Best barber shop ever. Great people, great cuts.

I been coming to The Shop to see Anthony since March (6 months). Very friendly guy & consistent detail oriented haircuts. Couldn’t ask for a better barber, thanks again Anthony! 👍🏻

Wonderful experience. Most people are afraid of small talk with your barber, but the barbers here are as professional and friendly as they could possibly be. One of the best haircuts Ive ever gotten, and unmatched service.

Usually when it comes to hair cuts I just stop at the nearest place I can find while I am out and about, this has changed. I stopped in today, and was impressed by how efficient the shop ran. The quality of the haircut was exceptional - and one of, if not the best that I ever had, and I thought was very reasonably priced Without a doubt, I will be back as a regular. Well done guys!

I really retired what was said before about this barber shop . There was favoritism today Friday January 24 I arrived at 1:35 pm I took the number 18 I was waiting until 4:35 pm when I asked the barber with whom I usually get my hair cut with if he was ready for me yet, me he replied that I had to wait 4 more shifts. Three people who arrived AFTER me who never called for their numbers were cut before me. The order of line is not met or respected and much less is by order. There is a mess and lack of total professionalism and disrespect to the client that these things happen, someone should take action on the matter and thus clients like me whom had a high rating for this establishment never come back. I will make sure that the people I referred to this place know what happened today. Very disappointed.

Ive been getting my haircut from these guys for over 30 years, their predecessors were responsible for my first haircut back when they were in Shopping Town Mall. I followed the original group when they split off to their new location on Erie Blvd. Sports on the T.V., good banter from the barbers, and a damn good haircut. What more good you ask for? Oh and the atmosphere is top notch.

Best price for what you get and a good old fashion barber shop feel. Been going here for over a year now, sat with every one at the shop and not one bad hair cut. Yes, if your not there first thing you may have a wait but its 100% worth the wait. Hair cut, razor edging and beard trim...and done well for less than most places. Best in the area....will never go anywhere else.

Hallelujah…I’ve finally found a great barber! This was my first visit to “The Shop” and Chris gave me the best haircut and trim that I’ve had in years. It’s a long drive, but I will definitely be back. I highly recommend.

Nick has been cutting my hair every Saturday for 8 yrs now,(all the barbers here are excellent!)I love this place... hanging w the guys talking sports,life,etc...free WiFi to boot! Oh yeah,they dont brag about their legendary hot steam towel...but I get one every week!

Buddy at work told me about this place around the time they first opened The Shop. I came by on a day off to scope things out and I’ve been getting my hair cut here ever since. They’ve definitely grown in popularity since first opening. I used to be able to walk in and get a haircut almost right away! But it’s worth the wait. Tony, Vinny, Nino, Mike, Anthony and everyone else does an amazing job. It is cash only which is a mild inconvenience but they do have an ATM if you find yourself without money.If you’re looking for a straight razor shave, just know that these guys will use an electric razor first, then the straight razor. You still get a great shave but if you have sensitive skin you could get some irritation from the electric razors.These guys have a lot of experience behind them, you can read more on their website. Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for a haircut and a laugh.

It’s ok. Cheap and fast cut. Not the best one. If you want to save money, this is the place for you. They are always busy.

I am very hesitant about barbers considering Ive had bad experience with them. When I looked up The Shop I was impressed by the reviews. When I walked in the environment is fantastic. Very classy place. Tony cut my hair and I dont have one complaint. He was great and did exactly what I wanted. I was very happy with my haircut and plan on returning in the future.

Got my haircut here, and after a day, Ive come to realize that I was extremely dissatisfied. The guy who did my hair barely paid any attention to me, taking his time with talking to everyone else around us. The end result was quite disappointing, as it wasnt cut with expertise and generally looked terrible after a day of settling. What I mainly wanted was to keep length and get hair off my ears and neck. Hair was not kept off my ears and length was cut too short. On top of that, prices were higher than shown on Yelp, plus while everything I saw online said they took credit cards, they do not, so spent more money on their ATM machines fees. I cannot recommend coming here.

Best hair cuts in syracuse!

Great haircuts, conversation, and atmosphere. If you go at a busy time you COULD be looking to have a 1-2 hour wait (my avg wait is around 40 minutes on a busy day). But go on non peak hours and youll be seen right away. You can always call and and ask about wait times before you show. I dont go to any other shop in syracuse.

I was there today for first time and I found a really good barbershop, John did a great job with my hair and absolutely Im gonna be there next month with him. 100% recommended, Im very satisfied.

These guys all do a great job. Only down side is that theres usually a wait depending on the time of day, but you can always pay a little extra and make an appointment.

I walked into this business with the intention of getting a botched haircut fixed and I am greeted by several fellow customers staring me down as if my husband and I dont belong in that place. I come up to the front desk and have to wait a couple minutes for a gentleman to tell me to take a ticket and have a seat but with no estimated wait time. They say that they offer free wifi but it is password locked and there is no sign staged anywhere telling you the password. The main reason I ended up leaving after waiting around for 45 minutes is because apparently they only accept cash and have an ATM in the building but nowhere outside or inside the building is it displayed that they only accept cash. I had to ask online through Google and a reviewer told me that. I understand that it is a barbershop but its pretty clear what type of guys they cater to. You really should diversify your business and make everyone feel welcome by not pandering to only one demographic. I want to give this place a chance but I cant get over how uncomfortable I felt waiting in this establishment without any greeter to welcome me or explain the services to me as a new customer.
