Got my NYS inspection at this location. Was able to book my appointment online for the next morning, which is great as online booking is most convenient for me. The shop was busy, but the mechanics worked as quickly as they could to minimize wait times. Good customer service, knowledgeable staff, some current sales on products. I just have to say that I am so incredibly thankful that Larry and his staff were able to help me the same day I called. I needed my tire patched and to be switched out with my donut that was so I could drive back home via the highway later. I gave them a call and told Larry my situation and he was very genuine and understanding and told me to come in when I could and theyd take care of it for me. While I was there I asked a few questions about some other things I was curious about and he was very informative. This shop may be the only shop Ive ever been too that hasnt tried to take advantage of the fact that I am a woman and may not know a ton about cars. I feel so relieved that they could help me, if only other shops were like this because this is how they should be. Id recommend this place to anyone! Thank you guys!

Went in for inspection last Tuesday was told it failed Because my control arm, inner and outer tie rod ends were bad, was told that everything else was in perfect condition just to get these parts fixed and I’d be all set to pass inspection, Got it fixed not by them Took it back for the inspection they said my front end looks phenomenal but now my back end needs shocks I asked why wasn’t this seen last week when I brought it in and was told my car was covered in mud that’s why they couldn’t see it I said that’s not true but as your job aren’t you supposed to clean it off to see if everything is working good the guy said we do so I said again why wasn’t this seen when I brought it last Tuesday I believe they just wanted me to pay them for something because I didn’t get the front and fixed with them which they were charging me $1100 bad business and I will never go to them again I took my car to them yesterday being Sunday at 11am and was told it would be at least 3 hours. I didn’t get a call saying they were going to keep my car overnight and here we are Monday 1 o’clock in the afternoon and I still don’t have my car

I accidentally drove over a random bolt in the street. I was in a bind because I needed my tire fixed ASAP considering I didn’t want to get a flat and have MORE damage to my vehicle. My dealership told me it’d take 2 days to get the tire in and another place told me 2 hours because they were busy. Mavis was busy but took me right in and gave me the most reasonable price. 10 out of 10 would recommend.

I am planning a trip to Colorado, where I went to grad school and I had a rather loud noise coming from my back passenger side wheel I also asked them to check my brakes and brake pads because my car was almost at 90000 miles and I was going on a 4,000 mile trip.They reported I needed new rear brake pads and both rear wheel bearings. I also bought four all terrain SUV/small truck tires. The manager listened to my requests said he would take care of it. He also saw my Vietnam Army hat and offered me the Mavis Veterans and first responders membership for a year with a discount. I get lots of thank you for your service! and appreciate it but a little help with a necessary repair signifies real appreciation. The customer service is exemplaryI called to find out if they have a battery for my car, only to receive an affirmative answer. What improved the answer is the brand of battery that will be installed. A few days later, I get towed to the shop and wait in the lobby, while my car gets a new battery. Larry, the manager, ensures that customers will see a well-maintained lobby, and helpful employees, it doesnt get much better than this. The price was right too.

Not a good at all! On 5-17-21, Set up an appointment with the call center for an oil change and mount two tires. I made it clear that I would need my truck back the same day. I was assured Id receive a call when they were done. At 3:30, I called on the status and was put on hold for 26 minutes before I hung up and called back. this time I spoke with RICH, the person working on my truck. Rich tells me the truck requires over $800 in parts before labor! I told him he must have the wrong truck, but Rich doesnt want to listen, pushing on Rich offers me coupons. I asked to speak with the manager and was back on hold another 10 minutes before Rich comes back to excuse his earlier assertions, because they had a lot of trucks, No apology, But hes gonna pull my truck in next and will call when its finished. That Did Not Happen. Knowing they close at 6pm, I called at 5:41pm. No answer. I continued to call as my wife and I got in her car and headed to their shop. They were closed, my truck in the parking lot UNTOUCHED! they did NOTHING! On 5-18-21, at 7:30am, I rode a bicycle to their shop wanting only my key and to get on with my day. The Manager arrived at about 7:50, and was rude from the start. He tells me to move my bike. I tell him The bike wouldnt be in his way if Id gotten a call to get my truck. He ignores me goes inside and locks the door. I waited, but when I saw him grab a broom and start sweeping the showroom I understood that Dirt was more important than I was to this guy. I lifted the mail flap on the door and stated emphatically All I want is my key and Im out of here! I wish Id gotten his name. This guy comes charging out screaming about how he not here to put up with my bad attitude, that they tried to call me 3 times and I didnt answer. I pulled out my phone to show I got NO calls from them, to which he said I can only take his word (I assume he meant Rich), that he call you 3 times. I tried to tell him that a Good Manager would gather all the facts before taking sides. He went back to get the key, when he came back I asked why no work was done on the truck? He said, I dont know, I guess he ran out of time. (some manager). Then, The key he gave me wasnt mine! Told him the moment I saw it. But no, he want to argue and call me Stupid for not knowing my own key, at which time I did out off and displayed the extent of my vocabulary, which worked. he went back and got MY key and said sorry, dont know what for, but he said it. They gave me the WRONG quote; the WRONG key and Rich clearly called the WRONG person. NEVER going there again.

On my way to Syracuse my tire tore off the rim and I had to pay 73 dollars for roadside assistance. I bought a new tire from Mavis for 67.00. I couldnt have gotten a better deal and I called around. I know how hard it is to remove a tire from the rim thats torn off they did it with no problem or protest. Amazing work, super friendly and respectable, accurate wait times and they work as fast as they can. Best tire service Ive had from any maviseven

Had an appointment for 10 oclock. Was told it would take an hour and it has been 4 and a half hours so far and my car inspection hasnt even started. Multiple customers have come in to the store complaining about issues from yesterday and 2 others have come in complaining that they were told before me it would take an hour and, like myself, have not been helped yet. What is the point of making an appointment if youre not going to make the appointments the priority? On top of all this, one of the mechanics is walking around with his mask hanging off his face, coughing, and touching everything. Not coming back here again and I will be telling everyone I know to avoid this shop.

Came to get some brakes done but ended up also needed rotors i was a little worried that it would be expensive but wrong. They work with you very friendly professional and courteous. I was told exactly what was wrong with my brakes and did a side by side example of what t a kmmy rotors should look like as he showed them to me so you understand whats going on.. Deff worth stopping in if you need brakes or even some tires its worth it!!!

I would give them 0 stars if I could for my experience with them today. I had car parts ordered yesterday. Dropped my vehicle off today and was treated poorly when I called to see if my vehicle was ready for pickup. 5 hours and one blood transfusion in the hospital later and my vehicle is not finished. I guess if youre not willing to sit in the facility with your car they will put it off and ignore your vehicle. Not only that.... Fred hung up on me as I was expressing why I needed my vehicle. I am 9 months pregnant and cannot be without my car for days when a service is guaranteed at a specific time. Im not sure if they treat all their women customers like this but I was ready to pay the $700 for my vehicle to be serviced but the way they treat customers is beyond me. I will never return there and I will let my Facebook followers save their money and time by telling of such a poorly handled experience. The front desk is the face of the business and this was handled HORRIBLY and RUDE. Very unpleasant and I will NOT ever return. Ill take my business elsewhere. Ill be letting the BBB know about this as well.
