It took a few days to get my car into the bay but it was totally worth the wait. Once my time-slot was ready, they had my car in and out in a single business day, despite my car needing both initial diagnosis AND replacement of quite a few suspension components.On top of that, when I told them to do an oil change too but forgot to tell them synthetic vs conventional. They called me back later (when a tech must have seen my old oil change sticker) to make sure that they were putting in the same quality of oil. Kind of a small thing but I appreciated the thoughtfulness when some shops would not have bothered.

Ive had my vehicles repaired at Jers a couple times now, and both experiences were great. They were professional, quick, and made high-quality repairs. I felt like I was treated very well at a very fair price. Jers is definitely my go-to for vehicle repairs.

Jers is the best in town. Ive been taking my cars there since they were in their old location in Layton. The only drawback is they are usually booking out appointments at least a week in advance but there is a reason, and its that they are the best in town. Once they do have your vehicle it is in good hands and repairs are done promptly. Ive never had anything show up on the bill that wasnt accurately quoted up front. Recently I did have to bring my vehicle back in after some OEM factory parts they installed failed again inside warranty and they squeezed me in next day and got me back on the road.

These guys are good people. They aren’t just there to make a quick buck, they care about their customers. All you have to do is sit in the waiting area for 10 minutes and you will hear it. They do amazing work, are honest, and actually communicate. I feel like that is rare in the automotive repair business. 10/10 recommend!

Brought my truck in because it was shaking mechanic told me he had two options $5,000 option which would be to replace the engine which would definitely fix it or $2,000 option which might fix the problem I opted for the $5,000 new engine went in and still shook then he told me he was a computer $1,000 and a new computer and is still shakes brought it back a third time they said its the spark plugs and wires now theyre $500 still shook brought back a fourth time they said they couldnt do anything because they cant feel it shaking even though its pretty noticeable I did not bring it back a fifth time. I feel cheated

Jers Elite Automotive is amazing!! This is my second time with this shop. About a month ago I was looking for someone to fix my car when the alternator when out. Jers was recommended by my father in law, he said that they are great people and do good work.I had the car towed and met with Ryan. This was New Years eve day that the car went in. He told me that It would be a few days due to the holiday weekend...to my surprise, Ryan called and said that he squeezed me in and got the car fixed. He even stayed later so I could pick it up. Now that is customer service! Price was good and work was done right.So when coming home from St George the other day my F-150 started having issues, I thought was my transmission going out. Without hesitation I set an appointment with Jers. I described the issue I had while driving and he said it doesnt sound like the transmission. Well that afternoon Jer called and said it was a faulty ignition coil. They had the truck back to me that afternoon. They are great people and do great work. Are you kidding me? I am a creature of habit and this is the habit me and my family needed. Jeremy and Ryan are the most professional individuals I’ve ever come across. Their mechanics are top notch and quality of work unmatched. When I thought I had a problem they steered me in a cost affective and more long term sustainment win. They are the best, bar none.

Wow would definitely recommend! Called around different places to get a price on a new alternator and Jers was the best price by $50 to all the way up to $300 (Dealer) difference. Also needed front brakes and rotors and they charged cheaper then any place around in Clinton area. They also finished my car in less then one day! Highly recommend and will come back for future car maintenance needs. Also very nice and friendly!

Jers is AMAZING! I was having all kinds of things going wrong with my F150. I had taken it to the dealer, and two other shops, trying to save money and figure out the issues. Finally asked around, and Jers came highly recommended, and now I can see why, they are truly the best mechanics hands down. Quickly diagnosed my issues, and then fixed them. Even fixing and replacing a part that the other mechanic had put on (they put the wrong part on), and then gave me the wrong part back. And overall, they actually charged me less! Its really nice to find an honest mechanic that has some integrity, and that does quality work at a good price. Jers has a new customer for life.

Ive used Jers for years. He has always been upfront on repairs or maintenance with only what needs to be done! I told him before I wanted new brakes on my truck, after looking at them he said they still have over half life left...I wasnt having any braking problems, so I didnt need a new brake job yet. Honesty, Integrity and Friendliness are what keeps me coming back.

I would trust Jer with any car and any problem. He is quick to diagnose and more importantly extremely honest. Our Tacoma had a few issues we had him look into and when calling he gave us the worst case pricing. We agreed to that price but when it was completed (2 days ahead of schedule) we were surprised and pleased to be quoted a price much less than the initial cost we agreed to. Jer is an incredible guy and his shop does a professional and honest job. I refuse to take my car anywhere else but Jers.

I drive a 1997 Land Rover Discovery and I already know the term that came up for you when you read the words “1997 Land Rover Discovery” and that term is “money pit.” Unluckily for me, I love my Disco. Luckily for my bank account, I found Jer’s Elite Automotive. Because of Jer’s, I now consider my SUV not so much as a money pit, but rather as an old SUV that simply needs extra TLC.Repairing my beloved Disco doesn’t simply entail picking up the phone or clicking on a couple of websites to order parts; it requires diligently searching and hunting for many parts that are no longer being manufactured. I know for a fact that if I hadn’t found this gem of an auto repair shop, maintaining and repairing my SUV would have cost me A LOT MORE MONEY. I’ve moved/lived all across the U.S. with my Disco, and the pricing at Jer’s is the absolute best and the most honest I have ever come across. The only thing that compares to the quality of their pricing is the quality of their work. From the replacement of my power steering gearbox and my damaged brake booster to something as simple as replacing my battery because the cells went bad in the one that I had, Jer’s is the only shop in the state of Utah that I’ll trust with my vehicles.

I was able to make an appointment for an oil change, and despite me being a few minutes late (was herding toddlers) they didnt seem bothered and my vehicle was serviced quickly. You can see everything in their big windows, so it is nice to see how well they are working. While I was waiting I overheard the owner talking with a customer on the phone who had brought a vehicle in with no oil even registering. He was honest with this customer explaining the potential damage this could do and how it was risky and not worth it. He pointed out clear understandable things such as that the last oil change sticker was also so worn it was unreadable. While he needed to be honest and have this hard talk with this customer he was also compassionate and friendly. He told the customer he would get him taken care of and referred to him as bud.

This is most definitely a 5 star honest shop which in the given industry is hard to come by. This will be a shop i will take all my vehicles to although I have moved to slc i still have my vehicles towed down to jers for service.

I cannot say how much my family and I appreciate the work that was done for us a Jers! We were traveling and passing through town when our AC went out and with a car load of people during travel temps near 100°F... It was not very pleasant to say the least. Jers worked with us and got us back on the road with the AC repaired with just a slight delay to our travel plans. This is a stand up shop. If you live near by and need a good, reliable and honest mechanic, look no further than the kind neighborhood shop at Jers!

A few years ago My MDX broke down just outside of Burley Idaho on a trip to mountain home to Take care of my mother. I was only half way to my destination and dead in the water. Elite automotive had worked on my vehicle before and I trusted them so I called to see what they suggested. In Burley they wanted over 7,000 dollars to fix a blown transmission. They also charged me 110 dollars for three days storage in Burley. I used a U Haul and transported my Accura MDX back to elite Automotive. Elite Automotive said they could save me a lot of money if I could get the vehicle back to Utah. For just a little over 6000 dollars they were able to replace the transmission ( with a 100,000 mile warrant). While they had everything torn apart they replaced tie rods and several other things that were needed due to the age of the vehicle. Basically the whole front end was fixed. I cant tell you how much it means to trust people when you are between a rock and a hard place. Please support this company. Professionalism is amazing, Their Work is above and beyond anything I have experienced. I consider them friends and that is because they are always there way I have needed them. Most of all I think their honesty is beyond reproach. Thanks for all the work Jer, Ryan and all of the crew have done for me I truly feel safe in my vehicles. What speaks volumes to me is when the state took away safety inspections every where else in clinton bumped their emissions testing to $40. What did Jers do? Kept it at $20 something. Why? Its the right and honest thing to do. They were making money at $20 something.I trust Jers and you should too!

I arrived a little early and they got started. I was out of there at 950. Great service, fast workers and great prices.

Jers Elite is a superb auto shop! They have fantastic prices and always do quality dealership work. They are honest and have integrity when dealing with their customers. They always tell me when something needs to be done right away and when something can wait to be fixed. Theyve also fit me in at a moments notice when Ive crawled my vehicle in to their establishment because it was breaking down. I always get my vehicle back the same day and occasionally the next day for some repairs. They replaced our entire transmission in 2 days too. They also inspect any prospective purchases on used vehicles to help make sure were not purchasing a lemon and that were getting a fair price. You cant do any better than Jers! Theyre simply the best!

These guys are good. Fair pricing and honest but kind of hard to do business with. My biggest issue is they are so busy you have to schedule several days in advance to even evaluate a problem. They need to hire more staff to accommodate more immediate needs. I would love to go to them more often than not busy life doesnt often allow for waiting 3 days to have a mechanical issue seen.

This is the place to take your vehicle for service and repairs. Jeremy is HONEST. I love that I can take cars there and know he will not take advantage of us. His pricing is very affordable. It is so nice to be able to take a car in and not feel like you are being taken advantage of. My most recent visit was for repairs after having failed Safety at a chain auto shop. They had lied about the problems, and the job that was quoted to me at $580 with them was done at Jers for $266. And he did the work that actually needed to be done. Imagine that. An honest mechanic. They do exist folks! I found one. He is awesome and I highly recommend him to anyone. Without a doubt he is the best around! His new shop in Syracuse is fantastic! I started bringing my cars to Jer when he first opened the first shop and hes not only been a great mechanic but also a great friend to our entire family and to many of my friends too. Her and his team have gone above and beyond for us so many times that Ive lost count. They truly understand how to treat their customers so that theyll come back again and again. I send my own mother to Jers with full confidence that they will treat her right everytime and they have always done well by us. Whenever there has been a price change due to finding something wrong or if the repair was able to be done more easily and quickly Jer has always called to let us know and has done all he could to make sure that either way we saw the savings where he could find them. If a repair didnt need to be done yet then he hasnt given me the hard sell to try and get me to do it so they could do more work on my car, so I know hes honest with me when he tells me that there is something that needs to be done that we werent aware of because Jer and his people are not predatory like that at all. Sometimes you cant make chicken salad out of chicken waste and some people cant understand that, but there will always be those people out there. I know for a fact that if someone doesnt feel like Jers has done the job right, they could talk to Jer personally and he would do everything he can to ensure that they walk away happy and valued as a customer. But he cant do anything if he isnt told and doesnt know that there is a problem or concern.

I had my truck towed to Jers. They tell me the price minimum will be $1200. So I planned for that. They tell me they are going to work on my truck on Thursday and Friday. They didnt get it finished til the following Wednesday. When they call me to pick it up, they tell me the bill is almost $1500. It would have been helpful to know the bill was going to be $300 more than originally planned. They charged me on my receipt for 15 gallons of diesel fuel @ $3 per gallon. When I get in my truck, the fuel gauge says EMPTY. Jers Automotive did nothing to remedy the problem. I will not be doing business with Jers and I will be steering people from them. I am very disappointed with their shop. I spent another $50 on diesel fuel after leaving the shop.

I called Jers to get an oil change on a strict budget ($25). Since they have their awesome $23.99 deal, I packed up my two and a half kids (husband is the half) and we headed out there. It was a little hard to find because they just moved Google hasnt caught up yet, but once we got there the customer service completely made up for the time spent trying to find them. They were professional, courteous, fast, and efficient. My oil change was done in less than a half-hour and my four-year-old has a time of his life looking at their magazines. So much so that they actually gave him one. I highly recommend this company to anyone on a budget, but needing to take care of your car still. This is a great company and I will go back again!

I have been taking my cars to him since he was a little shop in Layton doing things by himself, now his shop has grown I will recommend him to anyone who might need work done they will give you a free estimate and let you decide what you want to do they dont put any pressure on you to get things done it is a very relaxed environment and an excellent service.

Jers had been great to get my vehicles in and taken care of. Had my 06 Frontier in for a difficult to diagnose problem (ended up being a computer module) and they kept at it and fixed the problem. Also impressed with attention to detail and always calling to discuss findings before just starting repairs. Might costs a little more but they wont upsell you on things you dont need so in the long run its saved me more money than its cost to have it done right and they back up their work.
