cannot be anymore disappointed with this salon.

The people were professional and really very nice. Leaving satisfied with the results of my hair.

Lorna did an excellent job. Normally Im worried about ppl cutting my hair but she proved to be very skilled. She has been cutting hair for 15 years now.

Wendy cut my hair and after I asked her to only cut off the ends she cut off about 2-3 inches and then left me with a hack job and tried to hide how bad it was with a blow out. I will never go here again.

My wife went here last night to get her hair washed and straightened (flat iron, no chemicals) which she has had done several times before (this year) and suddenly the price has tripled?!?! On to of this, the stylist created a rats nest out of her hair in the sink. I should never have to pick my wife up from the mall in years like that. Shame on you Regis.

I would NOT go here ever again. Nor would I recommend it. I got my hair colored there a few weeks ago if that and the stylist seemed at first like she did a good job but she curled my hair so I couldnt notice the mistakes until after I was gone. Day after showering and examining all the highlights she did I noticed a lot of messups. And my hair wasnt even cut even. To be sure I did go see a lady I know that works at another salon to examine it and she saw a lot of errors. The highlights bled through and you can see the lines of every blonde highlight luckily I can sorta hide it with the top half of my hair until i can get it fixed right. But when my boyfriend and i called them to reschedule everything was set Friday to go back and get it looked at by them and the manager and get it fixed and done the right way. Well on my way there my car decided to break down. My engine was pretty much fried. So I called them and the lady I spoke to on the phone said im sorry to here that and asked if I wanted to reschedule or wait and call her back to find out more information to see when i can make it and come in. So i said sure. Well i was stuck on the side of the road for hours til i got a tow truck to come get me and it was horrible I finally was able to call back and speak with the manager. Well the manager decided to be completely rude to me and tell me I rescheduled to many times apparently and that Im no longer welcome back there. She wont give me a refund and wont allow me to get it fixed. Had no sympathy for me at all and said it wasnt her problem. I would say this is completely unprofessional and no one deserves to be treated the way she treated me. Im currently reporting the business to the better business bureau.

Its hit or miss here. If you can get in to see Suzanne you wont be disappointed.

This is an update of my previous review so i went on sunday wanted a chunky highlights came out with orange then on monday i went in to fix the orange came home with red yallow and gray then i was so upset that i called my sister to take me to her hairstyles Eastwood hair salon when they saw it it was even more upsetting they told me i had leopard patches on back of my hair and also they have to do color correction which will cost couple $100+ so i came back storming to the ragis and ask to speak to manager she wasnt there but when she got there she was so nice her name is Sum she listened to what i told her..that calm me down and told me that they will fix it today the lady who fixed my hair Lorna is the best hairstyles i have ever seen she is fast professional friendly im diffentaly going back to Lorna again.Thank you Sum ( the manger) andLorna my hair feels amazing.

I went there for partial highlights of Mocha color and they messed up my hair. It does not look like highlights at all, more like an overall color which look awful as I have black hair.I will never return to this salon again.

Tldr: The staff have no idea of the policies and they wont fix it if they screw it up.Ive been there many times before and they were ok. The mall doesnt have too many good options though. This last time I went I had someone Ive never had before. Quick male haircut, cost about $26. Im not a picky person with my hair, but she cut the back all one length and it was pretty long, which I didnt notice at the time. Like 5 days later it kinda seemed like I had a mullet going on. I called and asked it they could just fix up the back quickly and that I didnt really like the way they cut it. The lady said no problem, but when I drove in after work they said it had to be the same lady that cut my hair before. I said that I was told to come. They responded, Yes that sounds like something she would say, but no, wed have to charge you for a full haircut if its not the same person. I was angry, but I left and came back when the person who cut my hair before was working. She then said that its been a week and normal people get a new haircut every week and a half. I tried to explain to her I wasnt trying to screw her out of another haircut, I just want like clippers on the back so I dont look like I have a mullet. My full haircut only took 15 minutes and cost almost $30; this will take like 1 minute to do. After arguing she finally said ok, just sit down, ill get clippers. She then proceeded with a terrible 10 second buzz and screwed up the back of my hair pretty bad. I will not be going back.

My hair color did not turn out the way I wanted it. My stylist charged me for a hair color twice even though it is his fault that my hair was dark blonde from the bottom and extremely light blonde from the roots and i did not ask for ombre :|. Overall, do not come here for coloring. I am not even 1% pleased with the results or charging me for the colorist fault. I wish I didnt go there for my first time coloring my hair. MORE THAN DISATISIFIED.
