Very honest and reliable mechanic. Theyre very knowledgeable about German cars. The entire team is very friendly. Thanks to Kyle and Brian for a great experience
Terrific service, reasonably pricedI live in Denver. I was driving back home from upstate New York when I hit road debris on 81 south, about 10 mi north of Syracuse. I immediately blew out my left rear tire and put a big hole in the wheel itself. Put on spare tire and got off the highway. Quickly realized that whereas I could get a replacement tire on a Saturday afternoon, it was impossible to get a new wheel for my 2012 Range Rover over the weekend. To further complicate matters, the next morning (Sunday), the left front tire was dead flat as well. I called Upstate Imports on Monday morning, had it towed to their location, and they quickly determined I had a small hole in the left front wheel as well. They quickly located two replacement (used) wheels in the northeast, had them at their shop on Wednesday morning, and my car back to me a few hours later. They kept me in the loop every step of the way. This was my first service in the lifetime of the car (173k miles) that did NOT occur at a Land Rover dealership (nearest dealership was 70 miles away in Rochester NY - too far to go for a donut spare). Price was far better than anything I ever paid at the dealership. If I lived in the Syracuse area, I would go to Upstate Imports for my routine service.
The team are very professional and knowledgeable. Always ready to help in any way they can. The best team to work on your European car.
I was thoroughly impressed with Upstate Imports. You would think because they work on high end cars like Porsches and BMWs thered be an air of stuffiness in the shop. Nope. The guys there were so down to earth. They had wifi so I could still work while they were doing their thing. Theyve got fresh coffee, water, and snacks while you wait. I went there just to get my car inspected and what I got was my car inspected. Thoroughly. They called me out because something was wrong. Great heres an unexpected $500 bill. Showed me a problem with my exhaust. Loose and missing hardware. Of course it had to get fixed. 15 mins later Im up paying my bill waiting for the sticker shock. I was very shocked. They charged me for my inspection. That was it. On my car i would expect to be charged for every little thing. I asked about the repair and Kyle told me that it was such a quick fix there was no need to charge. Ive read their reviews, good and bad. From my own personal experience I can tell you that Kyle and his team are professional, courteous, HONEST, and good old fashioned down to earth people. I would absolutely recommend him and his shop for anything they are capable of doing. Thank you Kyle and Upstate Imports. We definitely need more of your kind in the auto repair world.
8 Oz Med. Rare Sirloin & Fries were served nice and hot with amazing signature seasoning! Kennedy was a great server. Berry sangria was also very good.
Great service and really helpful team. Detailed quote, photo inspection with comments and online review.
Took my 2015 Mercedes GL450 to this shop after shopping around and even going to the Mercedes dealership. The repair was not cheap but Kyle did his best to work with me on the price. My car runs smooth and the check engine light that has been haunting me for so long is gone. Am very pleased with my experience and will recommend this place to anyone with a foreign car.
Upstate Imports is the excellent choice in choosing a garage to service your car especially if you own a high end or imported vehicle. If you own a Range Rover it’s the only place you want to take your Rover in Syracuse. Other garages will tell you they have the diagnostic tools but most don’t. Save yourself the agony of an expensive bill and your car still isn’t fixed.Kyle who runs Upstate Imports in Syracuse is outstanding and honest and gets it done. He is also a Range Rover owner and enthusiast. Do yourself a favor and go to the best! There’s no reason to look any further. I’ve been a customer for many years now. Their shop in Baldwinsville is also excellent!
They always do an excellent job at an affordable price! Very happy with my service.
Actually do their job! Excellent service. And very flexible.
A great team of mechanics!
Timely, caring, informative and professional. I would recommend to everyone. They took of my Mini Cooper and even gave me advice when I asked about doing my own modifications at home.
So maybe I just had an off experience and it’s pretty rare that I take a car for service unless it’s something I can’t do I had an appointment for a Monday so I dropped off my car on Sunday night I was getting a nys inspection and was feeling lazy and its cold out so thought I would get an oil change also. I called on Monday after noon and they said the car wasn’t going to be done. Ok that’s fine not like I’m going anywhere because of covid lockdowns anyway.Got a call on Tuesday that the car needed two bulbs replaced. Fine since I don’t want to go back and forth I’ll just pay the almost hour of labor to change them. I get it flat billing sometimes the shop makes out sometime you make out fair enough. They call back in a few hours say the car is all set and it’s 250 bucks.......seriously that’s criminal so I ask if that is right and the guy say we charge 120 an hour and there’s no issue with the bill.... no kidding all shops do....Fine so I pay and head down to get my car. I finally get to actually look at the bill and there’s a 62 dollar charge for a courtesy inspection. I call back and they have to look into it. I get a call back saying it was a mistake and they will refund the 62 bucksMy point here is I knew something was wrong with the bill when they told me the price but they weren’t even willing to look at it and apply some logic that says 250 for an inspection oil change and replacing two bulbs just seems odd. It would be nice to have someone double check the billAt the end of the day the work got done and I got my refund but it was a pia these guys do great work on some really pricey cars If you need work done I’m sure they will do good work just check your bill
Great place for foreign cars they were welcoming
Really fantastic people. They not only let me reschedule with them multiple times, but were always a pleasure to work with and speak to each and everytime. They got my battery switched out quickly and for a good price. Wish I could rate more than 5 stars.
Excellent service and nice to have a place west of Baldwinsville that services European cars. Only issue I had was making my 1st appointment at their syracuse location. Lesson learned. Will return.
Great repair facility for imports. Very professional and excellent customer service😁
Thieves - thank-you for your follow up. You stole from me. Therefore you are a thief.
I was told this place is reasonable and efficient, so I took my car there to be serviced. And my car sat there for over an month, and had not been work on. I received a text from the shop confirming my vehicle was to be worked on 10/21/19, stopped in to make sure everything is on schedule...Kyle told me they had to push my car back to service other vehicles, and my car would not be ready for at least another week. He made me feel like I wasn’t a valued customer..so I’ve Paid $427.00 for absolutely nothing and took my vehicle to another establishment to be worked on. Mind you my car was not put back together as I gave it Kyle at Upstate Imports and dash screen is cracked,he denies damages...other than transmission, the car was damaged free when I gave it to them. Would never recommend UPSTATE IMPORTS to anyone...
Great shop for the Euro scene, work was done quickly and for a fair price. Highly recommend.I wanted to edit my review after getting service and second time after installing springs and intercooler piping. The work was done on time and well although there was a slight discrepancy in communication count on me returning in the future.
These guys are awesome and and glad they have another location within the Syracuse area. I saved so much money vs bringing my Mercedes to the dealer and wished I found these guys sooner for past repair bills. I highly recommend this repair shop if you have a import car needing repair! The quality of work + value + customer service=GREAT EXPERIENCE.
Amazing customer service, got out in a timely fashion, great low prices. Would 100% recommend upstate imports to anyone with a European car
After having a bad experienced at the Baldwinsville location, I gave the Erie boulevard location a try and Kyle helped restore my faith. He was very up-front and honest with me about price and problems and kept me in the loop every step of the way. I will be back for future repairs at this location 👍
Upstate Imports offers the best Saab service and repair in the area. These guys know what they are doing and have the tools and experience needed to diagnose and fix a wide range of issues. I have taken my 900, 9-3, and 9-5 to Upstate for everything and have never been disappointed.
I highly recommend upstate imports auto repair to work on your euro or import vehicle, they are very reasonable and friendly.
We had a great experience at Upstate Imports on Erie Blvd. I brought in my Moms 2007 Mini with no idea what to expect. The team there is friendly, professional and most importantly knows what they are doing. The car was back in business the next day and the cost for repair was reasonable. We will definitely be using Upstate Imports in the future for our Mini and VW.
The owner, manager and technicians were wonderful! Attending to my vehicle the very next day of my request even when ordering parts! I will definitely bring my car back to them when needed! Thrilled with my experience!
The people at Upstate Auto Imports always take care of my 2008 Saab 9-7X. They took care of TPMS dash light that a GM Dealer said they no longer had the program on last year. It was worth driving an hour for service to get the job done.A pleasant waiting room, coffee, TV with nice chairs, a great place.
Best service quick and honest! Had new fluids put in, new tires mount balance and e-brake replacement. One of those rare places you can recommend to others.
Upstate Imports has bee servicing my Saabs and BMW since i have owned them, and i have never been disappointed by them. I think that they are the best at what they do, and very honest. I think we are fortunate to have Jeff and his business in our area.
Great place to have work done.
Matt was professional, knowledgeable, and relentless in dealing with the details of doing an engine swap w/ a used engine I provided. Car runs great. Interestingly, Upstate took on the job the Mercedes dealer was afraid to do. Thats saying a lot.
Top notch ownership, employees, and workmanship!! Would recommend over all the dealer service stations in the area!! Great job Matt!!
Great place to service my 2007 mini. They are very professional and do a great job of updating status.
Took my 35 year old Benz in to address several lingering issues. The problems were diagnosed and repaired to my complete satisfaction at a reasonable cost. Highly recommended.
Great experience. Very friendly and courteous. Professional and performed what needed to be done.
High quality service for European Cars, knowledgeable, flexible, and dependable staff. I have my Mini serviced here when ever it needs it, and will come back again.
Professional work at a reasonable price. Recommend for BMW service.
Excellent job, professional, fairly priced, Matt is knowledgeable and pleasant to work with. They have even fixed poor workmanship from other shops.

Excellent facility and technicians. Responsive and supportive of individual needs.
Great service from them
Great repair and price. Thank you
Best place around for SAAB repairs.
This is the only place to bring your European vehicle.
After 2 weeks and no fix to my check engine light. I am not impressed.
