My heart sank when I drove 1.5 hours away to pick up my new vehicle and realized I forgot my license plate. Thank you for letting us borrow your dealerships license plate to get home. Phenomenal service! I had planned to drop off my car and pick up a loaner and return to pick my car after it was serviced in a couple of days... I live 1 hour away. When I arrived the service manager said if you can wait 45 minutes I will service your car right now ... this way we save you a couple of trips. I was ecstatic and it was done! Amazing people.. look forward to my next quick service call!!!!

Unbelievable situation that Acura is 100% responsible for. I purchased a 12 MDX in Sept of 19 as I was expecting my first child and the Crosstour I was driving simply didnt have enough room. I found this MDX here at Crest Acura and fell in love. I have only driven Acuras my entire driving life. My first was a CL (230K), then a 05 RL (285K), I drove each one well over 150K without a problem. Here I am now with this MDX, with a KNOWN CONSUMPTION ISSUE. My vehicle drinks 1.2qts of oil per 1,000 miles. Acura is telling me its is out of the extended warranty as of 11/26/2019. Then I get sent this as an insult. Yeah, you know my acura, and the massive consumption issue it has from your company knowingly selling a defective product. Update as of 5/21/21 - still eating oil like crazy and is brutally getting worse. This is my daily, family driver. Thanks again Acura, from a longtime vtech driver.

My family and I have been doing business with Crest for as long as I can remember. Put simply, its a first class operation from top to bottom. I have worked directly with the owner right down to the folks who answer the phones, and everyone is professional, polite and committed to quality. As the only Acura dealership in the region, I have no doubt that they do a lot of volume. However, whenever I call there or am on sight, they greet me by name and remember me. You just dont see this type of commitment to customer service anymore. If you are in the market for a vehicle, do not hesitate to visit Crest. They will take good care of you during and long after the sale.

I recently had my new RDX in for warranty work. The management and service department were outstanding. Not only were my issues addressed, but Crest Acura took it a step above and made sure I did not have any further concerns. Jorge and his team were extremely helpful and polite. I was charged $800 in labor fees for 4 hours of work which included an oil change, new front and rear brakes, fluid check and refill, and tire rotation. I sat there for 4.5 hours because they did not have service loaners or rental service. To be fair, they offered to drop me off at the mall via their shuttle. This is the worst Acura experience Ive had. Next time, Ill drive to another city or state to experience the quality and care Im used to. Ill be contacting the BBB and Attorney General about this billing practice.

Best service department of Upstate NY period regardless of what car. I have 2 Audis and a Mercedes all of which exclusively come here for their annual inspections and to swap wheels because Jeff the service adviser is super upfront and takes a no-nonsense approach. I wont trust dealership service departments generally but Crest is as genuine as they come. As long as I am in the area they have my business!

I have been an Acura owner for the last 10 years. After receiving an email about an overstock at Crest Acura, I called up and spoke with Phil (the sales manager) and then Ed Wilson. I explained to him what I was looking for, and he put together the perfect deal for me. I was able to get into a new, nicer car without changing my current payment terms. I hadnt even considered getting a new car until 5:45pm on Tuesday, and by 7:30 we had everything in motion. A couple phone calls and a few emails later, and everything was ready for me to show up and sign the paperwork. I came by the next day at 5pm, took a test drive, and was headed out of the dealership by 6:15pm. There was one question about a financing term that came up near the end of the paperwork signing (something that is to be expected in this kind of transaction). One of the owners, Jim Barr, came over, explained everything to me, figured out a mutually-agreeable arrangement within a couple of minutes, and I was on my way. I have been a loyal Acura customer for a long time because of pleasurable purchasing experiences like this (and of course the quality of the vehicles). Im not a fan of spending a lot of time running back and forth to the dealer, long involved negotiations, or any sort of surprises at the closing table. The fact that I was able to complete this deal from start to finish in about 25 hours with up-front, honest salespeople who helped me achieve my goals, exemplifies why Acura is such a great company to work with.

Typical bait and switch. Drove to Syracuse under the false assumption that a vehicle I inquired about was still available. Upon arrival, Surprise!! It was sold. It happens, that’s acceptable. What isn’t is the misrepresentation that they “attempted” to notify me and their deceptive practice to sell me another vehicle that I wasn’t interested in. What ever happened to honesty, respect and genuine customer courtesy? Apparently that doesn’t exist at Crest Acura. This is a public service announcement.

Although Crest has an updated showroom, and great customer service it wasnt worth being lied to and deceived from the beginning. If we were told the truth about the vehicle from the beginning, we wouldve still brought it, but we didnt appreciate having so many issues within the first weekend. My husband I werent happy with the results after we took the car home, so we took the car back to the dealerships mechanic center, and they gave us some vague answers as to what could be wrong with the vehicle, so we left with no definitive answers. The weekend that we got the car we realized that the car had a coolant leak, and that the tires werent in great condition. So up front we had to dish out 4 brand new tires, and get the coolant leak resolved. The salesperson, Chris was nice and forthcoming about the vehicle at first but when we got the vehicle it seemed like there was more damages that werent disclosed at first. My husband has attempted to call Chris several times, and of course he hasnt answered or returned his calls. What really made my husband and I mad was that the temporary registration expired. So I called the DMV to figure out why we hadnt received the registration, and apparently they had the wrong address. So on top of already putting down money upfront, I had to pay additional money to get another temporary registration because the dealership didnt get it right the first time. Since my husband and I are both in the military this vehicle was supposed to make our daily commutes to and from work easier, but it hasnt. Its just been a guessing game of what could go wrong next.

I bought my used 2009 Honda Civic from Crest. Jim Barr was incredibly helpful to me at the time, and was there to answer every question I had. In the years since I have had both routine maintenance work and bodywork done on it after a small accident. The staff at Crest is great, they do a nice job explaining the options when you bring your car in for service. I wont be buying another car without visiting Crest.

Anyways I explained my concern of a recall on my acura tlx that Dons ford lied and said was fixed before they sold me the car. These guys are just great. I have been going there for parts and service for my Acuras for the past 10 years. The staff is polite, the service is consistently excellent, and the facility is very clean and comfortable. The staff makes an effort to get to know you by name. Just very personable service. I haven’t bought a new car from them yet, but if their sales department is as good as parts and service, then they’ve got my business when the time comes.8/31/21 update: I just purchased a new Acura from Crest and worked with Yazmin (sales) and Philip (finance manager). They were also very professional and the entire experience went very well. I wanted a specific color, trim and options package that is very hard to come by with current supply chain difficulties during a pandemic. My wife and I just had the best experience at Crest Acura. I called ahead on Monday to inquire about a 2005 MDX that was posted online. Candis was very helpful with providing me details over the phone and was ready for us when we showed up later that day. After my wife and I each test drove it we sat down and worked out a very reasonable price for our trade-in with the help of Jim Barr, the General manager. He and Candis made the buying experience very pleasant. I didnt even have to set up a new insurance policy for the vehicle or transfer the plates; Candis took care of everything. We showed up on Wednesday to drop off our trade-in and were on our way in our MDX in no time. We would highly recommend Crest Acura to anyone. Excellent Service Department!!! After taking my 2016 MDX to the dealership I purchased it from 3 separate times and being told the loud banging noise coming from my tire was normal, I brought my car here to be looked at. The service team reassured me the noise was not normal and promised they would not give me back my car still making the noise. They did exactly that! Provided me with a loaner car and worked directly with Acura corporate to determine the issue (manufacture defect in my brakes). I will be bringing my car here for service from now on.

I brought my Acura MDX out two weeks ago for a recall, I expressed my concerns about my car making a noise when stopping; the service guy stated oh it’s just when the brakes are wet. I drove the truck for a few more days and it was still doing it with 55 degree weather I called and mAde an appointment. I had an appointment at 830 so had to leave my house at 715 and sat at the dealership until 215 to have a wheelbaring replaced on my truck that is one year old! Did not speak to anyone this whole time, stated they didn’t have a loaner car for me to use, and felt the service was rude and drawn out, probably because my car was under warranty so I was at the bottom of the list. Very disappointed and dissatisfied. I have two cars from them and am rethinking renewing my leases.

The car is fantastic! I love my MDX. They were fair with the trade and the deal on the new car. HOWEVER, the dealership seems to have not been up to date on title laws as they thought my car should be titled to my husband, not me. It was a little frustrating to have to fight to get your own car in your own name. Now I am getting emails from Acura Inc. asking how my husband likes his car. He hasnt even driven it.

Simple NYS inspection and remove a nail/plug a tire took way too long. Almost 1.5 hours. I was notified after about 1/2 hour that the inspection was complete. Well over 1/2 hour for the tire? That was unacceptable. Its time to trade in..having second thoughts about going back to crest.

Recently I had a recall on my ILX Acura. Being concerned, I called Jeff Darrow and he explained more about the recall, and being that my safety is top priority, he made me aware that I could get a loaner car, at no charge, as the part needed for the recall was back ordered. I took his advice. The part came in a few weeks later, he called saying my car was ready for pick up. I was due for an inspection, oil change and snow tires stored. the service department did all of that as well as Ryan Burns cleaned and detailed my car. The service I received from Jeff Darrow, Ryan Burns and mechanic Lee Rathbun was top notch. I cant say enough about Crest Acura, they always exceed expectations and know what it means to take care of the customer. Jim Barr has a stellar team. This was the absolute best car buying experience I have ever had. I worked with Jim Barr (the owner), Mark and Dave.Jim made sure everything went smooth, Mark took care of the details and the tons of paperwork, Dave is the finance guy and never tried to high pressure me into something.I was treated like royalty but the true test was after the purchase. I came in this morning to drop off paperwork, I noticed a small detail that was not right with my car and they hopped on it right away. Wife and I worked with sales consultant Jeanine and sales manager Philip on moving from a 2016 TLX to a 2019 MDX Aspec. Both were professional and went above and beyond expectations... Not pushy at all and made us and our son feel like we were at home while at the dealership. We made a deal at price much more than fair and actually better than any dealer within the 150 miles we searched. We were in our new vehicle the same day with minimal paperwork time. No regrets here the wife and I are happy. We had a less than satisfactory but not terrible experience 3 years ago when looking to purchase the 16 TLX but couldn’t make a deal and ended up at a competitor but Crest won our business back with their exceptional customer service. If anyone had similar experience in the past I would highly recommend going back! We would also like to thank Ila in service for the prompt appointment for an add on to our new vehicle. I took it in for regular maintenance, (oil change, tire rotation) and asked Jeff, the Service Manager to look my brake problem. he had checked out which resulted in both front rotors being replaced, at no charge. I am extremely happy with my treatment thus far at Crest, and look forward to test driving the 2019 RDX when it comes out.

I usually do not go out of my way to write reviews, but the buying experience that I had at Crest Acura was unlike any I have experienced before, and felt that it should be shared. A few months ago I was in the market for a new car. I picked out my top five cars and test drove the first two. The Acura TLX was car number three. I didnt even get to cars four or five. After a few minutes walking around the showroom, Candis greeted me warmly. She asked if I had any questions about the TLX. My initial response was I am just looking. She made herself available, but no overbearing. I asked her a host of questions, all of which she answered honesty, and without hesitation. She clearly knows the product. We went out for a test drive, and it was evident that Candis knew the car inside and out. After the drive, I was hooked and officially done looking for cars. This was the car that I wanted. We discussed leasing versus buying options. At no point during the discussion did Candis make me feel pressure to buy on the spot. This was the point that I knew Crest was a reputable dealer that I wanted to do business with. After a 30 minute discussion, I told her that I needed to think it over. I left and then came back two days later. We negotiated the price for both a lease and new car. I feel that we came to a good agreement. Some dealers refuse the negotiate. This is not the case with Crest Acura. Candis put me in the car that I wanted, for the price I was willing to spend, all without the pressure and angst that can sometimes accompany a new car purchase. Her after sales follow-up was as strong as her sales pitch. I am glad that I had the Acura TLX as one of the cars on my list, and even more happy that I had a sales rep like Candis to guide me through the process in a seamless and stress free way. Candis gives new meaning to the car buying experience. Thank you!

It was a pleasure working with Edmon Salameh & Philip Witherell and Ed Wilson did a fantastic job of working out my financing. After visiting many dealerships, and taking multiple test drives, I was almost certain Id be a new Audi owner. That was, until I went to Crest. My salesperson, Madelina was phenomenal. She was kind, knowledgeable, genuine and provided a great, hassle free, buying experience! I felt valued as a person, and customer from the moment I stepped foot in the showroom. Now, five months later, I continue to experience amazing customer service at Crest as I bring my RDX in for service and accessory installation. Madelina is also still always available to me, and more than willing to answer any questions, assist with setting up appointments, etc. No other dealership I have had experience with has ever exhibited the outstanding customer service and appreciation I see at Crest.EDIT: Fast forward to a year of ownership. I find my initial impression of Crest was highly skewed. Turns out, theyre great, until you have an actual problem with your vehicle. I was recently in a collision with a deer, and of course brought my RDX to the dealership for its repairs. The service, or lack there of has been absolutely awful. I was told 3-4 days for the repairs. It actually took 3 weeks. Then, when I picked my RDX up I had to turn around and bring it right back. The parking sensors werent working, there was dirt in my freshly painted door.. yes, IN the paint, and they had scratched my windshield. I have been treated extremely rudely by Fabian, the body shop manager, and essentially told I was lying and must have scratched the windshield myself. Were now arguing over whose insurance is going to pay to replace the glass, and Im having serious regrets over not choosing that Audi I almost bought. Disappointing.

Ive recently had a most disturbing and disappointing experience with Crest Acura. They estimated a total cost for a repair that I agreed to. When the bill came, it was for an additional charge which they were to reduce because of a failure to correctly diagnose and repair the problem initially. When I called to clarify, they said that I misunderstood what they said. I will never take a car to Crest Acura again and would advise all Acura owners to stay away from this dealership.

Old timer at the service department severely lacks customer service skills. Perhaps he was having a bad day... got home after they did a safety recall on my passenger airbag and it seems they broke my trunk switch from the glove box, now my trunk wont open...

After some research, I decided to stop in at the local Acura dealer just to look around. The TLX had caught my eye as I saw some on the road. I was just quietly admiring a vehicle from all angles and Candice, a salesperson came out and asked if I needed any help. I explained that I was on a fact finding mission and not looking to buy yet. I still had not committed to the TLX and wanted to compare it to two other similar vehicles. I was provided with specific literature with direct comparison of all relevant variables, drove a TLX model similar to what I was interested in, met the General Manager, Business manager and multiple sales staff. All with no sales pressure. I was encouraged to return after completing my due diligence. After settling on the TLX, the rest was easy and quick. I even approached an individual waiting for his vehicle to be serviced. He spoke very highly of the service department.Great teamwork for the sale and I am loving my new vehicle.
