I go to hair habitat because they have the shampoo and conditioner I like (I’m a little hesitant to order on Amazon with dupes and it’s not a US brand). The staff are always so pleasant and helpful and the salon is BEAUTIFUL! I already have a stylist at a salon that I’m familiar with, but I continue to go to Hair Habitat to get my products.

I have used hair habitat for more than 4 years now for coloring and highlights. I simply love their natural hair products and colors. All the lines that they carry are of excellent quality. No chemical smells when you walk in there.The ambience of the salon is simply beautiful. It is comparable to any high end salon in NYC or a big city minus the ridiculous pricing.

Had my haircut with Louie last week. Hes a very nice guy and easy to get along with and really took his time.However, I ended up leaving with a haircut that isnt what I asked for. I also went in wanting to buy a matte paste that is similar to what I have been using for years, and was convinced to try something different and am really not liking it.Overall it was so/so.EDIT 9/11/19: I just wanted to add an addendum to my original review. The manager called me the day after I posted and I was very pleased with how they resolved this.

Ive been using hair habitat for a few years now. I love that they try to use natural products. It never smells like chemicals. All of the stylists are amazing and the owner is very friendly. The products are too notch too! You cannot find a better hair salon is Cuse.

I visited Hair Habitat for the first time today. It was pretty damn fab. Kaitlyn was my stylist and she was fantastic. She listened to my wants, made helpful suggestions and made a great cut. The salon itself is very well decorated and stylized. Its clean and has a good feel. Plus I greatly appreciate their dedicated efforts to being a green, organic business. I will absolutely be returning​!

It was perfect and Ill be going back. Exceptional hair coloring with gentle products. Stylists with panache. Just the experience I was looking for.

I went today to Hair Habitat and had a great haircut and hot towel shave. Convenient location. Lou is a classically trained barber who gave me a professional trim and an amazing shave. His attention to detail and focus on customer satisfaction was very much appreciated. If you have never had a hot towel shave- you need to try it.

It was a wonderful experience! Annmarie Mastrobattista was unbelievable and extremely talented! They had refreshments and the cutest decor. I loved every minute of it and will definitely be going back!

I got my haircut at Hair Habitat by Kaitlyn! I had been a few months ago and I was very excited to go back. Both times I have walked in, I have been greeted very nicely by the employees. I immediately felt at peace and was relaxed for my haircut! Kaitlyn made me feel very comfortable as she sat me in front of the mirror and asked me what I wanted done! She had great suggestions and both times I have walked away with new confidence! Kaitlyn and all the staff at Hair Habitat have made the salon a welcoming place with positive energy! I cant wait to go back!!

I had a haircut and shave by Louie. He did a nice job with my hair and it was refreshing that he didnt try to rush the cut and made sure I was happy with the result. I also had a shave which I really enjoyed. If you havent done this before it is definitely a treat. Overall excellent experience and I like the all natural products. Another appointment all set up.

Very friendly staff and Mariah did a great job on my hair which is at the growing out phase but she managed to make it look great while i continue with lengthening my layers. and she did a wonderful job with my bangs I am very pleased with this salon and will continue to go there for my hair care

My experience was amazing!! I didnt get a haircut, but a facial by Lynn. She took her time to make sure I was comfortable, provided a refreshing beverage, and was extremely knowledgable about the products. I felt RELAXED from start to end. Besides the facial. The salon has a very industrial/rustic feeling to it. Which I love. I would def recommend any of the services here.

Super unimpressed with the ability for them to keep staff. Ive already had multiple appointments cancelled because they keep letting staff go. I have not once called and had someone actually answer the phone, so its days and days of phone tag. And I still havent even gotten to come in and actually have a haircut.

Had Thee BEST massage ever with Vince at Hair Habitat!! Hands down never had a better massage. Vince was knowledgable, attentive and professional. The hot herbal poultice massage was relaxing and smelled amazing! The salon is beautiful, everything impeccable and clean. Can not wait to return for my next massage with Vince at Hair Habitat. Had a great experience at Hair Habitat last week. The great conversation and straight-razor neck shave took me back to when I was a kid getting a haircut with my dad. It blew the typical assembly-line experience at one of the chain shops out of the water. Stop in and see Louie immediately!

Ive been getting my hair cut by Shannon for the past year or so and I have no complaints. Previously I would just go to Supercuts and the difference is well worth the couple extra dollars.

Caitlyn did my hair here and she was very nice, listened to what I wanted and did a great job. I have kind of curly/wavy/frizzy difficult hair so its always a challenge to deal with it. The salon is pretty quiet and relaxing.

Really nice place and people. Wish I could have gotten an appointment sooner, but still worth it.

Fantastic!!! Got highlights and a great cut by Caitlin! I felt like a modern art piece with my papered insted of foiled highlights..better for you hair! and...style and fashion and healthy hair!!! Its my little slice of NYC...here in Cuse. I do stand up comedy, sing, and act in NYC but live here...so this is great! The owner lived in NYC..so he gets it....the wave of the future. They also have non-toxic nail polish ..ZOYA..brand.which I love and have at home..so you can get your nails done there too! ..LOVE it at Hair Habitat!
